I've only lived here about three months, but so far I have not had any problems. The staff is very attentive and friendly. All my visitors have given compliments on the layout and interior design. The grounds are nice too!

The office staff at City View is second to none. I actually enjoy going into the club house to see their beautiful faces! The location of City View puts you right into the action of the city, but keeps you in the quiet neighborhood of North Kansas City. I love it here! The only negative thing I can think of here is the thin walls. I can hear my neighbors talking in their kitchen while I lay in bed. If you have bad neighbors, it might be an issue, luckily mine are great.

I lived at City View for this past year and loved it. The staff is very friendly and will get to maintenance orders in a timely fashion. The apartments are very clean, modern, and up to date. The apartment is close to the downtown North Kansas City, Macken park, and to downtown Kansas City (about 7 min. drive). I felt very safe there and never had any problems. Free high-speed internet for the 6 months and they have student discounts (5%). I was very pleased with my experience there and would definitely recommend it to anyone.

I had an excellent experience at CityView. I moved out of my house due to divorce. I needed a two bedroom apartment since my son, who went to college, was planning to move in with me. I did not have pets. The staff was very friendly and showed me an excellent apartment with a master bedroom and a second bedroom on the other side of the apartment. I moved in and enjoyed the updated kitchen and full size washer and dryer. I only had to have maintenance come out a couple times, but they were prompt, courteous and effective. I was on the ground floor, but never had an insect problem. I eventually decided I wanted to rent a townhouse with an attached garage, so I moved out. The staff manager inspected my apartment and was very professional. I received a full refund of my deposit. I highly recommend everyone to at least consider CityView for their excellent apartment layouts, convenient location and professional front desk and maintenance staff.

I would not recommend this place if you are under 50. The staff is extremely rude they make you feel like you are 12 just like if you are resident over 50 which are who they attract. They are building a new retirement living next to some of the complexes which happens to be behind mine which means at 6 am you can hear the lovely sounds of bobcats working, people hammering nails and trucks beeping while backing up, let me tell ya quite pleasant. It was nice before you move in but still expensive so it makes seem worth it but after almost a year leaving here you start noticing flaws like the paint chips really easily on the building. So they need to constantly repaint. The windows are very drafty so energy efficient is not the case you will figure that out in the summer time for sure when you realize the ac in your apartment also very loud doesn't stop working even after 10 hrs. I can literally sit here and complain for hours of even more stuff to complain about however i still live here and i am afraid when i move out at the end of the summer they will somehow charge me money for something ridiculous for complaining. Do yourself a favor don't move in to these apartments you will regret it just like i did.

i lived @ city view for 2yrs i just moved out its an OK place to live rent is very pricey, these lofts are fairly new and they are always doing some type of construction and they don't send any email's out letting you know, you just wake up to the noise, I don't know what was going on but the office sent out a letter saying they keep finding syringes arond the apartments and that was scary i don't know if someone was doing drugs or what? staff is ok --- she is ----------- and can't comprehend to well she does'nt know ANYTHING i think they may have owed someone a favor and that is why she is working there. ------- she is ok, ---- she is very rude point blank and when you move make sure you clean up very well because they charge for everything if you leave a crum, lint on the floor they charge for that and I am so serious.

I have lived at CityView for 5 years now. I love the look and feel of the loft style apartment, and the location. Those were the deal-closers for me. It is easy to get to anywhere in Kansas City since the apartments are so close to the freeways. Having downtown Kansas City so close, and the discounts at businesses in North Kansas City is also a great feature. The staff is really friendly, and very personable. Anytime I have needed something done in the apartment, they are quick to get it done. The amenities are quite nice, with the on-site gym, pool and volleyball court. Everything is kept up nicely. The complex did just finish some extensive maintenance that needed to be done due to issues with the original construction. The management did a great job of keeping everyone up to speed on it, although it did drag out longer than expected. Would probably recommend a better construction company next time. But given the amount of work that needed to be done, and having to deal with the weather, it was okay. I would definitely recommend CityView to anyone looking for a place to live.

I moved into City View in March and it was so nice and peacefull i couldnt wait to move in. Then once i did, it wasnt but 2-3 months later when the construction started to maintain the outsite of the buildings. Well i wasnt told that that was not only going to start soon, so i would wake up to random construction workers on my patio and also at my front door when im trying to leave. Also, they leave their giant lift equipment, and multiple dumpsters, along with all their supplies strewn across my parking lot for my building. Every morning to this day (9 months later) i come out to go to work to an audience of construction workers. Another issue is the dog poop bins, hot as hell in the middle of summer the bins start to smell. One is right below my deck and the stench was bothering myself, plus surrounding neighbors. I politely asked them to move it 100 ft away in an area where no apartments are but was still central to the surrounding buildings. They made a promise to come empty it twice a day, but refused to move it as if it was an issue. You would think they would do anything to keep their residents happy. Now lets move on to the fact that to pay rent you MUST pay online with an ECHECK or a credit card. Well since they accept all cards EXCEPT VISA (Which is what i have) I have to use an E Check. E Checks to not post until the next day, which happen to make my rent show up late this month. Thats a $50 late fee for the 1 day late. a little pricey when residents already pay out the --- for their units. I will tell everyone i know to stay away from these apartments. Office staff is ------ and the maintenance guy has been nothing but an a-hole.

I have lived at CityView for almost 2 months. The apartment was stellar when I moved in and the office staff and maintainence team have been very responsive to any issues. My ice maker went out on Saturday and they were here bright and early Monday morning to work on it. The maintenace supervisor really knows her stuff and she is super friendly. Being new to the area, the office staff, especially Jessica, turned me on to several places to eat, shop, etc... I have read several of the poor reviews on here and if you really look at them, it is bitter people who had to break their lease and expected to get off scott free, people who live like barbarians and expect not to have to pay for damage to the apartment. This place is great, the rules are enforced and this helps keep the bad element out of the complex. It is sometimes hard to find a parking spot which is mostly due to people not knowing how to parallel park (me included), tough with a large vehicle! The grounds are well maintained and the color schemes of the apartments are awesome. Keep up the good work!! Thank you!!

"Love where you live" is not just a saying for City View. We do love where we live. My husband and I moved in late summer from Johnson county where we had lived in a house for the last 15 years. The floor plan of our apartment is well thought out with nice storage spaces in a modern yet homey feel. The roman over-sized tubs in both bathrooms are wonderful! We are now down to the two of us and decided to try something different and couldn't be happier. The location is excellent and within walking distance to North Kansas City's downtown area, which is host to many restaurants, shops and entertainment. From the moment we walked in the door for our tour, the staff shared their enthusiasm and gave us a warm and welcome feeling. You could just feel the excitement that they have for such a wonderful well-maintained complex. We love everything from the well-manicured grass and flowers outside and in the common areas to our beautiful apartment which looks brand new. We have a real sense of community here with a wonderful variety of people. You can join in or be as quiet as you want. Maintenance is very efficient when needed. We would highly recommend City View to anyone wanting to be proud of where they live. The only negatives are that there is not enough garage space for all and no car ports. Also, we were very disappointed to find out we couldn't rent the club house. But as you can see, our list of concerns are very small and we are very proud to call City View our home.

We have lived at City View for almost a year now and have no plans of ever leaving. We weren't sure how we would like living in an apartment community, we've always lived in houses for the last 15 years. I can't tell you how happy we are to be here! We love it here. Our apartment is beautiful, and has lovely design elements. The laundry in our unit is convenient and even has a room for a small drink fridge we used to keep in our garage. The kitchen is well laid out and we love the the breakfast bar. The two bedrooms are on opposite sides of the unit so it makes the guest room seem like it's own private wing. It is true, there have been some construction issues but the management and maintenance team are going above and beyond to fix those problems. Last week, I had to make and deliver a wedding cake from home. They management and maintenance team were kind enough to stop the workmen for the morning around my building so I could load it safely into my car without worrying. The other minor maintenance issues we've had have all be repaired swiftly and effectively. All in all, we do LOVE where we live and plan to stay here for many years. Thanks so much CityView! My husband and I moved to CityView after being homeowners for many years. We were really unsure of how much we would like apartment living after so many years in a private residence, but we have enjoyed living here much more than we ever hoped! We love our apartment, with its many amenities and architectural details. We have skylights, crown molding, a fireplace, and large rooms and windows. We have also enjoyed the grounds and public amenities, such as the pool, the clubhouse, bicycles, and grounds. We don't have a car and have found it very convenient to get around town by walking or using public transportation. The apartment management and office staff are always friendly and helpful and the maintenance staff has addressed the small issues we have had in a very timely manner. The neighborhood is very quiet and we have felt entirely safe here. There has been some construction noise over the summer, with painters and carpenters working on the outside of the building. But that just means the apartments are being maintained nicely! We also love that so many tenants have pets! It adds to the nice community atmosphere! We enjoy living here and we plan on living at CityView for many years!

I've lived at CityView for about 5 1/2 years. I'm very happy with my experience here. They offer great amenities, the apartments are nice, the location is great, and the office staff is always very helpful. I think my favorite amenity is the full size washer and dryer in my apartment. It's so nice to not have to lug all of my laundry to the laundromat and back. My second favorite amenity is the availability of a garage. No more freezing to death while I scrape snow and ice off of my car. I'd move here again if given a second chance.

Love these apartments! I recently toured City View! I am scheduled to move in next month and I couldn't be more excited! They are close to my work, and I the apartment they showed me was gorgeous. I had a great experience with their office staff and I think this is going to be a good move for me.

I have lived here since May 2012 and am very impressed with the overall appeal of these apartments. I lived in a four-plex prior to renting here and overall, this property is so much nicer. The staff is constantly maintaining the buildings and whenever I need something replaced/repaired, the response is very quick and never longer than 24 hours. I feel very safe here and the breeze-ways and buildings have great outside lighting. I have a garage that I absolutely LOVE and was glad this property offered these. Lastly, I am thrilled CityView allows small animals (many places don't) and it's great there are "dog waste" cans located conveniently throughout the property. Overall, I would highly recommend this property.

Its a good place. I have seen a some bad reviews and it surprises me. My guess is that these people are not used to living in apartments? I have lived all over town, mostly in Westport and Downtown and for me it does a good job, (if not better than some of the places I have lived) of staying consistently maintained. The staff are all really helpful and great. All very nice people. As far as the apartment itself goes, eh, ---- breaks from time to time, but its an apartment... that's what happens. When it does happen, they fix it fast. No complaints there. Another big plus is that that I CANT hear my neighbors. The walls are NOT paper thing like so many I have had in the past. Again I have lived in a lot of different apartments and strangely enough lived here the longest so far. While I will probably leave after this lease is up, its only because I want a house.

This day I have started the day with a walk at Macken Park, then on to the dog groomer, the bank, the post office and then a trip to Liberty Hospital. After the hospital it is dinner time and fun to choose from the many eateries around Noarth Kansas City. Tonight I finish off with a meeting in Riverside and return to CityView knowing that I have been able to scoot around town and accomplish all this due to the convenience of where I live - CityView. At the end of a day I appreciate the quiet smalltown atmosphere of home at CityView. The property is managed quite professionally and I have not been disap[pointed in my decision to move here 2 1/2 years ago.

I recently moved into Cityview apartments but have had friends living here for over a year. I absolutely love these apartments. Location is great (you can get anywhere in KC in under 20 min) and I feel super safe. Im a big runner and with Macken Park right down the road its very convienent. The staff here have been super helpful, especially Jessica who can remember each tennant here by name. The apartments themselves are very clean, modern, and come with full size washer and dryers :) The pool is always clean and its a very active and friendly, young community. Ive met a lot of really nice people already. I searched for 2 months for an apartment and I definately made the right choice.

I have lived here for a year & I am getting ready to renew my lease. I truly do love it here. I have a studio & it is awesome. It is so quiet, I love the fact that I have no neighbors above or below me & all of the windows. I'm happy with the maintenance & the office staff, everyone is always so friendly & willing to help.

I live at CityView and feel for the staff regarding the number of negative reviews. When I first started looking at apartments, I jumped on this site to see what people had to say. When I mentioned the number of bad reviews, Jessica explained that after 7 years approximatley 1% of the population have something negative to say.Unfortunately, the ones who are upset are the only ones that have the time to write a review. This totally makes sense. My experience has been that they truly do everything in their power to make you feel at home and comfortable. The office staff is very friendly and the maintenance staff has responded to my work order requests in a timely manner. It is too bad they are undergoing construction due to the many mistakes the original builder made. The positive is that they care enough to make it right. The location is great for me since I work downtown and having Quik Trip right in my back yard is a HUGE plus!
