I have lived at Camden Oaks for 5 months and I have loved it! The staff is so kind, particularly Stephanie! She has followed up with my roommate and I few times during our stay and she has been so helpful! My roommate got locked out once (my fault haha ;) ) and Stephanie helped us out with a spare key. The complex is always clean and our building is very quiet. We have had only 1 maintenance call and they came quickly to fix the issue. I would recommend this complex to anyone!

Management is disrespectful, unprofessional and fake. Please look at your other options, I would NEVER recommend this apartment complex to anyone. They are nice when they are trying to get you to sign a lease but when you have any requests or issues once you're here it's very hard to get them to accommodate you. They don't even recognize that there is a problem. We talked to management, They did nothing, were not helpful and were unprofessional.

I have lived at Camden Amber Oaks for nearly four years --- every time my lease is due for renewal, I cannot seem to considering leaving! The staff, management and maintenance teams are WONDERFUL and always go above and beyond. I feel very safe here, truly enjoy the location and the beautifully maintained community.

We lived here for 15 months and liked the new, updated apartments. Didn't like the mandatory cable, cleaning and trash pickup fees. There is no outside storage on some apartments. Not much storage inside. No dog park. Parking was horrible. Neighbors were loud.

Camden Amber Oaks is a beautiful place to live. Its quiet, unless of course you have noisy neighbors. Pet friendly, well maintained property. They have plenty of dog pick up locations, but some people are lazy and don't pick up after the pets that they own. The gym is current and well taken care of. They also have an office centre if you need to fax or print anything, the option is available. I don't like that they don't have a play area for children, or a dog park. I don't agree with having to pay for waste pick up (valet trash pick up from your door), that should be optional and not a requirement! Also at most apartment complexes the water is a fixed rate of roughly $40 included already in the rent, here the water isn't included in your rent. It comes as a separate bill.

I have been living at Camden Amber Oaks for almost 7 months. I have been extremely pleased with all aspects of the facility. The grounds are well maintained and the rent is competitive considering the location and services provided. The staff are outstanding and go out of their way to make sure any and all maintenance requests are responded to in a timely manner. Management seems to be truly interested in making sure their residents are satisfied.

I recommend this place to everyone I talk to. I would recommend though is reward the tenants that pay always on time, never have problems or issue, with a rent break and even more so if they have been at the property for a while... Like me ;)... rent increases when you have been loyal to a place feels like a slap in the face sometimes.

Likes and Dislikes: Everything! Awesome staff, quick to respond to maintenance request, great grounds keep, vip trash at my door vs having to put it in a central location. I LOVE THE LOCATION! Close to avery ranch, lakeline, apple, etc. The slightly higher rent for the size and area made it hard decision to stay and renew my lease but the staff made the difference in my decision to call this apartment my home. The one MAJOR thing i do not like is that you are force to use TW cable for TV and its built into the rent. I love ATT u-verse and can only truly use the internet.

We lived at this apartment complex for 6 months while our new home was being built and could not have been happier. Excellent experience and great location.

Likes and Dislikes: Well-kept, quiet property. Impressed with the quick maintenance service. Office staff were outstanding -- friendly and helpful. 100% satisfied..

Likes and Dislikes: The property is beautiful and classy. However the biggest prize is the staff! They are friendly, dedicated, compassionate, detail oriented, and know how to treat the residents with the respect they deserve.

The girls in the office are always friendly and inviting. It is a very beautiful apartment and the maintenance team is very prompt!

Likes and Dislikes: I like my apartment very much. I only wish the walls weren't so thin. The staff is great. The only thing I think could be managed better is the parking. Non residents take residents parking all the time and even overnight! I work at night and when I have to walk almost 5 mins at 1 in the morning to get to my apartment because there isn't any parking, I don't feel safe. When I get up in the morning, those cars are gone. Why do we have stickers on our cars then? A playground for the kids would also be nice. Not very much for kids to do.

I would like to see the trash pick up and cost be optional and the administrative cost of the water bill be removed or allow the renter to pay directly to the company.

Likes and Dislikes: This is a well lit community, with security gates. The office staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The grounds are well kept, including the pool area. The work out room has up to date equiptment. The only suggestion is to add more animal containers around the complex to assist pet owners to clean up at set of apartments.

Parking is a real issue. If you work and don't get off until early evening (i.e. after 7:30), more than likely you cannot park as close to your apartment as you want. Also, when I moved in wrist bands were given to wear in pool area. I have never seen anyone wear them. This should be enforced. I have seen people drive in and unload their kids to use the pool, and they obviously don't live here. The worst complaint is upstairs neighbors with small children running constantly. The noise is horrible.

Likes and Dislikes: It is quiet at night, which is a huge plus. Most of the residents pick up after their pets, but the few that don't ruin it for those who do.

Great place to live

Likes and Dislikes: I like the staff, when I have a maintenance issue is is handled professionally. I like my location and it is a quiet unit. The amenities are nice when I do get a chance to use them. I like the fact if I decide to relocate their are other Camden properties I could transfer to. I like the online access to my neighbors and events. Over all I have no complaints.

I love this apartment complex. I have been living in apartments for the past 4 years and this is by far the best ever. I have heard a lot about noise from overhead apartments, but I stay on 3rd floor, so haven't faced that problem yet. The apartments are spacious, the maintenance service is great, the staff is very friendly, and lots more. The grass on grounds are a bit yellow, but I guess the season isn't very favorable. People often complain about dog poop on the grounds, but its the people's responsibility to clean up after their dogs. The apartment complex does its best of cleaning the grounds often, but you can expect them to pick up after your dogs daily. Just because they are a pet friendly complex doesn't mean you misuse their leniency. The only complaint I have is about the trash pick-up. They dont come on Fridays and Saturdays, which is very difficult, because people often clean their apartments over the weekend, and the trash has to be in house till Sunday evening when they come and pick up. Wish they would change that. But overall, its a great apartment complex and I love living here..

The walls are paper thin, as previously noted in other reviews. The courtesy office does not help you if your neighbors are blasting their surround sound system at midnight -- they claim to not hear the noise and cancel the request for an officer. The maintenance staff is great when you request services but they do not do a good job of keeping the grounds in order. The stairs by my apartment shake with the slightest hint of pressure in your step, I have to tip toe upstairs if I don't want to be too loud coming home late at night. It's so bad at times, I feel like they will fall apart at any moment. The mandatory cable and valet trash fees are a rip off. You only get basic cable plus HBO and the cable placement is not ideal (the coax is on the longest side of the apartment, where one would put a couch to watch tv on the shorter side...common sense). I didn't have a TV for the first three months I lived here and was still charged for cable. I.caved and bought a TV I still don't watch. The mail man to the complex is a pain. I find out he didn't deliver mail from my friends and family months later because they simply left off the last number of my apartment or put the wrong one. It doesn't take much effort to ask the leasing office who I am so he can deliver the mail. Instead it gets bounced around for several weeks to months before we know what happened to it. I find it hard to believe the leasing office has no say in the matter. With enough complaints they should do something. I was told to go complain. The water does not stay hot for long. Showers must be short but the water bill is still $40/month. Still cannot figure that out. Can't wait for my lease to go up. I wish I shopped around more.

"Why did you decide to...
"Why did you decide to lease here?" It was a new apartment with nice social facilities. The price is a bit too high but the promotion that I was provided made a balance in my budget.

The ONLY thing I would...
The ONLY thing I would have preferred was that the walls be a beige or very light tan with white trim. That is just a personal preference. I was not crazy about how the brown paint looked, particularly on the doors. Crown molding would have been nice too. I would have been willing to pay a little more with those changes. I would paint the place myself if I could.

"Why did you decide to...
"Why did you decide to lease here?" The welcoming staff. Even the leasing agents we did not talk with directly remembered our faces. The community seemed quieter than our current community and the fitness center is a major bonus. The kitchen was the main breaking point for me since I spend a great deal of time in that area of my home.

My boyfriend and I moved into the phase II right after they were opened. We were literally the only ones there and they were still building the back buildings. We were very satisfied up until our 6 month mark. After that everything that could go wrong in the apartment did. Our water meter broke, the electric meter broke, cable sucked and all of a sudden some channels were not available (but you still have to pay the $52 cable fee) and our ac started having problems. It seriously is never ending! The ladies are very nice but they seem like they don't know anything. The new side just seems life it was half --- done because when I call the front to tell them the issues they always seem to say at least another resident has the same problem. Other than the problems in the apartment the amenities are awesome...I just dont think the price is worth all the problems. We will not be renewing!

My fiance and I lived...
My fiance and I lived at Camden Amber Oaks for almost 3 years, we only moved out recently because we purchased a home. Our first contact was with Jena Manning and she was incredible. We have absolutely no complaints about this complex. It is very well maintained, they have garages available, there is a good mix of people. As far as apartment living goes, and I've done it for a while, this is our all time favorite.
