Don't move here

This place is bad,Infected with roaches,yes pest control comes once a week to feed the roaches.The pool has been closed for more than a year.People are always littering,sitting in their porches smoking drinking and fighting.loud music every night.The girls in the office are always in the computers chating in facebook and my space and listening to music and never anwser the phone.One day i was tired of calling as i walked to the office while i was calling i surprised them just listening to loud music and laughing. The maintenance team is pretty good they are trying their best but with the nasty residents and lazy office staff they can't get things done.They change maintenance staff evry 2 months not because they fire them but cause the maintenance staff get tired of dealing with this carzy place.. My advice is DON'T MOVE HERE YOU WILL REGRET IT FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE!!!

I happened upon these beautiful apartments at rent.com after a month of searching for a four a reasonable four bedroom in polk where i currently live with five children and one on way needed more room my husband and i were very pleased when visiging these apartments well maintained courteous staff and an all around homey feeling we now anxiously await praying our application will be approved

These apartments are terriable

I just moved into here in July 2010 they showed me a nice apartment with everything new nice clean no problems but when it came time to move in they put me into a totally different apartment then what I should have gotten I moved into things still there like food from the previous owner wash rags filthy tile floors,broken closet doors throughout the apartment along with tubs not working,maientence tried covering up mildew, in the bath tub with caulking which is now comming off along with paint in the shower, All the screens in the bedrooms are broken within one week my fridge broke they replaced it with a old old old one from another unit Management needs to get on maientence seriously I have my childs bedroom window that does not lock both our fans in the apt are broke not to mention along with everyone else that there is ROACHES everywhere they invaded my kitchen and bathrooms it is so discusting and it's 928.00 a month RIDICOULUS!!!!

BEWARE: ROACHES LIVE HERE!!!!!!!!

I've been living here at Royal Palm Key apartments for a long time and let me tell you when i moved in i did not have anything but my clothes and never seen any roaches and then after a year i go into the kitchen to turned on the lights and there were like roaches everywhere!!!! I could not believe how bad the roach problem is here at Royal Palm Key Apartments. Even the maintance men talked bad about how the roaches are taking over. They move theses ------ a** people with section 8 in and people who moving from the projects to something more nice just do not know how to deal with something much better than what they had. Good houskeeping goes a long way and basically thats why these apartment are infested with roaches. People don't clean. I took it upon myself and i bombed my place and i put down boric acid and they are gone but you have to do it every six months or you will keep roaches in your apartment. The staff is okay but you know they are not professionals in what they do. The maintance men before now were horrible!!!! Never fixed anything, and hate to come and see what's the problem!!!! Since i've been living here i've had 5 property managers and these apartments are not that old, maybe six years old. Now the new property manager is all about money, bastard !!!! If you are late on your rent it's a $75 late charge plus $5 everyday that you are late!!!! He will not be here managing these apartment long just like the others they come and try to add on to something and then the next thing you know you have someone new in the office. It's a revolving door at these apartments and the word is out about how nasty this place has really gotten, noone wants to move into a roach infested place. They need to start charging the roaches half the rent because it's really bad here with the roaches. They need to start doing weekly pest control here because its ashame these apartments are very nice you move into them and you got roaches crawling all over. I don't know how they are going to get this under control but i tell you what my roach problem is under control because i clean with bleach and spay bug spray every night. I was going to say hee one more year but im getting out of here when my lease is up. If you are planning on moving here to Royal Palm Key Apartments think twice because it's not all what you think it is.

Apartments suck

I have been living here for 3-1/2 years. the first 2-1/2 years have been wonderful. But now lately it really sucks. The maintenance never comes and fix anything. I do not know why they have an emergency number because if you call after 5 pm and on the weekends you will never get anyone. The used to not be like this. But when the projects closed they started allowing just anybody to move in and they went down every since. I have already told the leasing office when my lease is up I am out of here.

Great place to live

My opinon: I think the people that work in the office are great! Yea it takes maintenace some time to come fix stuff in your home and you have to tell them a couple of times but they are managing a lot of units and dealing with a lot of people on a day to day base. I like living here, CIS is on top of everything that goes on and getting rid of people that doesn't belong and all the ladys in the office always help me. I dn't run into that much problems and when I do they get taking care of.

DO NOT MOVE HERE!

This complex represents why people would prefer the projects. I am moving after 2 years of hell. Staff never respond to fix problems like unruly adults who play loud music, your a.c. combined with no pest control and they force you to purchase cable from them called Moonbeam, which when it rains it goes out. Management unprofessional and dont be fooled by nice office. U have to drive ur garbage to the dumpster there is only one on the whole premises. Not a good place! Projects better!

Managements sucks!!!!!!!

i dont recommend this apartments. Starting with the managements they are not professionals of course they are trying to fill out the apartments so they can get their commisions but the reality is that ones that you move in they treat the residents like shut!!!. The apartments are full of roaches and they said we will send pest control and never do, they said that is a gated apartments and the gates dont work, they always loose paper work and always is the residents fault but not theres and i think that what they doing ins wrong because you can ask them for theire corporated number and they refused to give that number out. Before you move in this apartments please think twice before you do it. Take advice from residents.

They made me get so much paper work and pay my security deposit just for them to tell me that I could not move in and that they needed more paperwork..........a bunch of --------......I had already had my lights and everything transferred they are a bunch of liars!

Worse than the Projects

I lived in this apartment. The managment team has changed several time to the point you see a face then its gone the next month. I heard the property management Lashawn at the time is a complete B-word. I am not surprise I had to report her to her management group for illegally entering into my apartment without notifying me in advance. She entered when I was in my underwear if this is not an indication to not move in there then reading comprehension is not your thing. I moved out after that event.I also want to report that I have not received any of my security deposit back. I called and visit their office to get the same reply it takes a while to be mailed. I am very upset about this because I have been waiting more than 45 days for my security deposit to be returned. This is very unacceptable and I thinking about seeking legal action. No one in there management group wants to take the responsible or ownership for this delay they keep handing me off to person to person.

WOULD RATHER LIVE OUT MY CAR!

Some stated to me once that "the management when you are trying to move in to an apartment is good, but once you move in it sucks." I agree this is the first apartment I've have ever had from here I'm moving into a house. I signed the lease three days later they finally let me move in. Out side my apartment door was a vacume because my carpet was filty (not stained but dirty soiled). Then I woke up the first night to a kitchen full of roaches (infessed upon moving in). On top of everything management sucks they are polite to my face, but when a complain nothing is done about it. That is to say they claim they are going to do this, and do it a week later or not at all. Royal Palm Key Apartments-SUCKS, SUCKS, SUCKS. The rent is a good value but everything else sucks. I wouldn't recommend it.<br>
