This is a very friendly and respectful community. Very pet friendly, and close to restaurants, bars and small town businesses. Extremely close to all grocery stores, auto shops, and attractions such as Mt. Gretna and 25min from Harrisburg

Love the apartment, the tall ceilings make it feel very spacious. Enjoy the washer/dryer in unit. Find the fitness center convenient but could use some upgrades as well as the courtyard. Parking is never an issue. It is within walking distance of shops and great restaurants.

I like the building. It has character that makes is different than others I've lived in. The staff is nice and helpful. My apartment is small, but it is what I can afford. I was able to bring my cat which is one of the reasons I chose to move here. I can walk to work which is a plus.

All of the apartments just got brand appliances, cabinets, counters, and carpet. The shower head was broken when I first moved in but after submitting a form for it to get fixed, it was fixed that same day. The staff is always available if you were to need any kind of help.

It was also pretty bad how the snow was handled. I pay all this money and the parking lot wasn't even plowed... The office staff is rude. Rent is way too expensive. It takes 9 times for maintenance to fix something. I don't enjoy people coming in my apartment 9 different times.

The building seems to be improving greatly recently, especially with making the apartments non-smoking. My low rating in the "neighborhood" category is only because this is Elizabethtown and has nothing to do with the building

I enjoy the apartment being within walking distance of many shops downtown. Not to mention the Amtrak station close by for making trips. The staff is exceptional and always willing to help and go out of their way to make sure you are taken care of.

These apartments are fantastic with the exposed beams and features such as a washer and dryer. Utility bills are the lowest I've had in apt living. The manger at the complex is EXTREMELY helpful and has her residents best interests in mind. I don't plan on going anywhere new as long as I'm in Central PA.

The large windows are very nice. However, the appliances and cabinets, flooring, etc. are outdated. Overpriced for location and amenities. The on-site gym is dirty and looks completely uninviting. Overall, this is not a place I would recommend.

The staff has been very friendly throughout the whole move in process. The apartments are great and feel so much larger with the 11 foot ceilings. Food and fun are also with-in walking distance from the apartments. The large windows in the apartment bring in ample amounts of light and fresh air.

Everyone here has gone above and beyond to make me feel welcome and part of the community. Great building with lots of unique character. I would recommend this building to anyone else who wants to live outside of the cookie cutter apartment complex.

Management at this complex is exceptional. The manager was very accommodating. The leasing process was painless. Very flexible leasing options. The pet policy is a plus. Would highly recommend this complex to friends and family. Great find!

We've lived here for 6 months and there's a lot more bad than good. Where to start with the bad? First I'll start with what could have been a great feature to the complex, the gym. Truly a cesspool of germs, snot and sweat. What appears to be a simple workout room is more like a breeding ground for the potentially sick. Not a cleaning wipe for months so we've had to bring our own to wipe down equipment. You'll clearly see drip stains of salty residues on the machines, free weights and mats. And who knows when the last time it was vacuumed or deep cleaned. Simply turn on the lights and view the filth. No cleaning crew. Disgusting. As for the apartments well those are a whole different list of headaches. First, the appliances are nearly 40 YEARS OLD!!!! The dryer is lousy and won't dry a large load for almost 2 hours. Between having the fridge on and using the stove, washer and dryer regularly you'll rack up nearly a $90/month utility bill. That's without using cool air/heat. Ridiculously inefficient. We came in to the apartment with a stained nasty tub and found out later by maintenance that the unit was never cleaned. Pissed us off. A few of the plug-ins aren't working. Winter parking can be a problem since they don't plow till the snows frozen over the ground with no salting or graveling. We slide out trying to leave the lot. Dangerous. The windows, though beautiful, are cracking peeling, ridiculously drafty and will suck cold air right in. I've never gotten my unit beyond 60 degrees on a 30 degree day leaving the place frosty cold and terribly uncomfortable. Don't count on getting enough hot water to clean dishes, laundry, and shower at the same time since each tank is half the size of an average household water tank. One of the features the leaser will pridefully express is the internet included which is TERRIBLE. Internet speeds are slower than dial up and cuts out all the time. It's so bad it even went down out during our leasing arrangement. What could have been a great feature is a cheap trick to lure college students to move in. Streaming videos is nearly impossible without cutting out and will take forever to upload. The designs of the units are enough to block even the best signals from the outdated internet setup. The routers are faced above the hallways outside of metal doors and metal studding in the walls making a virtual shield against wireless connections. Doesn't help that the entire hardware network is four years old. To get good internet will require your own self paid independent network on top of what your paying for this garbage. Many times we struggle to put stream music through the worst problem of all in Peach Alley, the noise, noise, NOISE!!!!! Walls aren't insulated so you can hear EVERYTHING your neighbors do. Whether they're yelling, talking in a low voice, blasting stereos or even having sex, you'll hear it. Units above are separated by wood beams and concrete so if they step anywhere you'll hear the ferocious teeth-chattering creeking louder than an alarm clock. This simply means you're level of peace and quiet is at the mercy of your neighbors. Since the leasers allow in anyone who has a pulse and the first months rent, your neighbors are either old folks (if you're lucky) immature college partyers living off mommy and daddy's trust fund, squatters, or trailer trash that scream there lungs out to every sports game Saturday, Sunday and Monday through midnight. So if you believe in an 8 hour sleep each night, it will never happen, count on it. We hear our neighbors walking above us in our bedroom, a neighbor alongside us working his telemarketing job till midnight and white trash on the opposing side yelling "F$%!!!!!" when his team's losing. Miserable. Much of these were issues we discovered AFTER er moved in. Despite what the leasers will tell you these problems are common from tenants so take the extra step by knocking on a few doors and asking folks who actually experience living in Peach Alley, not the leasers who have no experience with living here. All of these issues have been addressed several times with the leasers and the outcomes are as followed. ***Internet problems> Discussed several times > Admitted that a full system hardware upgrade is needed = Result: NOTHING ***Noise complaints about several neighbors >Said they'd handle it = Result: NOTHING ***Terrible creaking from ceiling by neighbors walking regularly during late night > Leasers will call a contractor to fix the problem= Result: NEVER HAPPENED To address all the negatives would be unfair without adding the few positives. The gym is well climate-controlled with little foot traffic and a clean bathroom. The windows are beautiful and provide a lot of natural light. The hallways are well climate controlled. There's plenty of parking. It's pretty quiet mid days. There's additional storage in the basement and the attic to each unit. Maintenance has been responsive to and completes repairs asap. We hoped for a quiet place and have been horribly disappointing. As for the value, $850 to a one bedroom unit in a 100 year old building with an environment plagued with loud neighbors, crap features and low keep up makes Peach Alley far less than valuable. If you prefer clean, simple and quiet, look elsewhere. Peach Alley Leasers, don't bother responding to this review as your lack of action speaks louder than words.

I am new to this area, and I love living here. Our apartment is unique and has large windows. The building is secure with professional staff and maintenance. It is also remarkably quiet here considering they allow dogs. The building is in a convenient location with many things to do within walking distance. Nice place to live with good neighbors.

I love it here. The apartments are a little small but have character. Eleven foot high wooden ceilings with beams, brand new kitchen cabinet doors, countertops and appliances, apartment size washer and dryer. A small gym. Security doors plus cameras. Four story building has an elevator. Management is very pleasant and responsive. Becoming a non smoking building next month. Location is great. Only one block from downtown one direction and one block from a park the other direction. Pet friendly

I love the apartment. The wood vaulted ceilings and wooden beam in the dining room give it such an outdoorsy and comfy feel. The apartment is located right off the main street of downtown Elizabethtown and it makes everything walkable. There is also a community multipurpose trail that is 13 miles long and marked at each 1/2 mile. I have loved living here in Etown!

There is no "community" it has run down and living on past reputation. The place is crumbling and the handy people are not that handy. The rent is expensive for what you get. The window have dry rot. The flowers are pretty. The exercise room does not lock so i do not feel safe there. I do feel safe in the apartment.

Cute apartments with a nice industrial feel, high ceilings, and large windows. My apartment has an exposed brick wall and a wooden-beamed ceiling. Staff is friendly. Located in a charming town and within walking distance to downtown and restaurants.

You would think the idea of living in a renovated shoe factory would be a cool idea. It is, once you take in account the high ceilings, large windows and poorly designed apartments. Our bedroom was the same size as the rest of our house. WE all love big rooms but it was too much. The High Ceilings suck because don't even think about using your heater their bc your electric will 5x more than a house. I wish i was kidding. Management.... what a joke. 90% of the time she isn't even their! Almost had the floor above me fall in because the 1000 yr old water heater was leaking. The large windows are a big issue because you can't seem to find one that doesn't have a full draft of wind come through. Large enough that in the summer i wouldn't even need to open the window to to cool myself down. These places cost so much because of the high ceilings and keeping the historic value reliant. It is a nice apartment though. If you're a businessman who doesn't have to constantly stay at the apartment, its perfect.
