Highly recommend this apartment ' they are reliable when you need them . The property is managed really well. Every issue that I have had has been addressed in a timely manner. The office staff have been very kind and accommodating. Maintenance is usually done within 24 to 48 hours.

So far it has been quiet, the residents keep to themselves, obviously it comes with a few minor inconveniences such as any apartment does, the staff is friendly and seems that they know everyone here which is a plus.

Great people, family-friendly, great staff. The units are a bit old but clean, and the management is very kind. Good value. Neighborhood is ok. I'm just not very happy with the security. Upgrades were announced more than 7 months ago but still no news!

It's my first day. Very friendly community. Everyone has told me hello. I love my newly renovated bathroom! My one complaint is the kitchen doesn't have a microwave, so I'm going to have to buy one. But other than that it works for me and my baby boy.

Overall I love the area I live in and my neighbors. I feel very safe here no matter what time of day. The change in management has helped to get things updated and maintenance requests are completed much faster than they used to be.

The apartment is nice and quiet during the day and in the evening. The location is close to the Metro line and has many store options nearby. The nearest shopping mall is The Galleria of Houston, a luxury shopping mall. The location is far enough away from the main street so as the residents aren't bothered with the noise of the daily traffic.

This community is great! I've been here 11years and my apt. is getting old. Needs a lot of renovating. (paint job, new tub, faucets replacements, new stove & refrigerator and kitchen counter; however, the rent at this time is convenient for me. Because of this, I don't complain. This happens when anyone is at an apt. for longer than 5 yrs. This complex has improved on the outside and the location has been great. Hopefully my rent will stay the same when my lease expires!

This community is located at a few miles from the galleria and a lot of shops and nice restaurants but yet it is Very quiet . The galleria is one of the best malls in Houston .This community is gated and has covered parking for cars.

We moved in here Nov. 3 rd, just a few days ago. We initially thought our 1/1 was too small, but in fact it's perfect for just my husband and I, and our furbabies when we can bring them here! The property is quiet, the residents are sweet as well. Management can't be beat, and maintenance is quick and efficient! We are SO greatful that Electricity, water, trash and gas are included in the price! The kitchen tap water is insta HOT and well water cold! Lol My husband has gone from a 30 minute commute to work, down to under 10! We are around a lot if stores and restaurants we LOVE like The house of pies which is less that 2 blocks away! The ac and heat work great! The property is old, but quiet, respectul and charming. We are so blessed to be here, and despite if anyone else has had an issue w/this property or any staff members, that was them! We LOVE that our vehicle is covered, and we love the safety of a gated community. You rarely hear the traffic, and Mrs.John in the office is a real sweetheart! She is kind and fair, and she has a wonderful and fun personality! If you're looking for a quiet, can put chairs and windchimes out on the common area and it's STILL there day after day kind of safety and confidence, then you should give The Westbriar a try!!! Be warned that units ate going FAST!!! I hope this will give you a better perspective and help you make a better decision about your new home!

I agree 100% with the first rating. In addition, I have not had a working stove and oven since I moved in Nov. 1, 30 days ago. I was shown a 'new'laundry room with 5 washers and 5 dryers. Only 1 dryer is in operation and nothing is planned to be done. I asked before signing my lease if the apartment air conditioning was controlled by the individual apartments, and was told yes. This was a lie. The air conditoning is barely operative Monday through noon Saturday when the leasing office is closed. I have had to move my bed into the livingroom to be close to my box fan at the window. When confronted about the stove, oven, lack of airconditioning and lack of dryers, the manager, Mark has lied and lied and lied. I hope apartment locators head this message. The locater I used referred me to another place, but this one was on his list and was the cheapest. My mistake was not listening to him. I will be moving as son as I've saved the money to move again and recovered physically from this move.

WestBriar Apartments going downhill
1. There is mold coming out of the vents; Landlord resolve is to paint over the mold. 2. Outside of the apartments paint is peeling away. 3. To get something fixed, make sure it is in writing or it will never get fixed 4. Air conditioning goes down every summer for at least a week 5. Ground are barely kept up. 6. Some apartments have 5 children living a 1 room apartment
