My girlfriend and I just moved into a one bedroom at the Amaranth. Throughout the application and move-in process, the staff at the Amaranth were incredibly helpful, accommodating, and welcoming (especially Nicole and Melissa). The grounds are very well kept, and the amenities are all top-notch. The maintenance staff does an incredible job. The apartment itself is also stunning. Overall, its a very peaceful environment, a great location, and the individual units are worth the price. I highly recommend.

Dog barking problems are huge here! Just last night I was woken by dogs barking and howling 4X. During the day, I hear a terrier bark very loudly when anyone enters the hallway. They will not address this issue. And, mgmt has even suggested that it isn't even happening because they haven't personally experienced it. Then, they backtrack and say that we've had a "miscommunication" because I wrote a review of what it is like to live here with dogs constantly barking. I have to leave my desk at home to go work elsewhere or in the rooftop lounge (where it is freezing) to get away from the barking. Last night I couldn't fall back asleep until 4:30 am. There has been a revolving door of managers for the last three months. Google reviews that are critical of the management disappear. Amaranth used to have good reviews on Google. But, several residents (myself included) have expressed their disappointment and now our reviews have disappeared. I would have given Staff one star. But, there are two nice people who aren't part of the management.

The Amaranth is a beautiful apartment complex - it is in a great location, has wonderful amenities, and all of the staff are knowledgeable and so friendly! The rooftop is also amazing. I am very happy to be a resident here and I can't recommend the building enough.

Beautiful building that is well-maintained by professional, kind staff. Residents are friendly without being intrusive. I come home to a quiet, immaculate, home in a charming neighborhood. It doesn't get much better!

We love The Amaranth!! We moved our daughter there a month ago and are so pleased that we did. Tara and Rob do an amazing job in creating a family safe atmosphere. They truly work very hard in knowing the needs of their residents. Fernando, is "Johnny on the spot". If you have a maintenance issue or need something hung its done. Minerva, also works hard in keeping the common areas cleaned for all to enjoy and be proud to bring guest over. All in all the one of the best places to live!!! Liz G.

My husband and I have been living here for just over a month now and are in love with our apartment! We keep saying to each other that we finally feel at home. You can't beat the walkable neighborhood, with the beautiful tree lined streets. The staff and neighbors in the building are so welcoming. Besides all of the amenities, I can't say enough about the accessibility of the building (I live with a disability) and how much easier it has made my life since living here. I highly recommend that Amaranth looking for a place to call home :)

I've lived at The Amaranth for just short of 1 year and am renewing my lease this week. Great location, great amenities, and Great management team! The manager, Rob Lafrate, is very personable and is always eager to help you in way he can. It's next to Cheesman Park, the Denver Botanic Gardens and the Cherry Creek shopping district. Awesome shopping & restaurants super close by.

We picked the Amaranth for the location and because we have a dog, but we've had a great experience all around. We really love living here. The office staff Rob and Alex make things seamless and go out of their way to take care of everything we could need from the coffee and snacks in the common area to bringing mail into our apartment when we've gone out of town, they've been great! The on-site maintenance man Fernando is wonderful and has knocked out all our requests the day we've made them. The saltwater hot tub on the roof with lovely mountain views doesn't hurt either. If you're looking for a great spot without having to worry about upkeep, this is your place.

There is no better apartment complex in Denver! This place is perfectly located near Cheeseman park and right next to the Botanical Gardens. The units are spacious and have the greatest detail. They building is filled with much appreciated luxuries, like underground parking, a top notch gym, and beautiful communal areas on the ground floor and rooftop where you can gather with great neighbors for football watch parties, relax in the hot tub, or share a steak and wine while watching the sunset. Rob and his team will bend over backwards to help you get settled in and ensure any issues you have are taken care of immediately. The units are incredibly quiet. You may hear a little sound from the hallway as people pass by, but from wall to wall, it is SILENT! If you're a dog owner, this place is for you! We make liberal use of the dog washing station after our pup goes nuts on nearby mountain hikes. Can't say enough good things about the Amaranth!

The Amaranth is an excellent place to live. My husband and I (and our dog) absolutely love the building. We moved from NYC and couldn't be happier with our choice to live here. The staff is wonderful and really cares about everyone. All maintenance requests are fulfilled very quickly and the building is very well taken care of. The amenities are excellent, there is free yoga twice a week and lovely social events for residents. It is very quiet and the location is perfect!

I have been at the Amaranth for over 2 years now and really love it. The staff are great and responsive, my neighbors and other tenants are professional and friendly, the property is maintained well, and the neighborhood itself is quiet with one of the best rooftop lookouts in the city. I can't say enough great things about The Amaranth!

I moved out to Denver a little over a year ago from NYC, and could not have chosen a better place to call home! Not only is this the best location, the Amaranth and all of its amenities have made me feel like I should have moved sooner! The apartments are perfect and have everything you need...I love the fact that we have the nicest staff who never forget a name, always say hello and even better, treat your dogs as if they were their own. Even when my friends car battery died the manager came out walked us through the process to jump it. I am pretty sure they will take time to help with anything you need. Wouldn't change living here for anything other than when I can buy my own house! Plus, the people who live here are all so kind and sweet!

We have been living in USA for 12 years, moving from different apartments and communities, I have no doubt to say so far this is the best one I have lived in. It is a new construction and well situated in the heart of Denver, close to whole foods and the cherry creek mall. The staff are very friendly, pleasant and always willing to help. Finally I would like to have a paragraph for the Community Manger Rob Iafrate, I have never seen a so dedicated and responsible manager; he is always on the top of getting things done in the community, he is easy going, friendly, hard worker and he knows in advance what tenants needs and he provide always a good idea or suggestion. We are truly happy to chose Amaranth Apartment to live.

I cannot say enough about how great the Amaranth Apartments are! My fiance and I moved in in April of 2015 from across the country. The staff was and continues to be so welcoming and responsive to individual resident needs and the overall building needs (ie: repairs, maintenance, cleaning up after our four legged friends). The management team is more than accommodating to our four legged friends, and not only know every resident by name, but also our pups. They are so on top of getting things done in the building, and even have time to put on events for residents (food trucks, ice cream trucks, tastings, bubbly on the rooftop, etc). The apartment we live in overlooks the Botanic Gardens and we get the benefit of viewing a beautiful sunrise every morning. Noise levels are low if not non-existant; I've never heard a noise from above or below our apartment. We couldn't be happier here!!

Unlikely many of the new rental buildings in Denver, the Amaranth was built with quality of life in mind. Not just with the community amenities which are excellent. The builders considered sound transference. Rarely do I hear neighbors. The building staff are responsive. Great quality of life at the Amaranth.

The staff is remarkable, and by far the best thing about living here. The building is clean, well lit, and attractive. I also feel very secure living here. Still, living in an apartment right next to the DBG, you'll hear noise all day long (think semi trucks, loaders, and bobcats growling back and forth, scraping, dumping, beeping, clanking), which is super annoying (6 days a week), especially if you work from home. Forget about leaving your door open. At night, it's caterers loading, unloading, cooking. The GE appliances are noisy and unreliable. I can hear my neighbors doing their laundry (wash and spin). Laminate flooring peels up (though they fix it quickly), hot tub issues, elevator issues, hallway noise. I think other apartments in the building are much better in terms of DBG noise, just be aware. You're paying a premium here (easily $200/month more than other, comparable buildings). That said, the staff is courteous, responsive, and very, very nice, and they did all they could to help resolve my issues. At some point, though, decisions are in the hands of the building owners who are convinced that the premium rent is justified across the board.

I chose to live at Amaranth after reading terrible reviews of other communities. One major concern I had was security, after reading multiple reviews of buildings downtown saying there were sometimes homeless people in the hallways, people's cars were stolen out of the parking garage, etc). Amaranth is as secure as any building can be. You have to swipe to get into the building when the rental office is closed and have to swipe to get up the elevators at any time of day. Another concern I had was noise, after reading tons of reviews of other buildings complaining about thin walls and noisy common areas. At Amaranth I barely hear my neighbors, so I've been really happy with that. Maintenance is also great, very prompt and competent, and the guys are really nice. There are some annoyances to living at Amaranth considering the amount you pay for it. It was by far the most expensive building I looked at outside of downtown. The rooftop is beautiful but closes at 10pm. A guy walks through and asks you to leave at 10:03. The elevators are down a lot. The rent payment system is idiotic - some utilities are included in the rent so your payment will vary a bit from month to month. The amount you owe is not posted until the 1st or 2nd of the month, and is due on the 3rd. If you pay late you get charged $50. You can go to another website to get the amount you owe a week earlier, then go back to the Amaranth website to pay, but...seriously? This is the best system you can come up with? Overall I have enjoyed living at Amaranth. I just think that things don't run quite as smoothly as they should, for the price you're paying to live here. It's a great option for people moving to Denver from out of state, a pretty neighborhood, and safe building with nice apartments. I would say you can even take an apartment sight-unseen if you're coming from far away. But considering what you get for the price, it doesn't make sense to stay here for more than a year, while you look for somewhere more permanent.

With a physical disability, the Amaranth provides accessibility positives, be it support by the staff, as well as emergency areas if there should be an emergency to get out of the apartment. Not only people with disabilities would appreciate Amaranth, and especially with the expert staff, everyone would! Everything offered is perfect, be it the exercise room, the bike room, the lobby, complete with Internet access, television, meeting fellow occupants. Very enjoyable and perfect for me! Join us and see for yourselves. It will be a pleasure for you to live here. I forgot! You will be very close to Cherry Creek, Botanic Gardens, excellent ice cream and excellent neighborhood! Couldn't be better!
