Sip & Shop Event

I had another great experience participating in the March Sip & Shop at 450K. The Bozzuto team continues to create a welcoming, well-organized event that makes it easy for vendors and residents to connect. The turnout was great. It was exciting to see lots of support and visibility for small businesses within the community. Intimate events like this truly make a difference, and I appreciate being invited back. Looking forward to attending future markets hosted at 450K.

Great apartment complex in the heart of D.C.!

[Incentivized Review] I have lived at 450K for many years now, and there are many reasons I have not left yet. It is in a very prime location in D.C. close to the metro, CityCenter, Union Station and DCA airport. There are many bars and restaurants nearby, and a great little Farmer's market on Saturdays. I love that the building is managed by Bozzuto. The management is super responsive to resident questions and concerns and are great at hiring amazing staff. The management staff are always planning and hosting free resident events that are unique and create a sense of community. The front desk, maintenance and cleaning staff members are incredibly friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend 450K for those new to D.C. or current D.C. residents who are looking for a convenient downtown location with a neighborhood vibe.

Outstanding Service

Eyob was wonderful!!!! He helped me break down and dispose of a broken bed. He was extremely kind , professional, and skilled at completing this difficult task. Eyob was truly the epitome of an employee who went well beyond the call of duty because he truly cares about Bozzuto community.

I’ve been living at 450K since 2018. Hands down, it’s one of the nicest buildings in Mt Vernon. This shout-out is long overdue. Reji, the head of the maintenance team, always gets the job done quickly. Not only that, but every time I put in a ticket for a repair, he and his team make sure that they won’t interfere with my Zoom calls. Also another shout out , another shout out for Sabrina, Jordan, Marcus, and Ryan, the concierge team who constantly go above and beyond.

Great Experience

Apartment hunting was really stressful for me, so it was a great relief to finally find a building and apartment that matched what I was looking for. First and foremost I'm grateful to the staff. Everyone I've met so far has been kind and helpful, and I feel lucky to be able to say that. Moreover, the building is beautiful. I really appreciate the shared spaces like the outdoor patio and the media room. My work is hybrid, so it's nice to have common spaces where I can meet with coworkers and peers. Finally, the neighborhood is great! There's a Safeway supermarket and a CVS pharmacy within a block, as well as plenty of dining options. Plus, the red and green lines are only 10 minutes away. I can wholeheartedly recommend 450 K to anyone looking for an apartment in DC!

Amazing apartments and building!

Location: The building is right in the heart of Mount Vernon Triangle, so a lot of areas (i.e. Chinatown, Downtown, and the National Mall) are at a 10-15min walk away. Management: The entire staff of this building are one of the main reasons I recommend 450K. They’re incredibly professional, responsible, and they truly care for the residents. Amenities: Needless to say, all amenities are well kept thanks to management. They have a very fair usage policy, and there’s always a shared space you can use in the building. Units: I personally live in a studio, and I can confidently say that it is so well distributed that it feels like a 1bd. Also, all apartments have windows with direct access to sunlight, a luxury not all buildings offer and that is crucial during winter. Overall, 450K is a 5/5 for me and my first recommendation to anyone moving to DC.

Perfect place to call home

I’ve lived in multiple apartment buildings in DC, and 450K is for sure the best! The staff members are so friendly and assist me in any way I need. They host many fun events and celebrations each month so there is always something to look forward to. The amenities, especially the outdoor rooftop lounge spaces, are beautiful and always clean. My unit itself has been incredibly well kept and the perfect space for me and my cat. I highly recommend 450K!! It’s a wonderful building in a great location.

Best Apartment Building

I have lived here for a year and half and just love it. Mount Vernon Triangle is a great area. The building and common areas are clean and comfortable. The maintenance crew is amazing and always on it when there is an issue. All the staff is so friendly and helpful! Definitely recommend 450K!

Best Community I've Ever Lived in

We've loved living here for the past 3 years and are so sad to be moving out of the city. We will mss the staff beyond words. I can't dream of living anywhere but at this community. All of the staff care so much and make you feel so at home always. It's really been the best experience. The 450K Team goes above and beyond for their residents, I'm so grateful to them and want to specifically shout out Sabrina Hill and Marcus Jacobs! Thank you 450K for making my last 3 years incredible!

Best apartment

Clean and comfortable. Management is AMAZING. I have never lived somewhere with such good service. Everyone is willing to help and super friendly. I will definitely be renewing my lease for the next year.

Not for kids (families)

I rarely leave reviews, but for what it’s worth this place is inefficient, lacks positive energy, encourages drinking, and does not appreciate all renters the same. It’s not meant for smaller families so we moved out quickly. The amenities are not well-taken care of. Be prepared to set your eyebrows on fire turning on the grills. Management did not blink once after this incident. Be careful, please! We never had a chance to enjoy a nice dinner on the roof. The amenities on the second floor are useless and empty. The fitness room is practically non-existent and poorly designed. It took us a second to realize how overrated this place was after we moved out.

The units are esthetically pleasing. Kitchen and bathroom cabinets are cheaply made compared to many other places in the city. For me it was doable since I stayed for a short period of time. I was not charged for the cracks . They must expect those. I would not recommend this place if you prefer something that does not require maintenance work all the time.

Sketchy neighborhood

The residential building is alright except the foul-smelling odor by the elevators on occasion. The side entrance smells like piss. It’s a mix of heavy air fresheners with piss odor. First week I had my purse stolen a block away. Neighbors informed me that it’s an up-and-coming area and I should not walk alone at night. Mixed feelings about everything. Many new restaurants are popping up. Things look promising.

Home for Five Years

I've called 450K home for 5 years now since relocating from Florida for a career change. Living here has allowed me to acclimate to a new environment and new career field by taking care of every need and issue with excellent costumer service. The property manager, the leasing managers, the concierge team, and the maintenance team are always in great spirits and you can tell they take pride in making 450K home for its residents. The building is in excellent shape, maintenance issues and daily upkeep are always prompt. I've come to know and love the concierge and leasing teams as if they were family and they've gone above and beyond to take care of me and my guests as if we we're family as well. Yes, the cost to live here is on the high side but that is the price you pay for living in downtown DC where you have access to multiple transportation systems, plenty of restaurants, shops, and community activities, and a safe secure environment. And yes, there has been a rise in crime in the past couple years but that's also what you get with living downtown. But the community's response to how it is handled puts me at ease. The only consideration for me to move out is if I'm purchasing a home, but other than that there is no other reason leave.

Great Living Experience

I have lived at ----- for the last five years and have had nothing but a great experience. The building is located in a vibrant neighborhood with many new and longer-established restaurants (some of the best in town!) just a couple of blocks from Cap One Arena and all that Chinatown, Penn Quarter, Shaw, City Center and other nearby neighborhoods have to offer. The building is well-maintained with a very responsive maintenance team who operate in a preventative manner so that residents rarely experience problematic issues. The concierge and management teams are very friendly yet professional, and go above and beyond to ensure residents not only feel welcome, but also work with residents to help them overcome whatever unforeseen obstacles they might encounter related to their living experience. The amenities are always well-maintained for residential use and there are many fun resident events where staff and residents are able to get to know each other better creating an enhanced sense of community. With all that ----- has to offer, the community’s biggest asset is its amazing staff led by -----------!

I sent in a work request ticket to the maintenance team. The two men were on time, very polite and went above and beyond what I requested. I recommend this building because of the high level of friendly professionalism coming from the staff!

Highly Recommend!

I've lived here for a little over a year (and just resigned for another year) and it's one of the best places/buildings I've ever lived in! the staff is always sooo friendly, the building has amazing amenities, the rooftop is gorgeous, and it's safe/secure! they also made my transition to DC to start law school so easy (especially with my busy schedule) and have continued to be super helpful! definitely recommend to anyone moving to DC!
