ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!

I absolutely love it here. When I was looking for a place to move, i just was trying to be close to work. I didn’t care what the place looked like or nothing. When I came to take a tour, the first girl in the office was so nice. Offering snacks, drinks and candy she had in her jar ( I loveeeee nerds lol). She showed me the apartment and I just knew it was gonna be my new home. I been loving it ever since!!

Pleasurable Living

I recently had the pleasure of living at Sommerset Place Apartments, and I can confidently say it has been one of the best decisions I've ever made! From the moment I moved in, the staff has been incredibly welcoming and attentive, making the entire process seamless. The apartments themselves are spacious, beautifully designed, and filled with natural light. The modern amenities, including a well-equipped gym, a sparkling pool, and a cozy community lounge, truly enhance the living experience. I also appreciate the beautifully landscaped grounds, which provide a peaceful oasis right outside my door. What really sets Sommerset Place part is the sense of community that permeates the complex. The location is another huge plus! It’s conveniently situated near shopping, dining, and parks, making it easy to enjoy everything the area has to offer. Great First Home

Sommerset was a great first home after my wife and I got married. We have been here for 2 1/2 years. It is at a very convenient location with being 3 miles away from I-440 and 3 miles away from I-540. I never had any issues with the neighbors and when something would break it was a quick turnaround. Over the past 2.5 years they have upgraded the washer and dryers, upgraded the thermostats, and a few other items within the apartment. The staff were always nice and ready to help. Great place and highly recommend.

I haven’t lived here long but during the time I’ve been here the staff Lauren and Linda are great. They are very professional and polite and each time I call or walk through the door I am greeted with a smile. They handle everything you need in a timely manner and do not question anything you ask of them. I look forward to living here for a few years.

I've have nothing but issues with this place since day 1. There a bugs and spiders webs everywhere, even with the "pest control" being done every week. There was several issues upon moving in intially that were simple move-in maintenance duties, including a screen door completely off of its hinges to the balcony. The water is turned off for the entire complex at least once every two weeks or so (which, is interesting considering I'm sure if we did not pay the water bill, they would turn off our individual water to our unit, but some how maintenance requires ALL units to be shut off for at least 8-9 hours out of the day for one leaky bathroom in an apartment nowhere near mine). The maintenance people don't even know what they're doing half of the time, and have to have other maintenance people from other companies come to fix their mistakes. The valet trash people are lazy and rip your trash bags and leave trash all outside of your door, accompanied by hand written notes telling YOU what YOU supposed to go in the trash, even though you HAVE to pay a monthly fee for It, regardless of if you even utilize It or not. It's just one thing after another after another. The one good thing about this place is the location, and close proximity to just about anything food/shops wise.That's what get the 1 star, otherwise if I could give 0, I would. I've stayed in student housing up until moving into my very first "real" apartment here, and knowing what I now know, I know what to look for in my next one to be sure I never end up in a place like this again. All of the stress is not even worth it.

The staff is super friendly and helpful. One issue is the lady above me is super loud. It gets annoying at night trying to sleep while she is jumping and stomping. I love the improvement projects that you are doing.

Apartment has been serviced, and I abide peaceful in it. The complex has been here for a long time, and major and minor problems now fixed, due to knowledgeable management and workers. Rodents and creepy crawlers are gone. Thanks for all that you do.

I've been here two months and I already want to move out. The new manager has been very helpful. maintenance is horrible, they never fully finish a job or they do and its a bad job and not worth them coming back to fix it because it wasn't done right the first time. My door in my kitchen doesn't fit the cut out of the wall,and when we complained about it when we first moved in. They flipped the door around. There isn't enough parking any more and there is always glass or broken mirrors on the sidewalks.

My experience at Sommerset Place has been great. The few issues I had when I first moved in were quickly resolved after Drucker and Falk took over. The apartments are well maintained and their 24 hr maintenance are always quick to respond. The office staff are always friendly and they seem to really care about their residents. Also, you can't beat the location. Especially for the price!

Worst place I've ever lived. ROACHES!! ROACHES!! ROACHES!! Grounds are not kept up - breezeways are DISGUSTING - pet waste all over the place - maintenance is a joke. No ceiling fans - No bath exhaust fans - Popcorn ceilings - HVAC unit is SO loud you have to turn up the volume on your TV to drown out the motor. DO NOT MOVE HERE!

Been here less than a year and seen two major office staff changes: first one was terrible. The staff used to be knowledgable and friendly and were replaced by mindless automatons. The new staff seem friendly and aware again so that's a good change. Maintenance is pretty quick for major issues, and they've become more respectful as there have been more people with dogs move in. Overall if I'm generous a 3 out of 5 due to the staff changes. Supposed to be getting a dog park so that would solidify the 3 for me. Grounds need to be kept up more (grass, trash, etc) and the walk ways aren't well maintained. They should probably have someone go out and just inspect the property every month or two.

I've had many issues; some have been out of their control: whasher and dryer fitting (my unit only), yellow jackets living in my walls, pool closing for painting or repairs without notice, neighbors extremely loud. Since Drucker and Falk took over management, things have improved.

Sommerset is a quiet apartment complex that is located on one of the busiest streets. I tend to forget where we are located due to the quiet and safe community. Sommerset is located near the police station, popular restaurants, and shopping centers.
