Welcoming property

My boyfriend and I recently went to this property to view an apartment, unfortunately they didn't have any 2 bedroom available at the moment but we were so happy with the tour that Crystal gave us, she is very bright, professional and , knowledgeable in regards to this property. As soon as a 2 bedroom becomes available we will be moving into this property. The pools looked very clean and fresh, the play area was very neat and well kept. Cant wait!

Its infested with roaches, and the management just makes fun of you when you request repairs. They always have excuses, like not enough time, budget, or personnel. They rather spend the time and money on repairs outside the buildings, so they look decent

I rated everything 5 star because that is how I feel. Palm Gate is the best and the staff like family. Everyone knows me by name, this is my home. The grounds are clean and well kept. I moved in with my husband to a one bedroom in July of this month, so far the experience has been amazing .. the staff has been very helpful and uplifting, Rosa was the one that gave us a tour of the property we loved the layout of our 1 bedroom unit. palm gate is a perfect place to start out life together, everything has been great so far.Rosa, Sam n Ubaldo are a great team. Maintenance guys are friendly and act fast on any maintenance orders we have had.. I recommend palm gate to anyone who is looking for a nice clean place to call home...

Me and my parents moved in this year and our experience has been very satisfying. Office staff has been great! Rosa has been very informative and is always willing to help us. Samantha is always greeting us with a smile, when we have minor issues the maintenance staff has been prompt in getting the job diligently done. We are very happy with the services we have here at Palm Gate, everyone is so friendly , i definitely recommend coming by and visiting the property ..

I am a tenant at Palm Gate apartments and so far the experience of living here has been fantastic! From the moment we started or application process till the day of move-in tour day-to-day living, sam was great in the move in process and Rosa is great, she's always waving at us and saying hi when she sees us in the property, they are always prompt in answering any questions we have in regards to our apartment. They are super friendly and willing to resolve any issue we might have. Carlos the maintenance guy is great! He's always positive and friendly.. overall The property is well taken care of and we couldn't be happier. We recommend anyone to tour the property we would not be disappointed.

I have been living here for about 10 months now and I am so happy. The manager Ubaldo has been friendly and helpful throughout our residency. Samantha always helps us with a smile in her face. Rosa is always friendly and available to help us with any maintenance issues we might have. All office staff is great and the property is always well kept n clean. So far my experience has been great. This is a great place to live.

By the end of this year, I would be starting my third year living here. I have loved my time here and enjoyed my interaction with the occupants and staff in this community. It is a QUIET, clean, decent, affordable, functional and homely community. I emphasize "quiet" because that is particularly important to me. The occupants are a diverse mix which adds to the beauty of this place. There's a mix of cultures, professional class and age brackets. I'll be honest, the buildings are dated and look that way from the outside. That is because it was built in the '50s. That said, it is aesthetically pleasing with palm trees on either side of the driveway, swimming pools, laundry facilities in every building block, a small playground for kids and adults and little bbq areas. It must have been far ahead of its time when it was built. It is beautiful on the inside. I have one gripe: it does not have gym. Let me guess, gyms weren't popular in the '50s. I have to emphasize the quality of staff at this community. They are, to put it simply, amazing folks. I have seen different folks come and go at that office and each and everyone of them have done their very best to keep this place running. They are friendly, welcoming, helpful and accommodating, and that includes the security service staff too. Ubaldo, Rosa and Samantha currently man the office and David is on security service. Every apartment complex has its issues. That is true wherever you go, no matter how much you pay. What is essential is that you have a team of people who are willing to help. The staff at this community do more than that; they inconvenience themselves to accommodate the residents. I have been a beneficiary of their kindness and not because I enjoy any preferential relationship with any of them, it is just who they are. I hope this helps you make a decision. Come down, talk to the folks here, get a feel for the place, and maybe it'll become your home too.

This is an awesome place to live. The 2 bedroom 1 baths are very spacious. Also the Leasing Staff are completely amazing. They are very informative and helpful throughout the whole application process from beginning to end. They'll try their best to make accommodations if little things are not to your liking. I have been living at Palm Gate Apartments for three years and in the beggining it was terrible but then a new management took over and it has been wonderful ever since. I even upgraded from a one bedroom into a two bedroom because i didnt want to leave the property. Clean pools and clean apartments that are very nicely upgraded. They take care of landscaping and the laundry rooms. They take care of the lots and more importantly they take good care of their tenants. I love living here!!! Thanks to Ubaldo for being a great manager and changing everything at Palm Gates and thank you Samantha and Rosa for always answering the phone being patient and being so imformative.

I want to give praise to Palm Gates Apartments. I needed a place to stay for my cat and myself. Most apartments complex is not pet friendly or just simply look down upon you if you do have a pet. Palm Gates Apartments doesn't treat you that way. I have live here for over a year. I love this place. Apartment manager Ubaldo and his wonderful staff (Samantha and Rosa) are always there to help me with all my living needs. They care a lot on my living situation and also my cat. They are very cool people. Moving in was easy and painless. The office is always open (7 days a week) in which I love. Great place, Great Staff! Great City!

Apartments here are nice and livable however the manager (Paola)is very rude and stuck up.. They also take long to repair any maintenance issues and security is no good, I had my car broken into twice and they only thing they provided for me was the number to the police,no help at all. During the summer not all their pools are open which causes over crowded swimming pools. They have 4 washers for over 30 apts and only 2 of them have worked for the past 7 months..And they threaten to tow ur car from your own spot that you pay for.. Stressful place to live..oh yea and they charge your pet rent,really they do..lol. Thank god my lease was up..js

The office staff provides excellent service. Paola and Cindy are especially helpful. They make the extra effort to help you. Palm Gate Apartments is a gated community and you feel very safe. Rents are reasonable and neighbors are respectful. Maintenance issues are handled promptly and effectively. The maintenance staff is cordial and helpful. If you are looking for a well-managed place, Palm Gate Apartments is one.

It's a great and affordable community to live in,, Stay away from The "F" building especially a lady that goes around getting in everyones business. If anybody has roaches, fleas, or bedbugs it's because that lady carrys them around the community. Not to mention how disgusting it is being in the pool deck and that lady is taking the lice out of her daughters hair. "Management" instead of kicking people out for not paying rent because of a hardship, hours cut at work, death in the family, ect you need to kick out that lady that has meetings in the playground, her dogs are always lose in the property with no leash, she does whatever she wants when she wants and it's annoying! How many warnings does it take to get her out?? Don't be fooled by her nice words! She stole my pearl earings when I let her in my apartment because shes a "housekeeper" for a living,, When my lease is up I'm moving out of this building and hopefully transfer to the farthest building AWAY from her!

First off, parking is horrible. The spaces are really narrow with neighbors who cant park for ----. Our brand new car has scratches and dents on both sides because our neighbors hit the car each time they go in and out of their car. I usually have to let passengers out before I park because they'll hit the other cars if they open their door. My biggest complaint are the kids in the neighborhood. Their parents dont give a crap what their kids do. They're always yelling, cursing, riding their bikes, throwing balls even though signs are up prohibiting such activities. They run up and down the stairway which causes an "earthquake" effect. You seriously feel the apartment shake when they do that. Irresponsible parents = irresponsible kids. When you do put in work orders, expect delays and crew not showing up on time. Also, even when you don't give them permission to come in, they do it anyway. I was upset but didn't look like anything was missing or broken so I just left it. I could tell because we always lock up when we leave and when we got home, only the wood door was locked (just the bottom lock and we have a screen door) the staff is horrible except for Cindy. Oh yeah, bathroom is kind of gross with moulds and bacteria growing. This place would be nice if they offered bigger parking spaces, no ------ people and responsible parents who tells their kids to go home after 8pm. There's also non residents who comes into the property to dig through trash or hang out which is annoying. Glad we moved out months ago.

It s so ridiculous that they let people that get evicted write reviews. I like living here at palm gate apartments, I been here over 4 months and It s a really productive community. I like the fact that I come home after work and not worry about my neighbors being nosey, or having parties! I like how I see security walking around checking for any type of activity., I like that I can request maintenance and when I come home it s done without me being present. Criminal backround checks needed in order to rent THAT S A PLUS! I would definitely recommend it here. I don t have and I ve never seen ANY pests in my unit or Mold issues in my studio. Just because someone gets kicked out doesn t mean you have to believe the reviews, #justsayin

I was soo disappointed on the way my husband and I were treated at Palm Gate Apartments=( I had a schedule tour on Saturday with Maggie, the leasing agent Cindy Lopez assisted us. She was stressed about having several people ready to tour at the same time. There was another lady just sitting in her desk, which I ask her name; Jhoana Gonzalez (Property Manager). I heard the leasing agent informing her there was a lot of people waiting, she Jhoana did not get up to assist us. The manager told us we had to wait for Cindy to tour. It took 23min for the leasing agent to come back to be able to tour, this is NOT acceptable.... It seamed the Manager (Jhoana Gonzalez) did not care how long we waited! Our detail tour took 27min; we noticed people eating at the pool tables, wearing regular clothing inside the pools & playground has a lot of trash. This showed us the manager does not supervise the pools or walk the property. We returned to the rental office and there was people still waiting for the leasing agent to be able to tour. The manager needs to know 1st impressions matters! What kind of customer service should we expected after we felt we were not worthy of the managers time...Yes, we did not return, I rather pay more but have a clean apartment building, were I feel happy bringing my guests!

WOW! I've been living at palm gate apartments for about 7 months. I was searching for the management/corporate number online and I was shocked by the reviews! Now I believe them!! I've been reporting bed bugs in my aprtments and there is no sense of urgency from the manager. I called to ask what managemen was going to do and the manager seams to blame me... I dont have alot of furniture, I live in a studio I have a brand new bed and dresser. There is no conmunication, I have to call EVERYDAY to see when am i going to receive my treatment and carpet cleaning. The manager is never available and the receptionist doesnt give me a date or time of treatment because "shes not authorized" to do so when all of them work in the same office!,, how frustrating! She never returns your phone calls, She schedules maintenance at the last minute. Theres people parting late at night, drinking and she doesnt seem to care. I see no security or manager at night so i can complain. I wish I can just move out and not deal with her but she tells me Im breaking my lease, This is no way of enjoying my apartment. I pay my rent, I listen to all the rules, I do love the property but theres no enforcement whatsoever! This is frustrating as I continue to wait or who evens know if maintenance was done since I never receive notice!!

Yo quiero opinar de todo, en primer lugar el edificio esta mas viejo que papa juan pablo. Piensa que remodelando van a subir estos pendleton apartamentos. Yo vivo con mis hijos y vivia muy agusto asta que yegaron los nuevos disque managers! La manager que se cree jefa de jefas cree que puede correr a quien quiera en un dos por tres,, Discriminan las familias, no atiende a mantenimiento, escoje a sus favoritos y aparte cree que es la duena de los apartamentos cuando en realidad nunca la ves, nunca esta atenta a sus residentes, es convenenciera,a eya no le preocupa nada, se esconde en su casa, el segun seguridad esta vendiendo drogas con los cholos,cada edifio tiene manager quien le grita a mis hijos, la seccion 8 deveria ser para la gente que realmente lo necesita. No gasten su dinero en estos cochinados apartamentos. Un dia te sonrien y para el otro dia te dan una carta que desalojes el apartamento. Yovana esta inundiendo estos apartamentos junto con el dueno y mas inquilinos que siempre pagan su renta a tiempo como yo. Has algo productivo, Muchos inquilinos estabamos dispuestos a los projectos de la ciudad de south gate pero la manger floja nunca quiere hacer nada por sus inquilinos!! Desgraciadamente yo me retirare en un par de semanas pero que triste ver que dejo a mis amigas en estos apartamentos y en una calle demasiada peligrosa para cada peaton. Location is great! I'm a student at USC and recently moved in about 3 months ago from out of state, I was a little worried about all the reviews but seeing that the freeways, and shopping centers are near by I gave Palm Gate a chance and so far so good. I live in a small building with a pool, my own parking and neighbors that mind their own business. I haven't had a problem with bugs of such sort nor maintenance. i must admit the place is CLEAN for it to be managed by three wonderful ladies in the office! I would definitely recommend these apartments especially the Studios!! Very afordable and Large!

This place is horrible! It is infested with roaches all over the place, the pools are always dirty or closed. The plumbing is disgusting, you have to wait half an hour to start getting warm water in order to take a shower. You will find doaces all over the place they live with you!! I will never recommend this place to nobody. The washer and dryer in the unit suck!
