It was a great move in. The location of where the apartment is is possibly the best part about it...it's so close to all of the bars and restaurants in town. Parking is pretty easy as well. You can find a spot a couple blocks away for free.

With its charm, history & beauty I am proud to call "The Greentree Building" home! It's perfect location gives residents the convenience of city living in proximity to the quiet quaint town of West Chester. We LOVE the atmosphere in and around The Greentree Building! It's in walking distance to EVERYTHING, but if one must travel outside the immediate area there is local transportation available as well! ***And BONUS ... those who keep The Greentree Building running efficiently- the leasing staff ,maintenance, & management are BY FAR THE KINDEST- MOST-HELPFUL, CARING KNOWLEDGEABLE,PROFESSIONAL, AND PERSONABLE group of individuals! Each have gone out of their way - in fact, they have gone over and beyond to ensure the safety and happiness of their residents. Job well done because we feel safe and valued as a resident at The Greentree Building!!!! The grounds, the building, the hallways , the laundry room, the lobby, the recreational room, the workout room,and the roof top terrace are all kept immaculate!!!! We have a GREAT community - all are kind and respectful of their neighbors as well! We will be residents at The Greentree Building for as long as they will have us! ... GREAT PLACE TO LIVE!!!!! Greentree's amenities alone are worth moving in for, not to mention the neighborhood and community. The building makes you feel like you're staying at a hotel, in the best way possible. Service requests are prompt and accurate. I would recommend living here to anyone who's looking for a community, not just a home.

Avoid this place at all costs! I've lived in 6 different apartment buildings over the past 8 years and i've never had such a terrible experience. The community manager ------- is completely unwilling to work with the residents if you ever have an issue. Quite frankly, she is unfit for that position. She claims she is willing to work with you and then offers you nothing. The building reaks of cigarretes, you won't sleep past 7am due to all of the construction, and the maintenance crew will enter your apartment with less then 24 hours notice and then they'll give you a 9 hour window. They're basically saying that they will come and go as they please. I emailed ------- saying I didn't grant her access to my apartment because I wasn't given notice and she basically told me to F off. You've been warned.

The other tenants are nice. Melanie is very nice. I wish that maintenance would give me a heads up before coming. Some people prop the back door open so other people who don't live here can walk in. That's not cool, that's where the packages are and they could get stolen. Other then that it's good.

Don't do it. Don't live here. There's always a problem or something that needs to be fixed and management has put barriers in between them and residents so getting in contact with them is near impossible. My rent goes up every year but they do zero improvements. Save yourself some frustration and go elsewhere.

The water pressure is really bad in the bathroom, in the tap. The renovation is poor. The heater makes noise (hiss and swish), it is not loud but still noise. The windows let a lot of cold air to go thru them.

Nice apartment, great location. Quick response to service request. Very quick to pick up rubbish. Nice communal room and gym area. Has been very quiet so far, which is good. Great views of downtown West Chester from windows.

Love my unit, Unfortunately, extremely Disappointed in the lack of cleaning in the building. Carpets are stained with dog urine, the noise level of inconsiderate tenants, the constant door slamming is a bit unbearable.

THE BUILDING IS FULL OF ROACHES. Management will try to blame you for having roaches in your unit even though its not your fault. The lease states they are not liable if you have a pest problem; they have not been able to rid the building of roaches and it is disgusting.

good up to a year ago we started seeing roaches in our apartment. ------- has been informed multiple times and nothing seems to be working. I also see them throughout the building too like the laundry room etc.

An email I recently sent to the landlord,: You have never been able to solve the roach problem. Before you took over, all apartments were treated every month and I never saw so much as a fly. along with that, there is a very loud hvac system outside my window that has never been rectified and which i was not warned of before moving in, I have had the ceiling come down three times - twice in this apartment and once in 4n - there are not even screens on the windows next to the elevators nor have there been for years so there are often flies, and even bees, in the hallway, the back stairs out of the building look like a crime scene, I have had to call 911 on a tenant beating his girlfriend, I have been woken up by drunken tenants more times than I can count, the outside door in the back is continually propped open, often by your contractors. There is more, but this is what comes to mind at the moment.

So far it has been a good experience with the exception of missing the exterminator several times I have had no issues. The leasing staff is very good at their job and are professional and courteous and all chances I've had to interact with the maintenance staff has also gone very well.

Very nice building, old and has a lot of character. Very friendly staff and maintenance workers that are reliable. My only issue is the noise from the local businesses at night time, and roudy college kids but that's an issue that can't be resolved by the buildings company.

Greentree is a pretty terrific place to live. All the common areas are kept meticulously clean and comfortable. Service requests are historically taken care of within two business days, and all of the on-staff employees are polite and friendly. The elevators are a bit slow, and the fact that slow elevators is the single greatest criticism I have to hand says quite a bit.

I just moved to the West Chester area from Iowa. This community and location in the city seems like an ideal fit for me being a recent graduate from college. People seem very friendly and there is a lot of variety of places to eat, but also things to do throughout the city.

I have lived in this apartment for almost 4 years now and it's been great. Berger realty is a great company to work with, everyone is super nice, and easy to get in contact with. Rent is a little high but it's in the middle of the borough so that's to be expected. Only thing I really don't like is that there's no free parking for residents. Other than that this is a perfect location.
