I am extremely disappointed in the lack of safety at this complex. I have lived here for over two years and continue to feel less and less safe every day. I can’t wait for our lease to end and hope for the safety of others they get their ish together and hire security back. Since living here I’ve witnessed a attempted trafficking, I’ve had my belonging and packages stolen, my other packages never found in a timely manner by “concierge” (think flowers, meal prep delivery’s that are signed for and then misplaced and then found weeks later when the food is spoiled and the flowers are dead and shriveled), my car windows has been shattered and broken into… this is a total and utter safety nightmare. After getting my car broken into tonight, I followed the recommended prompts of the safety emails they send out. Called the police and went down to the concierge to let them know of the break in. I was greeted with a oh wow you are the 7th car that’s been reported today, there were 4 others yesterday and 3 on Friday. And will anything change because of this…. I guess time will tell, but I won’t be around to find out.

My experience had been overall good. Great location but the noise from Te Deseo and Happiest Hour is a deal breaker. The management team - specifically Melissa is horrible about dealing with resident issues like car break ins. She clearly does not care about the resident experience and was no help at all with resolving the crime or reporting it out to the other residents.

I love the community and the consistent activities they provide. The area is beautiful and I enjoy the view as well as my apartment layout. I’ve made friends there, but I also have an issue with noise level either coming from my apartment or other apartments. Cebastian has been extremely helpful with any issues I’ve had and I appreciate everything he has helped out with.

Ascent is a great place to live. We have had a positive experience with everything so far. The only issues is the noise from Happiest Hour almost every night but it’s not unbearable. The windows and doors mostly block out the music. The staff is great, maintenance is fast and efficient, the building is always clean and well kept, the amenities are amazing and I love it here. Definitely recommended!

Great building and location however the noise from neighboring bars includes extensive bass and music until 2 AM. Have lived in multiple urban environments in multiple cities and never had such extreme noise. Apartment and complex itself is clean and well maintained.

We love Acsent Victory Park, we have always moved every year but, we are already talking about renewing here. I have nothing but glowing reviews from the Ascent, from the lovely kind staff, beautiful complex, and the layout, location and pricing. No complaints here!

With the exception of a few rotten apples (entitled narcissistic neighbor in #1524), this community is very welcoming and friendly. Staff and maintenance go above and beyond to attend to resident's needs and make Ascent a great place to live!

I absolutely love is this community. Staff professionalism is top notch. They make you feel at before you make it your home. I would recommend this community to my family and friend. My daughter and my son-in-law move in a week after and really love it!!

The Ascent has been wonderful to my husband and I these last 4 years. We just renewed and upgraded to a larger unit. The leasing team was great and worked with us to make the transition as easy as possible.

I still have nails sticking up from my floorboards in my kitchen. But I put a rug over it so I won’t step on them because maintenance has come to fix it twice and it’s still an issue. I also have no clue how to get to the dog park.

I like living in the ascent but I do not like being forced to type at least 201 characters on a review. The staff and the building are great along with the amenities. Im not sure why they were so adamant about this review though

This is without a doubt the worst run property I have ever had the displeasure of leasing. Filthy dirty, broken down, and unsafe would be an accurate way to describe your property. Many of your residents agree. Your Yelp reviews are very poor.

Only complaint is the mgmt did toe my car and I had to spend $165 to get my car. Long story short, I replaced my temporary plates with my permanent plates and forgot to update the license #. The mgmt towed the car from my reserved parking space without me complaining. We did attempt to get a refund but the mgmt wasn't accommodating and implied it was our fault.

Not worth the money unless they keep it up and enforce rules. Location amazing and units great, but it's not the same building it was even 18 months ago. Expensive frat house without responsive changes needed to keep longer-term residents. So many have moved out.

Helpful leasing staff. Move in was super easy and the building itself is amazing. Amenities are top notch. The front desk staff and maintenance staff are wonderful and responsive. Highly recommend living here if youre looking in the area.

The price you pay for a luxury apartment that isn't held to such standard is very disappointing. Makes me not want to renew my lease. The office staff are poorly trained and hardly knowledgeable. You will get so many different answers on a simple issue. Maintenance staff effectiveness has declined since I moved in, things are often left dirty and not refilled (elevators, dog park, hallways, trash bins overflowing, etc.) and it seems like the community has cut their hours.

This building and its management have gone downhill in the past 3 years. Amenities aren't as well maintained as they used to be, the garage door has been open for months and months so there is no security for our cars. The concierge used to be professional, but not anymore.

Living at the Ascent started as a very exciting community experience that recently evolved into nightmare. An entire culture change has occurred causing irreversible damage to our perception of the the Ascent. As we speak to our neighbors we are not alone in this frustrating chaos. There is no way we would be confident in resigning another lease.

Ascent is great! Modern, upgraded amenities and cool apartment floor plans. Love it! The apartment features are really great, especially the gas stove and wine fridges. My move in was seamless and the concierge is a huge perk!

The staff here has been great. If I ever have an issue I will submit a service request and they are here promptly even through Covid. They are great about letting my guest or house keeper in. Its been great living here

If I were able to give no stars, I would. The only good thing I can say about the Ascent is the location. I was one of the first residents to move into the building and ABSOLUTELY loved it...at first. Then we went through a slew of property managers and staff to the current group. My lease was set to expire Jan '21. I tried contacting the manager many times to voice my concerns but NEVER HEARD BACK...that is until I posted a review on Yelp. Upon posting, I almost immediately heard from Lauren who was extremely nice and understanding. I voiced my concerns about drugs, random people in garage and building and she agreed to release me from my lease early with no penalties assessed. I provided forwarding address and called multiple times after moving out for final invoice with no response that is until last week. I received an invoice for rent due, early penalty and other random charges. If you're considering Ascent Victory Park, I highly recommend you reconsider. Please do you research about crime in the building and read reviews.

The experience has been disappointing. When I've contacted the main office, they took over a month to return the call and then did not follow up with what was promised on the call. I did not have the "approved" trash can for door to door trash service and after requesting it (including in person), it was never provided so I've been paying for a service that I can't use. Elevator issues are the norm and have been without at least one every month. There has been police raids and multiple armed police officers here with no explanation as to why. Major items like loss of water have happened with no contact from management until 7 hours after residents were without water.
