I had an excellent experience renting at the 70 Columbus building. The staff are friendly, efficient, and respond in a timely manner. The other tenants are very friendly and the building hosts events regularly, like pool parties, yoga classes and outdoor movies. Living here makes me regret all the time I spent renting in Brooklyn, from scammy landlords.

Been here over 7 years. Haven't had any problems yet. Comfortable, clean, staff is helpful. Building is in a prime location (the main reason why I've stated so long). Prices are currently on par with the rest of rents out there.

Overall I am very frustrated. I had a water leak in my apartment for 6 months and the building did not provide any concession or good will for the inconvenience. This is very unprofessional and not good customer support

I just moved in and everything is perfect in the apartment although I received a unit with a dent in my refrigerator, it is also loud. I have had trouble getting the refrigerator fixed or replaced. Apartment is quiet, elevators are fast, amenities are nice, convenient parking garage.

I have had an excellent experience making this apartment and building my home. While I have not gotten to know many of my neighbors, I still feel a strong sense of community through resident events and especially with the staff, who greet me and chat every day.

Lucy and John were so helpful! Lucy, one of the leasing office members, was so helpful and the apartments are so well maintained. The amenities and the deco of the place make it feel as if you're living in a beautiful hotel, and yet when you step into your apartment, you are home! This building and its amenities, coupled with the amazing responsiveness of the maintenance and leasing office team, is giving me serious doubts about moving into a house in 5 years! I'm beginning to wonder if I'll ever want to leave my hotel with playroom and PATH train downstairs. I'm beginning to wonder if I'll ever want to leave the weekly farmers' market just 2 minutes away, and the quietness of living on the 21st floor, but having everything I need just 2 minutes away.

Value of rent to apartment. There can be more done to level set the value of the rent to quality of the building. Also the office staff is impossible to get in contact with, especially when an issue needs to be resolved.

It's pretty nice community overall. But sometimes you can meet one representative who is rude and disrespectful in term of race. Also, the rent is increasing dramatically these years. Except for these two, all good here for this community.

I've had a fantastic experience living at 70 Columbus over the last four years! You can't beat the location, amenities, and value you receive from living in this building. I highly recommended living at the Columbus Collection!

These apartments are not smoke free, a lot of smokers live here, smoking inside of there apartments, spoiling apartments for future residents and worsening air quality for their neighbors as smoke penetrates to nearby apartments very easily. Also, the entrance door to the building is very very hard to open, and is a real challenge when you need to go out or in with a stroller, or when you hands are not free. This door should have a option to open automatically

70 Columbus is at the heart of Jersey City, at a walkable distance to everything; school, parks, groceries, mall, train station and what not. We wanted to live in the city and I could say there is no better option than this. I have a 7 year old kid and the amenities with in the apartment are enough to keep her engaged; play room, outdoor sports, ping pong etc.

Great place to stay close to path , grocery stores , NJMC and eatouts. Best part about the apartment building is that they provided Base membership as part of amenities which adds tones of value to your fitness goals. I love being closer to the city hence the location is best of both of worlds. The rental prices are bit high though.

Management is not responsive and not helpful. They are not trying to serve the tenants better but to make their own life easier by sacrificing tenants' benefit or convenience. Amenity fee is way too high comparing to the limited amenities there are. There are issues of lost packages, constant water stop, etc.

Appearance of the apartment is great, so is the 8th floor common area. Internally, within the apartment unit there are improvement opportunities. The ACs have cold air drafts coming in during the winter months. Also, management should communicate charges and other fees with at least automated emails to disclose what they are about instead of a tenant inquiring about them.

70 Columbus is a great community, the building is clean, Consierge service, maintenance all are great services. Shared common areas: pool, basketball court, grill area are also a plus. Location, yes!

I have nothing but great things to say about this building and staff. We have been well taken care of since moving into this building. We are also very close to the PATH, great restaurants and having a gym next store has been an added bonus.

The apartment itself has so many issues. The window has issue and there is no signal when calling. The community itself is great. I love watching people walk their dogs on the 8th floor and getting know them more.

70 Columbus was one of about 10 apartments we've toured in Jersey City, and we are glad we chose it. The building is well kept, there's daily staff keeping common areas clean, the concierge staff is great, maintenance always came same day (had very minor issues that were fixed fast), and the dog park is the best one around here.

So far so good. However, my keys were not available when I moved in. I was told I could pick them up at anytime but that was not the case. I had movers coming and they needed to wait for me to get access which was very inconvenient and was not what had been agreed upon.

Great community and maintenance staff. Rent could be better for those in good standing. I've been here for years now and my rent has always gone up by the maximum, even though I have been a good tenant. Overall it is a good place to live.
