My husband and I moved to SOMO Flats as soon as they started accepting residents and we have no intentions of leaving for quite some time! SOMO had a lot to offer; brand new pool, an amazing gym that is completely up to date and it's BEAUTIFUL, walking trails and all that downtown sylvania has to offer in walking distance! Not to mention the food trucks and events that SOMO offers throughout the year! Management is amazing, extremely friendly and welcoming. They genuinely care about their residents and the property. Take a tour and see for yourself?you will not be disappointed

    Very professionally run community. Friendly and efficient communication. Beautiful facility and location. Great maintenance staff. Wonderful waking path. Feel very comfortable and safe here. A great place to call home while my home is being restored.

      Great location in a community oriented community, steps from downtown Sylvania. There are amazing amenities such as a great walking trail, very clean fitness center, a pool and community fire pit. I also love the modern look to my apartment.

              Ive noticed the parking is limited, but the staff and neighbors have been great so far. Good location close to shops and stores and a very well kept property. Evenings are quiet and maintenance is well maintained

                Nice & safe apartment community but very pricey. Pet friendly. Parking is absolutely awful not enough parking spaces especially at night. Moving in is very difficult because of the location of the elevators.

                        Great location. Dog lovers really seem to enjoy living here. The community trail that runs behind the building is a huge bonus. Appliances could be higher end. My 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath unit is a very open floor plan and when the windows are open, the cross breeze is amazing.

                          These are beautiful apartments with all of the amenities. A little pricey but the quality is there and the maintenance staff is attentive if there is ever an issue. Centrally located to downtown Sylvania, it is perfect for a single or a family.

                            The apartment and the neighborhood is nice however the rent is expensive and does not provide the value you are paying for. Everything is extra and you cannot opt out of any service. Parking spots are extremely limited and I often struggle to find a parking after 8 pm. Garage parking rates are outrageous on top of expensive rent. Maintenance is quick to respond to your issues.

                              Apartment itself is nice. Area is convenient. Parking is absolutely terrible if you come home past 7:30pm. The ease of anything here is difficult. Not enough chairs at the pool for the amount of residents at the community.

                                I have gotten complaints about the "noise" coming from my apartment. I have two pups, and I cannot control every little thing that they do. I also cannot stay at home all day for fear of someone complaining about my fur babies. Someone left a note on my door, stating that I need to give my dogs Benadryl. Really? Being told to medicate my dogs is like me telling someone to give Benadryl to their baby because they will not stop crying or running around, making noise. If I am getting complaints and end up being "punished" for something that is not 100% under my control, I feel targeted and not welcomed in a community that I pay a decent amount for. There was also a point in time when someone stole my trash bin and brought it all the way down the hall. I was able to retrieve it, but still an inconvenience. Right now, I am not pleased with my experience here. I mind my own business, and I expect people to do the same. Thank you.

                                  Incredibly safe, reliable, clean, environment with plenty to do at the complex and in the surrounding community. SOMO is beautiful and well designed, and with any issues the management/maintenance are able to promptly resolve them. As first time apartment renters, it's been absolutely perfect. SOMO is a great place to live.

                                    It is a beautiful community, the building I live in sits immediately next to a creek and a stream and it is very quiet. The parking is not ample however, and moving into the building was an absolute nightmare; the design of walkways, entrances and exits is not ideal.

Poor to nonexistent communication, misleading or completely incorrect answers to resident questIons, poor follow through on concerns. Seemed great to be here until seasoned management team all left at the same time.

                                          Nice apartments in a great location! Nice amenities, including a great gym, pool, billiards table, outdoor fire pit & business center. Beautiful views of the 10-mile creek with easy access to the walking trail.

                                            Brand new apartments, with nice layouts and well maintained common areas. Bedrooms are okay sizes, bathrooms and closest as spacious. Really great staff that are very communicative. Most of the balconies aren't particularly private, and some appear quite tight, but most are a decent size. Have not used clubhouse or gym, pool has not been available, but all look fine. Pricey, but so far worth it for location.

                                                  This is an absolutely ideal apartment community. The community's staff is well-schooled in customer relations, extremely responsive to your every need, proactive in offering new services (food trucks, e.g.). The maintenance team seems to be able to fix anything, and responds promptly. The location is close to anything you would ever need--restaurants, pharmacies, a hospital, banks, scenic walking trails--most, in fact, within walking distance and without ambient noise. Can't say enough good things about the amenities, including a pool, Fitness Center with brand new equipment, valet trash service. I don't think one could find anything comparable in the area.
