Awesome place
We moved here from West Coast almost a year back and found this partment to be a blessing. It has great amenities, clean apartments and is closer to the highway minus the noise. Will recommend it 100%

gone down hill
It does has more loud, trashy, college-kids than two years ago. I think that is because of the management. In current time, the market rent is going down. The renew rent is $80/month higher than the market rent for (12 month term). Lots of my friends have to move out due to the difference. Therefore I am not surprised that I often have new neighbour shows up. In addition, the trash and water bill sums up to over $30/month. After the pets are introduced, the grass is not clean anymore. If you do want to try, I suggest do not take apartment on the south side (next to the pool area and volleyball court). The noise from highway and train is more pronounced than other location.

Home Sweet Home
The staff is great they are very helpful. If something needs fixing someone that day or the next day the will have it fixed. Its very safe and the people who live here are very nice. People always stop to say hi or a quick chat. It a great place to call home sweet home.

Very Happy!
My husband and I have lived here for 5 months now and we really enjoy it here! I never have a problem finding a parking space next to our building and I haven't had any problems with theft or any type of security issue. The pool is beautiful and my husband and I love that we have a putting green and a sand volleyball court. The location is wonderful because it is really easy for both of us to get to our jobs and it isn't too far for me to commute to UH for classes. David, one of the office staff, has been extremely helpful with everything we have needed throughout our stay. Sometimes we have problems with bugs and every once in a while something will break in our apartment, but we have never had it take longer than 24 hours for a maintenance to come and fix it. The only reason why we would leave would be to buy a house which we are looking to do by the end of the year to take advantage of the tax credits and everything the government is doing for first time home buyers!

"Going Down Hill" for sure
This is the second time living in this complex. Lived here 5 years ago with my son as a single parent and felt completely safe. Have lived here currently for a year and it has gone down hill. My vehicle has been broken into, management has said and done nothing. We came back here because it was a pet free community...not anymore. My kids no longer play out in the grassy areas because of the dog poop everywhere. Tenants leave dogs out on their patios and bark at everything and everyone. Since new property management has taken over about the only thing they care about is raising rent AGAIN and lawn maintenance. Even the friendliness of office personnel has changed too. Used to be such a quite, safe complex away from the freeway. I have referred this complex to others, unforunately, will not do it again.

Enjoyed my time here
I've lived here for about six months and am moving due to a job transfer. I've enjoyed my time here very much. It's not directly on the freeway and yet very accessible to it. Office staff has been helpful for my stay here, and the amenities are satisfactory. Only odd thing is that my floor plan has the "dining room" separated from the kitchen by the living room. It makes for an awkward set up and thus I feel like it's wasted space.

Going down hill
So I've lived here for a couple years now and it has gone down hill. At first the apartment complex consisted mainly of quiet middle-age folks, families, seniors and maybe even some low key college folk. Now the place has turned into a frat house. There are now loud, trashy, college-kids littering the pool with beer cans, throwing chairs all over the place. They've allowed pets here now, and nobody picks up after their dogs...hence, you can't walk in the grass anymore. The apartment complex borders a ditch where shady people are constantly seen milling around. The bridge outside of the apartment complex has graffiti underneath it including ms-13 gang signs. There are continuous car break-ins, and items stolen from people's patios...though the complex will never admit to this. Parking used to be decent but as the fraternity and sorority-type folk have taken over the place, all of their friends have taken a lot of the parking. I will not be renewing my lease. For the high price you pay to live here, you would expect a completely different atmosphere. On another note. The mail always comes at different times and is often placed in the wrong slots. I do not recommend this place.

Great place to live to live for all ages.
I have lived at this complex for almost a year and have really enjoyed it. The apartments are about 5 years old and have been kept in very good condition. The location is great, right by Hardy if you have a commute, and 5 minutes from the Woodlands. Anything you need you can probably get to within 5 minutes. It has all the amenities you could want or need, a nice gym, pool, putting green, volleyball court, etc. The people here are all really friendly and quiet. There are all types of people and all ages that live here. Elderly couples, families, young professionals, and a few college students. This place is really quiet and relaxing and I've never been bothered by any of my neighbors. There is always available parking and there is covered parking as well as individual garages available for additional fees. They just started allowing small pets but I haven't noticed any problems caused by this like loud barking or poop laying around. The rent was on the high side for the area, but the apartment and location is also much nicer than anything else around. The complex is in the middle of a neighborhood so it's really nice and quiet with a park just across the street. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help. This place has everything I was looking for in an apartment and I'm very happy here. I would recommend it to anyone.

I hate to move
I have loved living here. It's clean, safe and anytime I needed anything, it was taken care of promptly. I wish I could afford to stay here, but I need to find an apartment in a lower price range. This place has set a high standard & it's going to difficult to duplicate!

This started out being a nice place to live, service was prompt and people were courteous but once you are there a while things are different. There were several calls about our air conditioning made but the answer was often "get a new filter" (even thought it was explained that it had just been changed a week prior) and it did nothing to help the problem. The rent went up slightly around the time the lease would be up due to a waiting list of people that would pay to move in so you are stuck with that little extra tacked on and if you do want to move out earlier the explain it will take a while to find tenants... huh. Also, the gated community looks good but the gates are often broken and kept open to public and there has been several problems with the gate key not working. Mail is also a big issue there as well. Every 2 out of 5 days, I have received some one elses mail and the opposite. Also, if you are receiving a package, be sure you are home or you may not get it for weeks. A package had been sent to me a week and a half prior to my birthday and i had got a notice from the front office that there was a package waiting for me but when i got there, they said they didn't have it. I was told to go to the post office. Needless to say, after many round trips, it was not there. So after 2 weeks past my birthday, I received another message from the front desk stating that there had been a package there for me. At the time of getting the package, I had asked how long they had it and they told me about 2 weeks. Needless to say, I would never recommend these appartments to anybody!

mandatory garbage service
this service leaves much to be desired for $1 a day when the rules are followed ie out by 7pm and it has only been picked up 2/3 of the time(missed 14 of 45 scheduled days. Following complaint procedures has not helped. This is frustrating as I could have it in the dumpster myself in no time and not pay to get 66% service.

I couldnt agree more with what you just said. I am so glad I signed an 8 months lease (which is almost over) so I can get out of here. I dont recommend anyone to live here, but if you do only sign a short lease so you can try it out. Another thing is most of the times you cant even check your mail at night because people leave the cars parked there at night.

Great apartment, staff and location
I have lived in two apt's here and have been completely satisfied with everything. The prices are fair, apartments very well maintained, community is very chill and maintenance, as well as office staff, are very prompt and genuine. The location is great too. Close to the The Woodlands and Hardy for my commute.

Great Community!
Park at Northgate is a great place to live! I have to relocate to another state and dread looking for a comparable place. The community is clean and quiet and the apartments have a pleasing and attractive interior with plenty of light. No worries about irresponsible pet owners and the neighbors that I have met have been quiet and respectful. If you want to party, go somewhere else. Management and maintenance have been very helpful and responsive and I honestly have no complaints.

One month review
The apartment complex is a very quite and peaceful place. If you are looking at some croud and house parties, this palce isnt for you, parking is aplenty and lot of spaces available, most of the residents are professionals so everything is quite. No parties or young crouds raving about. Pool area is nice not too big. Location of the complex is such that its about 2 miles from the shopping areas. Landscaping is well maintained and maintainence is good. in a nutshell the place is for single working professionals or families who would like he quiteness and peacefulness.

i LoVe, LoVe, LoVe It HeRe!!!!
I have lived in the complex for 1 year now and let me tell you it has been such an awesome experience. I am a single girl and safety is always a concern for me, but I totally feel as at home. The staff is absolutely wonderful and show sincere concern if you ever approach them with a problem. The grounds are beautiful with picnic areas, gazebo, putting green and a volleyball area also the pool are is amazing. I am very sad that I cannot renew my lease this year due to roommate issues. But I do recommend this complex 110% so if you are apartment hunting look no further cause The Park at Northgate should be your only stop.

Awesome with a hint of crap
The Park at Northgate is a great apartment complex (probably less than 5 yrs old). It's location is ideally located near I-45, but within a residential district. The pool is awesome and maintenance took care of a couple issues I mentioned on the Initial Condition Report card two days after I filed it. Inside the apartment you'll find the build quality to be quite nice. The carpets are soft and the walls are textured nicely with crown molding in the main living area. Unfortunately, they WILL NOT let you prorate your last month. I, for one, do not understand this, since I'm only in Houston ~3 months and I have to pay from mid March through the end of June, despite the fact that I'm moving out in mid June. The staff seems really nice and helpful at first. However, as soon as you stir up the dirt about prorating that last month, things can get hairy. If you plan on leaving at the end of the month anyway, I highly recommend this place.

Awesome place to live!!!
I moved here in July '04 and I still love it. This is like no other complex that I have lived in before, if you are looking for somewhere in the area look no further. The buildings are only 2 story and very sound proof, I hardly ever hear my neighbors. Another great thing is the upgraded carpet, not the builders grade almost all other complexes use. The pool is awesome with a beach entry and they also have a putting green. The staff is very friendly and helpful and they really work hard putting on complex events.
