Friendly staff. Nice location. Safe. Poor upkeep. Dirty. Dog park facilities are broken. Landscaping poor and intermittent. Garbage company inconsistent and make a mess. I can not recommend this property. They have refused to clean the hallways in any meaningful way.

Noise: Apartments near the pools are not quiet, and loud after "quiet hours" since pools/hot tubs are still accessible after hours. Safety: vehicle gates are sometimes stuck open for weeks at a time.

Landscape needs update. Pool coping bricks are loose and the entire seating area is a mess. Walk thru gates don't lock. Patio railing needs to be re-painted. Breeze-ways need to be pressure washed and cleaned.

A wonderful and a nice community with the majority of wonderful tenants. the complex is fairly quite except for the weekend with few party enthesitis. The actual units are great and well maintained, but the outside really needs some deep cleaning. badly need a power wash to remove some stains and reduce insects

It's fine. Apartments are nice but the appliances and fixtures aren't necessarily the best quality. Maintenance is great- they answer requests fairly quickly and efficiently fix problems. Noise levels aren't the best- you can often hear conversations and music through the walls.

When there are no issues, this is a good place to live and the property is well maintained. However, when problems arise, resolving them can be a pain - you often have to show up in person to get help. Most neighbors are good, except for a few who frequently make loud noise and cause trouble.

Quiet, clean, and issues are fixed quickly. Rent has gone up almost every year but nothing has changed. Bordering to expensive for amenities available. Hot water can be an issue in cold weather. Overall, nice place to live but will eventually price people out of a simple one bedroom

LakeWalk 8000 is a nice place to live! I've enjoyed my stay and do not regret choosing here to live for the duration of my masters. There are a few things that I can comment on: the apartment complex does allow pets and a few people do not clean up after their pets and leave their pets' poop on the grounds. It's mainly in the grass but also the pee will smell as well so that's something to consider (I just hold my breath when walking by those places and I'm fine). Another thing, the walls are medium thickness? So I can hear heavy foot steps of my upstairs neighbor and my neighbor next to me when they shower and sing. Finally, their maintenance team is pretty on top of it. I've never had more than a day pass without a visit from after I put a request in. And all instances my problem was solved. No stress has ever come from me living here and I hope it's same for you!

I wish the complex would keep the breezeways cleaner. They tend to get filthy and not maintained well. Aside from that, the customer service is great and the complex is willing to assist with whatever I need, whenever I need it.

Well kept grounds and there is spacious parking. Maintenance service is timely.. The community is quiet. Minimal outside air conditioning noise. Apartment aesthetics: well lit, fans are adjustable with dimmable lights. The location is convenient.

The fact that the community is safe, quiet, and peaceful?with well-maintained shared amenities such as study areas, a pool, and a fitness center?was a major factor in our decision to move here. We would be even happier if a children's playground is added in the future ??

First off, the community is gorgeous. Quiet, and very much in a great area. Move in was rather easy, however setting up the portals and everything were a bit tedious and challenging. Neighbors are a bit loud, and the cops are called quite a bit for random reasons. However that does not deter from the beauty of the complex.

Great place to live. Community is quiet and safe. Walk to coffee shop and events at tge Lake Walk. Community does a good job hosting resident events. Maintenance requests are attended to efficiently. Resident concerns are taken seriously and addressed well.

I would NOT recommend this community unless your living standards are moderate to low. This community is advertised as a luxury but it is not. The leasing office staff as a group are rude, dismissive, and often outright unresponsive - I have documentation if anyone ever wants to reach out to me directly to inquire further. My building is very poorly maintained and the resident services group (the group responsible for maintenance, which is supposed to be separate from the leasing office group) are defensive and slow to respond. I will only be here one year and am eagerly anticipating my departure in several months. I only reach out to resident services or the leasing office if it is absolutely necessary. Otherwise, I keep to myself and stay quiet as a way of simply tolerating the substandard resident services. My work requires me to move around a lot so that requires me to have rental properties often. This is my worst apartment living experience. I would post photos but don't want to experience retaliation from the apartment community because they recognize who I am.

The staff is very nice and helpful, usually I can get maintenance work done the next day. The apartments themselves are pretty nice; the outside of the buildings are not as nice and the security is not the best.

Overall I love living here. I love the gyms, and amenities the only complaint I have is the trash valet we pay for hasn't been picked up on several occasions. I leave it out within the correct days and timeframe.

The fact that there is bird ---- on everything in all of the hallways, on the walls, on the grills on the chairs makes the community look, feel, and smell disgusting on a consistent basis. You failed to admit to your residence that deconstruction was ------ and that you cannot pressure wash properly without flooding apartment. And yet you all sell the property as a luxury apartment building. This will be my last year at the property because I was stupid enough to believe that you could take care of pressure washing and cleaning up bird ---- within a three year time frame. Additionally, you mandate that we use a specific Internet service called optimum circumventing any ability for a resident to complain, demand better service or shop for affordable options when this service consistently raises its prices and fees. Recently my bill went up. I called optimum to inquire and I was given this -------- answer about the fee increase. Apparently the piece of hardware that has been in my apartment for three ------- years cost more to operate, even though it has decreased in value and the system has more issues than in prior years. Your customer service for property management is the worst I've ever experienced and I have lived in multiple states. I have been a renter most of my life because I choose not to own a home and I have found your staff to be the least professional of my 20 years, living in an apartment complex complexes across this country.

The amenities are great! The apartment complex is really nice and spacious. Big walk in closet. Nice bathroom. My main issue with the apartment is the fire alarms are very sensitive and go off due to a steamy shower or turning the heater on for the first time.

I am on my third apartment in the complex. Some areas of the complex are more quiet than others. Overall very happy with the complex and with my current unit. I have a three bedroom/two bath with a two car garage- it is bigger than some of the houses I have owned. I work on campus and this area provides my best/shortest commute.

Our apartment is used as a second home, so we are there occasionally! Things seem to be well kept and the maintenance staff has been there when we had problems! Biggest complaint is that we have never found anyone who is in charge!!!!

Westshore is not the best apartment management company. When signing your lease and getting ready to move into the apartment, they make everything so confusing. You will have to submit certain items many times before they acknowledge that you have done it. We did a pet screening before moving in that we had to submit multiple times, and we still got charged for a pet even though we don't have one.

The location is the best feature. Airport is 5 minutes away, Texas A&M is within a bike ride (10 min.) and there is a TAMU bus stop about two minutes away. Lakewalk and Traditions is a beautiful place to enjoy.

One of the best things about living here is that maintenance requests are addressed quickly. The most frustrating part about living here is the valet trash service. The rules are so strict that it makes the service far more inconvenient than it's worth, yet I have no choice but to pay monthly for it. The fact that the trash can is only allowed outside from 6-8pm or else we are fined is ridiculous. What about people who work in the evenings and can't maintain that strict schedule? They're just SOL? Also, we should not be required to keep the garbage can inside as it collects so many bugs and dirt by being outside. You don't see homeowners bringing their big dumpsters inside their house, and we shouldn't have to do that either. If your rules are too strict for flexibility, then we need to be allowed to opt out of the trash service.
