We've lived her for 3 years, moved from phase 1 to phase 2. Apartment is beautiful and love the new fitness center. But very unhappy the pool and hot tub in phase 2 is still not completed. I'm confused as to why phase 1 pool area is getting remodeled... and nothing is getting completed in phase 2 pool area??? And as others have stated in their review... people need to pick up after their dogs!!!

EXCITED expectations of joy turned to DISAPPOINTMENT
Newly constructed apartments should NOT have so many issues with plumbing, insulation of windows, doors and floors, pets barking and long closures to what you were sold on. . . Even more disappointing is how much more they will go up from your initial lease. My review will get a computer-generated response like the other critical reviews as well a follow-up random post of how good the staff and the property are with a 5-star rating.

I really enjoyed my time here, the fitness center and the pool were amazing. The office ladies were great and attentive and the maintenance guys were always really nice and helpful. Definitely recommend!

It's very expensive for what you get, my apartment had the landlord plus paint where everything was painted over to include light switches and paint spatter all throughout the apartments base boards. Really tacky to look at and I wish I switched to another unit but it was the only available first floor. The dog wash is always dirty and stinks because it gets cleaned maybe once every two weeks. I was hoping to have this as a luxury but end up taking my dog to wag n wash to clean him there. My tub faucet broke and I was unable to turn off the water and had to use the water shutoff valve. It took roughly 15 hours until maintenance came to address the issue despite it being an emergency that could have flooded the home. Positives, most areas are kept clean and the staff are very nice. The Christmas wrapping station was a great idea and the staff who came up should be praised. Enforcing dog clean up is great too because We all can enjoy our walks without having to smell or see poop throughout the complex. The gym is ok and could use a lot more equipment but is kept clean, however it is never stocked with towels, hand sanitizer, nor paper towels. Most of the time I just spray the equipment with the cleaning spray and use it wet. More then likely going to move because of the above cons, this complex is very expensive and I moved because of the location and appearance but the crap paint job, slow maintenance and lack of consistent cleanliness is pushing me away. I've stayed at worse places so I rate 3/5 stars.

I love this place. The staff have been more than accommodating to my husband and I. I love the area and how clean it is. All of the issues we have come across have been solved amazingly quick. Would recommend this place to all of my friends and family!

It's everything you could ask for in apartment living. Quiet. Clean. And your neighbors are very friendly I love the pool and spa (when it's HOT) even though it's open year round About once a month they have a food truck come and the first 50 people eat for free ??. They do have a playground but they moved it to the new complex so now we need to go over there I wish they would add swings my son lives swings

Nice area. Feel safe. Nice amenities in the complex. Only problem we have encountered is the residents not respecting the quiet time hours. Not sure how to fix that because when we tell the office they don't seem to care. I realize it's hard to enforce at times but to not even try to help the situation is disappointing.

Wonderful staff in the front office who are willing to help; quick service with friendly maintenance folks; the apartments are nice and so is the neighborhood. The walking path is fantastic and clean, though not everyone leashes their dogs. Overall, they work hard here to offer a positive living experience.

The apartments themselves are very nice and I love the location. Brittany, one of the managers, is a super great salesperson and is always a pleasure to talk to. I like the gym and garage spaces. I wish there were more ways to meet people at the apartments since that is partially why I chose to move here. The few downsides are that once covid hit they took away the lodge space where there was a fireplace and couches which I loved going to. The pool and hot tub seem to be broken often, especially during the few warm months we get. And they raise the rent every year and won't negotiate weather you have been a good tenant or not. Otherwise I like living here.

The apartment and the complex itself are nice and create a decent living space. Maintenance is quick and does a good job. However, the experiences we have had with the office staff, from before we even moved in to now, have been horrible. From our experience, they have been unprofessional and not very good at communicating from the start. We are most likely not renewing our lease because of the terrible front office and the rent is too expensive.

My experience here has been a positive one. We appreciate the amenities and love this is a dog friendly community. Rent prices are obviously outrageous right now, however, the square footage and amenities definitely help me feel like I'm at least getting a decent amount for what I'm paying. Our neighbors are nice and maintenance requests are handled in a timely manner.

We moved here in 2019. It was us and our two children. Now, in 2021- about to be 2022 we have three children. This community is safe, and quiet. Anytime we have had a problem with our apartment home it has been fixed promptly. The pool and walking around the area our our favorite activities. This community also has a lot of residential events. Our favorite event so far happened this year: we got to see real reindeer, and ate cookies & had hot chocolate. Santa was also present. The community is very clean too, and the views of the mountains are breathtaking.

My experience has been quite good. The maintenance workers are always kind and you can tell they care about the conditions of the apartments/residents. The only complaint I have is there has been a massive uptick in dog poop not being picked up. There is dog poop everywhere and it seems that no one is being held accountable.

I've lived in the complex for over a year and really enjoy it. I have had a few maintenance issues, but the staff responds very quickly and fixes the problem completely. The office staff then checks to make sure the maintenance problem was fixed. The complex is quiet and a security company makes rounds on a regular basis. There are quite a few dog owners but they take care of their dogs and clean up after them.

This apartment was very nice when I moved in almost 2 years ago it was well-maintained and in good standing, in good condition. The past year or so there is constant trash, dog waste, loud music, smells of marijuana, and inconsiderate people. Junk and furniture will pile up and sit outside the dumpsters for days and days. The dog waste stations will become filled to the top of the waste bin and begin to smell for days . Once when I was speaking with the leasing office because the neighbor above me was making so much noise that my light fixtures were vibrating in my dishes in my cabinets were rattling. During that conversation the manager said, and I quote "You are too sensitive, I think you should move into a top level apartment. Also you need to remember that these apartments were built for quantity and not quality". I have had very little maintenance needs and when I have requested maintenance they were very responsive and always took care of any problems. But the leasing office is very poor with communication as well as solving any issues in the neighborhood or apartment building.

When I first looked at, leased and moved into this apartment, the grounds looked like a community that cared about their surroundings. There used to be staff walking the grounds, cleaning up any loose garbage, weeds, blowing out breezeways, straightening up anything looking out of place or out of sorts. The MANY dog waste stations were ALWAYS stocked with bags and emptied waste containers. The grass areas were green, trimmed and beautiful during the summer. Snow removal was quick and started EARLY in the winter making it EASY to get around. It WAS a community to be proud to call home. As of Jan. 2021, much of that changed. Many of these areas of pride have gone away. The breezeways have MAYBE been blown out once or twice in the last year. Often loose garbage blows around until a resident picks it up. The dogs waste stations are often overflowing and often empty of clean bags. This last summer, the grass was overwatered to the point of unusable swampy grass with standing water throughout much of it. Then when new sod was placed to repair the damaged areas, it was not watered and died. The wasted resources (water and material) is very frustrating. The snow removal last winter appeared to change in January to be less frequent in the walkways and breezeways. ?Perhaps less staff? I appreciate what they do, just noting a change. The local staff seem to be responsive to complaints but I feel that standing water, dying grass, overflowing dog waste stations and loose garbage should not have to be pointed out. At this writing (November 2021), dog waste stations seemed to be monitored more frequently in the last week or two. I cannot speak to snow removal or grass watering as neither are a need at this moment. The breezeways are still not blown out which results in swirling bark dust and small garbage debris collecting around front doors of apartments. There may be staff shortages that cause many of these issues but because of the summer overwatering issue, it is harder to cut some slack here. That was NOT a staff shortage issue.

We've been very happy here. If we've had any concern, it's addressed and resolved quickly. We are looking forward to seeing the new phase start next year and possibly grabbing a new ground floor option. It will be awesome to use the new entry to Black Forest once it's open.

Anytime there is a problem within our apartment and I reach out to our landlords, they send someone within an hour to fix it. They are super friendly and continuously keep the area clean. Also love all the food trucks and little events held.

Spent considerable time evaluating apartments when I moved to Colorado. The Lodge was by far the best available both for price and features. Since then I have had excellent relationships with staff and residents. I will continue my living here for years to come.

Excellent place. Great response to any maintenance requests. Very pet friendly. Great amenities especially the pool and hot tub, which are kept very clean. The management staff are very friendly and there to help.

Take it from me!!!!! As a resident of 4 years and an employee of 2 years There’s only 2 things I can tell you for certain that are worth a damn when it comes to The Lodge. The APM and Maintenance Supervisor. Everything else is trash. The apartments (ESPECIALLY the brand new ones) are thrown up and have so many hidden issues that it’s pathetic and embarrassing. The property manager, Janelle, is a puppet to her evil cat lady boss they call the VP, Deb. They are all a joke. If you piss them off watch out, they will make you their enemy. I’ve seen it with so many residents sadly. And myself. They laugh at complaints that come in and talk crap in the office about the residents on a regular. Been there. Heard it. It’s sad. Deb is a lonely, single, bitter, man hating cat lady who won’t even live in these apartments herself. She lives at the Resort. And every single person who works under her can’t stand her, but are too afraid to tell her. That says a lot. She’s truly evil. 60 something years old acting and dressing like she’s 25. Sorry “sweetheart” your time has LONG passed. Give up the pink hair. Act your age. You’re ruthless and the most unprofessional human being I’ve ever witnessed. You don’t know how to appreciate good, hard working employees if you’re life depended on it. Which is why their turn around is so outrageous!! If you’re looking for a job or a place to live. Go somewhere else. You’ll thank me in the long run. Ask anyone who had worked there. This place is a JOKE. The best thing they ever did for me when I gave my 2 weeks notice is make me move out of my home of 4 years. I now live in a beautiful 3000 sq ft home that is only $500 more than my 1 bedroom 880 sq ft apt. You can do better people. Keep looking!

This has been the best apartment complex I have lived in. If I wasn't building a house of my own I would definitely be staying. The staff is very responsive and helpful and the amenities are top notch.

Been living at apartments for a year now and have enjoyed it here immensely. Excellent customer service and great facilities (pool, lounge, exercise facilities... before COVID and even in restricted times now) plus e-mail communications from front office.

I love living here because of Sonya in the leasing office she is always willing to help and understands when things are of an urgent matter and always makes time to listen and help with concerns. Also- the amenities are beyond wonderful even thru COVID 19 they really are making it nice for us here.

The only reason I gave the noise level a 3 is because I live right in front of the dog park, so I often hear dogs barking throughout the day or during meetings, but I recognize that isn't their fault. We do have quiet hours & they are enforced which is super nice! The staff is friendly & always willing to help!
