Additional Charges and hiking up rent on long-term residents

I loved living at Lexington Heights for the first 2 years I was there, however, when the most recent management company took over, that all changed. They changed billing policies for water/sewer/trash without telling me, so when I moved out I was left with a rather large bill to pay them. They also started charging every new resident to the community $200 less than I was paying for the same unit. I was out of my lease and they were only offering me a $25 discount to continue living there. They even had the audacity to quote potential new residents the extremely low rent while I was sitting in their office while discussing how much I owed. When I moved out, they charged me over $120 in unpaid rent and month to month fees. I paid my rent in full and on time every month that lived there, including the month to month fees while looking for a better place to live. I have now found a much better place to live...it is in Redmond and I pay the exact same amount for a 2 bedroom/ 2 bathroom (at Lexington, I lived in a 1 bed one bath). I think the management company that now owns Lexington Heights is about the most incompetent group of people I have ever met in my life. Each time have filed complaints about erroneous charges, they send me an e-mail saying that they will "investigate the situation" and will get back to me, however they never respond to my issues and instead slapped my with a fine after move out. I am considering just paying the money so never have to deal with them again. I would like to report them to some sort of higher authority, so if anyone knows what steps I have to do to report their behavior, please respond to this post. To anyone who thinks of living at Lexington Heights, stay away! The two previous companies to own the property (Riverstone and Metric) are great, so I would recommend looking at one of their properties. I am currently living in an Avalon community and they are amazing as well. Stay away from Lexington Heights!

    Lexington Heights has horrible management

I lived at Lexington Heights and was dissapointed with many things including the awful management staff. One of the appeals of the complex was the gated community. Unfortuantely 8 out of the 11 months I lived there the gate was broken and stayed open. When it was working the exit gate was always left open which defeats the purpose of the gate. The Management staff also could not figure out how to program my code into the gate system so everytime I wanted to enter the complex I had to call my phone to buzz myself in. I also had ants in my apartment which was on the second floor. They let an exterminator into my apartment with out my permission and sprayed while my dog was inside which I had specifically requested that they don't do. When I was ending my lease the management staff was incompetent and rude. When I requested the contact info for the Management Co the apartment manager refused to give me their name and contact info. She said I was not allowed to speak with her boss to file a complaint. I was also give inccorrect info from front desk staff on multiple occassions 3.- -*6 36333333333333333333333333n multiple occasions. I would not reccommend Lexington Heights to anyone.

BE CAREFUL when you move out!!!

parkings is horrible, walls are super thin, move-out is a HORRIBLE process... for anyone thinking of moving out please please talk to management before hand. I cleaned the apartment spotless when I moved out. They charged me a cleaning fee. When I called to ask why I was charged a cleaning fee, they said they charge EVERYONE who moves out. Even if the apartment is spotless, THEY WILL CHARGE YOU A CLEANING FEE because they have to have their own company come and clean it. Pretty ridiculous, I didn't have time to fight it, although I know I would've gotten by money back if I did. Just want to warn any RESIDENTS PLANNING TO MOVE OUT, GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING.

        New management is the WORST

I lived here for 2 years. Management has changed 3 times in the time I lived there. I moved out in July and I was glad to be leaving. Parking was a nightmare and I was Towed from my own spot and was not reimbursed for the mistake that was made. That was a $400 mistake. Then to add insult to injury when the new management came in they were rude and very unhelpful. We decided to move into a house and no renew our lease. They tried to tell me I had to pay a full month's rent because "They didnt do Mid-Month leases" which my lease clearly states my move out date. Finally they agreed to not fight me on this. I got the carpets cleaned before I moved out by professionals and also cleaned the house well enough I would be comfortable to eat off the floor. And to my suprise I got a letter on my door step that said I owed $700 for new carpet in the apartment. There was NO way the carpet needed to be replaced and that I should be responsible for the carpet after living there for 2 years, had it professionally cleaned, and had my car towed from its proper parking space. I hot no problems with this apartment complex until the new management. The new management refuses to return calls, help you fix problems, and they cant seem to communicate or answer questions unless you want to sign a new lease. I have never in my live been so furious with a management company. I will never tell ANYONE to live at Lexington Heights. I use to rave about the apartment complex...now it is Section 8 housing and they dont care what kind of people live there. They just want to collect rent from someone. It is not a safe place anymore. I know of places on the 1st floor that have been broken into and there are coyotes that live on the back wall and nothing was done to get rid of them. The new management is absolutely useless.

          Do Not Live Here

The apartment management is TERRIBLE! If you have any complaints, nothing gets taken care of EVER! We have been here for a year and a half and the people up stairs are constantly running, stomping, and screaming on a daily basis. We have literally complained over 30 times and absolutely nothing has been taken care of. They even gave them a 10 day notice to comply and they sure have not complied, but still continue to piss us off EVERY SINGLE DAY!! The floors and walls are paper thin, the paint on the walls doesn't repel anything..you can literally touch the walls and it will leave a mark. The "gated communty" isn't really secure, the gate doesn't work, and there are no other fecnes around the property line. Anyone can walk in here any time they want. I have seen vehicles vandalized, broken into, and have heard of a few being stolen. The gym doesn't have any good (or working for that matter) equipment, the heater for the whole main building pours heat into the tanning room, the pool is poorly maintained; in fact they had to close the pool down last summer on the hottest days because the pH balance was off so bad the health inspector shut it down. The apartments are over priced for how cheaply they are built; you don't get ANYTHING included in the outrageous rent. Water, sewage, garbage, electricity, all out of pocket. The only good thing about this place is the maintenance crew who are all pretty chill. Our lease is soon to be up and we are NOT re-signing, nor are we ever recommending this place to anyone for any reason

            Great Place!

I have read most of the negative reviews about this place and I really don't see what those people are talking about. From the beginning Nicole in the office was very thorough, sweet, nice, professional, and very helpful. We moved in on a Saturday and Nicole noticed a few things that were not done by maintenance. She made note, apologized, and had maintenance there the next day! I will find out his name and edit this but he was very nice and had everything fixed up in no time at all. I have come home at different times of the day and night and never have an issue finding a parking spot within 8 spots of my building. So far my neighbors mind their own business and the people I have seen with pets are very respectful and clean up after their pets. We love it here, the apartments are very spacious. One time I could hear our neighbors t.v. through the wall but it was something like 3a.m. and I could barely hear it. I really have no complaints whatsoever about Lexington Heights. I also read complaints about the front gates not working. I think that is an interesting complaint for two reasons. First, the gates are to remain open the majority of the time, I think they are supposed to close at 9p.m. Second, anyone that wanted to get in if the gates were working would simply have to wait for a car to come up the hill and open the door. Locks are for honest people and if you just follow basic safety rules you will be fine. Nicole also let me know that the company that works on the gate is out of California and will be out to fix the gate asap. We found this place by accident and I am so glad we did. I can easily see us living here for at least 3 years.

Its Renton... saying that this place is GREAT!

I'm so suprised by these 2 star ratings. I have lived in a 2br at lexington for 3 yrs now and just left to be closer to work. I would not have left if it weren't such a drive. We ALWAYS have enough parking for our two cars and friends when they visit. I have rarely had to park somewhere besides right in front of my building and that was mostly when I came home after 11 or 12. The apartment complex is not updated with granite countertops but all the drawers open well and have even shelves, you have a full size w/d and the bedroom sizes are decent! Only down side I experienced was the heat in the livingroom never seemed to heat us all the way through without being on forever. The clubhouse is wonderful you will not find a clean, new basketball court or weight room anywhere else. Plus free tanning! the pool is awesome in the summer and has a great view. The office staff is nice and they try. My negative reviews of this apt is that the office staff did change a few times and the current ones never seem to communicate to one another or make notes in your account. Always had to retell the story to the next one. I also got 3 overdue notices in my 3 years that were all their mistakes and miscalculations but, they fixed it right away. I always had great neighbors who were quiet and respectful. The garbage and recycling are close to every apt and they are never full. I would definitely recommend lexington to anyone moving into renton. Its close to everything you need including the freeway! there is no apt in the area that compares... (side note: the hill by Group health was never a problem to get down in the snow storms!)

                Too Noisy!

I've lived at lexington heights for almost two years, I will definatly NOT be renewing my lease. The walls are so thin, you can hear everything your neighbors are doing. The staff is very nice, they agree on issues that you have but don't fix the problem. I've been trying to get them to fix a problem for 5 months! It's still not fixed. I guess my next step is writing an official letter. If you want to hear everything your neighbors are doing then this is the perfect place for you, but I like my peace and quite so I will be moving.

                  Good place for insomniacs

The parking here is bad. It was rare that I could park within 100 yards of my apartment. There are spots which you can't tell are occupied if the person pulls all the way forward, until you are right on top of the spot. And of course, those are at dead ends, so you have to turn around... Noise from 3rd drove me insane. It is awesome waking up at 2:30 in the morning to the sound of someones engine winding as they race up the hill. The airport and aircraft can occasionally be heard, especially if the wind is right. The grounds are quite vertical. This was a problem the few times it snowed. There was also a security light right outside my bedroom window which was much to bright, and added to my road noise induced insomnia. I ended up moving my bed to the living room and making my bedroom the living room. That was the only way to get some sleep. The good about the apartments: they are huge. Also, there is a very nice breeze through the apartment if you open all of the windows in the summer. The bad: the apartments have no insulation. Don't believe me? Next time you are looking at apartments, and it is less than 50 degrees outside, press your hand against the walls and windows and see how cold it is. This works with the fridge/freezer as well. My electric bill quadrupled in the winter because of this. You can also hear EVERYTHING your neighbors say. The ones beside you, the ones below you, and the ones above you too. Add to this a floor that squeaks with every single step you take. Add to this that the neighbor above has a squeaky floor. SEE THE APARTMENT BEFORE YOU LEASE! Not a similar apartment, but the very apartment. A definite must in this complex. I called maintenance on several occasions. They were working on it within 90 minutes, even on a holiday. The staff played around with the rent. The price I leased the apartment for was about $150 more than they quoted me over the phone 3 weeks before I went in in person. I tried to negotiate it lower (which you should try to do no matter where you go, it can't hurt to try) but was unable to. At the time, it still seemed like the best value, however.

                    Polite but apathetic leasing staff!

I convinced my boyfriend and myself that the pleasant staff, above average apartment fixtures and gated community justified the high rent. I was wrong! The staff is gracious while you sign the lease and from that point on they're polite but incredibly apathetic. They do not bother to put a sign up when they are showing an apartment or decide to leave early for the day. They do not respond to requests for assistance with your paid for parking spots - in fact they often inquire if you bothered to leave your message on the emergency line as if you might be dim-witted. Meanwhile, in the past two years I have left numerous messages on the emergency line and usually do not hear back at all, once however they did call me about 15-hours later... good thing I wasn't calling to report a gas leak as I'd be dead. Likewise if you complain about noise, overflowing trash debris or the snow & ice (winter of 2006-2007) the leasing staff will agree with you yet continue to make no effort to fix the issue. The maintenance staff is wonderful, they do good work and are always pleasant. However you have to rely on the leasing staff to schedule the maintenance and often this takes several requests before they remember. My final warning to potential renters would be the handling of deposits. I moved from one apartment to another within the complex last year in an effort to get away from loud, disrespectful, overbearing neighbors that the complex chose not to deal with... I left my last apartment sparkling, even steam-vacuumed the carpets, yet I only got a very minimal portion of my deposit back. Furthermore I was required to put a deposit on the new apartment while I had to wait for the first apartment's deposit to be processed - this took one month! Despite the leasing manager's vow that this was standard, it is not the standard of all apartment's - some apartment management staff will work with renters rather than try to take you at every chance!!!

                      Don't move here

Everything people are saying on here is absolutely true. The office help is a bunch of -------. I've never seen a place where people are rude to the customers they are supposed to be helping. They just flat out don't care. Amber is rude, and very sarcastic, unless you're a cute man or a girl she has befriended. Michelle will agree with everything you say, be sweet to your face and then not remember a thing she has said to you. Get everything she says in writing or you're out of luck. The other girl, she's following in Amber's footsteps. Seriously though, if you people don't like your jobs, then move on. Why are you leasing agents so rude when customer service is the number one aspect of your jobs?? If I walk into a store or an apartment complex and people are rude to me, I'm out the door immediately. My money spends the same everywhere and no one should put up with mean people. Imagine if you wanted to rent a place at Lex and someone with your attitude greeted you? Would you be willing to fork over thousands of dollars to live there? I think not. Its very simple, treat people the way you want to be treated!!!! As far as the rest of the complaints go - yes, parking is a nightmare, the gates rarely work, forget using the gym or weight room, and the tanning bed should just be closed, I dont think the bulbs have ever been changed. In all reality, there is no club house extra's. I've seen other complexes that have fabulous work out facilities, clean pools (ours is green most of the time), and management that doesn't fake being nice to you or simply is rude from the start. Amber needs an attitude adjustment. If she worked for me, she would already have been fired. Your tenants pay your salary...try to not forget that. Stop being so mean about the people who live in your complex. Pehaps you could all take a class in the proper behavior of managment and maybe if you get slapped with a discrimination suit for your racist attitudes you will all change the way you behave to people. I've seen the negative remarks when Asians, or black people apply or come into the office. Its disgusting. Bottom line...don't live here.

Most of what people say here is true. The gates were broken for a long time, though they work now. The building materials AND repairs are extremely shoddy. The shelves aren't even real shelves. The ------ kids DO come up from the complex below and management will do NOTHING ABOUT IT. In fact, if you have to deal with management just shoot yourself. They're disorganized, unsympathetic, and have just all around bad attitudes. Further, they are completely unconcerned with the difficulties you as a tenant will have with ice on the roads. They will do absolutely nothing to fix it. The sun has to do it. Also, if you have a pet they not only charge a huge pet deposit they up your monthly rent. Nor do the units have microwaves. The gym is a joke -- 2 treadmills and 1 (that's right, just one) dumbell. You can't use the bball court as there are 30 thugs in it at any given time. I've never used the pool. But it's really not noisy in either unit I've been in and one building had no parking while the other always has great parking. Oh yeah, they DON'T GIVE YOU A SPOT! This is the first apt I've been in that didn't give each unit a dedicated covered space. Further, I've seen a tree fall into the driveway, additionally covering a full parking spot, and it took them OVER A WEEK TO GET IT REMOVED. They just seriously don't care. I'd bet that if the current management staff were replaced it would very quickly become a different kind of complex. Possibly even with good reviews. I won't be renewing my lease.

One step above ------ is what I would say. Cheap building materials, thin walls, you can hear everything everyone around you is doing. The complex is very noisy as it sits between 405 and 4th street. The roar from the traffic is horrible. The pool is always filled with kids from the apartments below and above us. The gym is the same way. The girls in the office are okay, but make sure you get everything they say in writing because they tend to not remember. The gates are always broken, so dont let that be any incentive to live here. They sell the view, which in the right apartment is good, but you pay a hefty price for it, and they just did a major raise in the rents and lots of apartments are now empty. This place is a ----- to get in and out of in inclement weather. I've known of two cars stolen from this complex, and parking is an absolute nightmare!!!! There is none..period. I get home around 6, and I end up parking by the office everynight and walking to my apartment. I just dont think its worth the money they charge for rent. They are selling an image, thats about it. My lease is up in April and I'm leaving.

                              No problems for me...great place

I think most of the people on here are ignorant about their lease and apartment living. Yes, all apartments are going to be loud when you have hundreds of people living together so close.

I live in a top floor unit and the only time it is noisy enough to bother me is on a friday night if there are kids hanging out but that is rare. I think I only experienced that a handful of times and one time the police came due to noise violation. Most of the residents are older, working adults because the rent is a bit high so kids can't afford to live here.

Maintenance is great, I had a problem with pigeons hanging out on my balcony and pooping all over my plants and they fixed the problem the same week by installing nets on the eaves above my balcony. My washing machine flooded on Christmas Day and within a couple of hours they had a crew out here to clean up the water and dry the carpets.

The ladies in the office have always been nice to me. I think the people who say they are rude might want to think about how they were acting because when you are nice to others they are nice back, at least that is the norm.

The only problem I have with this place is ------ kids from the apartments across the street sneak into the swimming pool and use the basketball court. During the summer the pool is JAMMED with kids and makes it impossible to enjoy. I swear 90% of the kids in the pool are not residents.

My boyfriend's car was stolen from here, but that can happen at any apartment complex. The security gates at the front entrance have only worked once since I moved in a year ago. I am glad they dont work as when they did non-residents would block the driveway waiting to piggy-back in.

Parking is bad after about 5pm, and worse on the weekends. Sometimes I have to park at the bottom of the complex and walk, but 80% of the time I find a spot close to my place even if I get home late. You can pay for your own parking spot, but I would rather save the money and walk if need be.

I am single now and my lease is up next month and I will renew a lease in a one bedroom here. I feel completely safe as a single woman at these apartments, the interiors are great, it is quiet here (well, my neighbors are quiet, can't speak for the rest of the complex) and the location is 1 minute from the freeway which is great.

I've unofficially lived with my fiance in this complex since Feb. of '06. I've found that parking can be a pain of you get home after 4. (I've even been woken up by tenants screaming at each other over a spot.) When I first started coming here the gates worked a handful of times and were a pain since my boyfriend didn't have a landline and didn't have a way to remote open it. We live in the very back of the complex so it was a pain to have to walk down to the front just to let me in. They promised to have this fixed but never did a thing. Then in the summer of '06 they stopped working altogether. They've been left open ever since then. One of the sidewalk/pedestrian gates was ripped open by someone and never fixed. They finally removed it, so now it's just open.
We've had issue with the lights outside on the sidewalks. Ours went out about three months ago and hadn't been fixed. It's our own fault and that of the other tenants in our building for not writing out a work order sooner. But I kept hoping maintenence would just handle it. I've called a second time as of today to get it fixed so we'll see what happens.
We also have done a resident referral but haven't gotten the referral reward that is advertised. One of my good friends moved into our building in Sept. and we have been told that it's something that is taken care of through the corporate office. They haven't said anything else since. Our lease is up in Feb. and we're hoping to have it before that happens. I know that to some $500 dollars isn't much. But we're trying to plan a wedding and every little bit helps.

My only other real complaint is the snow and ice. There has not been any kind of safety precaution taken to de-ice the sidewalks or clear ice from the roadways. Cars tend to pile up and block the entrance because they can't make it up the hill. I have this problem as I have a rear-wheel drive car. So I'm either forced to stay home from work for a week at a time or try to brave the hill and hope I don't total my only transportation. Even two or three days after all the roads are clear there will still be a scary amount of ice and slush on the hill in the complex. It's a very scary issues trying to get out to your car when they haven't cleared any of the sidewalks or walkways either.

I know everything I've just written has painted an awful picture of these apartments. However, I have enjoyed living here. The ladies in the office have always been nice and I know they know I'm not on the lease and technically I shouldn't be there. So especially considering this, they've been very tolerant and pleasant. In my opinion the grounds are well kept. I only see our little area though and our neighbors seem to be pretty clean. The garbages overflow on occasion but mostly, things are pretty clean all around. We've seen a lot of people come and go all around us. We've had really loud people above us and some that are quieter and less noticeable. Mostly though things are just fine. I've liked living here and on the whole it's been much nicer than the other apartments I've lived in.

horrible management!

The management refused to stay open even for 10 mins later than their normal hours for all parties to be present to sign the lease, which should have been the first clue that this was going to be a terrible mangament team. Within the first month we discovered ants in our apt and called the leasing staff and was told it no big deal go get some ant spray and clean your apt and you won't have the problem. Needless to say we raised hell until somebody finally agreed to come take care of the problem. It then took them 3 weeks to get pest control to the apt. They were unwilling to compensate us for the ant problem which they tried to blame on us, by saying we have an apt that isn't clean. Which when i talked to the pest guy the ants were coming in thru concrete to escape the heat not for food, aside from the fact that i keep and immpecable house. The ants returned 2 more times and it was just as much of a struggle to get them to call the pest control guy back as it was the first time.

To get a maintence guy to come to the apt to fix anything is ridiculous i have a better chance of finding the needle in a haystack.

The apt is not worth the money at all I have had to call the maintence to fix my sink, door, bathroom light that fell out of the fan on top of me while standing below it, the ant and spider problem, the draft rooms and living rooms.

I have literally talked with the district manager more than 15 times in order to take care of the attitude any tenant recieves from the leasing staff or any problems with my apt because the leasing staff refuses to take care of them.

The garbage dumpsters overflow on frequent basis its disgusting. The so called security gate never works and hlaf the time the equiptment in the work out facility is broken.

Their is no sound proofing between apts, so i can hear everything going on in the apt above me. Which i have complained about because there is traffic coming and going from that apt at all hours of the night screaming stomping and slamming of doors and yet the leasing office refuses to do anything. I have actually called the cops becuase the leasing office hasn't done anything.

                                    A note to apartment hunters

My roommate and I went to view Lexington Heights on our apartment search. First off I had to say hello to them before they would get off their butts to intorduce themselves. I thought it was the other way around? We asked to veiw a 2 or 3 bedroom and as the Assistant Manager went to get the keys she said they were checked out by a vendor. I know they have more units to show including a model that I have seen once before but she did not want to take the time to walk over there!

Usually they only show their true colors after move-in. I guess not here they let you know right away! To back up the noise complaints fro current tenants.. it was noisy as we where driving up too. We ended up walking around the cabana ourselves as she watched from her office window.

Good first impression huh? We ended up moving to another apartment in Renton that was impressive from the start and still is. They rated 76% on this site.

awful, rude management- horrible place to live

yes, the grounds and facilities look very nice, but they are not. the units are put together using cheap materials, and upon taking a closer look, grounds maintenance is not up to par. there is constantly litter and trash around my apartment. i live on the first floor, and can hear EVERY SINGLE ONE of my neighbors, it drives my roommate and myself crazy!! and on top of it all, every single person who works in the leasing office is rude as hell!! they were all super nice during the application process, but the second you're in and your lease is signed, they are hopelessly rude and evil and absolutely no help at all. I even tried contacted a district manager through their management company (metreic props) and can't get a return phone call from anyone. if you want to keep your sanity, don't move here. the second my lease is over, i am long gone from this place!! oh, and yes, parking is awful, even if you pay for a carport, other ppl constantly take you spot and don't care. and even though there is a gate, it is constantly broken, and there is a smaller walk-thru gate on the side so car theifs still come in. my friend had their car stolen the first month i lived here, and of course the ------- in the leasing office were NO help at all, they didn't even care. OVER-PRICED!!!!! don't waste your money and find something for half the price down the street.

The place sells itself. It is very beutiful. I had a view of the lake, downtown seattle, and boeing. I really liked it, but the management was terrible. I've always paid my bills on time but at this apartment complex my money was miss placed. At one point I went to the office to question why my check has not been cashed and it has been three months. A staff pulled it out of her desk all wrinkled and claimed it was because she didn't know whether the apartment number was a S or 5. In my opinion that makes no sense because none of your apartments start with a 5. Think really hard to see if you really want to spend your hard earn money for this expensive place.

I have lived here about a year. The comments about the noise is very true, it's bad, parking is terrable. The "security" gates have only worked a handfull of times since I moved in. Then there is the water and sewer, the monthly total is divided by the number of apartments. This means that even though I live alone I pay the same as 4 people living in a larger apartment using 4 times the resources. My lease is up in a couple months, I will not renew.

I have lived here and there before I relocated to Washington. If you are in by 7pm in spring or summer time you will find parking. I do agree with people who wrote here about no sound proof. You can hear next door Neg. taking showers, flushing toliet, laughing really loud, etc. Plus, if you don't live on top floor... you will hear whoever is walking on top of you. I think it's just poorly constructed. I think managers are nice over all.. They try, come on. If you have family, I dont think it's bad to raise at all. Control gate works about 60 % of time. They better fix that walkway control access. Those people who live down there comes up to our apartment for swimming pool and so on... ewww.... Anyway I would recommend this place if you are not a light sleeper.

Terrible experience overall. Parking is an absolute joke, had to pay to have a guaranteed parking spot. Come home from work to find it filled with someone else's car. Complain to management on 4 different occasions and nothing happens. Other tenants that car pool will have their friends park in the parking lot so that there are no open spaces when you, the paying tenant, does not have a place to park. Many neighbors see it fit to do burn outs in the parking lot or play the music in their car very loud at 3 AM. Gates at the front of the complex never work, almost always stuck open, or like this morning they were stuck closed. Walls and ceiling are paper thin so I can hear everything my neighbors say or do. Not fun when the ones upstairs are constantly getting into drunken fights or the baby next door is crying. Neighbors downstairs are smokers and it stinks up our whole apartment. Only redeeming factor is its proximity to Southcenter or the major freeways. Not recommended, but still better than the ones in front of it.

The top floor apartment was fine, but there is very poor construction on these units and the floor of the apt above me now is so squeaky that I am awakened every night when she gets up to go to the bathroom, even though I sleep with ear plugs and a fan on. I have never had any other problems, but I will NOT be renewing my lease!
