Since I've moved in I like that I can enjoy peace and quiet. Hope that continues to be a part of my experience. I only have an issue with the door in one of the bedrooms, and the sliding door. Other than that I'm happy with my apartment and with the staff. They have been very helpful and serviceable.

I'm very pleased with the apartment staff. I lived in a 3 bedroom with my wife and kids for the last 3 years and I had no complaints with the apartment. I love the location close to the light rail and Harris teeter. I recommend Aspen Peak.

We have no complaints living here at Aspen Peaks apartments. The rental office is very responsive to our needs, and the people in the rental office are very friendly. Our neighbors are quiet, and the parking is good.

Most of the staffs are not responsible for renters who live in Aspen Peak. I made the mistake to live in Aspen peak. Staffs and Managements do not take care of their responsible. Bad neighborhood. Very noisy.

I do not recommend Aspen Peak. My apartment was older and repairs were weekly and rarely ever resolved. Even if you Re fortunate enough to get a renovated aparment, there is more than average police presence....we didnt feel safe.

i like the location of the complex and i have not had any problems living here. The staff is great and my neighbors have been good people as well. Like i said before i don't make good money and my rent have gone up $97.00 in two years. i have to think long and hard if i can afford to live here beyond this year. i haven't gotten my renewal notice yet and i'm afraid whats going to be offered to me.

I would not recommend this place to anyone.the rent goes up every year.the apartments are severly damaged and falling apart.i ve had two drug dealing neighbors that took a year to get evicited even after calling cops several times from them smoking pot outside while im sitting there with my kids.not to mention they stole an I pad from us.the kids here run around all times of night stand in the street when you are trying to pass by,displaying their upbringing from quality parenting no doubt.the pool is small and usually leave with a rash afterwards from the dirty water.the only good thing I see here is a few maintenace people who do care and help out getting rid off all the bad element.they have a new manager now, again who is trying to make a name for herself and is very hard to talk to/really snobby,i will never live here again.

Worst community ever! Maintenance takes several days to fix things, when I say several days I mean weeks and if it's something like a leak it takes then about 3 days and their excuse since my move in is they're understaffed. Buildings not well maintain. This is just bad

A very nice community to live in, but repairs and outdated fixtures need to be up graded in all apartments. With all the new communities being built the property is fairly behind in upgrades. fencing the property should be look into.

I have been here for about 3 months already know that I will not be renewing my lease. Maintenance is terrible. They ignore your service request and multiple calls to the office. I have called about my refrigerator issues 3 times and submitted request twice with no response. You would think that with what we pay in rent, the requests would at least be addressed in a decent amount of time.

I am currently a resident here and I will NOT be renewing my lease. This property has been nothing but a headache since day one. When I first applied to the property I waited almost a month to find out if I was approved for the apartment. After calling the office several times over a 2-3 week time span, I finally had to contact the corporate office and speak with the regional manager who had to force the property manager to process my application. After about a month of living here I came home one night and discovered that I did not have any water due to some digging that took place earlier in the day. I called the 24 hour maintenance line around 930pm, and was told that I would have to wait until the next morning to have the issue checked. I had NO running water at all, and I told the maintenance staff that I did not have time to wait because I had to leave for work at 7am and needed to be able to take a shower. I also told them that if I had to miss work the complex would need to reimburse me for my lost wages for the day. They were still trying to refuse to come out and fix the issue, and only came out when I threatened to call corporate the next day. The maintenance supervisor finally showed up at 2am and fixed the water issue. The next and most recent issue that I have had to deal with was having my vehicle that is on my lease towed. I came outside one morning and found a bright orange sticker stuck to my window stating that my car (a 2007 Honda Civic in perfect working condition that I drive every single day) would be towed in 2 days if I did not go to the DMV to pay the registration. I spoke to a leasing agent in the office who told me that he would email the towing company and tell them not to tow my vehicle. Needless to say my vehicle was towed and I had to pay $120 to get it back, and not to mention I had to miss a 1/2 day of work because of this issue. The complex staff claims that the management company does not get any % of the fee that their residents have to pay the towing company, but I am sure that s a lie! DO NOT MOVE HERE! This place is a headache and not worth the hassle. I have lived in several complexes in south Charlotte, and this by far is the worst experience that I have ever had. After dealing with this place, I think I am DONE with apartments!

Very pissed!! The snow storm was here Wednesday. It's Friday and they have not attempted to clear the roads so we can get to work!! We are all pissed!! This is the email received and no one can move their cars. SMH!! Dear Residents, We hope everyone is enjoying their snow day! Aspen Peak will be snow plowing if needed after the snow stops. Please be careful navigating on the slick roads and sidewalks. Also, from today, 2/11/14 through 2/13/14 please maintain your apartment during this winter storm by opening cabinet doors and letting faucets drip. Thank you, Aspen Peak Staff

I am about to leave after 2 years of living here. its all true as far as the amount of stray cats running around the property. The chick next store was actually feeding them. actually putting the food on a dish under my balcony. after I busted her she tells all her visitors how im mean and hate animals. I have had the same leaky faucet for over a year until I put in my own washer. Two weeks ago the apartment upstairs water heater broke. my place got flooded. all I asked was for them to clean up the water. my place smell so damp I went away for a few days. came back and it was still wet. I stopped by the office and they haven't even put in the service request. I was told since your leaving in 7 weeks they didn't think I would mind. the carpet cleaners came the next day. the ceiling is still stained in both the bedroom and hallway. my schedule varies so one morning I saw the people who cut the grass on my balcony trimming a tree. he looked in the window and told me my apartment is nice. thanks overall im glad im leaving.

Don't live here! Do yourself a huge favor and conduct research on this community. The leasing office staff is very pleasant during the application process and move-in. Once you have maintenance issues(and you will!) they do not want to deal with you. I have been residing here for two months and moved here because the apartment complex is close to the train and my work. Big mistake! During my first weekend(in early January), the apartment would not heat properly. I submitted a request to have it looked at and it was never fixed. Whenever the weather was freezing out, the apartment was COLD! I've submitted four service requests and the heating unit is still not repaired. And my energy bill was nearly $200 for the first month! I'm single, live here alone and spend 12 hours of the day at work. At first sight of that energy bill, you would think a family of four lived here. The heating unit just runs, runs and runs while blowing out cold air. I sat down with the property manager and she says that we must wait until next month to see a trend. It will be spring season and getting warm soon. I regret ever stopping by this place. Please do not let the model apartment they show you during their presentation mislead you. The apartments are old, appliances are old and your electric bill will be high! RUN WHILE YOU CAN.

I'm sorry but the best thing I can say about this place is the proximity to my job. Other than that, I live on the third floor, and I can hear noise all the way from the first floor. Very loud neighbors, The staff i usually helpful but multiple things have had to be repaired that were supposed to be "New" when I moved in. The maintenance used to be very helpful, but they've been in here so much to repair things I feel like now they just come in, look at stuff, eat food and touch things, and leave. Two things that I have complained about have yet to be fixed. VERY noisy and inconsiderate neighbors downstairs who blast their music. Newsy neighbors who seem to have some ulterior motives. The entry way has been used to have some type of party involving a pi ata. Parking is usually okay, unless the partying neighbors decide to invite their 5 thousand friends over, who park in the grass. I think charging for pet rent is outrageous, especially after already paying a pet fee. What the hell is it being used for? It really depends on who you speak to in the office whether they will be helpful or not. I do like the fact that packages are accepted for tenants. I will be moving out very soon, and idk it could just be my building , but if someone asked me should they move in, I would say no.

Do yourself a favor and RUNNNNNN, press the gas peddle, just keep going. This place is despicable!!!(in my daffy duck voice). Money hungry, marketing strategy used they camouflaged the old broke down buildings by slapping some paint on the outside then have the nerves to charge rediculous prices for rent. For light fixtures up generally means on, yes? Ehhhehhh you flip the switch up the POS turns off reaally though???. Countertops are so ancient everything you rest will stain it. You will not get your monies worth this is HELL on Earth. Most of us would think that the tennis court is to play Tennis right? Well hell naw! you have asinines that ignore the rules and bring their pets on the tennis court to run around. Speaking of pets, an older lady in the end building by the Office for some strange reason thinks she lives in a fkn rescue village feeding a whole bunch of wayward cats causing them to stick around and rome the parking lots. I am sooooo glad to be gone, I wouldn't recommend a single soul to live in this disgrace.
