HELL NO!
This apartment complex is the worst thing to ever live in!The parking is ridiculas!!! IF you dont make it home before 7p.m. you have to park out at the street where my car was a hit and run victim! The staff is the most unproffesional group i have ever seen! My neighbors complain every time my alarm clock or tv or computer is on! They even came over and tried to make me rearriange my apartment to suit them! I WILL NEVER LIVE HERE AGAIN!!!

Nice Place to Live
I've lived here for almost two years and enjoy the apartment complex. It has nice facilities, location, and staff. There are a couple problems though. Parking is difficult if you come home late - you may have to walk all the way across the complex or in front of it if there aren't any spots available. There were multiple cars and apartment break ins a year ago, although there haven't been any lately so maybe that has been taken care of. I'll be moving out in two months because work has me traveling too far, otherwise I'd still be staying here.

Re: Last review from angry resident at Paramount
In regards to the last review, the parking does suck. However, the staff is very nice. I have never had a problem getting my packages. Why would they want to keep a residents package? Thats just plain silly! Could it have been over looked because of all the packages that they have, yes. That is probably what happened. When i call to get something fixed they are there pretty quickly and fix whatever it is right away. If a part is needed, they have to order it and then they come back once the part comes in, but i have never had a problem like that. They have even sent someone out on Sunday and thats rare at any apartment complex. As far as the staff goes they are very friendly. Anna is very nice and i have never had a problem getting her on the phone or seeing her in the office. I think that it is just bad timing that you were unable to get in touch with her. I dont have any complaints except for the parking. that definitly sucks and do not see it getting any better unless they loose a lot of residents.

Worst Apartment In Texas
If you want to live in hell move into Paramount at Kingwood. Lets start this off with the terrible parking. You can purchase the parking pass but that does not mean your going to have a place to park. If you arrive after about 7 p.m. you can forget parking in the gated area. So then they want you to park outside along the road where you car can be broke into or hit by another car. If you decide to park inside the gate but not in a parking spot they WILL tow your car even though you purchased the parking pass. Now for the apartments. They are nice but if you have a maintenance issue expect to wait up to a week before they get to it. As far as the people in the office well let me just be nice and say they are worthless. If you have a package in the back they will pretend that they are looking but in all honesty they are not. I had a package back in the back room for nearly a week and everyday they kept saying it wasn't there but when I would track it, it showed to be in front office. The apartment manager Anna is never there to talk too. If you call and ask for her she has always stepped out. She must have a second job or something. As far as the rest of them, well lets just say they are just as bad. We have frequent power outages, when this happens the gates will shut and you will have to wait till someone gets there to let you out. I had to go buy the parts to fix my own toilet because they would not come fix it. I paid for the gate remote and when it broke they said they did not have another one to give me. Corporate should consider new managment before this place becomes completely empty. Just take my advice and stay far away from this place.

Professionalism and parking are lacking.
The Paramount at Kingwood apartment is a great place to live. I have no complaint about the location, the maintennce staffs, but the parking spaces and Eric(one of the employer at this apartment). He is very rude and lack of knowledge. I don't understand how can he get a great relaxing job at this property. The parking space is the biggest problem in this apartment. I think the owner should consider about this issue in order to help their current residents.

Professionalism and parking are lacking. Apartments themselves are nice.
I have lived here for about a year now and must say that the professionalism of the staff here is severely lacking. Eric and Louis in particular have been rude to me and other residents several times. Do not bother to ask Eric a question because half the time the answer will be the wrong. When you call him on giving you the wrong info, he will play it off as if it is not his fault. I don't mean to be insulting, but his lack of intelligence and professionalism is quite surprising at such a nice complex. Also, you can expect to wait a few minutes to be helped each time you go into the office. It is obvious that once you are a resident you are no longer their priority. And before I get backlash from the staff - no, I am not a headache resident. I have never caused any problems. I only go into the office to check rent, pick up a package, or a maintenance issue. Parking is also an issue here. People who say that they do not have problems with parking must get home before 6pm. If you get home later in the evening then you can expect to make quite a walk to your apartment. If you get home early or don't mind walking then it should not be a problem. Aside from that, the apartments themselves are quite nice. I don't have noise problems except every once in a while on a Saturday night. The maintenance staff is great and are quick to get jobs done. Most neighbors are kind and understand the responsibilities of living in an apartment complex. The only complaint I have is that some people start to leave their garbage out too early and raccoons will start to come around. The convenience of being right next to the freeway and the front of Kingwood is very nice.

The best apt's in Kingwood
I am so surprised to be reading any negatives about The Paramount at Kingwood. I have been living here almost a year now and love it. The floorplan is awesome. My apartment is roomy and has wood floors. I compared it to other complexes in the area and it is several hundered dollars a month cheaper! I have had no issues with crime, break in's or parking. I just come home and park anywhere I want because they always have open spots. The maintanance staff are very prompt and courteous. The management remembered my name and I had only been living there a couple of weeks, that really impressed me. They are always so nice when I go to pick up packages and never keep me waiting. They are always so courteous when I go into the office and greet me right away. I love the location of the apt's. It is so much easier to get to since it's right off the interstate. I never have problems with noise or neighbors. I love the front door trash service. I would definitely recommend this complex. It is very well kept, has beautiful grounds and great floorplans. I have double sinks in my bathroom and a huge walk in closet next to my garden tub! I absolutely love it here. I have no complaints about this complex. I am happy to have found a place where the staff cares about its residents and the property is well maintained. I would recommend The Paramount at Kingwood to anyone who wants a quiet spot thats easy to get to after a hard days work!

I am blessed to not have moved in.
If you move into these apartments you are asking for trouble. First and foremost the professionalism of the staff is well below average. I think the requirement to work here is a high school diploma and an IQ of 70. Secondly, there is inadequate security and with the influx on people from New Orleans the crime there is a concern. I would hate to worry about my car every night. I don't trust the management to care about my safety when leasing an apartment to someone; all they care about is their bottom line. They say they are trying to do better but I doubt they even really care. Thirdly, there are nicer apartments elsewhere that are roughly the same cost. They are located in nicer areas of Kingwood. Don't get stuck in a long-term lease here. I promise you; you will regret it. :)

Crazy people
There is some crazy lady that lives in the apartment next to me! The parking sucks and some of these crazy people call to get cars towed that aren't supposed to be there. It's normal to get towed but she stares out the window waiting for some car that don't belong there to call so she can call the tow company. It's a little weird. Other than the crazy ppl and parking everything else is pretty good everyone is pretty nice

Good aparmtments
We have lived here for 7 months in a 3rd floor unit. The apartments are pretty quiet. We had good neighbors though. The office staff is friendly. They repair things in a timely manner. Grounds are well kept. The only problem we had was the parking. Parking is a HUGE problem here. Everyone parks illegally because there are no valid parking spots avail. You can pay for a carport or garage but we couldnt afford one. You have to pay $5.00 a month for trash service and this non optional. We would recommend this aparmtent. Its nice and close to 59 and you avoid the traffic from inside Kingwood.

Nice place
Positives: I loved it at the Paramount. I had to break my lease because I got married and bought a house, and they bent over backwards to get my apartment leased so I wouldn't have to pay a reletting fee. The grounds were beautiful and the pool...well, let's just say, WOW! Loved having a washer and dryer in the apt. Negative: The parking SUCKS depending on what part of the complex you lived in. My building had 24 apartments and only about 10 free (vs. paid covered or garage)spaces. I would often have to park in the back of the complex if I got home after 6 pm. But, in all honesty, it wasn't extremely far, just inconvenient when I had my hands full.

DO NOT MOVE IN HERE!
I would NOT recommend this complex. I lived there for 6 months (thank god) an a 3rd floor 1 bedroom. They allow you to leave your trash outside your door so they can pick it uo 3 days a week but 25 lb raccons are also waiting for your trash. They are huge, scary and the office will do nothing about them. Maintenance calls were answered promptly and with polite repairmen. I over paid one month and somehow they cashed the check but mysteriously couldn't find it after i asked for it back. Once it was time to move out they asked me to move out early b/c they had overbooked and said they wouldnt charge me for any damages (should've got that in writing). A month after i moved out i received a bill for carpet that had "urine" damage, however i never had a pet...weird huh? the office staff is only concerned about money, not safety or happiness, especially the property manager.

its, OK...better than most places.
I have been here since this place opened up. management: I have not had any issues with management, and I am surprised this place has changed hands 3 times, I only knew of the change when Farb sold it. I pay my rent and I only talk to management a every now and then and I have not encountered any rudeness. it was nice when i didn't have a water bill then they started charging the residents a water bill about a year ago. although every time it came up for renewal they wanted to charge me an extra 25 bucks tho, but we talked about the rate increase and they were able to reduce the rate increase...probably cause I pay my rent on time, nobody near me has had any issues with me and i have been here for a very long time. apartment maintenance, when ever i have had issues they usually get it fixed that day or the day after. their maintenance people are professional and they get the problem fixed in a timely manor. Parking: it can be a pain at times, but only if i come home after 8pm. there has only been a few times when i couldn't find a parking spot after 2 in the morning and i had to take a handicap spot. it would be nice if they would give at least one covered parking slot to each apartment, but i guess they need to earn extra cash. the do have garages, but i am not paying the 90 buck's, i could be wrong about the price i haven't bothered to look into it in a while. Apartment looks: this place is pretty nice, except for that big pile of raccoon droppings on the roof of the first floor of my building. you can only see it from the 2nd and 3rd floor stairs tho. the trash pick up is nice, but if you leave your trash out overnight, then that raccoon the size of a 40 pound dog will get into it....no wonder that damn thing is huge. there are critters in the area, and i once found a wounded copperhead (a crow got to it first) in the parking lot, so i called up the manager and the maintenance guy came out to dispatch it. for the most part i have not had any issues with insects. Crime: what can i say, its in a suburb of Houston. i have had a vehicle broken into, and the tires stolen off of my truck. there has been a few apartment burglaries and the management does put out notices when they occur. but, they do not tell you which buildings were broken into , or which parking lots had vehicles stolen or broken into. i think this information could be useful for the residents just in case they see something that looks odd. every now and then the gates are broken, but they work the majority of the time i have been here. my apartment does have some cracks in the wall from the foundation settling, i dont consider it a big deal and they will repair it when i move out. for the most part, i dont hear my neighbors, except from the kitchen area..i can hear them closing the cabinets and what not. this is an apartment complex you will hear your neighbors. but for the most part they are pretty quite. overall, for apartments this is a pretty nice place, despite the flaws. if you want something better then go buy a house.

Been here almost a year
I can not even believe the things I am reading about this complex! I have been living here for almost a year now and compared to other apartments in the same price range that I have had experience with this one is the best, hands down! I was a little nervous at first living right on the interstate, but I can't even hear the traffic when I am trying to sleep! The location makes getting home SO easy! I have had absolutelty no problems here. I love the valet trash service. Parking is always an issue at most complexes and they are always trying to be sure that residents have a place to park. I always have a spot when I get home so this is not an issue for me (and I don't have a covered spot either)! The staff has gotten to know me on a personal level and are some of the nicest people I have ever met. They have gone above and beyond to help me when my husband got laid off, even so much to have recommended some job openings that they know of! What apt complex does that??? NONE! I have only had issues with a couple of neighbors which were promptly taken care of and I have had no issues with break-in's etc. Compared to other apt's in the area, this one is the best price for the space. I shopped around to find this out. I can not say enough about the kindness of the staff. They have done so much to help me through this rough spot in my life. I will live here as long as I can because I know the staff really cares about its residents and it shows by the promptness in maintanance requests, the upkeep of the grounds and their attitudes in general toward their residents. It is rare to live in an apt complex where you feel like the management really cares about you, but The Paramount at Kingwood does make me feel this way and I am blessed and very thankful that I made the right decision to move here.

Quite nice place to live
Paramount is a nice place to live. Yes they are some break-ins in the community but that is anywhere you go, even if is a gated community. The manager did a meeting to have a neighbor watch at all times but only few people attended the meeting...so live with it! if people are not willing to cooperate the manager can not do it by herself! Insulation in the apartments is really bad. If you have a noisy neighboor be prepared! you will hear anything..even the bed moving in the middle of the night! Make sure when you terminate your lease everything is cleaned! Have an agent walk with you before you hand in the keys and tell you if there will be any charges. In general the community is quite nice and the apartments are nice and clean. Maintenance staff is excellent!

My new home!!
I recently moved in about three months ago and I really love it here!! The office staff has fufilled every need that I have they are very understanding to personal issues that I have had, they have really gone above and beyond for me and my family... those letters that we have got on the door about crime... i asked the manager about and she said that it is for our knowledge that they send these out to inform us of things going on and make us all more aware of our surroundings. we used to live at the preserve at kingwood and never knew there was such bad crime until we moved here and the manager showed us the crime from the newspaper here locally and we were shocked at all the breakins that were there and they never told any of us! We should just all be glad that they tell us and don't hide it from us you know!! All I can say is that if you are that worried- you should get a house... We love it here and it says alot that all the office people live onsite too!! New to call Paramount home- but so far so good! God luck to all & God Bless! Oh yah- and about the office not doing anything I have seen that maintenance lady with the white hair and that girl, Annie- I think she is the manager- walking late at night and pulling notices off doors & checking everything out- how many apts you know that do that on their personal time?! I guess they do the best they can considering...

I like Paramount
I have only been here a few months and really like it. The staff are great and the complex is very well kept. I am not sure why there are negative comments on this site but did notice they are all anonymous. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wanted a nice clean place to stay where the people are great and the rents are very good.

Good living
I have great things to say about The Paramount. I have been here for almost 4 years and have enjoyed the apt and the complexes associated features. Sure there have been a few break-ins but where can you go now days and be away from such. Thank you to the staff for the efforts made to make this an enjoyable place to live.

Great place to live at Paramount
We have been very pleased with our experience here at the Paramount in Kingwood, TX. The staff is very professional and courteous to a fault and any maintenance issue is handled very quickly and done right the first time. The grounds are very well kept and the pool gets a lot of use and is always in good shape. There have been issues of theft and thieves have been caught as a result of combined effort with residents, management and the security officer. Management has done a good job by raising tenants awareness to these issues and looking after the saftey of residents. We have been here over 5 years and compared to other apartments in the area and other locations in the United States this is one of the best. In fact we now have 2 units here and as we have a lot of options on where to stay we would not stay here unless it was first rate. Many thanks to the team at Paramount for making such a nice community experience available to us and others.

the manager is as much a thief as the people breaking into the autos and apartments. rent from a place that cares about their tenants and the tenants property. i have a stack of notices that were placed on my door regarding breakins to both apartments and autos. this is their definition of security! best wishes to your search. whatever you find i trust it will be a better experience than mine!

On the fence
On my second lease and pretty sure that I won't be renewing. Break-ins (units and cars) are happening at an alarming frequency. This, in itself, is not management's fault. Their OBVIOUS inaction, however, IS. Every single time something happens, they post notices on unit doors reminding us to read our policies and to report suspicious activity. In other words, these geniuses put a flag on your door, making it fairly obvious who is or is not home...hmmm. They need to recognize that the increase in crime makes living here less attractive, and as such, less valuable. Either lower the rent to acknowledge the fact that in the past year, there has been a remarkable increase in crime here, or cut into your profits and hire a F****ing 24/7 guard. Management has not done a single thing to improve conditions, and for that, they are at fault for resident sentiments. Not having water the other night was interesting. Parking can be bothersome, but that's life. Other than these complaints, the apartments are quite nice.

Horrible managment on site
The manager on site would rather place flyers on the door of each tenant stating to call the police and read your apartment policy in case of a theft, or go to a parking permit for each tenant instead of hiring security to protect tenants. How is any of this going to secure people who live there? When someone parks their car where the tenant feels their property will be safe, the parmamount red tags your vehicle and informs you that your car will be towed. Tenants violate this policy for the very same reason, tenants don't want their vehicles stolen and yet managment punishes you for it. It is very apparent who is writing favorable reviews of this apartment complex and you guessed it, not tenants. The owners need to bring in new managment that are capable of securing property and persons living there. The mangement onsite is very unprofessional. This is only my opinon and take it for what it is worth.
