Very Safe and High Style

I have lived here two years. Apartment living is just what you'de expect but, I walk my dog all hours of the night and have never felt unsafe. Love the style and size of the one bedroom great price. Great Maintaince and office staff. If any one puts a neg. review on this site it's most likely they cause their own problems. One issue I do have, is being far away from office the landscapeing upkeep is a bit rough. Also If you're thinking of moving here, get a carport...Parking is hard to find a night.

nicest place ive ever lived!

This is by far the nicest place around this area. the office is soooo pretty! i want to decorate my place just like it :) the staff is always friendly- anytime i walk in the front door somebody gets up to see me. even though i know the manageers got to be busy, she always has time to say hi to me and anyone else who comes in! i dont feel embarressed bring my friends or parents over. in fact, im looking forward to hosting my first thanksgiving here!!

Don't expect your deposit back! Rip off!

Management changed two times since we moved in and, after move out, new management would not honor the agreement. Overcharged for cleaning CLEAN apartment. We spent entire day cleaning up and left it tidy. No reward! Also, don't count on using the pool or jacuzzi as it is only open for 2, 3 months at best. Floors are squeaky as nowhere I have seen before. Do not move in!

Awful place to live!

From day one this place gave us nothing but problems. We moved into a 3bd/2bth and the toilet in the main bathroom kept plugging up and overflowing. Maintenance would always come out and snake it but NEVER clean up after themselves. Finally they get a real plumbing company to come out and look at the toilet and find roots in the pipe system. WITHOUT asking us when a good time to come and fix this they scheduled the plumbing company to come in and tear out floor with a JACKHAMMER to replace the pipe and tell us that we won't be inconvenienced because we have another fully functioning bathroom. Yeah, it s totally not inconvenient to have to rearrange my schedule to accommodate for the plumbing company to rip out the floor with a Jack Hammer. It's not inconvenient to have the water turned off for an entire day. It's not inconvenient for me to have to board my dog while they dig up the floor with a jack hammer. What a joke. DO NOT MOVE HERE....When I told the leasing agent that this was a huge inconvenience from day one and felt that we should be compensated she smiled at me and said they didn t have to compensate us for anything. .... I cannot wait to get the heck out of this crap shoot!

Don't move here

When we first moved in it wasn't too bad. But now the office people have changed twice, the maintenance crew has changed twice, the grounds are not kept up, there are still alcohol bottles in the grass from someone's party 2 weeks ago. Parking is terrible, walls very thin, noisy, garbage is overflowing constantly, security is a joke, the referral fee is a rip off. We referred someone & they signed a lease,but we were told we were ineligible to receive the money due to this persons financial problems which we knew nothing about. But we do now because the office staff told us this persons private personal information. If they are talking to us about them, who else are they talking about. They also put a notice to vacate on our door saying we hadnt paid our rent when they had already cashed our check. Seems like they don't know what they are doing. Too bad we're in a year long lease or we'd be out of here.

horrible place, do not move in please read my review first.

Move in seemed perfect until you are actually living there. I am so glad we have moved out and now know how they treat people after move out. I put a deposit down not even thinking they would take it. I am a clean well kept person no pets or anything. during move out i even ask for paint to help touch up marks from ONLY push pins just to help them out. i cleaned and vacuumed everything and in the end i had a balance of $300 for touch up(which did not need any) and carpet cleaning that is necessary and mandatory during EVERY move out right that i people should not have to pay right?? and should not be put on the person who just lived there. ive never had an apartment complex charge me for their own carpet cleaning when it should be done after EVERY move out and was not stated in the move out aggreement or even charge for touch up paint when they HAVE it there. maintainence was never done when you called them for it, i had to wait about 3-4 days when the issue was "dripping water" from my bathtub which spiked up my water bill tremendously. they never cared or gave me any reimbursment. DO NOT LIVE HERE! my car has also been broken into 3 times and still NO security. please consider another place, the extra $10 for another location is well WORTH IT!!

Worst Property Management Ever

I moved into this apartment complex when it was under different management and was treated with respect. When the new property management took over there were many negative changes to the property. Existing residents were asked to renew their leases at higher rates than they were currently paying while new residents could sign leases at hundreds of dollars less. They also started charging for amenities that were supposed to be free when I originally moved in. Not only did the grounds and property become less maintained but we started seeing criminal activity on the property. In addition, when I moved out they charged me for fees that were in direct contradiction with my written and signed contract. I would never recommend anybody move here.

Horrible place to live, you can never find parking in front of your apartment and some days you have to park outside the gated apartment because there are no spaces inside. The office staff is a joke! They dont know what they are doing half the time. They tell you one thing and do another, nothing is ever what it is suppose to be. Maintainance is worse, never get anything fixed proplerly. Staff tell you they will be there to fix the problem, you wait all day and they never show up. Then you are told sorry we closed the next day but will be there 2 days later in the meantime what do you do if you can live your normal life waiting on maintenance to come. Please do not live here!!! You will be sorry!!!!

Renewed my lease!

I have been a resident for 3yrs now and up until this past year I had made the choice to move. I was not going to renew my lease. Mgmnt was terrible. But his past year there has been a lot of positive changes! I started to notice that someone in Mgmt cared about where and what we call home. I made the choice to go ahead and sign for another year and I have a feeling it was the right choice. Not everyone is going to have the same opinion of course based on whatever thier need is, but for me Im happy for now.

more like spoiled height

I've been here for a little over a year and I am just so happy living here. The staff is awesome always looking to make sure your happy here. They had a Halloween party for all residents, my view of lake Washington and downtown bellvue just makes me never wanna leave. The maintenance guys are also great always keeping this place looking like 5 star place. I've revered two of my friends and they too are more than happy here at Lexington heights.

Great living!!!

I am happy to have this opportunity to express my enjoyment of living at Lexington Heights! Management is what makes the living experience such a joy...The grounds are very well groomed, extra curricular activities are always clean and tidy, parking is never a problem as I have covered parking and if I need any repairs in my apartment, it is quickly resolved. All of the above reflects on the professorial manner of our residential manager Hether...Thanks for making this a great place to live!

Satisfied....

Well the past ratings are interesting. must be some residents that want to vent. I am sure noone can be happy all the time. Which is a shame. Life is about choices, and they chose to live here. Oh well, I think this place is pretty darn cool. I moved in a year ago and the staff has been awesome! I love to play basketball and they havbe a full size indoor court! They just put in a flat screen tv in the gym, its pretty sweet! So I would say take the other comment in stride. This is a great place to live. I have a carport so I dont worry about parking. Close to all the freeways, shopping is close too. There is a great chinese restraunt down the hill...its a good place. So see for yourself before you judge.

Not the best place to live

I find the complex looks decent and the floors plans are different from the other places that I have looked at which was why I picked this place. Once moved in I find out the property mgmt is slow to respond to issues or run around. The walls are paper thin. I live on the bottom unit and can hear people going up and down from the third floor. I hear can hear the toiles flush from the other units and I can hear when the people living above walk around and talk. I probably wont renew another lease term here.

I wouldn't recommend this place at all!

apartment is beautiful but we live in ground floor. The ceiling barrier between the top floor and bottom is very thin, we can hear everything!... Baby crying, footsteps, water running. Ground floor has a lot of bugs, no parking sometimes. Management is very rude. I wouldn't recommend this place.

Gorgeous View!

I recently moved in and this place rocks! Indoor basketball, pool, internet access...the staff was super cool and very helpful. I relocated from the east coast and didnt know where anything was and they got where I needed to go! I feel like I live in a resort. Neighbor is pretty friendly. The gate is a little slow opening, but pretty cool. The mailman took a minute to figure out I lived there so I can get my mail, but other than that all is good. The view kicks butt from the balcony of the clubhouse, I grilled dinner there last night.

Awesome staff and safe neighborhood. I really like Lexington Heights.

I moved to Lexington Heights a little more then a month ago and really love my new apartment. What I find really excellent about this complex is the awesome office and maintenance staff. Every apartment is going to have things that need fixing but the staff is so responsive to my requests that I really never feel the affects of the problem. They are all just so friendly and helpful that I feel I can go to them with any problem and know they will take care of it immediately. I feel safe walking my dog alone at night and never hear my neighbors. I would recommend this apartment complex to my friends and family. It doesn't feel like an apartment, it feels like home.

don't move here

parking is terrible. on some nights there are NO parking at all and other nights there a ton of open parking spaces. i really like how its a gated community and that the gates close after 5 or 6 but sometimes they would leave them open and the next few days they are closed so i never know if they are going to close on me while driving my car. also, it says that its not their fault if the gates close on you car and cause damages. they should take full responsibility since it would be their fault they can't fix it. i can hear my roommate snoring and my neighbors upstairs. when i moved in, i was promised with a free gate remote in another week. when the new management took over, i went back to ask them for a key and they said i would have to pay 50 dollars for one. also, you'd have to buy a card to get into the clubhouse. before you would only have to enter a code. they charge you for everything.

Happy Camper!

I moved into Lexington Heights in February and I am very happy to be here. The staff is incredibly cordial and very willing to help. They made my move in experience wonderful. I have been a renter for 8 years now and this has been the best experience yet. I think the ground looks great, the amentities are awesome, and i really like how there is a card system to get into the building. I have expereienced people riding my tail to get into the gate, but honestly how can yo uprevent that? Unless you want your bumper taken off. My neighbors came over to introduce themselves last night and they have been here a long time, that was comforting. I can see where parking may be an issue, but I have a carport so I dont worry about it. Any apartment I have ever lived in has had parking issues so I have learned to just get a carport. I saw the security guy last night - he asked me my name and that was pretty cool..he is doing his job! I am really digging my new place and look forward to stayin here. I read the other reviews and was suprised...I know I see the guys int he morning picking up a lot of stuff up on the property...and I have not stepped in poop- so things seem ok to me! Probably people who broke the rules wrote that stuff...I think you should check it out for yourself!

DONT RENT!!! Not unless you want your car stolen!!!!

This apartment it a horrible and unsafe place to rent! The previous staff were very professional and on top of things with tenants!!!! The property has gone down hill DRASTICALLY when it was bought by other owners. My girlfriend's car was STOLEN and no none bother to communicate or send out warning flyers to tenants to help them be informed!!!! The lame excuse I got was that they did not want to alarm the tenants and cause craziness. Our safety comes first; people should know...That's why there has been several police officers coming through.. If you are thinking of renting here good luck!!!! Your car is not SaFE!!!!! I have warned all my friends and colleagues!!!

The apartment walls are very thin. As stated earlier, I live on the bottom unit. The insulation is very poor. Whenever I get home, I have to constantly crank up the heater that I bought because the one that they provided for the living room was useless for heating up that much space. It's a small electric space heater mounted into the wall. The parking has gotten outrageous since I moved in. If you don't come back from work or errands by 8:30 PM, yes I said 8:30 PM, you'll be parking 2 to 3, maybe 4 blocks away from your unit. The weekends are even worst. When I moved in the covered parking spots were $25, but with they increase of cars in the parking lots, they have increased it to $35 a month. Also, don't let the gate fool you into having a false sense of security. Random cars will tailgate into the complex or will even park and wait for someone to enter in their access code and drive right on in. Due to the basketball court they have, a lot of people who don't live at the apartment complex come by often. Also, there are is dog feces on the grounds that no one picks up. There's a patch of grass between two parking spots and it gets defecated on often enough. The owner's refuse to pick it up and it seems like the ground maintenance crews refuse as well. It's still there as I write this. One good thing is that my maintenance issues get resolved quickly (I've only had two). The staff and maintenance crews are nice and all, but this place has a lot of physical downfalls that can't be made up through customer service. Frankly speaking, it's a horrible place to call home.

No More Lexington Heights!

The new management team is a bunch of idiots that coundn't care less about the people that live there! Our lease doesn't state anywhere that we would be responsible for having the carpet cleaned when we move out. Well, even though we're leaving the apartment in EXCELLENT CONDITION they're going to charge us $70.00 for carpet cleaning. And if you ever have a question they won't ever have the answer! They'll tell you that they'll call you with an answer, but they NEVER call you back. THEY SIMPLY DON'T CARE ABOUT THE PEOPLE THAT LIVE THERE. EVEN PEOPLE LIKE US THAT WERE NEVER LATE WITH THE RENT EVERY MONTH!!! Do yourself a favor and DON'T waste your money at Lexington Heights!!! This place sucks!!!

NOOOO!

My car got broken in to in the middle of the day, when I was on break from work and only in my apartment for 45 minutes. Not to mention I live right next to the gate and was parked directly in front of the building. They never sent the exterminator when I called an made a work order for one. Instead 1 week after they told me to expect one, they sent the maint. guys to do a spray around the doors. Then got mad at me for having my pet in the house after I had kept her out for 6 days expecting them to show up. Safe to say, the maint. guy sprayed 2 weeks after I asked them to, and the exterminator that I was told to expect never came. My rent was apparently late one month and I had no idea the check had not been received. I was not notified with a notice on my door like they say you would. Never received a phone call. I had no idea until the 17th of that month when I received a notice of eviction IN THE MAIL postmarked for the 15th. I HAD TO PAY an extra $170 ON TOP of the rent for that month because they had failed to notify me of anything wrong. The only reason the they could tell me I was not notified was that "somebody must have taken the paper off your door." Funny. Since I was home that entire day. Basically, they're unorganized and I had paying so much for an apartment that is becoming low-income. I have a few more months...I'll be 9 months pregnant..and I will STILL be moving my butt out of here. The walls are stupid thin. I can hear it everytime the guy above me takes a piss or gets laid. The leaves are EVERYWHERE outside the front door. And are even getting in the apt now. My neighbor's dog shits in front of my patio. The backyard is like a swampland even in the summer. These 1 bedroom apartments are nice...but I would pay maybe $700 a month for them...that is all they are worth. I will say that I do enjoy the kitchen sink. I think its nicer than most places.

we are outta here soon thank goodness I read all of the reviews and yes its true very thin walls and floors(the people upstairs sound like sumo wrestlers on our ceiling)You can hear alot of things through the walls, the units are not that bad inside, but definately not worth the high price. The new management is not that great you think the last management was bad this one does not keep up the grounds like the previous did, and now they have those LARGE GREEN FOR LEASE ------ SIGNS UP EVERYWHERE I SMELL DESPERATION BUT CHECK THIS OUT they only gave us 95.00 deduction off our rent if we where to stay after being here for two years (and we are great tenants no problems and rent on time) from 1195 a month down to a whopping 1100, and the same unit on the brochure is not even close to that price, what a rip off... so if you want overpriced noisey living this is the place to be
