This is a great place to live with a lot of friendly people. The amenities available are great, especially the pool and the small dog park at the back of the property. The whole staff is very friendly and the maintenance staff is very prompt in fixing any issues. Jorge, I believe one of the maintenance managers, lives on site and even came to fix something on New Year's Day. The only con I have found is that management recently told us they would start charging $5 a night for visitor passes. Other than that, this is a great place! Also, most importantly, I never hear my neighbors!

I moved into this community in the late 90s; first into a 3-bedroom unit, and later into a 2-bedroom unit. Overall it has been a great experience - decent managers, excellent maintenance staff, nice neighbors. Good amount of living (and closet) space and excellent location. Also I feel safe in and around the community.

The apartment is affordable and spacious for its price. It has good amenities and is relatively clean. Parking is free and there are always plentiful spaces. The location is good, with a bus line right in front and Metro down the street. I've had no major maintenance issues or any infestations.

I moved into the property in 1996 when the rent was $600 for an efficiency - now it is $1300 for the same apartment. There has been a lot of renovation to the basic structure of the complex including increased number of parking spaces, elevator repair, landscaping including a dog park, manager's office and the entrance, the foray and the mailroom. In my personal space, I've had my place painted and the AC/heat unit has undergone several repairs.

It's a decent place to live. Everything is walking distance so if you don't have a car, I would highly recommend living here. The walls are thick so you can't hear your neighbors. The only time you can hear them is when you are out in the hallways. The apartment common areas and landscape areas are very well kept. But I hate the fact that we don't have central air. It makes it difficult when the weather has sporadic changes.

My experience was delightful in the beginning. The staff at the time knew my name and addressed me by it. The staff has changed and I do not get the same warm vibe. The decor around the property is new and modern. That, in itself, is a good sign. Everyday management lays out a beverage relevant to the season and offers hot drinks with a Keurig. The hallways are barren, and the lighting gives off a hotel vibe but the absence of decorations, which I assume is because they do not want residents running into them when moving furniture, makes the hallways feel sterile. Landscaping is well maintained and the parking lots are cleaned of trash on a daily basis. You will find out, as your step through some puddles in the elevator should you need to take it, that the apartment complex accepts pets. I do not fault complex, but understand this is something you are likely to encounter if you frequent the elevator. The property is well lit and safety does not feel like an issue at all. All entrances require a fob/electronic key for entrance. Walkability is a bit of an issue. The property is adjacent to a condo, across the street from the apartment complex, and across the street from the Eden Center, but residents from all those places must walk to the stop light at the end of the street to find a cross walk. I am not particularly concerned about this, but others who are are forewarned. Interior of the apartment is modern and well maintained. The carpet of the apartment I am did not feel sticky when I arrived, nor do any of the appliances look worn or used. Bikes lanes are available and the street is well lit at night for its use. Maintenance: The apartment common areas are well maintained. I see maintenance and custodial staff cleaning it every day and I am grateful at their thoroughness and thoughtfulness. I'm on the fifth floor and whenever a maintenance member sees me coming to the elevator, they call it for me. It is a smaller gesture that goes along way. I see the custodial team clean the gym and the laundry room whenever I am in there. They must be there about daily because I have never had a bad experience in those places. I am also appreciative of them because some of the neighbors in the buildings are jerks who let their dogs urinate on the elevators or leave their trash in the trash room, 6 inches from the trash shoot or 3 feet from the trash room. I appreciate the custodial staff's commitment to keeping everything clean when faced with such constant gestures of disrespect and disregard for community spaces. My service requests are frequently handled within two business days at the most. The management team was nice when I moved in. The staff I interacted with knew me by name. Now that there has been some turn around, I do not get the same treatment and they often give off a tone of icy professionalism rather than a welcoming warmth. Often, staff is slow to respond to my inquiry and when I speak to them about a concern, they do not appear to have communicated that concern amidst themselves. I have made inquiries about some issues or concerns via email and would not receive a response for the next week. I would call to follow up and that person would discuss the issue with me. I would then receive a follow up email, sometimes that day, or perhaps the day after, echoing the same information from whom I assume is another member of the team because I had just spoken about that very same issue with the person on the phone.

The apartment is a great value. The common areas are well kept, the staff is friendly, and the office is open late and on weekends to address all concerns. Whenever I have an maintenance issue, it is resolved by the next business day.

Bozzuto management is disorganized, incompetent and unprofessional. The building itself is in a good area but the way this building is run, it makes you wonder whether a precocious 11 year-old with a good lemonade stand could do better. I have experienced numerous different property management companies before, and this one is far and away the worst. They will assure you they will do something. And then not do it. They will assure you that they won't do something. And then they do it. You will point out a problem with the building. They will drag their feet to fix it. You will demonstrate that their methods are ineffectual. They will double down on them. Their employees will openly berate and disparage tenants without recourse. In fact, they will express concern that their employee would do such a thing, i.e. you are to blame. Perhaps there is no finer insult to hurl then highlight the pathetic logic they use to justify themselves as a well-run, well-oiled property management machine. If you point out the shortcomings they will insist that no one else has brought the issue to their attention. First off, I don't believe them. But second, even if that were true, the reasonable explanation is that the vast majority of tenants have seen how their pleas fall on deaf ears and realize that it is not worth the effort. In short, I would find housing elsewhere.

I came here looking for a 2 bedroom apartment. A girl showed me a decent apartment and told me that I could reserve it for $250 and that my check was NOT going to get process until I sign the lease. The girl who took my check in never called me for a follow up on my criminal background check or to tell me when I needed to come by the office to sign the lease. A week later I wento to the office to speak with her and she prepared my lease with my errors and I told her I was coming back another day because she was going to have to prepare a new lease with all the corrections and that was going to take some time. Again, she never called me to let me know if my new lease was ready for me to sign, so I got tired of waiting and I decided that I didn't want to move there anymore and called the office and informed them that I wanted my check back and that's when I found out that they processed my check 2 days later I gave it to them. I was mad because they promised me that they were NOT going to process my check until I SIGN my lease. Then, I was told I was going to get a refund between 30-40 days and it's been over two months already and I still haven't received my money back. I called the office many times and left multiple voice messages and no one cares to return my calls. When I finally was able to speak with the manager of the property she offered to find out the status of my refund and she later called to inform me that I was getting a $200 refund and NOT a $250 which is what I paid initially and that she had NO idea when I'll be getting my refund. Seriously??? This is the worst company by far. The staff lie to your face and if you're promise a refund, you'll never get it back. It'd been over two months and I'm still waiting for my refund. Do yourselves a fabor and DO NOT ever rent here.

it is a nice experience to live in Roosevelt towers. The management is very cooperative and maintenance staff is prompt. Location of the building is very ideal as the metro station and shopping centers are closeby. The maintenance staff is also quite courteous.

Overall very satisfied and happy. I chose Roosevelt because of the good location and rent. The building itself is old, but the apartment has been renovated with new paint, carpeting and appliances. The staff is great and neighbors are friendly.

It has been very good living in the Roosevelt Towers community. The improve my experience I'd strongly suggest the construction of a playground area, taking in account the number of tenants with kids living in there. As long as a particular area for dogs has been recently built a playground area should be the next.

This building is my first time living alone. The neighborly feel of the community is wonderful and welcoming - nearly everyone has a smile for a stranger, helps open a door and has a friendly word. It's a very friendly place to live. I'm done. t

We recently moved in and found out there were mouse running out from kitchen to living room. A few days later, I saw one neighbor were catching a little one in the hall way. I talked to some neighbors who most complained they found and used some ways to get them out. I have to say everything except this are wonderful in this building. The staff team is very helpful and friendly. I really hope they take it seriously. And too much fly.

During the weekends the office should be more responsive for incumbent residents. The lady there spends more of her time in dealing with potential residents. It is almost impossible during the weekends to get our packages. Also, when the front office is busy with potential residents the manager should be attentive for our needs. Finally, when the Room 3 - where my bin is located have the flood problem, my bin was emptied without my knowledge. Many of my items were missing including a new luggage.

I only moved in 2 months ago, but everything has been good so far. The only complaint that I have so far is that our shower water pressure is not optimal. I also wish that there was an easier way to recycle instead of having to go all the way down into the downstairs. Why is there no recycle options like there is a trash shoot on every floor?

Rent just keeps on increasing at horrendous rate even with no unit updating or renovations. No effort at all to retain and keep old time residents. Rent increase will be administered without negotiation and without fail at lease expiration.

The apartment has a great location and a amazing price! The community offers lots of great ammentities like a big pool, gym, and community room. The updated ktichens and bathrooms really make the place. The apartment is set back from the road, so little traffic noises.

Everything was fantastic until mice appeared in my apartment. Unfortunately, I am moving out for that reason. Also, I had referred two residents to the property, still I haven't received my referral check. This has been for 5 months now! In addition, I emailed and called corporate office and left a message in regards to mice issues, but I never got a response back. Very bad communication.
