Thank you Hans for all your help. The maintenance here are all awesome. We love it here. The staffs are very respectful. Our apartment is beautiful and comfortable. We love that the school bus comes here. Our kids loves the pool and playground. My husband and I loves the gym here.

My wife and I rented a 2 bedroom apartment at Pembroke Woods a year ago because of the speciousness of our unit and the quiet beautifully landscaped area that yet is only minutes from a highway and Interstate to Boston as well as shopping centers, gas stations, convenience stores, restaurants and basically any type shop you'll need. It's a 'can't be beat' combination. This review, however, is especially for the maintenance staff and 3 men in particular: Mr. Hans Rivers Mr. Bill Duffy. ** Mr. Nuno Fagundo These men are dedicated professionals with positive attitudes who always put the tenant first. They are hard workers and courteous gentlemen. There has never been a problem that went unfixed. At times the least expensive fix is not enough. When that happens they move right on to either replace what is necessary or if not on hand they'll buy it new. We've had this happen and the purchased item has always arrived and been installed the next day. There is none of the usual back and forth and delays caused by off-site upper management as so often is the case at other apartments. These 2 men are skilled in the areas of electrical, gas and HVAC related problems yet they'll very quickly deal with all garden variety but annoying problems like a clogged drain. These two men give my wife and I peace of mind that all in our unit will be and work as it should. That's something you can't put a monetary value on. Kudos to Hans and Bill. ** Mr. Nuno Fagundo deserves Kudos as well. He recently resigned from his position here to work closer to home and have more time with his family. Admirable, indeed.

Pembroke woods appears great based on first impressions, once you move in you realize finishes are cheap, walls are thin, there is dog feces and trash everywhere, and management does not care about any issues you may have.

tenants need to realize there are people living below and next door slamming of doors child jumping also tenants need to pick up after their dogs and have pride for where they live overall we have enjoyed living here but in the last six months tne complex seems to have changed for the worse

With no elevators sand living on the 3rd floor with kids, very difficult to bring groceries up to the apartment especially when buying a large amount of groceries. Also after 7:00 PM, its very difficult to find a parking spot in front of the apartment.

Overall, a nice apartment complex with great amenities. Management is available and on-site 6 days a week for issues. The exterior property is well maintained but unfortunately inside common areas are not as well cared for. Hallway and stairway carpets are rarely deeply cleaned and cigarette smoke and dog odors can be smelled. Smoking is permitted in individual units and porches. Smoke wafts from these areas into others apartments which is terribly offensive and unhealthy. I would not recommend the complex to anyone who is a non-smoker. Rarely does management walk around to ensure that patios look tidy and are not cluttered. Rents are high and increase yearly.

We have lived here 5 plus years and love it ...and that is because of the staff past and present....Erin is the Manager (Erin has been here before we moved in) and she is professional, efficient, smart, funny, sweet and understanding. We love her....Also I have met her new office staff (I'm sorry I don't remember all of their names but they are so nice and friendly. Also the Maintenance staff are very nice, professional and hard workers...Paul, Jim and Jeremy ... They all keep this complex in working order. Also we love it here because of how close we are to Route 3 and there are restaurants and Stop & Shop a few minutes away from us. And the apartments are beautiful...bright and open...We think this is a wonderful apartment community to live in....we wouldn't be here this long if it wasn't and there are other families who have lived here as long as we have!!

The overall appearance of our main entrence to building 600 is shaby. Door needs painting and the hall way is in need of cleaning. The right side front door of building 600 does not lock. This is a major security issue. Inside doors are unable to close property. Fire hazard.

Excellent management and maintenance staff. Both the leasing office and maintenance is prompt and responsive. They are attune to needs and patient. The grounds are beautiful and it is always a well lit place that is happy to pull into.

Very nice place to live that's pet friendly and has laundry in units with big closet space and a gym. The staff doesn't bug u and people are very polite and there is a pool onsite with a grilling area

The lease rates are very expensive here, but proximity to shopping and highways somewhat makes up for that. There seem to be an above average level of smokers in the community so if you're not willing to deal with the smell of smoke in the hallways and common areas (and in your apartment if you happen to live above them), I'd stay away. The apartments aren't bad as far as amenities go, however the management/owners really went CHEAP on the interior features. The tile in the bathroom is cheap stick on stuff that peels not long after its down, and dirt simply settles in the cracks (no grout). The pool is fairly small, but the gym is decent size for an apartmwnt complex, and offers a wide variety of equipment. Overall, I'd give this complex 2.5/5 for the value of your money.

The appliances are old and worn and should be replaced as well as cabinets. There should not be carpeting in the living room. The rent is too high for these apartments. the next town over has new apartments going up with all new stainless steal appliances, heat and hot water included and no pet fee. The community will have a pool. It is less than what we pay here.

We lived in building 400, on the first floor, for a year. We moved to Pembroke Woods from out of state, sight unseen. When we arrived we were thrilled to see how clean the apartment was. We had wonderful neighbors and were very happy there. The maintenance staff, Sam, Jim and Robbie were always available to help, even if it wasn't apartment related. The office staff was vey kind too. We had a garage which made winters very easy, as we never lifted a shovel. The rent increase did surprise us but was not the deciding factor to leave. We moved out of state again. Great amenities and very convenient to route 3.

we have been living at Pembroke Woods for close to 4 years now. We love the place. It's overall, very quiet and there seems to be some consistency with residents. We have not seen a lot of turnover, so you get to know your neighbors and we help each other out. Last year, the winter was brutal and we helped eachother shovel out our cars, etc. The facility did a good job plowing out the driveways and streets. There were no issues getting around. The apartments are nice. Its an apartment, but overall nice. Maintenance is responsive - same day. They respect your privacy and do a good job. The gym is perfect for local use and has just about all we need. We use it quite a bit given it is part of the rent. Overall, we are very happy we chose this complex.

We have been living at Pembroke Woods for about 3 Years now. Ever since the new company took over, the place has been great. The admin staff has been nothing but helpful for any problems you have or issues. I went to Erick the manager to talk to him about an issue and he turned around and made it right. Yes you are always going to have items brake but the maintenance crew is great and get the problems fixed correctly and quickly. Even in the middle of the night a member of maintenance came out to my apartment to fix the water heater. They were on site under 15 mins and fixed the problem. Couldn't ask for anything else. Good place to live.

So I have lived at Pembroke Woods for about 7 months and My experience has been very positive overall, The Staff Erik,Danielle,and Erin are always very professional and accommodating, My requests and maintenance issues are ALWAYS dealt with in a very timely fashion, the office is always approachable with any idea or issue Ive encountered, The Go To guys are Robbie and Jim, They are GREAT!! They are in charge of maintenance, The staff here is fantastic! The Grounds in the non wintery months are well groomed, the pool is always clean and maintained. The gym is perfect for fitness not for weight lifting, a few cybex machines and 6 cardio units, and small amount of free weights, very convenient to the highway,shopping and restaurants. So most of the neighbors are polite and friendly and in an apartment building there is some noise but i wouldn't say overly noisy, the apartments are cookie cutter but have a few surprises in every apt, some have computer nooks and gas fireplaces, all units have washer dryer and good sized bedrooms. I would agree the rent is on the higher side this far from Boston but Pembroke Woods is very comfortable if you work on the South Shore. over all I highly recommend Pembroke Woods.

Worst place to live! STAY AWAY!!! Just moved out and what a nightmare. People below me made so much noise we called the cops on them numerous amounts of time. They thought it was ok to smoke weed on the porch, and apparently Pembroke woods Staff thought it was ok also, since they didn't do anything about it. Aside from having to keep my door closed all the times so my house wouldn't wreak of marijuana, there were constant fights outside and people screaming at each other all through out the night. We complained to management at LEAST 5 TIMES and nothing was done. So now after 4 years we decided to leave that nightmare of a place. Rent was sky high for such an OUTDATED place. Then to top it all off they charged us extra 400 because we didn't turn in keys 3 days after our lease was up. We cleaned the place and left it immaculate and this is how they repay us?? DONT BE FOOLED by the pictures, that is not how the place looks!!! If your looking for a crappy, outdated, EXPENSIVE, nightmare of a place to live..then Pembroke Woods is right for you!

I moved to Pembroke Woods in March of 2013. I had heard that the management had changed and there were a lot of positive changes happening here. I have had a very positive experience so far. If something in the apartment needs fixing it is taken care of quickly. The maintenance crew is great! Very polite and knowledgeable. The leasing staff attends to any problem or question in a timely manner. They do the best they can while having to adhere to a large management company. My apartment was clean and well cared for when I moved in. My building is very quiet and the other residents are friendly and respectful. We help one another when needed. I only wish that it was a non smoking building. We don't have a lot of smokers but you can smell smoke sometimes. I am happy that I have a garage as sometimes it is hard to find a space to park. The pool area is great and usually quiet although when the kids are unattended they think it is the YMCA camp pool and scream and play rough.The gym has great equipment. I also like that there is a recycling dumpster! Life is very easy here and I would and have recommended other to live her. I just renewed my lease for another year.

Don't know what every one else is talking about...

I don't honestly understand the negative reviews, I can understand that the other side of the complex is a bit congested and "busier". I live in Building 1000 and have for 5 months.it is a great place to live ( and I came from a very good area of Plymouth in cedarville. On the side where I live it is very quiet as we have woods to the back and courtyard to the front. Yes close to 1300/ mo may seem like a lot for a one bedroom but it is well worth it. I've not once had an issue with parking,noise, other tenants. My partner and I work quite a bit and have long commutes but we've had enough downtime to see the true essence of the place. As for the office staff Eunice is the best she is always friendly. I understand the complex just very recently changed ownership so it should be interesting to see if things change. Also, Pembroke is a great ,safe,quaint town near pretty much everything.
