My experience living here as been truly positive. I've lived at another Lincoln property and didn't have the same experience. The staff onsite is responsive and communicates very effectively about what is happening at the property, whether it's reminders or events. Definitely would recommend.

I've lived here for almost 3 years and for the most part I have enjoyed making this my home. My apartment is a spacious one bedroom/one bath with good amenities and in the mistake. In comparison to other complexes in Las Colinas, I will say my floor plan and price (pricey for some areas of DFW), is a better option, although its not one of the newest built complexes -it is well kept and updated. Most of the newer complexes the floor plans are smaller for same price or higher - but you get brand new. My first neighbor above my unit when I first moved here was quiet, unlike my current one who is very loud at times (mainly walk with bricks on his/her feet). Other than that it's pretty quiet here.

Living here has been absolutely wonderful. Maintenance requests are responded to very quickly. They keep the grounds looking absolutely beautiful. Always looking for ways to improve it. I love the community events that they have such as breakfast or tacos and margaritas. It all just brings us closer as a community.

i have been living here with my wife for almost a year and now breaking the contract because it is no longer bearable and the management is incompetent. The sound isolation is horrible, you can hear everything from every direction and the neighbors are rude and disrespectful. when you notify the management about the noise they say they can't do anything about it even though they get you to sign specifically on the contract to keep noise to levels that will not disturb other residents. There is thrash around all the time and it smells, there is dog poop around the property all the time. Not to mention the drunks and the loud people roaming the hallways especially on late nights on the weekends.

I lived here from 2011-2015, living in one of the exterior apartments (not in the mid-rise), and was here when the second phase opened. I moved here because of the promixity to the DART station (visible across Northwest Hwy and a 10 minute walk), the Irving Convention Center (a few good beer and food conventions every year), and the 15 minute drive to DFW airport. Living in Las Colinas also means you're almost always driving against traffic, which makes it a 15-20 minute drive to Uptown/Downtown even during rush hour. The property is quiet and well looked after, with constant landscaping going on, and the parking lines have been repainted at least twice since I have been here. The treadmills in the main workout facility were replaced with new models after a few maintenance problems, and they also upgraded the leasing center while I was here, partioning off the common area so it is now available when the office is closed. Their online system is great - maintenance requests can be submitted online, and you get emails when packages arrive. The biggest compliment I can give for this complex, though, is for the staff. Turnover at apartments can make for a horrible resident experience, but at Via Las Colinas the same friendly, helpful, and attentive leasing center people that I signed my original lease with were still there four years later, and the maintenance department is the exact same way. It's never a great experience when your air conditioner goes out during the summer or you have a leaking ice maker, but being able to talk with the same person over such a long span of time is a very unique and comforting experience. The three negatives about the complex are minor - the two exterior walls in the master bedroom cause it to always be a few degrees hotter or colder than the living room, the new speed bumps are aggressively high, and residents leave their curbside trash out the night before (instead of the morning of). I highly recommend this apartment, especially with the Music Factory entertainment complex being built across the highway.

I have lived here almost 3 years and I can't wait to move. The apartments are nice enough, HOWEVER, there is rampant crime, drug use (hallways smell like pot.. there have been multiple drug busts on property), dog poop everywhere, noise, and the office staff is like a revolving door. The only good manager, Sam, left and the property has gone down hill since. Lincoln Las Colinas lets in dangerous dogs and does not enforce their so called "restricted breed" list. My dog was viciously attached (12 puncture wounds and a fractured tooth that had to be pulled) in the parking lot by a pitbull boxer mix that was not supposed to be here. The residents have begged the office to enforce their own restrictions and perhaps conduct a temperament test before allowing dogs to move in but they refuse to do so. When you tell the office about the banned dogs, they feign ignorance and turn a blind eye. A new apartment complex went up across the street that allows some of the breeds that Lincoln supposedly bans. The owners of those dogs now come to the Lincoln dog park. Over a year ago I asked that a sign be put up at the park stating that it is for Lincoln residents only. I was told that the sign was being made. As I said, THAT WAS OVER A YEAR AGO and still no sign. It will only get worse when the newest property across the street opens. They also could care a less when you complain about the excess dog poop that is EVERYWHERE. In regards to crime, we recently received a letter from the office that they are having problems with theft and that we should not go out at night alone. I have personally seen random cars driving around the property at night with flood lights looking for open garages and/or doors and my neighbors told me that they have had various scary men knock on their doors. Lincoln had to address the crime about two years ago after several break-ins and a motorcycle being stolen from the parking garage. As a result, there is now a police officer that lives on property, however, the crime has ramped up again. Your rent will go up by $100 - $200 when it's time for renewal. When it's time to move out, YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR DEPOSIT BACK REGARDLESS IF YOU LEFT THE PROPERTY BETTER THAN WHEN YOU MOVED IN AND YOU WILL PAY FOR NEW CARPET PERIOD (some have paid upwards of $800 upon leaving). For a period of time, the fire alarms were regularly going off early in the morning (3:30 - 4). They haven't recently but the residents think that is because Lincoln disarmed them against fire regulations, and not fixed the issue. I would highly recommend that you look elsewhere and not consider Lincoln LC. Be warned.

Its like living in a kick drum with a nice yard. Pros and Cons after living here for 15 months. Pros: 1. The grounds are nice, landscaping is kept up frequently and with little inconvenience. 2. Nice pool and adequate gym 3. Location is great for access to 114 and GB 4. Parking is nearly always available 5. Maintenance is quick a polite. Cons: 1. The noise. I have a first floor apartment and sound through my ceiling never stops. Footsteps, conversations, dogs running/barking, cabinets closing, dish ware clanking. You will hear it all. 2. Management is completely non-responsive unless you speak to them in person. Emails and message go unanswered. 3. Office hours are terrible if you work during the day. Open 10 to 5:45 weekdays, with no after hour options. Plan on leaving the office early or taking lunch if you need to pick up a package from the office. 4. Dog crap everywhere. There are great walking areas along the lake and two dog parks/areas, but you will encounter dog crap all over the grounds. Watch your step. For my first 12 months at Lincoln Las Colinas I was reasonably satisfied. However my polite and considerate upstairs neighbor moved out and my new neighbors are awful. Management has been unwilling to take any action and does not respond to my email/messages. The convenience of the location to my office made me willing to over look the other shortcomings. However after dealing with the noise issues and a management team seemingly only focused on leasing to new clients, I can not recommend this complex with any confidence.

Las colinas area is very nice and accessible through 114 and Northwest Hwy. However, there are newer apartments buildings across Lincoln Las Colinas that are much nicer and newer. We lived at this place for 2.5 years and absolutely unsatisfied with condition of apartment and office staff. We Lived in the mid-rise building where it is served by parking garage. You have hard time to find a parking spot. Besides there is long walk to your apartment. So if you buy groceries, you have to carry them for along walk. There are only few parking available for guests. Each time that we had guest, we really embarrassed with parking conditions. Besides, it was simply not possible for them to find our apartment as the the hallways are very confusing for new people. So we had to go get all the guests from outsides. The apartments are too dark that we had to turn on the lights through day time. The walls are too tiny that you can hear what your neighbors doing in their bedroom. The office staff are really unprofessional. They really didn't care about our complains about smell in our bedrooms. We agreed on move out date with Angela( office staff). At the move out date we learned that she has altered our move-out notice and changed the date without even notifying us!! The fact that she has altered the move out date without our agreement is completely unacceptable. Lincoln apartments have got problems. They offer incentive at the moving in but they charge for minor damages big bucks at the move out. They charged us for carpet replacement of whole apartment only for couple of minor stains in the living room. I absolutely recommend not to lease in this place.

I've only lived here for a month, so here are my thoughts so far: Shannon is great! She'll genuinely help you out with whatever you need and answers any questions you may have about Lincoln Las Colinas. 4th floor park lighting is not the brightest, but very safe - the whole area feels pretty safe. Parking spaces are plenty big. There is always parking for me on the 3rd or 4th floors (I sometimes park on the 3rd floor to avoid frost on the windshield). I haven't seen any doors propped open, but it is a very cold winter. Noises are occasional from a dog barking or thumps from music, but overall it's pretty quiet compared to other complexes. I'm in 3xx so noise level may be dependent on your neighbors. They fixed the fire alarm problem by doing a lot of rewiring; I haven't heard any fire alarms yet. Maintenance is quick; I put in a request one morning and they came in the afternoon to fix what I needed. They even helped me power drill one of my tables. Neighbors I pass in the halls are all very nice and respectful; feels nice to be here. I'll update as I go, but overall, it's been a good experience. UPS will also sometimes put packages in storage boxes and leave the key in your mailbox so you can pick it up at your leisure - neat! Wish the office hours were longer since my commute is a bit long, but that's my problem!

Poorly lit 4th Floor lighting in parking garage. Only one handicap space, and someone usually tried to park on the edge making the space tight. People constantly left doors open for entering the building. Multiple break-ins and car part thefts. Very quiet - rarely heard the neighbors. Slate floors were awful to clean. No self-cleaning oven. Never enough hot water. They did not service my air conditioner and my usual electric bill went from around $60 to over $160 and never went down after that. Fire Alarms went off frequently in the middle of the night with slow response to rectify. No vents in the hallway - smelled like "dirty dog" and the trash "smell" was never rectified and was nauseating - literally. Dogs were constantly off leash or on a long leash and would jump at you, and everyday when you pulled up to the parking garage, a large one was usually taking a giant "dump" out in full view in front of the building - disgusting! Animal feces or pee in hallways frequently. My Mother had to sit by the exit door and wait for me to get the car. By the time I brought the car up from the 3rd floor, she was screaming she was going to throw up from the trash smell - she literally did in my car once, but was sick from it every time. No one would address it as there was no fix other than "deodorizer", it being a health problem, I finally packed and moved. I had to spend days walking in the area with the awful stinch from the trash while I moved and was literally sick. Other neighbors said they complained about it also. Said they provided an office area, but no fax available - you had to wait until they opened at 10. I found privileged information belonging to someone else on part of an acknowledgement paper that the fax did not go through frequently and had to hand over to the office personnel. Constantly no paper available or toner was out. They told me one of my faxes went through, and it did not. Delayed me recouping money owed by about 3 weeks.

I've lived in phase 2 since May and will be moving somewhere else when my lease is up. My upstairs neighbor listens to music and movies at a deafening level on what sounds like a surround sound system. The last few nights, I feel like I've been in one of those nightclubs that play techno music. Just constant booming. I've called security several times but nothing changes. I live alone and don't feel safe asking the person myself to lower the volume. This situation has had me considering just breaking my lease. It's unbearable. Additionally, I would prefer that the community be gated. I don't understand why it isn't? I know this is something I knew before moving in, but it is a problem when I hear about stuff being stolen from garages and people parking in our grass/parking spaces for events. It doesn't feel safe. I work in the area and didn't imagine that I would feel unsafe here. Otherwise, the staff seems nice, and I haven't had issues with the apt itself.

Lived here for 2.5 months and have encountered numerous problems. To break it down: 1. Told we would have balcony on unit, on move-in day found out it was a juliet balcony. 2. Told we would have hard floors (not carpet), upon on move-in day came into unit with carpet. 3. Toilet was leaking on the first day. 4. Unit was not clean upon move in. 5. Fire alarms have gone off (without a fire) at 3:30am - 4:00 am about every-other week since we have moved in (lasts for about 20 min straight). 6. Whoever installed the poles in the closet nailed a support beam into the waterline from the washer so water slowly leaked into our closet and proceeded to accumulate mold in the wall and on the carpet. Initially we were told we had to wait 2 days for someone to check it out and we would have to go through renters insurance because it wasn't their responsibility. during this process had multiple employees tell us there was nothing they could do. 7. Since there is no ventilation in the bathroom, mold grew on the door. 8. Shower knob broke for, literally, no reason. The complex looks nice from the outside, and other people may have better experiences than us, but based off of our experience I would not recommend living here for very long!

We've lived here now a year and half and still call Lincoln our Home. Maintience is great, parking in garage is great(need more outside Guest parking), Towing to be enforced more in parking garage during Holidays.Staff in office is great. Only one main complaint now is them LOUD Fire Alarms and the harmful effect its having on the residences living here going off every month and a half now. Doesn't seem to bother the firemen at all as after they shut off alarm their on their way without letting residences know when its safe to go back inside. More & more residents in the midrise building are staying inside and that can be dangerous in the event a fire really was to happen. This is a definite emotional problem.....Not to mention it affects the working person losing sleep. One more tiny thing : When Movers come in to move people in or out, they should have to either check into the office or get a copy from person their moving saying IF they scratch up the walls or abuse the elevator or leave door open when they leave they could be subject to fines . This is our home after all and they should treat it as such !!!!! All in all Lincoln Las Colinas Apartments are a nice and safe place to call home.

The three main positives of this apartment community is the maintenance staff, look and feel of the apartments, and the friendly/helpful staff. There are three main negative aspects of this apartment community. First are the inconsiderate residents living in the Midrise building. Residents leave the exterior doors open because they are too lazy to bring their key (live in the garden level apartments if you do not want to bring your key). Residents do not clean up after their dogs even with dog bags feet away. Second, Fire alarms go off almost monthly between 3:45am - 4:45am on weeknights. We had a fire alarm during this time in April, September, October, and November (already). Management has no way to identify the source of the issue. Third, Management has all these rules that they do not enforce. They send out notices to cover themselves if people complain enough, but it does not go beyond that. For example, enforcing parking restrictions in the garage and exterior reserved parking. Limiting the number of swimming pool guests by require bracelets to be worn. Restricted dog breeds no longer allowed but new residents still have these breeds.

LOVE LOVE LOVE! I have lived here for about a year now. But I am moving out. The only reason I'm moving is because of the price. I am a single woman who lives by myself and I've never felt safer living here. The people in the office are SUPER nice and the maintenance crew is amazing. My air went out in the middle of August at 10pm at night and they came within the hour and had I working in15 mins. Any time i submit a request the come the very next day to fix it. I got a free 51 inch tv when I moved in an it's mine to keep. I have no complaints living here and I really hate to move. But I need something more reasonably priced.

This is a great complex overall. The grounds are well kept, there is ample parking in the parking garage, and the office staff and maintenance folks are responsive. The office is pretty strict about keeping the grounds clean (from trash and pet feces) and it shows. I lived down the street from here (mandalay) for two years and had a terrible experience with office management and folks not picking up after their pets, which is why I moved out. My only complaint is about the trash room bins in mid raise building (not the garden homes). The trash bins are small and fill up quickly on the weekends. The complex has them serviced frequently, but they still fill up and people are forced to leave their trash in the trash room on the floor or take it back to their apartment. As of now, there is a police officer who lives in the community and the building is patrolled by the las colinas city patrol. There is also a great work out class in the gym three days a week. I lived here for one year and am moving out to go back to school in another city. Otherwise I'd definitely stay. For the price and area this place is great and unlike other places I've lived, there is consistency with the office staff. They are genuinely friendly have always helped me out.

My husband and I moved in over a year ago and we don't have any complaints. We live on 4th floor above the other floors above the office and we find it very peaceful and we have use of the elevator so we don't have to climb stairs if we don't want to. Electric Bill is reasonable with our electric service. Very reasonable in fact. We are in a large one bedroom. Love our balcony and the breeze we get when we sit outside at night or in the daytime. Great view of Convention Center Fireworks. Maintinence is very dependable when putting in a work order. Halls are airconditioned and never too hot or too cold which is very nice.No parking problems in garage. Need more visitor parking spots as sometimes on weekend the ones we have fill up fast. All in all a very pleasant atmosphere we can call Home.Nice Walkway by the lake and benches to rest on or to just watch the ducks or feed the fish.

I have lived here for over a year and I would definitely recommend these apartments to anyone looking in the area. The office staff is very nice and friendly. The maintenance people will answer a request as fast as they can. The property is always very clean and pretty. I live in the main building and the hallways are always clean. I never see anybody cleaning them but they never have trash and always look freshly swept or mopped. Parking in the garage is never a problem. Plenty of extra spaces. I've only had to park on the level above or below my apartment about 5 times. That's not bad at all since theres an elevator right there. It's always quiet. The only time I hear my upstairs neighbor is when they are vaccuuming and even that is very quiet. The only thing I can complain about these apartments is the fire drills in the middle of the night. It wakes you up and you have to get your pet and walk outside and wait for the all clear for about 20 minutes. I've only been there for two fire drills and I don't know how often they have them, but its not that bad just annoying.

I lived here for 13 months and while the property is very lovely, the rest of the experience wasn't that great. I did a lot of research on the area when I was looking for apartments and I did read that the staff was rude and that they try and stiff you for new carpet, but I understand people generally write reviews when they're angry, so I wasn't too concerned. The girl who showed us apartments was super nice and very knowlegable and had we dealt with any other staff members, we might not have come back. While in the office getting information one of the managers offered what sounded like a too good to be true deal, and I asked the leasing agent if the manager (------) was serious. She said absolutely, so I signed up. When the day came for me to sign my lease, ------ completely renegged on the entire deal. Unfortunately, it was a little too late, my moving arrangements were made and I had to be out of my old apartment. So I signed the lease and paid the extra amount. Lo and behold, I heard similar stories about deals from other residents. I was told that the apartment they showed would be cleaned prior to my moving in. It wasn't. When signing the lease, ------ had me sign the damage checklist prior to my taking the apartment. She assured me that it was only a formality and there would be one for me to fill out attached to my copy of the lease. There wasn't. The office was closed by the time I got home from work every day, so I missed the deadline to report any previously existing damage, but they had a nice blank one signed by me on file. As I later found out, this was a common occurance and is possibly a way for them to keep people's deposits. Any time I've had to deal with the office, the staff has been incredibly rude. When you need a package, they huff. When you're talking with a leasing agent, they'll often leave to deal with another resident without explanation. They also give out misinformation. When I was going to fill out my notice of non-renewal, the girl (------, I believe) told me there was nothing I needed to sign. I told her I really didn't think that was the case and only after arguing with me, she went and asked and of course, there was a paper I needed to fill out. Had I not insisted, I would have been charged another months rent. My neighbor liked to play his TV loud enough that it resonated down the breezeway and actually shook my walls. When I asked the office to take care of it, they said there was nothing they could do. I've heard several other residents complain about the same thing throughout the complex. Also, the trash pickup rule was not very well enforced and there were often bags of trash sitting on the curbs overnight and all weekend. Often times their online rent payment system is down. This is also the system that is used to put in requests for maintenance. If you try to call the office for help, good luck getting someone to answer. 9 times out of 10 you'll be forwarded to a 1-888 number call center, where they cannot answer questions or help out with anything actually related to your apartment. Granted a third party manages their website, but a resident should be able to get ahold of someone who can fix these issues. The maintenance staff was prompt and very friendly, although, there was the fear that they were coming into our apartments while we were out. On two separate occasions, I came home to my belongings being moved and once to some short dark hair in my bathroom sink. A friend who also lives there found red splotches in his carpet trailing from the bathroom to the living room, a red smear on the wall and red hair in his shower. Neither of us have short dark hair no bright red hair. We started surveilling our apartments after that. While the property itself is very nice, parking is ample and it's generally quiet, I cannot recommend this place to anyone. The incompetence and rudeness of the office staff outweighs the pretty landscape.

Best community I've lived at in years
I live on the first floor and I hear no noise from upstairs or next door which is much harder to find than one might think... The community atmosphere is great, we do all kinds of fun activities together and have made many friends here which doesn't normally happen at most communities. I have lived her for almost two years and I plan on resigning my lease again for a 3rd year because I love it so much. If I had any complaints they wouldn't be worth noting and give my highest suggestion to live at Lincoln Las Colinas!! Kevin

Happy Resident in all areas
I have lived here for the last 4 months and this is my first apartment living in over 25 years do to a job relocation. I have had nothing but a positive experience my entire stay. The first thing that is noticeable is the friendly and professional staff that greets you when you walk in the doors. All of my questions were answered, and they went above and beyond to help me get settled into my new temporary home. I have read a couple of these post, and I can honestly say that I have one one occasion heard a baby cry above me, but that has been all. I live in the area with the parking garage, and I have never had a problem with finding a space for either of my vehicles. I would recommend this apartment complex to anyone and everyone. I don't know what some of these responders are expecting from an apartment life, but it would be difficult to find anything nicer for the price that one pays monthly.

The good, the bad & the ugly
I was one of the first residents to move into this complex over two years ago when it was first built so I've seen it all. I would like to think my review of Lincoln Las Colinas is fair, honest, and most importantly, helpful to others trying to decide whether they want to live here. Why I moved to Lincoln Las Colinas: What first attracted me to Lincoln Las Colinas was that the complex was new. I was the first resident to live in my unit which was nice. I really liked the style of the apartment complex in that the finishes are more traditional than that of some of the surrounding apartment communities which were either very modern or Mediterranean/ Tuscan (not that there is anything wrong with either). Everyone that has ever come to visit me has said how nice these apartments are inside. At the time the rent was also very fair, but I suspect that had something to do with the fact that the apartments were brand new and they wanted to attract residents. The good things: Location- Close to major hwys, downtown Dallas and the airport. Pets- Very pet friendly. They have a pet area/ park on the grounds. Finishes- apartments are fairly new and the finish out is nice. Maintenance- Maintenance is awesome. I never really had to call on them since the apartments were pretty new, but if I did they always came right away. The bad: Parking- As others have mentioned parking is an issue. I lived in the main building so I never really had any issues because I could park my vehicle in the parking garage, but if I had any visitors they were out of luck. There is virtually no visitor parking in the evenings or on weekends. Visitors are not allowed to park in the main parking garage. This is nice in that there is always parking on all levels of the garage for residents, but it really does stink for anyone who visits you. This won't be noticeable to anyone who tours the apartment because during the day it's generally not an issue, but drive by in the evening and you will see that every single spot is taken up and a lot of exterior spots are marked reserved. I counted once and I memory serves me right, there are only about 40ish un-reserved exterior spots for a complex of more than 500 units. Trash- Maybe this is a petty thing to gripe about, but it is something that I feel should be mentioned as it appears that the management reads this site. I can't remember exactly what the trash fee is, but it is pretty high considering that I have to take my own trash out. Most places that charge as much as Lincoln Las Colinas have curbside trash service. If you live in the townhome style apartment you can put your trash on the curb, but if you live in the main building you have to walk your trash in the garbage room which reeks. A lot of the times residents don't even put trash into the bin they just leave it on the floor of the room where it sits all weekend and leeks all over the floors. As an apartment complex that bills themselves as "luxury" let me assure you that this is not luxurious at all. Noise- The thing that I always found very odd was that I could hear my neighbors flush their toilets. It sounds like Niagara Falls coming through the walls. Never in any previous apartment that I lived in could I hear my neighbors flush their toilets. You get use to the sound, but it is odd. Like every apartment complex, the walls are thin. I think the noise is even more of an issue if you live in the main building on the lower floors because you can hear the echo of people walking on the concrete floors of the hallways and the slamming of exteriors doors. Honestly, I would recommend living on a higher floor and not living in a unit against one of the stairwells, otherwise expect to hear a lot of noise. Also, if your unit faces Northwest Hwy like mine did, you will hear a lot of road noise. Forget sitting out on you balcony on a nice spring evening or opening your windows, all you will hear is cars whizzing by. I'm sure units that face the courtyards or the lake on the backside of the complex are much quieter. Building access- No one ever tells you that you don't get a key to access the exterior doors to get into the main building. Because of this residents in the main building constantly prop the doors open, or even worse, they will yank on the door handles to open the doors to get in. It is really a joke that the building is secure. Anyone who wants to get into the building can. There are a couple boxes around the main building where guests can key in a code so you can allow them in, but you have to get the office to program your name in. Construction- There are apartments being built to the east and west of the complex. There is also construction for the Dart rail across the street. There is debris everywhere surrounding the complex. My neighbor ran over a nail when she was pulling into the main entrance of the the complex which I am sure was left over from the construction. The Ugly: Pet feces- I love that these apartments are pet friendly, but quite a few residents will let their animals urinate and poop everywhere without cleaning it up. I've seen it in the hallways, the courtyards (it was so much of a problem that residents are no longer allowed to have pets in the courtyards), and on the grounds. I also saw residents who picked up the feces and bag it in little green bags only to set it out in the hallway where it would smell up common areas. Crime- It is definitely an issue. You can look up crimes stats for this area and they are high. For awhile they had to have an empty police car parked outside every night to try to deter thieves. Several cars have been broken into and I actually spoke to a policeman that lives in the complex who told me that there was a unit that was recently broken into. I'm sure the crime is not isolated to just Lincoln Las Colinas, but thieves do target the apartment community because it is high end. The office has sent out notices several times alerting residents about it. The reason I moved: When I first moved to Lincoln Las Colinas I enjoyed living there. The complex was new and there was really very little to complain about, if anything. I knew there was a lot of construction since they were re-doing Northwest Hwy, but I had no idea that after two and half years construction would still be going on everywhere. I can't say that living in a constant construction zone appeals to me now. At first, I was willing to deal with it because my rent was fairly cheap, but after a 12% increase the first year I renewed and a 20% increase this last time around I am just not willing to live there anymore. As a single girl I was also concerned about the crime as it has been steadily increasing. I think all the 5 star glowing reviews of this complex are a joke. If you read most of them you will note that they really have nothing negative to say. They don't mention ay details about the area or the complex except that it fabulous and they love it. They never say anything about the parking issues, the noise, or the crime which are all blatantly obvious issues if you actually live/ lived at Lincoln Las Colinas. I wouldn't say that people should not live at Lincoln Las Colinas, rather I just think that there are some key things that people should know about that the leasing residents aren't going to willing tell you. If you carefully select your unit (avoid the Northwest Hwy side, units near the garbage room, units near stairwells) and know about some of the issues beforehand you will probably find that living at this complex is just fine. If you go into it blindly and believe all the 5 star reviews I can pretty much guarantee that you will end up being disappointed by this apartment complex.

Excellent Home
I lived in these apartments for 2 and a half years I was one of the first residents here when it was first built, it was a great home for me, the staff was always nice, it was clean, never had any issues, I would recommend this place above all the ones in that las colinas area, plus its such a great view of the city. thanks lincoln las colinas staff !

DO NOT move here
Price: Do they think this is uptown? There isn't anything in Las Colinas, yet they want to keep jacking up rates? There are a TON more apartments that have been built in the area and are being built. Supply and demand says rates should not go up or at least that fast. Rules: These people are RULES natzis. It's so bad that you are only allowed to bring 1 guest with you to the pool. How do they enforce that? They give you rubber bracelets you need to wear at the pool. Umm who wants a tan line on your wrist? Parking/Garage: Live in the outer buildings? You might have trouble finding a spot. But your guests will NOT be able to find a spot. Live in the inner buildings? The gate will probably close on your car. Happened to my friend and management blamed her and wouldn't pay for it. It malfunctions all the time. Pets: Despite city and property rules, they WILL NOT enforce the leash and poop laws. People's dog pee in the hallways so they smell bad. People's dogs run up to yours and scare the crap out of it. Solicitation: Despite a sign that says "No Solicitation" we get crap on our doors almost daily. And now strip clubs are putting flyers on our cars too. Can't management call the number on the flyers and say STOP?! Construction: It's been a CONSTANT. The Dart rail, NW Highway that's done now but you still have to deal with another year of more apartments being built to the east and west. Noise: Construction of course but if you live above a garage you can hear it every time it opens. Even if you're on the 3rd floor. If you live on the inner buildings, the hallways can be loud as well! Walls are thin, so just hope you don't live next to someone with a howling dog!!
