his apartment complex has been a living nightmare. The apartment was not ready on the day we scheduled with them to move in. We did our walk through and everything was falling apart. We had to wait on maintenance to do work on the unit before we could get our stuff in; meanwhile, we had taken off from work, made arrangements for help, and dedicated this day to our move. It was a delayed process. Since the day we moved in, they promised plenty of things for the apartment that were never completed. There is no door to the laundry room. There is a leak in the vent where water drips constantly. All of the drawers and cabinets do not close completely and/or fall. There is mold in the windows. Not to mention the roach infestation that I had to eventually complain to corporate about. The place is disgusting and they do not care about your well-being. Prices seem fair but you're definitely not getting your money's worth. I do not recommend.

Good, bad, ugly...... Bug control....$5 per here roaches. On 2nd request they asked us to remove all kitchen items from all drawers and cabinets. We did, still have roaches. (We keep our kitchen clean and do not leave dirty dishes lying around) Air conditioning. Went out about a month ago. Fixed very fast. Went out again last weekend, been 6 days without AC. Realize it went out on a Holiday Weekend but 6 days is too long, period! Pool Area, very nice. Neighbors and view have been very nice. Please get our AC fixed!!!! I requested to have the HVAC filter did so but put in too large of a filter....I ended up doing myself. Last summer/fall they painted the outside of the buildings. When painting the patio area they over sprayed several personal items. Had they given proper notice, would have moved items. First time AC fixed, showed maintenance person a half inch gap behind the kitchen sink. Was told the opening is a standard size opening and the sink simply needed to be remounted to cover the gap. Still waiting on this.... Air fan in bathroom made severe rattling sound. Came out and installed new one in timely fashion. Outdoor plug on patio did not work. Came out in a timely fashion and repaired. This complex was built several years ago and it is showing its age. The new management is trying to spruce up the place with exterior paint and new pool Invest a little more in an improved maintenance department with better back-up plans for no AC and better pest services and the review would be better. Lastly, when this place was built most every apartment had a great view of downtown Atlanta. Several apartments still do and the view is amazing. Those apartments on lower levels are slowly losing the views do to tree growth...... For the money and location, this place is still worthy of a bring your own can of raid.

Literally LOLING. Lived here for 4 years. Wasn't the worst place to live, but certainly not the best. Kids here would vandalize the golf carts and pool area and be generally obnoxious until late hours, mind you I am only 27 so I am used to hearing music at 2, but come on. Time to move out, this apartment will literally do anything to incur $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. Managment switch 3 times, these "lose" documents. Just billed an enormous fee, not sure what for. Oh and mind you, questioned about damage that the maintenance caused.... but considering the turn over rate for not only resident and management AND maintenance has been so high, its now a he said she said argument. Literally don't waste your time, money or energy with this place. Oh and here is a topper, they allow the garbage to get so full, people put their trash on the street in front of the dumpster. Happens at least 2 times a month, and stays like that for about 4- 7 days.

DON'T MOVE HERE. 4 yr resident and it's been the worse experience ever. The Staff turnover is monthly and you never know who is who. We literally had no maintenance assistance for months. And if you have an issue you better pray it's not an emergency or just fix it yourself. Try getting anyone on the phone is impossible. Oh and make sure you have a savings fund for your winter electric bill, it gets in the 200s plus. The insulation in these homes are THE worst. I have camped out in tents that stay warmer than these homes. They promise upgrades and better service each year but honestly it has only gotten worse. It's sad because this is a very quiet and safe area. But whomever is managing this property has dropped the ball big time. Hope you have a gym membership because the equipment stays broke. They JUST got 2 new treadmills and they are both out of order. They did upgrade the pool area, but yet I'm still waiting on 2 maintenance requests from a month ago and so are my neighbors. RESIDENTS ARE NOT A PRIORITY . One thing they are consist with is raising your rent. The nerve. They should be lowering it.

This place is SOOO TRASHY that even though it is has been like TEN YEARS since they changed the name to Rosemont Cityview ( I will now reffer to them as Rosemont GARBAGEview) they have not updated the name ANY WHERE! If you try to have something shipped to you your address will be automatically changed to an undeliverable address because of this! The "renovations" are a JOKE and will never be done because they either can not afford them or they hired the worst contractors on the face of the planet ! A hot water heater was left by the maintenance outside our building by the bushes for over a month ! Don't even get me started about the nightmare we went through with the joke of an office staff just to move in here ! The water has been shut off to the entire complex soo many times that we might as well not even pay the bill! NO ONE ANSWERS EMAILS OR THE PHONE ! SOMETIMES NO ONE IS EVEN IN THE OFFICE DURING OFFICE HOURS AND THE DOOR IS OPEN! 3/29/2016 Cheap garbage bathroom faucet handle SHATTERED when turning on water ! 3/17/2016 Water/liquid damage on our ceiling from unit above. So the spot bled through again and someone was sent out today ((5/4/2016 ) I think his name is Curtis (?). He did NOT bring a drop cloth and wanted me to put one of MY TOWELS over my husband's desk !?! I told him no and I ended up wasting 3 of my own garbage bags instead. This guy has NEVER EVER completed a job in my apartment without leaving and coming back a MINIMUM of 3 times ! ALL HE WAS DOING TODAY IS SPRAYING KILLZ ! Why did he have to leave 3 times and still NOT use his OWN drop cloth!?!?! 4/15/2016 ANOTHER Cheap garbage bathroom faucet handle SHATTERED when turning on water ! 5/18/2016 AND ANOTHER cheap plastic water handle has SHATTERED this time in the kitchen !This is actually the 3d time this is happened. 5/17/2016 Water is off without any notice! 5/20/2016 1:22 AM And upstairs neighbors banging and stomping for HOURS! I knew when they moved in LOUDLY at 10:30 PM that they were going to be an issue! Jun 8, 2016 : Reported SECOND occurrence of leak into our bathroom from UPSTAIRS neighbors. ( I do not know wtf they do up there!) 7/04/2016 Today I went outside to find that one of our "lovely" neighbors has stolen our new grill. Nothing fancy mind you, I mean we are aware of the caliber of people surrounding us.... This place is a ------ ! UPDATE 7/8/2016 : Came home after a family emergency to see that some "lovely' person put the garbage cans and trash left by the aholes that moved out next to us on OUR back porch. It also looks like they tried to one our fing back door ! this place is a COMPLETE PILE OF ----! UPDATE TO THE SAME UPDATE! SOME TRASHY CONTRACTOR JUST HALF --- PUT A RATTY TARP OVER MY FING CAR AND STARTED FING PAINTING! THAT MF BETTER HOPE THERE IS NO DAMAGE TO MY CAR ! I WILL SUE HIM AND THIS RAT HOLE ! WE ACTUALLY HAVE A NICE CAR NOT LIKE MOST OF THE GARBAGE CARS HERE ! ANOTHER UPDATE! : This place is TRASH! UPDATE WATER IS LEAKING INTO MY ------- APARTMENT FOR THE THIRD ------- TIME! THIS TIME RIGHT ON TOP OF MY NEW DRYER! IT IS AFTER MIDNIGHT AND THESE SORRY SACKS OF ---- WILL NOT ANSWER THE FING PHONE FOR A GOD DAMNED EMERGENCY! OH AND THE FING NEIGHBORS ABUSE THEIR DOG! I HAVE CONTACTED ANIMAL CONTROL TWICE AND THE OFFICE KNOWS ABOUT IT... I HATE THIS ---- HOLE! 7/25/2016 Emails for being added to pest control and for all other things go unanswered. 8/4/2016 Reported dead tree endangering the parked cars in front of building 6. Both by email and phone call. This is the third problem we have had with water from the upstairs unit. I called the maintenance emergency line twice over the past hour with no callback/response. This time the water damage is occurring in the laundry area of the kitchen, with water leaking onto my dryer. Spots are now apparent in four drywall areas, and the kitchen floor even feels spongy. This has been one thing after another since January when we moved in, and it is intolerable. I expect to have a very serious conversation about where we go next in this epic tale of being at resident at Rosemont CityView later this afternoon (Monday, August 29th, 2016). 8/30/2016 MAINTENANCE MAN JUST TRIED TO JUST WALK INTO MY APARTMENT! I CORRECTED HIM ON THAT BUT THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME THIS GARBAGE HAS HAPPENED ! WTF PEOPLE ?!?!? I was sitting RIGHT HERE and he tried to open the door while saying maintenance ! 9/13/2016: They LOST my rent check that I handed to the DISTRICT MANAGER who I SAW HANDED IT TO THE ASSISTANT MANAGER (Who I KNOW doesn't like me but you better believe it is mutual) and her comment was that "stuff happens" !!! She also tried to make out like she knew nothing about the check. Even went so far as to say that she is "very good at keeping up with money" ROFLMAO ! Apparently NOT!!!! 9/16/2016 : AND the water is off AGAIN and without warning AGAIN! And the dead tree that they have been told about THREE TIMES is still looming over cars in the parking lot. 9/20/2016 I have put in for pest control for TWO WEEKS IN A ROW AND NO ONE SHOWED UP! I can only assume that the joke of a staff in the office is now ignoring work orders as well as emails! My husband just had to LITERALLY chase the pest control man down as the was leaving because he did not come to our apartment! 9/20/2016 7:10 PM TEN FING SHERIFFS JUST CAME GUNS FING DRAWN TO ARREST SOME ONE IN AN UPSTAIRS APARTMENT FROM US ! WHAT THE FING F KIND OF $H!7 HOLE IS THIS PLACE?!?!?!!?

Overworked staff, lax maintenance response times, unexpected rent raises ensuring residents do not stay for long. We honestly wondered why the rate of turnover was so high, at first. We paid rent on time since June 2011, rarely required anything from the front office, never had any noise complaints and only had maintenance called for a leaking ceiling and broken air conditioning. Finally bought a house and was moving out at the end of our lease, unhelpful hours and scarce staff prompted us to discuss our leaving plans with front office over telephone, was told one thing (verified verbally twice when we called back to make sure) that ended up costing us an additional $900. Do not feel like an appreciated resident of the community, feel taken advantage for being good people who don't complain and avoid conflict. Customer service and questionable business practices warrant I do not recommend this apartment complex. -Shannon

This was the first apartment I had ever lived in. Safe, reasonably priced, convenient property. Our original leasing person was not very good, but --- is the one who does the day to day work and she pulls more than twice her weight. Maintenance requests were always done quickly and the maintenance staff is very friendly. I wouldn't trust anyone who makes a review all in caps. Just reeks of ignorance! I would recommend this place to anyone.

I've lived at Rosemont Cityview since March 30, 2013, so only being there a month and a half probably doesn't give you the best realm of time. However, so far I like it a lot. The community is very quiet with the exception of the doors, they do slam shut if you just walk in and let the door close which my downstairs neighbor does quite frequently. However, he is just a college guy who probably doesn't even think about the noise level. We have probably called in 15 work orders for very small things like tightening the toilet seat, cleaning the ventilation fan, fixing the vertical blinds, adding a screen to one of the bedroom windows, a leaking toilet, etc. All of our issues have been addressed in a timely manner, so I feel that they do a great job in making sure tenants are comfortable. Also, we have no bug problems so I am very happy about that! All of the neighbors seem friendly as well. For my first apartment experience it has not been bad at all!

(ROSEMONT CITYVIEW) I have lived here since june 1 2011. I must say at first i wasnt a fan of the staff then I started seeing a new maintence crew and everything started getting repaired like it need to be and the grounds started to look a lot better. Office staff has had a few changes too all for the better. Everyone up in the office always seems happy now and willing to go the extra mile to help where they can.I plan on staying here for at least 3 more years.

Nice area but horrible staff. When I was looking for an apartmet they showed me a renewed apartment with new appliances and granite top counters it was very clean however when I got into the apartment it wasn't fully clean also all the promisses of a renewed apartment were a bunch of lies! Then when I filed a complaint they didn't seam to care at all, that made me realize the rental staff aren't honest at all! Also the apartment had a alot of bug that I had to get rid of my self. also it feels like the neigbors are in your bath when the take a shower, it's loud. The other problem would be the pool, it not very sanitary(is there for looks). Now if you are a handyman I would say you can live here an enjoy it just be aware of lies! 2/13/2010 rosemont cityview

LOVE IT
As a first time renter (off campus) I love it here. It's not far from my college, quiet, and safe. The office staff knows a lot of the residents and really cares about there living experience here. Anytime something breaks, and I report it the maintenance staff is here usually within two hours and repairs it. Everyone is friendly and the staff even found my friends wallet in the parking lot and knew to call me to come and pick it up and everything was still there!! They also just spent a lot of money upgrading everything and putting money into the grounds. I love it here and will be renewing my lease this week!

Great Place to live
I moved to Brighton Crest in Summer 2008. It's a great apt community tucked away near home owner subdivisions. Washer and dryers are included in all apts. Near I-75, resturants and shopping. Great view of ATL depending on the building I was lucky to get one with a pretty good view of ATL. It's very quiet the only small problem is you can hear almost every little sound from your neighbors apt no noise complaints. Just if you are a very private person sometimes it can sound like your neighbor is literally in the next room.I guess the walls are beyond paper thin and the community could use some more street lights it's a little too dark at night. Other than that it's very place with a courteous staff.

I was fairly satisfied during the 2 years I lived here. I lived in the second part, away from the leasing office. No problems with loud music, children, or pets, no break-ins or anything of that sort. The upstairs neighbors had feet like elephants, but it really wasn't a big deal. Whenever I needed fast maintenance (one time my doorknob fell off as I was closing the door!) they got there fast. One time they even came to help me jump start my car. The only time I had a problem with maintenance was when one of the burners on my electric stove shorted out. It was an intermittent problem where it would make a weird, electrical zapping noise and smelled like burnt wiring. The first time they came to fix it, they just left a note saying "Checked stove, worked fine." The next time, I made sure I was there and a different maintenance man cheerfully replaced the little things under the coils for me. The only REAL problem I ever had was when Alfred, the new manager, came. I'd been having tax problems, and I needed to get a statement from the office stating what my rent was and that I was paying it on time and in full for my expense reports. Alfred was very uncooperative and refused to fax anything over for almost a week. When he finally did, it didn't have an amount on it! How can the IRS figure up my expenses without AN AMOUNT!? Other than that, it was fine... safe, pretty quiet, definitely worth the money.

Okay for location and price
I chose this apartment in 2007 because of the price and the upgraded kitchen. I enjoyed the apt and community when it was owned by Aimco. The new management is ok but they don't know much about me so it has been annoying with them since they took over. Other than that, I stayed in a small one bedroom, it was way too small and there was not enough storage. There is a ton of parking in my area, near the 1400 building. A few weeks ago there was a shooting in the parking lot. The parking lot is very dark in some places. The office sent out a letter but I know crime happens everywhere. There should be more lighting in my opinion. I live on the top floor and love it. I rarely hear my neighbors but sometimes they play loud music. Nothing to complain about. Sometimes I hear animals in the roof/ on the roof. I face the woods so I only went on my balcony in the winter, because of bug. I love the privacy though. I just hate bugs. They just updated and painted and landscaped the grounds. It looks nice. I like the new stairs, they used to be all latice work but now it is fence...um, work. Let's see what else... Eventhough it is not a gated community there are a lot of homes in the area. To the left, a ton of townhomes and to the right a ton of townhomes and large family houses. Nice houses to the right. Wish they had sidewalks in the complex. Not many kids, at least not near my building. Sometimes they play outside but very rarely. It's been a pretty quiet place to live. Just small. Real close to 75 so that's nice. The other larger floor plans are great and come with a washer and dryer. Maintainence is okay, haven't really needed too many things since the switch. They're changing the name to Rosemont Cityview. Oh yeah the complex has two parts. I prefer the main part with the leasing office and mail boxes over the second section. The second section has awesome views of Atlanta though. Good luck with your apt search. I don't hate this place but I am moving to a newer property closer to work. With more sq. footage. I had problems with my heat and they seem to not be able to change the air filter so my air stinks when it kicks on. I was sort of cold during the winter, but i justgot a space heater and thick blankets. The upgraded units are very nice though, but I hear that there aren't many.

Flea!
Unfortunately, I've been a resident of Brighton Crest for nearly 2 years. It started with moving into a dingy apartment that was NOTHING like the model with grimey walls, horrible carpet, and rickety old appliances (the model had brand new ones, of course). A couple days after moving in we realized the place was absolutely flea infested. After a hard-fought battle, we finally got them to take care of it. In the first year we lived here there was a suicide and several incidents for which the cops had to be called. The management is full of lies, if you can even get them to call you back!! Just a few months ago they punched a hole in our cieling while attempting to change out a firesprinkler. They left the sheetrock dust all over and taped a papertowl over the hole like we wouldn't notice! To make matters worse, one of the workers took a crap in my bathroom!!! Three weeks of phone calls finally got them out to patch the hole. They promised to come back to paint it, but never did. The people in the office are a sorry excuse for "management" and their idea of upgrading is cutting down the mature trees that were the best thing about the complex. Living here has been one of the worst experiences of my life and I can't wait for my lease to be up! SAVE YOURSELF THE HASSLE AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Not getting another year from me
I will make this quick!Ive been a resident for 2 yrs within those 2 yrs I have been waiting on a screen door just received it last month. Maintenance is slow and horrible I was possibly 6 months pregnant at the time smelled moisture and saw mold in the apt.As we all know that is not healthy for anyone. I called maintenance and the only thing done was the scrapping of mold.I had to have my boyfriend call and complain 3 times before something was done. Another thing is I do not like bugs and everyday Im killing something its time to go. Last but not least throughout my 2 years there has been two deaths. There was a pool drowning also a suicide/murder no one ever stated or sent information to clarify what was going on around us.That tops it off for me.

Promises
When The office or even AIMCO does not have an answer- OR don't feel like resolving an issue, they freakin lie their asses off. I have had an ongoing issue and they have been saying they would "take care of this issue". Ahhhh after 8-10 times in a year enough is enough. Problem solving is definitely NOT their forte. Neither is customer service COME ON !! H E L L O You are in the Hospitality business- SNAP-OUT-OF-IT If I lied and said I was going to pay my rent and didn't- Boy what a mess that would be FIRST TIME - I ask for a simple maintenance safety sign be put up and 10X later Noda! Now I know I have the option of moving but now this has turned into a human and renter's rights issue. I will fight till it's right!! Calling my lawyer Monday morning !!! I might give Clark Howard a call too.

Anyone know the staff?
The staff changes constantly. I was lied to, they fired the girl and I was told she was fired for lieing (that is against the law) but they would not hold true to her word. I was told by mgmt that they could use my apt for a model however wanted to keep my deposit because I painted the whole apartment. Please do not let the "welcome" get you; it does not last long.

hell hole? (excuse my language)
I moved into Brighton Crest in 2006 and it was a very pleasant community. However, the last year has been ever-so-horrible. The management has changed so much that nobody knows me anymore. They send my billings to the wrong address every month, they don't know what they are supossed to be charging me for rent... and let me tell you about the fire sprinklers... they started cutting holes in my ceiling in june, and for 2 months I was without a ceiling. Men were coming in and out of my apartment everyday, I had property stolen and damaged... I even walked in on them during my lunch break while they were watching my TV and there was a bottle of whisky on my coffee table. Not only did I have to put up with that, but my power bill was over twice the amount because my air was going straight into the ceiling. This goes on for three months. Finally after the sprinklers were done, the painters came to patch the holes and paint and left dust and paint everywhere. They even asked me if I could cover up my furniture with my bed sheets. I had to get all my clothes dry-cleaned and most of my stuff still has paint spots. And then after the murder and suicide that happened last month, I have come to the conclusion that this place is charging way too much for what it is. I could go somewhere that is $200 dollars cheaper and have the same quality of life. I will not be renewing my lease and Brighton Crest can thank whoever or whatever for the decline in class in the last year.

Don't move here, Keep looking!
I have been on this property for 7 years too long. I have been flooded twice and had to move twice. I have tried to get out of the lease several times but it would cost way to much to do so. There have been many of problems with the trash, the pool and hot tub, and the work out facilities. These are all items that we pay for in the rent but do not work most of the time. The hot tub made a visiting friend very sick and the next day the county closed the pool and hot tub because the chemical levels were bad. There has been several shooting's on the property and there has been many breakins's. The staff has changed so many times that I can not keep up with who is running the property. When I have called to complain they give me the excuse of "it is corporate policy, and there is nothing I can do about it" but when I tried to contact the corporate office I could not get in touch with a live person. In the beginning when I moved in here it was not ran by AIMCO and the staff was very friendly and helpful. This could be a great property but it has gone down hill slowly in the past few years. I have finally bitten the bullit and I am going to break my lease to leave. There are many complexes in the Marietta area so keep looking.

My Second Post-- AFTER being here for 6 months
After the maintenance staff sprayed two times, the bugs didn't go away and we had to get Combat which finally worked. The water heater busted a week after being here and the it was repaired; however it left a huge rust stain and nasty smell in the closet that I have asked they replace the carpet but to no luck. It does take a few times and some strong urgency to get the maintenance staff out here but then they do a decent job. There was a leak in the pipe connecting to the water heater that probably caused damage to the floor that took them a week to come fix. I also think they didn't replace the foam underneath the carpet because it looks like black mildew spots coming up which we can get rid of when we have steamed the carpet but not permanently. It is still quiet and neighbors are nice. Office staff is okay- it depends on which person you talk to. I also don't like the closet- how it doesn't have a pole to hang clothes, it has slots. It makes it difficult to hang clothes when doing laundry since you can only fit so many in each and can't really move them. It does get dusty in the apartment pretty quickly. Our lease is up soon and we are thinking about the bigger apartments so overall pretty nice.
