Great Change
I have lived here for 3 years since it opened. There have been lots of changes lately but I have to say that the changes made recently are great!!! Emily is still here and always nice and the new manager is helpful and very friendly unlike some of the others we have had. There is another new girl in the office and she is just as nice. I hope these girls stay around. They are always doing funstuff in the office and parties.. It a lot of fun to live here and its quite. great changes!!!! I love it! its a great place to call home!!! Can't wait for that new tanning bed. Thanks girls!!

love it here
This place is the best in San Marcos! I have lived at a couple of properties here in San Marcos and this is the best by far. My apartment is beautiful! The grounds are always clean and the people in the office are really nice. I have been here 2 months and I had a problem with my garbage disposal, when I called the office they had some one there in like less than an hour. Its just really nice to live in a place where the people in the office know you by name and the maintenance people are really on top of any issues. I love it here and this will be my last move until I graduate.

this place isn't worth the rent
The management is always changing and there are always new faces in the office. That's because this place sucks and no one wants to stick around. I just found out that my neighbors (same floorplan) are paying $150/month less than I am. Hallways are always dirty, and the rent is WAY too high. The apartments are poorly built. Carpet is cheap, and so is the fake tile in the kitchen/bathroom. Countertops are coming away from the walls. It takes forever to get anything fixed. You have to complain 50 times before anything gets done around here. This place has absolutely no charm. It is bland and boring with bad landscaping. Garbage is always heaping in the bins and SMELLY. Don't get an apartment next to the garbage cans. YUCK. I would pick a different place. The only good thing about Park Hill is that it's one of the few new apartments in San Marcos. That's about all it has going for it.

Finally a quite place to live!
I recently moved in here and have to say it is a nice quite living environment. I recently moved from The Zone and before that an even louder place. I am a junior in school now and I need to buckle down and study! Thanks Park Hill! I never knew you were here before and Thanks Apartment Experts for telling me about Park Hill! I have two years left and this is where I'll be until I graduate! <br>Michelle

Love it ! Loveit
I just love it here! The staff is finally settled down and the grounds are being maintained. Just the other day the owner himself was planting flowers! It just goes to show you, if you can´t get someone to do it well ... Then do it yourself! If you´ve lived here before and haven´t been back I say "COME ON HOME!" The rents are down and the service is up!!!! This place is on th erise and really cares!

Lights out?
I would not recommed Park Hill to anyone. I have lived in several apartments and this by far is the worst! I have lived there for my one year lease term and there are several building lights that have been out since then and are are out still...18 to be exact! This place is dark and a light inspection is never done...great...that makes me feel safe! My car has been broken into twice..gee, wonder if it is because it is dark? The management team is always changing and no one ever knows who you are if you go in the office for something. If they acknowledge you then you are lucky! <br> <br>There was a time when we didn´t even have landscapers because there was no money to pay them and the grass grew all tall like it was the ------! Now our landscapers come once a month. The trash is always piled high, dog crap everywhere and the breezeways are always dirty. <br> <br>The only good thing is that the bedrooms and apartments in general are good size; however, the price you pay is ridiculous! The apartments that are brand new in Austin aren´t even this expensive...I wouldn´t mind paying the price if everything else was great, but it is far from that!

Its Okay, but there are Drawbacks
Mangement changes so often they use it as an excuse for not getting stuff done.."oh I´m sorry, your maintance request was taken by someone who´s no longer with us...that´s why it took us 4 months to get to."<br><br>The apartments are nice with a huge bathroom and plenty of bedroom space. <br><br>Later while I was in the process of moving out, I had not reached my move out date or turned in my keys, mangement allowed the carpet cleaning company (they insisted I use their preffered company even though I was hesitant) into my apartment w/o my permission and in complete disregard to the terms of my lease. <br><br>They later charged my for damage to the carpet, calling it pet damage, (which I don't onw) and refused to clean the capet saying it was irrepairable... This after it took Maintence 6 hours to respond to an emergency page about flooding water coming from the icemaker in my fridge which soaked the carpet.<br><br>Needless to say, I have not payed my bill and I've never received any sort of apology from this complex. I've since moved to Dallas and stick to larger Corporate owned/managed complexes<br>
