There's just not a feeling of comfort and security anymore when I come home. Inconsiderate neighbors, God awful parking and I think this community should have cameras. We went to use the barbecue grills and they were filthy.

Our downstairs neighbor violently hits her ceiling with a broom whenever anyone in any of the surrounding apartments makes noise. Other than that, this whole apartment complex is great! Amazing community, all but one are amazing neighbors, the maintenance team is fantastic, the amenities are well kept and we use them often!

Very friendly staff and beautiful neighborhood. I just moved in but my boyfriend has lived here since April and he loves it too! It is very conveniently located and is very quiet and safe and we are very happy to live here and we feel safe.

Used to be great… not so much anymore. Policies aren’t followed and vandalism has increased. Staff caring about issues is non-existent and there’s no sense reporting anymore … garbage is out of control… dog waste and dumpster disaster are eye sores and hazards

Elements at Carolina Bay is a great community. The staff is professional and courteous. The amenities and grounds are well maintained, and it’s a great safe location. I gave here 3 1/2 years and would dream of moving!

This a safe community. Unfortunately no public transportation. Excessive noise from new subdivision construction near apartment complex. Units are dated as compared to newer built apartments in the area.

Staff is wonderful. Maintenance has amazed me by how fast they are. I put in a work order this morning for my dishwasher, it was fixed before the end of the business day. Super impressed. This is my first month living here and I am definitely loving it. Everyone seems so friendly and welcoming. Everyone I’ve met who lives here are so friendly too. Great experience so far!

We couldn’t be more pleased with the excellent service and communication from the Element office team - Tiffany and SK. They are always so helpful and friendly. In addition, Chase on the maintenance team is a real gem knowing his work and management of outside vendor resources.

not luxury living in comparison to prevailing rents, management team indifferent to surroundings, community events often rescheduled or cancelled, coffee tv has had drink spills on the screen for the past 6 months and rusting ebike lay in the bushes outside managers office for 5 months.

Regrettable

AVOID this place at all costs. I lived here for 5 years. After moving out, they've lied & claimed I owe them money. Even though I've provided visual proof showing that I do not. They don't care. Google Greystar, you'll see that, unfortunately, my situation is not unique. Even when I lived there, it was clear - despite their claims of "community," they only care about one thing: money. Was a great place when I first moved in. Went downhill after staff changes. This place was not worth the con-job & money grubbing. Live elsewhere, thank me later.

I had a very bad experience with another rental property when I first moved to South Carolina. I had a U-Haul truck full and had no place to live. When I showed up at the office of Element Carolina Bay they greeted me with professionalism and a smile and told me they would help me get into a unit that day. I enjoy living here - not plans to leave unless the US falls apart, which it very may well. Despite the fact that Charleston is mostly blue, still it seems a lot of people in the US support Trump. If he ruins the country, we may have to leave, which means we would leave this apartment. I don't want to do that as we enjoy the pool, the neighbors, the sidewalks and the ease for biking. Most of all, we really enjoy the fact that the neighborhood chose to keep some areas for conservation, rather than put up too many buildings everywhere. I appreciate the nature areas and nature walks close by.

Element Carolina Bay is great: the staff, maintenance, amenities, the layout of the apt, close to a couple of parks and a light at the entrance to Highway 17!!! It’s quiet but welcoming. They have a variety of activities every month. Visit us!

No comment unless you want the truth. However that's when I would line to hear from a corporate Greystar member. It very well could be a great community, liston and overall experience. BUT no one really listens, corporate Greystar doesn't make the needed changes to keep up with the market, and the pool is NEVER properly cleaned.

So far I love love love my neighbors they’re soo nice and my car got broken into along with other cars, but I’m assuming that comes with security and etc it doesn’t matter if your doors or locked on your car people are going to do whatever either way..

So far my move-in experience has been "great". The complex manager, Bill Borah, has made me fill at home and updated my needs in my apartment for this 76 year old Veteran. The maintenance staff has been fantastic. They are quick and knowledgeable. I'm very pleased!

Absolutely wonderful office staff! Samantha saw me outside and come out to remind me to get my Mother's Day goody box. So many cute boxes to choose from! I really appreciate the staff and the hard work they do to relate to the residence and keep the property looking lovely.
