It's been fun and exciting. The community is great to walk to restaurants and bars nearby. There is lots to do like go shopping, beach and love that you can walk to Publix. Love the pool area where you can grill and watch sports.

Excellent Place to Live

I have lived in many apartments and this by far is my favorite. My apartment is modern and looks great. The property is always clean and looking beautiful. I enjoy walking to Publix and all the restaurants. The staff is very nice and accommodating to anything that I might need. This truly an excellent community to live.

I like the community. Please more trees! Only complaint is work out facility. The community does not enforce prohibitions against no slamming of weights and some people are loud grunting - not good for me

The Alton community is THE place to live! The Atlantico checks many boxes in terms of location. It is a bit overpriced and the walls/ceilings are by no means soundproof. I hear my neighbor's dog bark all the time.

If you can afford, it the apartment and community is great and a lovely place to live. The annual rent increase has ranged from $100.00 to $400.00 and is terrible for current and prospective residents in this economy. I moved into the complex in 2019 and am currently paying $500.00 more than the lease I originally signed on a 1/1 (859 sq ft).

Every employee at Atlantico at Alton has been TOP NOTCH! The leasing staff and the maintenance team always go out of their way to help you. I have since upgraded to a larger unit because I prefer to stay here while I am leasing. Alton, with all of it's amenities, is a beautiful community!

Atlantico is a beautiful property in a great location. However if you like peace and quiet, this is not the place for you. These buildings were poorly constructed and you can hear everything. From your neighbors stomping above you, flushing their toilets, dogs running around, etc.. Our last year in our unit was awful, between the people above us who constantly stomped all day (we complained numerous times), to the family below us with a constantly crying baby, and several barking dogs in our hallway. As someone who works from home, there was never a moment of silence living here. The one positive thing that I can say is that their maintenance team is amazing! Nicest guys, super helpful, and very timely!

Love living here

I love living at Atlantico at Alton. The property is beautiful with a great location and the staff is amazing. I would highly recommend the property with all its convivences to Publix, Starbucks, LA Fitness and many great restaurants.

Awesome experience at Atlantico

I had such a positive experience with the Atlantico at Alton staff as they treated me with dignity and respect while they patiently answered all my questions and really sought to get to know me as a person, not just a potential resident. They went above and beyond what I expected of a management team through the approval process. I felt I was joining a genuine family community where each person has intrinsic value to add to the community as a whole.I have already told friends and family about me experience, just so blown away with their humanity and work ethic! Highly recommend!

Atlantico at Alton is a great community. We love the path around the lake with the dogs and we meet so many people at the dog park so positive and friendly. The community is well kept and take care of things quickly for us! We really love where we live.

Its a great dog friendly apartment except that my dog was attacked several times while living there and nothing was ever done by management to stop this. Dog poop all over. Dont ever live on the first floor as there are rats all over the place. Beware of mold in the storage units -- ruined alot of our stuff and management does not care. When you move out you will not get your deposit back even if you upgrade the place like we did. There is mold and dirt in the hallways. The positive about this place is it's location...walk to everything..so fun and convenient. Tile floors in units are all cracked. It is a great place to live as far as convenience goes....you can walk to everything

The Alton will always hold a special place in my heart. I love being able to just walk to Publix or the pets supermarket, dropping my kids off at the local school and being able to rely on the staff at The Alton. It’s a great location to live everything isn’t to far away your 8 minutes away from the beach and 8 minutes away from the mall. I haven’t had one bad experience at The Alton it truly is a wonderful place to live.

Great new place but it is like living in a War Zone, Extremely LOUD with constant landscapers, back pack blowers, construction etc. Every day is something new and noisy. Big city living for sure so if you are looking for some peace and quiet, this is not for you.

*BE WARNED* RESIDENTS AT THE ATLANTICO ARE ALLOWED TO PLAY MUSIC ALL DAY AND NIGHT AND INTO THE WEE HOURS OF THE MORNING. ACCORDING TO FCI RESIDENTIAL, THERE IS NOTHING IN THEIR CONTRACT THAT PREVENTS THEM FROM DOING SO. The Atlantico Management team (particularly the Manager), along with the corporate heads at FCI Residential (particularly the Senior Regional Manager), do the bare minimum to assist the residents of this community. My experience with them can be best described as indolent, unprofessional and callous. At The Atlantico in The Alton, the apartment walls are very thin, and with tile throughout, the noise can be amplified. The resident in the apartment directly above me plays music all day and night, every day. This is not an exaggeration. The music played is uptempo with lots of bass and drums. After dealing with this for a few months on my own, hoping one day it would just stop, I finally decided to bring this concern to the attention of the management staff. Even though I told management exactly who and where the music is coming from, I was told by them that they can only offer help if I contact them when the music is on during their office hours, to witness it themselves. The problem with that is that I'm not home during their office hours because I also work. I leave for work before they even arrive to the office and come home after they're all gone and closed for the day. I've explained this to them on numerous occasions hoping they could offer another solution, but management keeps telling me that's all they can do. I wound up calling the police one night because I couldn't take the music anymore. Since then, the above apartment has lowered her music but it can still be heard in my apartment- all night and even into the wee hours of them morning before I head out for work. Till this day, nothing has changed. The person above me is still playing music all day and night. I can't sleep, relax or unwind, in my own home. I work 60-65 hours per week and need the ability to rest. Living at the Atlantico, thus far, has been a complete NIGHTMARE. I miss the days when I used to be able to daydream about going home and relaxing on my couch while in the midst of working long hours. Now, just thinking about me going home gives me anxiety. Who can live like this? Management wouldn't if they were in my shoes, but they've proved to be incapable of putting themselves in others' positions. They have treated me like I'm the problem when all I'm trying to do is receive help. I assumed they all wanted the residents at The Atlantico to feel happy and pleased, but that couldn't be further from the truth. They clearly could careless about the satisfaction of the current residents. As a last ditch effort, after months of trying to get management to eradicate a SIMPLE noise complaint, I decided to reach out to corporate at FCI Residential. I've never been treated so thoughtlessly in my life. After explaining to the Senior Regional Manager how the constant music-playing has greatly affected me, and everything I've been going through since the day I moved in, in mid-April, she told me words I'll never forget. "Some people need music to sleep at night and need it even throughout the day for therapeutic purposes. There is nothing in our contract that prevents our residents from playing music, even all throughout the day and night." Wow. Well, what about me? So, it's Ok that the uptempo, bass music offers the above resident serenity (supposedly), even though it keeps me up all night long and causes me stress and anxiety?? Her solution to this problem floored me even more than her response. She told me I can move into another apartment when a unit opens up in the same model as my own. MOVE?? AGAIN?? I JUST moved in! That "solution" added even more stress than the actual music-playing. And, guess who will have to pay for yet another move? ME. I'm a good tenant. I do what's asked of me. I pay my rent on time. I keep my apartment immaculate. They're losing yet another good one. All for a request so simple to fulfill.
