do not live here
these apartments are horrible..no parking, noise is everyhere, management lies to you, kids run all over the place and the workout room is a joke. the equipment is old, doesn't work and its so hot in there you can't breathe. No tv,nothing, just old noisy squeaky equipment. The gym does nothing but attract tons of outsiders to come play hoops at night which makes parking even worse. I've had to park 3 sections away from my door when I get home from work. If you want an assigned place, you have to pay for it. so...for 1050, you get a noisy apartment, no parking, crappy management, no workout area, and you pay your own water and sewer!! Enjoy! I can't wait for my lease to be up..I should have never came to this place...they lied to me when I did my visit about how quiet the apartments were. They show you a furnished apartment all nice and quiet...don't buy it!!!<br>

Living here is bad mgmt is bad apt is bad when we moved in it was so dirty and nasty I couldn't believe they let us see the apt in that condition. Mgmt turnover is normal since when I lived there I had 4 managers in one year at these apt. Parking is terriable and if you live downstairs just know your going to hear everything. Plus our fire palce leaked all over the floor during a rain storm and it took them a week to fix the problem. I couldn't wait to leave this place a year was too long.

Too many problems to make it worth the high rent...sorta upper ------...
I've lived here two years, and will be leaving when my lease is up in April. Every complex has good and bad, that just comes with people in general, however, as with most people you want your money's worth. The rent is high here, supposedly because this is nicer establishment. Don't let the outside looks fool you. Its just an apartment complex. It has the usual thin walls, (yes you can hear your neighbors conversations, peeing in the toilets and when the celing fans below you run, it a interrupting roar.)Parking is terrible, unless you want to pay even more for a covered spot. You will pay your own water, sewer and garbage, and forget asking about where the meter is located to check your usuage, you pay a "divided bill" amongst the tenants in your building. I live alone, my water bill has been as low as 40 bucks and as high as 80. So I pay for water that a large family living in the 3 bedroom uses. There are no extra's here. The gym is used by the neighbor hood thugs and Asian gangs at all hours. The exercise equipment doesn't work, and if it did would you want to be in there with the clientele in the gym? The pool is green, and the hot tub rarely works. Yes the view is fabulous, but at what cost is it worth, really. If there is snow, or very cold morning, getting in and out of this place is impossible. The overflow drains keep the parking lot wet and when its cold its nothing but solid ice. I'm sure the place would be liable if you injured yourself on it, but good luck getting anyone to do anything about it. Office staff is unprofessional, period. The girl with the long hair makes racist comments about Asians, ------ and anyone she doesn't want to deal with. The manager will smile, be nice and tell you everything you want to hear, but you'd best get it in writing, and even then good luck. I dont know if they are overworked or just in the wrong place for work, but they all need to go. Night security - they claim we have it, but I've never seen them. When the partying in the pool goes on all night, and people are climbing over the fence to get into the pool area at 2am, security is no where to be found. The gates make you think its a secure place, but please, just look around the neighborhood. Plus, remember, anyone can piggy back in on someone else, and they will be sitting there just waiting for you to come in and they follow you right through the gate. (if they are even working!!) Its a pretty normal apartment complex, the only problem is they try to pass it off as being something more to justify the high rent, and its not. So, its up to you if want to pay more just to live someplace that looks better from the outside. Inside, they are cheap apartments. They have the cheapest appliances, thinnest walls, (I'm tired of listening to the peoples dog below me back everytime a car drives by or someone closes a door...dont' bother saying anything to management, complains fall on def ears) and very thin carpeting. Oh, and they tell you you get a free carpet cleaning with each lease renewel, but good luck. I've not had mine cleaned in two years and I've asked over and over. So...personally, I've had enough and will be moving. We'll see what happens with my deposits and how professional the staff is (or not) when I leave. Stay tuned, I'll post more.

I've been living here for a long time. I have always been satisfied, till recently. I'm not sure what happened, but they started changing their staff. And now, their present staff is a pain to deal with. Of all the places, I have lived at, I never had this problem. I was threatened that if I did not come by a certain time, I would have to pay certain penalties. <br><br>So, if you want to save yourself some headaches, and pain in your lease or lease renewal, wait till they get a more friendly staff before you decide to move in here.

Happy here
I've lived here for 3 years and have enjoyed it. Maintenance issues (though few) have been dealt with within 24 hours, although it's usually within only a few hours! One of the newer office staff isn't too friendly, but the others are very helpful and courteous. The buildings are kept in good shape, the landscaping is nice and there is plenty of parking. It's too bad the management discontinued the monthly gift basket; that was a good incentive, even though I never won!

The management here is awful. They NEVER return my calls or emails. I've been trying to fix one problem with our lease paperwork for 4 months and no one has fixed it yet. We're out of here when our lease is up.

Overall - Great Aprtment!! Repair skill needs to be improved.
I have been living here for 1 and half year. Safe neighborhood, but car was broke into a few times inside the property, not mine though.<br><br>When I moved in, I often saw courtesy PD patrol cars inside property. I was even asked to prove that I am a resident here when I followed front car during the night when the gate is closed. Yes, this property has gated access, but the gate broke a few times and had been left broken for a few weeks. Fixing broken lights took almost 2 weeks when I asked. It seems fixing things cannot be done fast.<br><br>When I needed repair around bath tub because of black mold, they responded fast, but repair was so poor that the mold wasn't removed and the maintenance person left dirty soil stain on the carpet and inside the bathroom.<br><br>The quality of repair may be going down hill? or was alredy little poor?<br>I cannot be sure cuz I only needed those repairs within last 6 months.<br><br>But, property maintenance is great.<br>Maintenance people work hard to keep property clean.<br>Building itself is very nice.<br><br>I have never heard neighbor's loud noise. Only downstair neighbor's dog bark which wasn't everyday or all the time, and I didn't mind.<br>The wall is thick enough that I've never received any complaints about listening music loud. (It's not that I do it often.)<br><br>Enough parking space for your friends to park when there is space.<br>Air in the room circulates very well.<br>Nice view from certain building. You can even see part of Seattle July 4th fire works.<br><br>Beside, itfs very close to I-405, but no noise from its traffic.<br>Close access to grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants, school and so on.<br><br>All these things are totally depend on "which" building you will be moving in...<br>See other comments, you'll hear the exact reversed opinion of what I've just wrote.<br><br>"I" recommend Lexington Heights Apartment!! :)

The staff is great
I just moved in here about a month ago and I think it's wonderful. My leasing consultant Tia was nice, helpful and classy. I read the last review where the person stated that the staff is always busy talking on there phones, but I've never seen that. I do notice them very busy, but it's always to the benefit of us!<br>I love Lexington Heights and I've referred it to all my friends!

Not the worst... but probably the best in the area.
Renton is not known for its "class", so with that being said these apartments are pretty good. There ARE nicer apartments (Bristol, Cedar River, Bella Vista...)but they will cost more. <br>Online and in apartment brochures they list the prices way higher than they actually are. It can make you not want to look. They really aren't that bad. If you pay any less you will be in the ------. <br>They DO try to sell themselves as "luxury apartment homes" but they don't quite fit the bill. I know they try, but they aren't that wonderful.<br>On a scale from 1-10 (considering the area and price range) they are an 8.<br>They did try to make them semi-designer (arches, slate, white 6-panel doors, newish appliances, silver hardware, decent lighting...). <br>There are a lot of young (18-30) people so that makes for louder neighbors. They stay up late so you hear them walking around all hours. Loud music more often. And more people per apartment, each with a car = no parking.<br>There are few children. I've never seen so few kids. This can be a plus if you don't have any.<br>The biggest complaints:<br>1. NO parking!!!!! It's horrible. The worst.<br>2. I can hear my upstairs neighbors pee. There is NO soundproofing. VERY squeaky floors!<br>3. Bugs. It is true about the bugs. Not so much spiders for me personally (I have never seen one), but others for sure. These earwig/silverfish things (they are so nasty)and strange little speckled critters that live in your kitchen cabinets. I have never seen either anywhere else (some Lexington Heights hybrids?). <br>4. Security gates my ---. I have had to let droves of people in (they just sit there until someone comes. One time I had to let 5 cars in!) just so I can get in.<br>5. Dogs. They have NO breed restrictions. HUGE, GIANT, LOUD dogs are very common here. I feel super bad for these poor dogs having to be locked up in these tiny apartments. I also feel bad for the neighbors having to hear the deep barks all hours of the day/night. The owners may pick up the poop (not all do this) , but they do not fill in the holes/ replace the grass the rip apart.<br>6. Nasty old beater cars in the parking lot taking up valuable space. Most tenants have nice/ok/lovely vehicles but some are disgusting to say the least. This one car was in the same spot for over 7 months. It really pissed me off.<br>7. They DO NOT clean the apartments before you move in. When I was first looking I viewed a few apartments and not a single one was "clean". Toothpaste spatter on the bathroom mirrors, dust everywhere, unswept & unvacuumed floors (pet urine stains. I guess they leave it up to the previous tenants (completely).<br>That was pretty much all the bad stuff. I know that apartments are generally temporary housing: for young people, people that just moved to the area, and people that cannot afford a home/have poor credit and can't get a loan. What I'm getting at is that apartments are for renters, not owners. People will never take as much pride in something they do not own. There is little respect for "public areas" in the complex, resulting in these areas being damaged or dirty. This is true for all Apartments and the management at Lexington Heights tries to keep the complex looking its best. <br>Remember I gave them a score of 8. Even though I listed several negative things I like many things about where I live.<br>1. They are really cute. Every guest I have had over really likes the appearance. <br>2. Large washer and Dryer in apartment.<br>3. Private location. <br>4. Nice views.<br>5. Lovely landscaping.<br>6. Lots of parties for tenants.<br>7. Affordable. They are MUCH nicer than other complexes in the area. You get what you pay for. Trust me I did a ton of research. They aren't so bad.<br>8. Close to everything. Awesome location. I hate Renton but it IS centrally located. You feel a bit isolated from the "ickyness" that is Renton in these apartments.<br>9. Safe. Only one time did I feel unsafe. It was not long after I moved in, a car was broken into OUTSIDE the gates in the neighboring apartments. <br>See! There are plenty of good things to say :) <br>Overall I would say MOVE IN. They are decent apartments. No place is perfect :)<br>

yikes
I really like living here, a clean semi-wannabe upscale community, the manager is the nicest woman I think i've ever came across but behind that lovely smile lies her assistant manager witch, not sure her name but you'll know her when you see her,get her some ship-rope to floss her teeth with. She is so freaking rude and unprofessional and she acts like shes in a soap opera,I don't understand why she feels the need to volunteer people's personal information to all other residents!I mean yes, create a bond with your residents, but don't backstab them and turn us on eachother.I guess some people feel the need to obsess over other people's business. In any case the community appearance is good, too many young punks that like to race around, might as well take the gate away. But all in all,the manager here is the ONLY reason I feel good here, and for that reason alone I will stay. <br>

Rude & Unprofessional
This is a nice community and the manager and the leasing gal are the sweetest things! The new assistant is a horrible nightmare! She is rude, unproffessional and swears like a sailor around tenants. She tols my neighbors my personal business and violated my privacy rights. I feel sorry for the two other people that have to work with her. She has taken this from a nice environment to feeling like the local bar scene!

I like it so far
I´ve lived here fore 5 months so far and am happy with my experience. My boyfriend and I have a two bedroom on the ground floor and have never had a bug problem. We have a dog and by every big garbage can there are bags for you to use to pick up your dogs messes. The residents are nice, whenever I walk my dog people are always talking to me and petting my dog. I never hear noise from my neighbors, which is nice. I actually had my car stolen from the parking lot. Which is unusual for this building. The office staff was really great about it. They changed my apt. locks for free, got me a covered spot for cheaper and were very nice about everything. They office also has free faxing and internet usage. I didn´t think that I would ever use it, but I have and it is great. <br> <br>The only problem I did have is parking. If you don´t want to pay for a spot, there is pretty much never parking outside you building, you have to walk from far away. Also, they have no control over which car lives there and which doesn´t so a tenent could be having a party and their friends could take up 20 spots and no one would know and other tenents would have to park far away. <br> <br>The people here have it good here. We actually found this place by mistake. We were looking at Brighton Ridge and found this place thinking it was Brighton Ridge. We looked at Brighton Ridge and left feeling unsafe and out of place. We came back here just to look at Lexington Heights and ended up renting here.

A nice place to live
We have been here for almost three years. The place has changed a bit in that there were mostly young families and older couples living here when we moved in. In the last year that has changed to many young singles and the parties that normally follow them. We have always had great experiences with the staff and the maintenance group has been excellent. They could use a new security company as the one they use now is really unresponsive and clueless. We never see them patrolling the place at night. We once needed them to quiet a party that was going on in the building and we got an answering service. <br> <br>The grounds are always well kept ant clean and we feel very safe in the place regardless of the security company´s inequities. The panoramic views of the area from the grounds are beautiful and there is plenty of convenient shopping etc. All in all, we have been happy here.

Priced too high for what you get.
The "security" gate is a joke. It´s usually broken and propped open. Crowds of people from the neighborhood walk through the pedestrian gate (which is never locked) and hang around the gym, pool, and basketball court. The people are kind of scary looking too so you don´t feel comfortable being there even if you could by some miracle find one of gym machines free. The rent is high and you´re paying for the amenities and security, which are nonexistant. The grounds are well maintained and some of the views are nice, but the apartments are very VERY small. They charge a higher than normal fee of $45.00 just for a parking space. Don´t count on the free spaces unless you don´t mind walking up the steep hill with your groceries or whatever. Overall, nice in some aspects, but too expensive for what you end up with.

they are wrong
i used to live next door to them with the spiders they lived on a bottom floor and always complained about everything they told me that they liked it they got evicted because they had loud parties. The office is very friendly and i have never had any problems with them they were always open, and as for loud cars i dont know what they are talking about because i never heard anyone. <br> <br>the only reason that i moved is because i bought a house out of state. If i didnt do that i would still be there

SURE, IF YOU LIKE SPIDERS!
My lease just ended and for that I am thankful, over the 1 year period we lived there, we had tiny wallworms (I still don´t know what that means) and major spider issues!!!! My roomate and I had to stay at different houses for one week due to the amount of spiders in our home and the slow response from maintenance (with no discount off rent mind you)! Also, parking was awful, the tanning bed seems like the bulbs have never been replaced, the gym is constantly filled with people who don´t live there and they take up majority of the parking. <br> <br>The guidelines for moving out are rediculous they basically want you to remodel the apartment for them.. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY TO ANYONE!!

Horrible-avoid!
<br>I only lived here a short time-thank God! <br> <br>The apartment itself was ok-if very small for the price: $900 for a one BR! <br> <br>But the complex is awful. There is no sound insulation-the people above me thudded around like elephants at all hours. Cars raced through the complex. <br> <br>In general, low class, trashy people. <br> <br>The ´gated´ complex is a joke-the gate was broken, and propped open most of the time I lived here.

We will be moving as soon as our lease is up and do not recommend this property.
Property has changed from very nice to mostly single, young, noisy tenants all hours of day and night. Cars peel thru and parking is absolutely impossible. Tenants do not clean up after their dogs which means lots of dog poop all over. Something is always broken; gate, tanning bed, hot tub. Gated property but people jump the fence, ring our apt to be let in late at night and cuss us out when we won´t. We battled bees and ants all last summer. It is very pricy for the quality that it has become.

Convenient, nice neighborhood, Kind of pricey
This is a very well run apartment community. They have a swimming pool, huge gym, meeting hall, computers. The staff is very attentive. If you have a problem they respond very quickly. The grounds are very well kept. You can tell they take pride in their job. The only complaint I do have is all of these luxuries keep raising the rent. I lived there for 2 1/2 years and they raised the rent twice. When we first got there the rent was $750/mo. 1 bedroom then it went to $825 the last time was $950. The apts are very nice but small. I could not justify paying that kind of rent for such a small place.
