THE RUDEST STAFF ive ever worked with. I thibk they forget they have a job to help and assist the residents. Theyre insanely rude and incompetent. If you have a package in the office they will say its not there 20 times then finally find it. They cant input a work order correctly to save their lives, dont exoect ANYTHING to get fixed correctly or on time. Parking is IMPOSSIBLE to find, every single night people park in the fire lanes. Im not sure how much i can streas how rude the office staff is, miranda will argue with you and not let you get a word in. I cant wait to move out of this hell hole of an apartment. Oh and ive also had 3 cars broken into here and 1 of them stolen. The rent price is way too high for the area. Just do what ever you can to not rent here, id rather ask a friend or family member to live on a couch.

We've lived here 6 years and just signed another 1 year lease. The first time we came to Lexington Heights we knew we had found our new home. The whole staff from the Leasing Office to Maintenance are friendly and really care about their residents. The apartments have great amenities and floor plans. The grounds are well maintained. Service requests are taken care of in 1--2 days and management always calls to make sure you're happy with the work. They even remember your Birthday and send you a birthday note every year. If you want a great apartment with lots of amenities, a parklike setting and wonderful management...this is the place to call home. We do and we love coming home to Lexington Heights.

I don't usually like to rate places or post comments but I just wanted to inform that I really love the place I live at. Lexington Heights doesn't get recognized enough for their good qualities but when a minor thing happens their slammed. I've never had a bad experience here. I've lived here for 2 years. I love the location. I love going into the office where everyone is so friendly. The office staff really gets to know you by name not just an apartment number. They remember your birthday and send you a card. Once they called me and told me I have a package in the office that didn't have my apartment number on it but they identified that it was mine to the postman. I totally forgot that I was for a package. So don't believe all the negative comments.

Amazing. I just moved here from CA I was moving for work and had to look for an apartment online site unseen. I talked to Lexington on the phone and from that first conversation I could tell I had found the right place. I had talked with Jennifer. She make the process so easy. I could apply online, pay online, view photos and she even Skyped with me so I could see the actual apartment. Then they sent the lease to my email for me to e-sign. I tell you she made this work amazing. What I thought would be a scary experience turn into a pleasant one. I already feel like its home just after building a relationship with Jennifer. Thank you Lexington.

I love this complex, the grounds are gorgeous and the staff is great! From the office team to the maintenance guys everyone is always so nice. Whenever I need anything they are here to help and extremely pleasant! They office is always doing things to make us feel special like giving away prizes for paying rent early to holiday events like hot cocoa parties!! They are even going to wrap Christmas presents for free!!

I am beyond grateful for where I live right now. I've been expecting a large package this week and have been home with the flu. Well for some reason the package was dropped off at the office not my door. I called the office to see if it was there. I spoke to Darla the property manager lovely girl. She noticed how awful I sounded on the phone and when asking about my package she offered to deliver to my door so I could stay in bed and rest and stay out of the cold outside. I just love this staff they really know what customer service is all about. The actually care and go above and beyond. To me it's like they saved the day one let stressful thing in my life great thing it's where I spend 50% of my time.

Amazing place to live! Its in a great location. When we first came here before we moved in, we toured with Jennifer and she was super helpful and made the whole entire moving process so easy. Even after moving in, she is always there when we need help. The staff is one of the best that we have ever worked with unlike our previous apartments. The community is gated and that is one of the favorite things about living here!!

I love living here. Every month the property gives away a great basket just for paying your rent on time. They have events every month for me and my children to attend. Doug the Maintenance Man always fixes things promptly and has been around along time. Every time I walk in the office they greet me with a smile and know me by name. My kids love stopping by the office every day to say hi to the staff and get a cookie.

I have lived at Lexington Heights for three years now and all I can say is wow. Talk about the best living community I have ever had. They have great management Darla Wickre is the property manager and she is always friendly and wanting to help anyway she can. Maintenance is always helpful and addresses any issues I have efficiently and in a timely manner. The interior of the apartments are clean, spacious, and homey. I would recommend Lexington Heights and I have recommended it to anyone that is looking to rent in Renton.

My situation was urgent and stressful as I was taking care of an 83 year old gentleman. The management team were efficient, accurate, and very accommodating. The location is ideal for my needs, and the neighbors are very polite, professional and quiet. My two bedroom is just fine and with the fire place and the greenbelt back yard I love it when I am home. The maintenance crew, landscapers, management, temporary helpers are all honest hard working professionals who go extraordinary lengths to accommodate their tenants. I am proud to be a resident of Lexington Heights Apartments in Renton, Washington.

I had a love-hate relationship with living here. On a day-to-day basis, I was overall, pretty content. The nitty-gritty: Apartment: The apartment itself was cozy, warm, and inviting. Almost all apartments are up against a greenbelt, and it's a gorgeous thing to see when you look out your windows. The layout of the apartment was a little awkward...not so open concept. The layout I had, the A1, had the cable/internet hookup basically in the walkway path, which made the TV stand in a awkward location. The floors were TERRIBLE. Super thin. Creaks everywhere. I had to tippy-toe in my own apartment because I felt bad for the nice man who lived below us. You shouldn't have to do that for a place you pay good money for. Grounds/Complex/Safety: Very nice, always. Grass is kept green and cut nicely. It's a gated community, but the gate stays open during the day, for business; and after hours, when the gates close, it takes about a good 10 seconds, so 2-3 cars can get in. However, there were NO problems during the time I lived there. I always felt safe. Parking: Was a nuisance, CONSTANTLY. Only people with carport/garages have guaranteed parking. Every other stall (all uncovered stalls are unmarked) is first come, first serve. There were only a limited amount close to my building, so if I came home later than 7pm any day of the week, I'd be walking from the leasing office parking lot. When I first moved in, I was told that carport rent was $35 - however, there were none available at the time. They asked if I wanted to be on a waitlist, I said yes. I guess I was not put on the waitlist because they put notices on everyone's door when there was one available, and I ended up NOT getting that one. They asked if we wanted to be on the waitlist again, I said yes, and when one became available, they notified us first, we took it, but what a coincidence - the price "had just increased to $50 a month", according to them. Maintenance: My unit never required much maintenance. But for the 2 service requests I put in, it was taken care of relatively quickly. Office Staff: They are all mostly nice. Huong is and always was the sweetest, and most helpful in the office. She was personable and always knew what was going on and what to do. They hold your USPS/UPS/FedEx boxes for you, so that's comforting. Move-out: GET READY. Their instructions for move-out were not exactly clear-cut. But we just cleaned EVERYTHING anyway. They came in a couple weeks prior to our move-out date to do a "pre-inspection" so they can get a head start on ordering materials to change/fix after we moved -fine. But they also attached another "notice" to the paper saying they were going to be closed our move-out date (Sunday, May 31) so we HAD to turn in the keys on Saturday, May 30 by THEIR office close-of-business time or we would be charged a prorated one-day rent for Monday, June 1, which is when they would be open again to accept the keys after the 30th. When I asked about being reimbursed for the day we COULD NOT occupy the space we PAID FOR IN FULL, the office told us no. Their reasoning was that "the notice was a COURTESY" to US so we wouldn't get charged an extra day. I asked WHY they didn't notify us ahead of time, to pay a prorated amount of rent for May, and they said we had to pay the full amount because we are bound by the lease to fulfill until the 31st - yet, they did not fulfill their side of the lease by giving us a dwelling to live in on a day that we paid for in advance. I went back and forth for a few minutes with Lindsay about this issue, and she wouldn't budge. So I said ---- IT. The frustrating part is that they're sometimes open on Sunday, sometimes not - just whenever they feel like it, they won't let you know unless it happens to be your move-out date, and if it inconveniences you, then too bad. Funny isn't it that they Craigslist ads advertise that they're open on Sundays? This place was, for the most part, smooth sailing up until move-out. And for their LACK of integrity, I would not live here ever again. Pay more money to live somewhere else.

They are horrible, don't ever try to rent this apartment. The staff. parking, maintenance. and safety all are terrible. They broke our apartment and took all our belongings plus stole our car while we were sleeping. I believe the maintenance people stole it, because they always sneak your kitchen window or unexpected place. And the other big thing our bill was growing up every month, and when you asked them they will give you some reason which is not true. If you already rent, please keep your receipt and the copy of your check; because they will ask you to pay another bill again and again, and when you try to leave that apt, they will rob/charge/ you for a lot of unreasonable thing and they will tell you that you owe them money. They are so stupid. I will not recommended this for anybody, they are the worst.

This apartment is the Worst apartment Ive ever lived. When you look from outside, it looks cool, but the bill is going up over $100 every month. And they always charge some thing which is not on the lease or which were supposed to be included in the lease. At the end, when you want move out, they reaped you. Glad finally am out.

My husband & I love living at Lexington Heights. The staff is always so friendly, and always takes care of any issues that come along with apartment living. The maintenance fixes things promptly and communicates with us to make sure they come at a convinent time for us and that everything is fixed for us. My only complaint is sometimes it is hard to find parking, but usually it is only a problem for us if we are out and about on a Friday or Saturday night, otherwise it isn't too bad near our building.

Thank goodness our lease will be up soon! I never had a problem with steffanie like other posters, and she's gone now I believe. However, we have had several unresolved maintenance issues. They rarely show up and when they do nothing really seems to get fixed. We had a major mold problem due to a leak in a neighboring apartment and all they did was pour bleach on the floor!!?? We're paying way too much in rent for an apartment with a constant mold smell plus, our rent would go up if we stay. Also, there's an outside banister on a neighboring building that has exposed nails and has been reported numerous times over THREE months with absolutely no response from maintenance or staff. We rented here because it seemed safe with the gate and all. But, the gates are open all day and at night, they close so slowly that 2 or 3 cars come in after you. I am not exaggerating when I say that most times I come in at night there is at least one car parked and waiting for some one else to open the gate. So, they obviously don't have a code.

I lived here for 3 years. Glad that I moved out. This is the worst management I ever had. period. Steffany is outright super arrogant. Management was good when I moved in. From there it has gone south. When you move in they will tell you that they are renting you "off the market rate" which is an outright lie. They always rent you at market rate. But if you have to break your lease, you will have to pay the lease breakage fine and then the "difference" in market rate and the discounted rent. Anyway, I didn't have to break the lease. Remember to take photos of every room and every appliances when you move out, even after you did a professional cleaning including the carpets. Else they will try to finance their apartment remodeling projects on to you. Take my advice, avoid this place.

Worst apartments ever! The whole management team is a joke. Why are they still not fired? They are rude, unprofessional and just stupid. Everyone who wrote a review said something negative about them and they're all true. They rip you off, try to get money from you as much as they can. Increase rent with some -------- reason and charge you for your maintaince requests. They are the worst "professional" people I've ever came across with, even those cheap crappy apartments have better management than this. I will defiantly be contacting they're corporate office I think other people who have had the same thing happened to them should do that too.

I am so glad I'm reading these reviews before I took more time out of my schedule to come and see if this is the place for me. Three Strikes and your out Lexington Heights!.. Things don't just happen for a reason! They happen Just!.. I have been to this place twice to see about renting, the first time on a Sunday after church they were closed (12:30p). The second time I went there were two women agents in there office, one who was with clients and was dressed as though she was ready to go to a night club with a very plunging V-neck top (dress)?.. The other agent was on the phone chatting to someone and didn't have the decency to advise the caller that she will have to call back. A delivery person had walked in just as I drove up, by the time I got in there and spoke to the "receptionist" who unfortunately was only given limited task was not able to assist us. This delivery guy still waited on for someone to takes quick moment to sign off on his delivery, I clearly voiced my opinion to the reception to say this is not right! Can't the women on the phone take care of this man and sign off on his delivery!?.. I than asked since she won't get off the phone (20 minutes had passed) could you just take his sheet in there for her to sign it!.. I asked.. The flustered receptionist got up and did just that and he was on his way. I stood around and additional 15 minutes as she went over the floor plans than someone else came in needing to ask about an apartment and left because they we're not able to wait around. I quickly went to the restroom and returned and still no one could assist me in seeing an apartment. The agent still on the phone and the other still with the same clients I finally left. In closing, I may have given "Lexington Heights" some of my time but No Way will they be getting my money! Please note I am not a renter but wanted to be but the only way to submit this was to say I was or a former renter..

I can't believe I am still at this hell place. The staff is terrible and the maintenance people are even worse. When we first moved in, Alma (former agent) was a gem. In fact, part of the reason why we opted to go with Lexington Heights was because of her. Then Alma left and things went tumbling down from there. A while ago I called in a maintenance request and specifically said that they do not have my permission to enter my home without me being available. Guess what folks? I sat in my car and watched the maintenance person entered my apartment! That's right folks - put your camera on because you'd never know who will be in your home. The manager there is a waste of salary. Someone ought to teach her the meaning of customer service. After all, we are the reason why they all have jobs. You know it's bad when they told you that you're not even on the lease so they can't accept your maintenance request. Yes, Holly, we are talking about you. Check your records so you'd know which tenant you're talking to on your next incoming call. Know your job but more importantly know your residents. It's not hard. You have the original signed leases. The parking situation is a night mare. The walls are so thin that you can hear people talking, having sex or even a sneeze or two. You can also smell the stench from their bathroom if you were unfortunate enough to live upstairs. The ceiling fan doesn't work! Imagine living next to a sewer. Maintenance requests are slow to response to so don't hold your breath and we don't even call in that often. And when they showed up (after the third request) - only to tell you that you might have to pay for it! Really? I can't wait to do a full review with the corporate office. While the idea of living in a gated community is quite attractive, it is not worth the hassle.

Lexington heights is a horribly run apartment complex.I moved in about two years ago to a two bedroom one bath at around $850 a month. This was a 6 month lease. after the lease was over i was told rent would go up $50 a month without a contract. One month later I was given a new invoice for rent that would go up an additional $150 a month. I then signed a lease on a two bed two bath because it was cheaper then the one bedroom. This lease was for one year! after this lease was up i was given a new invoice for an increase of $235 a month! Lexington heights charges $45 a month for covered parking spaces, I didnt buy one because i needed the covered portion. I bought one because there is no parking when you come home at night. Problem is... I would pay for this spot and other people would park in it! When i called management about this they would tell me that each care got three warnings before they would get towed. IN two years living here no car ever got towed, but i got to park outside the gate. It took this management over a year to get this situation under control. The management is always changing, and it is very evident that no one that works here has graduated from high school. DO NOT LIVE HERE! On top of that my car was stolen.

Ok so let me start off by saying lexington heights is very nice, inside and out. But the apartment that was set up for us was no where near ready to move in when the move in date came, the blinds were dirty, the stove inside and out was disgusting! The tile in the entry way had paint all over the floor because who ever painted was in a HUGE rush and didnt know how to mask things off, the outlets were loose, the kitchen handles were loose, the kitchen sink leaked... The carpet was SO BAD in the entire apartment, it had stains EVERYWHERE, we had to tell them to replace it and we had to wait to put away all of our belonging because we had to move stuff from one side of the apartment to the other while they replaced the carpet!! (trust me it was disgusting and they just tried to pass it off on us). The master bathroom had a hole in it!! Thats a whole other story that i will get too soon. The apartment is on the bottom floor which is below ground level so it is VERY dark during the day, to the point where we cant even see our keys let alone find the key hole to put the key in it to unlock the door. we told them we wanted a light down by the front door, it was a HUGE deal for them and argued about it for about 30 mins. They want to charge US for the electric bill to put the light in because we cant see our own damn door? This is not safe.. Will be calling corporate to get this handled, it just got put in today, after being living here for a month now. Now back to the hole in the shower, this is what really PISSES me off, the maintenance guy looked at it and tried to say "its water proof caulking", does it really matter if its water proof or not???? We pay almost $1300 a month to have a damn HOLE in the shower??? So what people who have no hole in the shower in their apartment pay more to have a good shower??? Thats not even it, i get home today to see the list of things to get ready for it to be repaired, Im totally fine moving everything out of the bathroom and get it cleared otu for them, but they ask US to BUY plastic and tape to mask off the stuff THEY will be getting dusty????? ummm HELL no. Im not buying plastic nor am i buying tape for something THEY needed to fix in the first place. This place is a total joke, they do not care that your paying over a GRAND for a freaking apartment! They just expect you to pass it off and be okay with everything half assed. Im not even including everything that was wrong here, it was a complete disaster from day one. My brother left his car unlocked on accident for one night and someone broke in and rummaged through everything taking random things including a GPS... So much for the gate at the front of the apartments! The theives live among us!! Hate this place, cant believe i signed a one year lease.... 11 months to go.

DO NOT RENT HERE! Ok, so the 3rd review on this pages is for sure an employee or the manager of this place. Notice how it's in the style of a sales pitch..."yes we pay more...BUT..." In all reality Lexington is nothing more than a money grab. They charge all kinds of hidden fees (garage door opener fee, key card fee to access the "Free" clubhouse facilities outside of the office hours (10am-6pm) etc.) Speaking of the clubhouse facilities, the "gym" has old and depleted equipment and less than half a set of free weights. The basketball court is usually held by one person who seems to be running a "training" business in the facility. Also, the swimming pool is absolutely disgusting and always full of screaming kids. I moved in during may, and am breaking my lease ASAP. Since we moved in, they have been painting the outside of the complex non-stop (and extremely slowly). I was sitting in my living room the other day when a worker set his ladder up against my balcony and jumped right on up, with no warning from the staff. This was a major invasion of privacy. Also, although the complex is "gated" there was a couple week period of time when the gate was broken, and wide open. During this time, on more than one occasion I heard multiple car alarms and even witnessed a car with its alarm on being driven out of the complex!!! Also I have found an empty bullet casing in the parking lot. SKETCHY LOCATION SKETCHY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

Do NOT move here!!!!!!!!!!!
Do not move here. I hated my experience living at Lexington Height apartments. I'll admit that the staff appears professional, the grounds look nice, and from the outside and even online the apartments look up to par, but they are not. In a span of a year management changed several times, you have to call up to the office several times before anyone will even pick up the phones and when someone does answer, they always sound unsure and like they do not know what they are talking about, parking is horrible, you literally have to make it home by 7pm sharp or you will not be able to find a place to park, the walls are paper thin (you can hear your neighbors talking and their bathroom fans on), and the so called paint job in the units are everything but professional. You will regret living here I promise you. I had such an horrible experience living here that I went and bought a house because I never wanted to rent again. Oh, and good luck with moving out. They charge you for cleaning and painting the unit, although my apartment was spotless clean and didn't even need any painting done. It doesn't matter how clean you get your place, they are going to charge you and take you deposit. Be careful!

Very noisy and not very clean
I wish I would have read these reviews before signing a one year lease. I would have never signed. I live in a middle 3 bdrm apt. The neighbor above me walks like an elephant and it always sounds like they are remodeling or moving furniture. The family under me yells and talks very loud. They also run their bathroom fan 24/7 which is very annoying because it vibrates on my floor and makes a horrible sound. The showers are smaller then a standard size shower/bath. I didn't notice it until I actually went to take my first shower there. The appliances are very out dated and not in good condition. I absolutely hate living here but am stuck. I would never recommend these apts. to anyone. Oh and for the garbage, I took my garbage out the other morning and the dumpster was overflowing with garbage thrown all around it. Nasty, Nasty, Nasty!!!!!!!!! Think they could spring for another dumpster or 2 for what they charge to live there.......
