      The community is located near Hroun Park and Sylvania's main street. Any issues encountered in the apartment have been resolved very quickly by the staff. There is a nice swimming pool and gym in the club hall as well as a welcoming entrance. I would recommend some to my friends.

        Maintenance and office staff are always helpful, informative, and friendly. You can count on both to be there when you need them. Henry & Jaime do an amazing job keeping up with the apartment all together and ensuring each home is perfect for current and new residents, and also great at answering problems when on call. Beth and Tim are also a great team and care about the residents questions/concerns, as well as finding creative ways for the community to get together.

        SOMO Flats is in the best location for walkability to Downtown Sylvania and is on the Sylvania River Trail which a beautiful walking/biking trail. The apt includes all amenities - washer/dryer, dishwasher, disposal, tall windows, beautiful countertops and flooring, excellent closet space and underground parking is an option as well as additional storage space. The pool, fitness center, community room, grill area and fire pit are all wonderful spaces. All of the staff at SOMO Flats are so friendly, knowledgeable and responsive. I have no regrets downsizing over two years ago to SOMO Flats.

          Good location. Great staff. The pool and the off leash dog area are great. Convenient walking trails in the back of the apartment complex. Stuff is very helpful,. Only problem is that the trash is very restricted. No dumpster to drop off large bags

            Quiet, safe, new, modern amenities including options for greenbelt views, windows and floorplans. The leasing staff was very responsive, kind and informative. Leasing staff was clearly experienced with what renters would be looking for or need even when we didn't know what to expect. (First time renters)

                  I enjoy residing here. Very convenient location to shopoing areas on Monroe Street. My fur-child enjoys the local parks where he can frolics and bark at squirrels & chipmunks. Only downside is the parking wars in the evening.

                    SOMO FLATS is a wonderful place to live. The office staff is very caring and easily approachable. The maintenance staff responds quickly to your needs. They are courteous and very respectful, too. The garbage service is a very nice benefit. I have lived in many apartments over the years and feel SOMO FLATS are the best apartments I have lived in.

                      I like this Community and for me the only thing that would make me extremely happy is the berber carpet in the den and bedroom. The neighbors are nice, the management team is always prompt addressing any needs I may have.

                        This is a beautiful community in a great location. Management has spent a lot of time and energy on making this area gorgeous. Parking is available in the garage for an extra fee (that I believe is too high). Parking outside is next to impossible if you come home after 9 pm. Besides parking and construction on monroe street it is a great plce to live and it is well maintained

                            DON'T RENT HERE! THEY MICROMANAGE YOU - monitor your personal activity and restrict visitors to your "home" to 2 days per month! They don't tell you that when going over rental agreement. They monitor if you have anyone staying in your apartment/parking in parking lot! They bait and switch you. Rent raised $100 after first year - now it is going up $400-500! Nothing new has been done since year one...

                              Thank you for your response. We apologize that you feel as if we haven't met your expectations. Please know that the communication sent was in the best interest of our Residents. We were contacted in regards to SOMO Residents parking in that area and were asked to notify our Residents. That area belongs to the City of Sylvania and we don't want any SOMO Residents to be fined or towed. Our pricing is determined by what is called the AIRM pricing system. It's a Revenue Management System. We are more than happy to explain how it operates if you'd like to stop in the office. We'd also like to explain that policies and procedures such as the garbage cans in the halls after 9am, the swim bands being in the pool area with you, and adults needing to be on the lease in order to live in the Community, are in place to allow the Residents to have a pleasant living experience here. We explain these policies at the time of move in so that you are aware of what to expect. Unfortunately, enforcing those policies aren't always well received. It does seem as though their might be some miscommunication as far as visitors parking and needing to wear your swim wristbands. We would love to have a conversation about this if you'd like to stop in the office. Please feel free to do so at anytime. Thank you!

                              Nice location if you're willing to pay the inflated price. Poor upkeep of grounds and interior hallways, entrances. Not enough parking spaces which requires use of the public lot at the corner. No security.

                                We love our apartment community. It is new. It has a pool and fitness center. It has a nature Sylvania community walking trail and is in walking distance of the downtown Sylvania restaurants and shops. SOMO Flats holds activities for its residents on occasion.

                                      I was so excited to move into this apartment. It was new and in a great location. The park behind is AMAZING. Overall it is a beautiful place, but the rules will make you feel like a grounded teenager on house arrest. A few bad apples in staffing really have ruined this experience for me, and make me NOT recommend this place to anyone.

                                        Positives: This community is new, beautiful, high quality, conveniently located, well maintained and has great amenities. The executive suite is a great resource, make sure to check it out. The workout room is amazing, great equipment, beautiful views. The park and walking path is amazing all year round. Negatives: Parking, parking parking. They definitely don't have enough and it WILL make you mad at some point. Deliveries are a pain because office doesn't receive anything and there are often no options to figure out how to make sure you're getting packages. The garbage is a challenge because if it doesn't fit in your apartment issued garbage can or in the garbage shoot, you have to find a place to dump it off site. There's also no recycling. Lastly, the price. It's just so expensive. But I love it so much that I'm willing to pay more but I'm constantly looking at other options. But no other place comes close to this place so I'm staying for a while.
