Finding Sweetwater was a gamechanger for us! After our home was damaged by hurricanes and we made the decision to downsize, we were looking for a two-bedroom apartment within a certain price point, within a few miles of our town and jobs. We found a three-bedroom apartment that more than meets our needs, well within budget, in a community that feels safe and friendly. Sweetwater feels tucked away, yet we're within minutes of a charming downtown and local shopping, medical facilities, and even our church. The staff is very responsive, and they care about residents' quality of life, hosting frequent community events tied to seasonal celebrations. The shared spaces are well maintained - from playground and pool to dog park and fitness center. It's truly a lovely community!

There are many things that haven't been updated here including the trash compactor. They also don't fix things regularly either like the sewer and the gate too. Things need to be updated in apartments like air conditioning, carpets, etc.

The staff are friendly enough and have been helpful to us in the past with questions and concerns. They do little things in the clubhouse if you're willing to go in there for a cookie or some little event, usually geared towards young kiddos. The lawns are always nicely mowed. The gates look rickety and the dial box doesn't always work though, so that's frustrating. There's also the gun range, but you can only really hear them when you're outside.

Overall, I'm satisfied. But there has been a revolving staff of management since Betty Lopez left as management. She did a great job. Since she left, things have gone downhill a bit. The thrash compactor is a constant problem and things aren't as organized as they were under Betty. I think most of the issues would be easily resolved if you found a competent manager that stays for more than a few weeks.

The trash compactor stops working often and they ask everyone to leave their trash inside. People have garages full of trash causing roaches in many buildings. The gate only works when it wants to and often you are stuck there for several minutes until it opens. Staff members often make you feel like a bother and an annoyance when trying to address a concern.

Nice and quiet aside from the gun range next door, friendly office and nice community. Has a playground and pool area with public grills and hammocks which is nice in the summer time. There are community get together a for different events

My apartment is beautiful and I love the location but I have been extremely disappointed with the maintenance staff. It takes weeks to get a maintenance request taken care of. Also the outside of many buildings are not well taken care of.

The management is quick to respond to emails. The grounds are kept decent. Considering there are a lot of renters which do not follow rules, it has become overwhelming for the trash compactor to facilitate the capacity of tenants on a weekly basis. There are weed vines growing on some buildings that could be addressed.

Well I think you need 3 compactors probably 2 in the back and 1 in the front because that's always filling up and looking like the dump, than the sewers always back up. Pretty expensive for smelling bad

We had a fun to stay in Sweetwater. It was very close to the my son school, which was St. Leo University. I went to the gym that was in management building. It was good and convenient. Birds were waking up us every morning that we liked them. Briefly, I and my family had a great time at the Sweetwater apartment complex. I suggest it to future residents. Kind regards, Huseyin Tosun

Work orders take forever to get done and they're not done in a timely manner unless corporate gets involved. Laura is good. Neighbor hood is quiet but can hear neighbors thru the walls. Typical apartment living.

Quiet place to live even with the gun range next door. Property looks good outside and they do maintain the exterior of property well. Maintenance requests are slow to be followed up on inside your units. Garages for rent is a nice feature.

I've lived here for 4 years and this property is beautiful, safe and close to everything! Ms. Laura in the office is not only professional and extremely helpful but is kind and always there to help us, she is the best! The maintenance team is also helpful and great to work with!

Overall it was great. We didn't like how the garages are set up. When someone opens their garage it's loud and can be a little frustrating at times.Also, the dog poo .Some people don't clean up after their pets

It has been wonderful. So enjoying the pool! We love our new apt. The maintenance team is on top of any and all service calls. The entire office staff is so helpful and friendly! We love having the gas grilles. We have used them quite a few times!

We love the convenience of the pool and the garage rental right next to our apartment door. We enjoy the pond behind us and convenience of the location as our employers are nearby. We love the office staff and enjoy interacting with them!!!

They do enter your apartment without notice or permission. Pest control came in with no notice and sprayed without my pet being safely secured, several times! They do NOT respect privacy, Thankful my pet didn't get sick from chemical exposure!! They are good regarding repairs, yet I am reluctant to call for repair when I cannot trust that they'll honor my privacy and not come in when I'm not home (emergencies excepted) and risk harm to my pet, or risk him getting out, since I would have had no notice to secure him.

This is a very nice apartment complex. It is very well managed. Very nice staff. The only complaint I have is the 125.00 for a garage with no garage opener. I would think for that amount of money, I could have a garage opener.

Not good. I've been gaslit when calling for 'security' to come resolve noise/yelling after midnight - it doesn't get resolved. Agreements made with office must be chased down in person, via email, and phone calls for several (over three) months before finally getting reimbursement that was agreed upon. Maintenance are great, most of office staff can be relied upon to use derisive, nasty tone for any issue.

It's been great. The staff here are very responsive and the pricing is fair. The community is quiet and clean cause the staff enforce the rules. It's been a great experience. When things break the staff work quickly to resolve the issue.

The new managers are way better than the last ones. I love this community! I just wish the apartments were updated & the infestation of bugs are insane. I have lived in the 3 bedroom apartment for almost 2 years now and have had roaches which was solved by my own personal exterminator. Now there are ants.
