WORST LIVING EVER.
This was the worst apartment building that I´ve ever lived in. I had to choose it as a last minute resort to live close to college, and boy I still wish that I walked the 30 miles to school. It was so bad that I had to switch from one apartment to another one in the same building (which was only a little bit better than poverty conditions).

Let´s begin. The electical outlets were faulty, often coming out when I unplugged a power cord. The bathroom wall had a huge gash in it (which wasn´t there when I signed the lease.) There were paint chips falling from the ceiling. The halls smelled like a cross between someone who died and indian food. The laundry often ate my quarters. If I left the laundry in for only a 1/2 hour after the dry cycle, the caretaker would throw my laundry on the dirty, filty, cockroach-ridden basement floor (I´m not kidding--this happened several times.) The caretaker complained about what "--------) the tenants were all the time. He was often drunk.

The building was loud, dirty and had cockroaches. The elevators were broken half the time. The security in the building is an abomination. The toilet often clogged, as did the sink. BOTTOM LINE--THIS IS THE WORST LIVING CONDITIONS IN ANY AREA OUTSIDE OF NORTH PHILADELPHIA. POVERTY CONDITIONS. I´M NOT KIDDING.

The radiator would BANG AND CLANG LOUDLY every fall and winter night. The HEAT WAS UNBEARABLE IN THE SUMMER and required an air conditioner to run 24-7. The shower was EITHER BLAZING HOT or FREEZING COLD.

If something was broken, no one ever came to fix it. I would repeatedly ask the caretaker (more like the undertaker) Buzz to fix things, which he never would do. And the owners of the building were impossible to reach. It took me to threaten a lawsuit for them to allow me to switch out of my apartment. This is no way to live, DO NOT FALL INTO THEIR TRAP.

An old building with many problems.
The apartment was not clean upon arrival in addition no services are offered here and there has been a problem with bugs as well as electricity and heating not working at certain times. In addition the shower only has two temperatures: scalding and icy.
