Well,, I lived here for 4 months,, I seen it ALL! New management they claim,, My neighbors have told me that they have been there 2 years or so and that they improved the building from what it was at the begining,, It seems like the manager got too confortable and doesnt give a crap about the tenants! You will never meet her because she doesnt return your pages after you page 8 times for maintenance emergencies or maybe theres not enough maintenance guys to get things done, she never answers the phone, she hides behind her desk guarded by her two guard dogs, You go in the office and ask to speak to her and she says shes busy and/or she ignores you, or walks out thru the back door pretending she has to attend a phone call on her cell phone, or she will tell you she doesnt know the maintenance schedule and then when you ask maintenance he says he doesnt know anything! Wheres the communication?? We dont even know where she lives! Things not being handled proffesionaly, you asdk her about parking and she says someone else is in charge of that, you tell her you want to downsize and she says you cant, she doesnt return your calls even though my ceiling is about to cave in...I love living here but unfortunately her poor customer service is driving us away! Showing a little bit of appreciation and participation would encourage tenants to stay. Theres been petitions from neighbors to get rid of her! Sad but true. These apartments are nice, & gated,security is great, maintenance fellows are great, neighbors are awesome.

WOW!! These reviews are bogus! My girlfriend actually made me write a review,, But these apartments are not like they say! Break-ins and roaches ect.. No no no,, I been here 2 1/2 years and I live in the largest building here and never had any problems with mold, roaches, break ins. I think these people writing the reviews really did get kicked out and evicted. I ve seen it all,, from old management to new management which have done a really good job! Pools are open and yes I agree to enforce pool rules and not leave clothes hanging around, were not in TJ people! Maybe management should put a lost and found Bin and hopefully tenants can claim their personal items. I would definitely recommend you come visit our apartments and its always clean,, You always see a lil guy cleaning, sweeping, watering 24/7. Thanks palm gate staff for making me feel like home for the last 2 years. My maintenance always gets done especially when its plumbing it is priority. I like it here and my sister just moved in and I know she is happy. By the way WHO in the world uploads a picture of a dirty counter?? I tried to upload pictures myself but it also says duplicate My shower is clean. My counters still look like new, and my carpet looks like new! Clean your apartment!

New renters application and process went without a setback. Staff was understandable of our situation and provided us with the most outstanding service we have ever received from any property managers we have come across. We had numerous options of diffirent complex around the area we are very satisfied with the one we chose.

People hanging clothes on the pool fence again!!! Pool is closed again!!!! Saturday June the 1st 2013. Its Hot as hell!!! Hey management??? Show the apartments the way it really is, with 50 kids yelling their heads off in the pool.. I would like to see you sell a lease like that!!! Can't wait until my lease is up I am so moving out of here.

I am current tenant living at Palm Gate Apartments. When I was giving a tour of the complex I was very pleased and happy of the property and unit. Now, that I am a tenant I have not experience any maintenance problems that residents have comment on the reviews. I was read my lease and was explained of all procedures. The management staff has and have been professional. It takes communication to address any issues any resident is experiencing and not posting negative reviews of the property or staff. I recommend the property to others.

We lived here for a year and a half and we have not have any problems, once we where told by management not to have scooters or bikes on property, but that is understandable due that someone can get hurt. We think some of the reviews are not too accurate, we have no roach infestation nor anything like that, we are confortable and feel safe around. Yes I would definately recommend it to any one to live here.

I have been living here for a couple of months and I find these apartments to be in good condition the Manager is very professional and helped us out in a courteous way , we have not gotten a problem with roaches nor any drama, I think those other reviews are exagerated, most of all we had nothing but good service and are happy tenants!

Its super disgusting here! the buildings are infested with roaches and the restrooms are filthy nasty on the ceilings. im personally starting a petition and what not because the tenants should not have to pay rent if the roaches to not go away. Not just because of that but because my restroom ceiling got so bad with mold where it turned pink and was harmful to my 3 yr old daughter. Another thing would be that they nevr want to return deposits. These apartments really need to be closed down demolished and rebuilt

I have been a resident at Palm Gate Apartments for 5 years. Building has been under new management for the past year. They are doing a geat job, they have done a good job in changing palm gate ,a lot of changes from the building outside and also inside the units. My work orders have been completed right away. I do recommend Palm Gate apartments

I have been at Palm Gate for over a year now and I have to say this place has made great progress! I honestly have NO complaints in regards to roaches, mold, or anything else. Any issues i have get taken care of. The new management has shown to me that they care for their community. Good communication gets you a long way! I'm happy here and plan to stay longer. As someone who works in customer service i know when people are doing their best for their customers...and this management team is doing just that! Thank you girls and keep up the good work!

I have lived at the palm gate apartments for about a year my lease is almost up and once my lease is up me and my family we are going to move yes the staff is friendly and also maintains but there ia a problem with my husbands parking spot ever since we moved here we have told the office but nothing has been done my other problem is that we wanted to put an air condishioner but the manager and the assent manager told us the we couldn't and I told them that I have seen other resedents have air conditioners and they said that they where going to give them notices to take them down but they still haven't done that and the other thing is that sometimes there is graffiti on the wall also sometimes I don't feel safe because the gate is always breaking down

~LIVED IN FEAR ~ When i moved into Palm Gate Apartments , I had not even been here a month before i was robbed , I have posted pictures as proof , I lived in fear, if you go to the mail box you better lock up your house ! They stole things that cant not be replaced , Things from my mother ,When i went to management to tell them i was robbed they said " oh call the police " i asked if one of them could go with me to wait for the police & i was told " NO " There was one girl in the office & could not leave ! I was in such shock , I mean she could not lock the door to help me , I was scared , When management asked what happend , ( never came to me btw ) i told them how they got in & that i lost things from my mom , There responce was ! LOCK YOU DOORS & WINDOWS ANYTIME YOU LEAVE ! They were not supportive at all , When i asked for bars on my windows because i live alone & feel unsafe , I was told on we cant do that , So i told them i wanted to move because i feel unsafe in my own home , I was reminded that i have A LEASE ! I also had a mold problem , Pictures posted , I have never been so sick in my life , & so that there is no confusion , I PAID MY RENT , I WAS NOT EVICTED , & of need be i will post proof of that as well , When i complainted about the mold , I had to wait 2 months for repairs , I was told there were other important issues going on , They do not care about anything , All the positive comments are from management them selves ! MANAGEMENT IS RUDE & LAZY . DONT MOVE HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE ROBBED & GET SICK EITHER FROM THE MOLD OR THE ROACHES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I recently moved to Palmgate Apartments and i regret ever doing it. Im afraid to even leave my apartment because my neighbors tell me people like to break into the units. And that i need to secure my windows at all times. I didnt think anything of it until I noticed that several tenants have alarm and safety sticks on their windows to prevent break-ins. Its only been 2 months but it feels like forever. Defintely not the safe environment that management sold me. It sucks leaving in fear! Do not move into these apartments unless you dont mind staying home protecting your belongings. Also the apartments are not what they seem...you can smell humidity the minute you walk in and the floors are so old that every step is a loud squeek. Sucks to be on a bottom unit!!!

This place blows. Management sucks. You re better off living under the freeway over pass at the 710! Enter without 24 hour notice and break all kinds of rules and regulations. Wouldnt recommend to my worst enemy, and that s saying something.

After viewing all the negative reviews I myself was hesitant about moving in here but I decided to take a visit to the property. I dont remember who i spoke to but the young lady toured me a 2 bedroom apartment located upstairs I believe it was a model, Landscape looks nice and clean, as we walked upstairs i did notice a unit downstairs that had their diapers in a bag outside their front door, there was flies on the bag, the resident was yelling at her kid and he was screaming bloody murder,, the employee did apologize and we proceeded to view a vacant 2 bedroom,,I opened all the cabinets and saw no feces of roaches as people claim. I believe all these bad reviews are either from tenants getting EVICTED for not paying rent, or either they're on WELFARE and dont work and have nothing to do. Overall the property was clean, office staff was very nice THRUOUT, you see maintenance on the property, I did see about 3 cameras so there are cameras, a clean playground and clean pools. I dont see the problem of ONE parking?? It helps keep people out since it is assigned parking.Unfortunately they dont have 1 bedrooms available at the moment. I advice these people to clean your unit so u dont have mold and roaches.

Ok for one the apartments dont look anything like they do in the pictures online or in the office. I moved to south gate in january and the 2nd day of living in these apartments my boyfriend and i found mold all in the kitchen cabinets under the shelves and we had roaches!!!! disgusting! we had a flood in our bathroom that ruined my brand new floor mat n towels that i used to block all the water from going into the hallway. they fixed the mold.. so we thought because now we have more mold in our windowsills and under the counter in our kitchen, our heater doesnt work still and we have been here for 2 months. ive been waiting for 4 days for maintenance to replace the light bulb in my bedroom.. instead of spraying and bombing our apartment all they did was put bait in our kitchen which stopped the roaches for approximately 2 weeks and now they are back. the manager cops little attitudes and shrugs her shoulders about everything. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!!! its a trap they think we are stupid. even the regional manager came to me and wasnt complying... there is something wrong with these apartments that isn't visible and it needs to be dealt with FAST.. oh and the washers and dryers dont wash and dry your clothes well at all. you have to was a load twice and dry a load twice for it to smell like they're clean... ugh just gross

Thank you all very much for the reviews I won't be moving in here. Sounds like the managers are not doing a good job and they need to install cameras in the corridors and parking lots to avoid break ins, but they won't because it will cost the penny pinching managers too much money sorry to hear all the negative complaints but it helped me thank you.

I am a current resident at the Palm Gates and I have to say I am very happy with my choice of living. I would recommand these apartment to anyone who is looking for a friendly and se safe community to live in. I love how theres overnight security everyday, makes me safe and secure. There is also a playground where me son loves to spend some time. And most of all an onsite laundry thats very convenient, I can cook and do laundry at the same time. Im surprised by the negative reviews but im sure they no longer reside here. And as far as the new management team these girls do a good job, I like how they host special events that bring there residents together. They are also on top of all theyre maintanance calls.. Thank You Ladies :) Keep up the good work!!

From car break-ins to apartment break-ins, to medling neighbors, to kid-watching sex offenders, to managers full of bull...how u can sum1 live a peaceful normal life?? And the amenities, ha! Laundry rooms all filthy and not functioning. Pools not clean, or not working, or sum bullshet excuse why they off limits. Come on managers!! Wake up! STOP BEING SCARED OF THE BAD PEOPLE, SHET! Just.serve their azzes wit notices!!! Maybe management should have an open-court community meeting that will allow the tenants forming the community, the opportunity to speak openly to management about community issues. NOT A FREAKIN DROP-OFF SUGGESTION BOX! Have a town meeting!

I was very uneasy about moving in because I read a couple of the reviews online.I spoke to the girls in the office and they let me know that there was new management. I came in and saw it and eventually moved in . I have been here 3 months and I love it . Yesterday they had a little parade for the kids for halloween and my girl had alot of fun . I have no issue with my parking I pay for extra parking because I work graveyard and come home late and it is great that I know that I am home and I dont have to look for parking . And no I do not have Roaches.

I have been loving here for 2 years . It has gotten worse since new management came aboard. The pools have NOT been open all summer , The washer & dryers are always broken , There are ROACHES every where . It's just awful here . I pay rent . & yet i am unable to wash clothes or go swimming on my days off , Last summer the pools were always open & laundry rooms clean & working & this summer it is a whole different story . The pools have been closed more . It has been really hot out this week & the pools have been closed , You call the office & they always say " Oh i am not sure what pools are open call back in 10 minutes. Yet the pool hours are from 10am - 7pm & they are open @ 12 or 1 pm . I have been doing laundry & the security guard locks the laundry room @ 8pm When i was told it is open till 10pm. The office is so confused & is unable to keep the schedule THEY SET ! Yet they want you to pay your rent on time , Well i expect the same in return , There are alot of people moving out of here & the people that are all moving out of here were GREAT NEIGHBORS . People just can not take it here anymore . I wish that management would have stayed the same , I am also hearing on my Neighbors apartment being broken into , It has become unsafe for me & my child , I can not wait to move out of here next month , I feel sorry for the person who gets my apartment , Oh & so everyone knows When you pay a deposit for the Laundry Card Gate control & keys , You will not get the deposit back So you may as weel keep them !!!! YOU NEVER GET YOUR DEPOSIT BACK !!!!!!!!!!!!!

MANAGEMENT SAYS THEY ARE ALL ABOUT KEEPING US TENENTS HAPPY , YA RIGHT SOMEONE IN THE OFFICE HAS A LITTLE BIT OF POWER & THERE RUNNING WITH IT , THEY ALSO RAISED THE RENTS HERE AS WELL , YET MY APARTMENT STILL LOOKS LIKE CRAP , MY BATHROOM IS A MESS , MY FLOOR IN THERE IS ALL SOFT & AWFUL LOOKING , MY BATHROOM IS ALWAYS HAVING LEEKS & MOLD GROWING , MAINTANCE HERE IS JUST AWFUL , I DONT KNOW WHERE THEY FOUND THE GUYS WHO WORK HERE ( maintance )BUT NONE OF THEM KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING . I GAVE UP ON CALLING TO HAVE THINGS FIXED , EVERYTHING IS SO HALF ASSED . I AM TIRED OF HAVING THERES GUYS COME & WORK IN MY APARTMENT ONLY TO HAVE IT LOOK GOOD FOR A MONTH OR TWO & THEN IT IS THE SAME PROBLEM AGAIN . I been living in these Apartments for about 11 years and at first I didn't have any problems .......it was still inconsistent with Apartment repair, but i managed to overcome that , Then new Managers Come in and change everything up...... I thought maybe it was for the best ,but i stand corrected ,still is there bad maintenance work and also the new colors are uninspired and dull, Specially with the painting it seems like is not professionally done, it seems really messy. The new managers seem to have discipline alright but don't have a way to talk to people they are very disrespectful. There was a group of neighbors that seem to always try to get what they want and all that drama. There is also something that is bothering me there is a sex offender living in there apartments and i have not got any notice or warning. If your looking for something peaceful i Don't recommend these apartments.
