I've only been here for a month but I love it so far. It's way bigger than my old place and the ladies in the office are so nice and helpful. I haven't had any problems with anyone and it's so peaceful and the grounds are always Clean. The only complaint I have is the teenagers sneaking in the pool, but it's probably because the pool is rarely open. Everything else is great!

I really enjoyed my stay here for the first couple of months but it just seems to get worse with time. I liked my apartment for the size and location but I don't think i will stay until my lease term is up. staff is informative but not too friendly and I didn't really mind at first but it's getting a little excessive now. they try to rush you on the phone and get annoyed if you call repeatedly but will call you every day if you owe even 10 dollars ! seems like you only get fair treatment if you're friends with one of the office staff or if you're an attractive male. I say this because my boyfriend always tells me that he gets the best service from them and has never gotten an attitude from them and likes to joke about it. it's kind of ridiculous since I always pay my rent on time !

Just wanted to say 'Thank you 'for such a wonderful Christmas party your office did for all the people that live at Bahama Glen. There was so much food and prizes for everyone. Again 'Thank You So Much" A resident of 5years.

I have lived here for 8 months now and I can't wait to leave! Its good for a starter apartment. But they are over priced and the appliances are old and flat out suck. For the longest time my refrigerator had a freaking leak!! My kitchen sink also was leaking and the maintenance guys came to "fix" it and it was only a temporary fix. I ended up having my dad come over to fix it for me. The AC units suck...at least in my particular apartment as far as I know. I have to leave it on all day just so if can feel a little cool, i still have to use a fan. Resulting in high electric bills. The neighborhood is pretty good. I wouldn't say its safe but so far everything is good. Neighbors keep to themselves. You have reserved parking and they give you this red sticker for your windshield to prove your a resident... 8 months later they still have not given me mine, proving the sticker thing is all a show. I'll get home from work and some ------- is parked in my spot an I have to bang on doors finding whose car it is so they can move it. One time I some how became $10 short on rent. I had no idea of this. Instead of calling me and letting me know, out of the blue they leave a paper on my door saying if I do not pay $10 before 10AM the next morning they will put locks on my doors. This PISSED me off. Having said all this, I am ready for my lease to end and get the hell up outa here. I am sure there are worse places to live by far but for what I pay a month I should have to deal with this --------. I would recommend these apartments to younger people as starter apartments. Not for long term living arrangement.

Have been here for 4 months, now and I haven't had any issues. The staff is very nice and my neighbors are great. I recently placed a work order and they were in my apartment in 2 days. I hope the service continues to stay the same for my whole 12 months that I'm here. :)

Was recommended by a friend. Going on two years and I'm happy with my apt. It's so convenient being close to several stores, my kids school, and the frwys wich is a great thing for me. : )

Love my BAHAMA GLEN Apartments, always find the office welcomming and very friendly. The apartments are clean and updated. We made friends with our neighbors and to this day still stay in touch. When we move back to Oak Cliff, Bahama Glen is were we will move back to. Happy Renter.

Bed bug! They're just coming oit the walls & management wont do a damn about but blaim you & let you fix it. Ypu report it & get blaim for it. Don't move here! Plus the neighbors are too loud & don't care.

What a happy place to live.. I really do enjoy my apartment and the people in the office at Bahama Glen Apartments. I would recommend this place to my family and freinds and whomever is looking for a place to all home. GREAT PLACE.

Bahama Gleen Apartments<3

I lived here when i was 19 with my boyfriend in the town home by the office for a year lease, I completed it and I absolutely loved it.:) We built a lot of good memories here in these apartments...<3 I'm planing to move here again very soon and am sure it will be the same pleasant place it was 3 years ago. The reason I'm coming back is because we plan to start a family soon...:) and i know these apartments will be a nice place to pick us up on my feet again. Overall i just wanted to say... That these apartments hold a very special place in my heart. And seriously all those bad things that i read are not true, well in my case i never experienced anything like what I've READ! Just saying.

If your looking for a nice place to live for you or your family then Bahama Glen is the place. The office staff is great and always gets things done. THe apartments are very nice and have washer and dryers. LOVE the Bahama's.

DONT I REPEAT DONT MOVE HERE!

I have lived here for a year now & just got a dog. They refused to renew my lease not even knowing what breed of dog I obtained. They told me this on July 9 after they told me on the 1st they would get my renewal lease ready for me to sign. Then they told me I had to give them 30 day notice to vacate & if I didn t I would owe a sublet fee. So I have to say 1 more month to give them 30 day notice and my rent is going from $697 to $810 for the month. On top of all this the apartments have roaches that I have complained about but no response, the guy who got shoot in the parking lot just outside my apartment, not to mention the staff is very un-professional.

I loved living at Bahama Glen

My apartment was spacious. Maintainance requests were responded to almost immediately. I hated to move but had to because the commute was just too long. My new place isn't nearly as nice and cost more.

DO NOT MOVE IN HERE...

We're desperately trying to find a house so we can get the hell out of here. Yes, price is reasonable BUT the price you pay for safety, comfort, and security is not worth the cheap price. Takes management a LOOOOOONNNNNNGGGGG time to respond to maintenance requests and I'm fed up. I got tired of their excuses that I called the city of Dallas code compliance and they had to fix the problem. Of course it was only a temporaray fix, but they fixed it. I gotta call them again becuase again we have a drainage problem!!!

bad roaches.......

when i move in the apt it was full of roaches all over i lived there over nine months i would never ever move to does apt they are really bad and the rents are alot for 2 bedrooms almost 700 a month please nobody move to the bahama glen they may look nice from outside but in the apt lots of roaches oh ya my ac was not working the guys woild go look at the ac they said it ws working fine they dident no what they were talking about i had to get window ac unit plus my lights was runing about 250 a month because ac was working......

UNBELIEVABLE

this complex is located off of fort worth ave. there are broken beer bottles scattered throughout the parking lot and grassy areas after every weekend. - the apartment below me had 8 men living in a single bedroom studio. residents/visitors have no regard for "assigned" parking spots and block in cars for hours. owners of blocking vehicles are no where to be found when you need to back out. the rent is outrageous for the quality or.. lack of quality that you're receiving at bahama glen. - if you go up a few blocks.. virginia manor is a much nicer complex with a hands on mgt team and personnel. there are also BRAND NEW apartments near 30 and cockrell hill (if your desperate to live in this area) where rent runs the same as bahama glen and you get working a/c (gasp!), no roach or lizard infestations, mgt that is actually in the office during office hours... you know.. luxuries like that.

Not Happy

This is probably the worst apartment management in all of Dallas. They have two swimming pools. It is now August and they haven't opened either one of them. It took Maintenance 2 1/2 months to put a knob on the diswasher. I've spent 100 dollars trying to get rid of the roaches in my apartment......They won't leave. The place is infested with them. And yes, my apartment is very clean. The dumpsters are not inclosed and they overflow on the weekends. So the place looks like a dump when you have guest over. I will be moving from here as soon as the lease is up.
