My experience overall was good. The service I received was helpful and professional and the neighbors so far are very friendly. The lakes and geese brings a different aspect which is a good one but I do think the grounds can be a little better.

It is a beautiful community on the outside, but the inside of the apartments are not satisfactory for the amount of rent being paid. The kitchens and appliances need to be updated as they often cause a lot of problems, and tend to not work very well. Bugs (spiders, ants, worms) are a big problem. This is most likely because the front doors are not well insulated to the outside.

The office staff is very courteous. My paperwork was handled very professionally. I have had problems w my heating unit 5 times in 2 mths. Today I also had to place another svc call. 39 degrees outside when I arrived home this evening. Unit blowing cold air. The thermostat has been replaced and severa other parts of unit. Now it it is not working again. Please help w this issue. Thank u.

This apartment complex discriminates plain and simple. It just blows my mind that a mediocre complex won't allow people with a criminal background move in especially when its been 10+ years ago. I will be writing to all the local news channels to expose this illegal action

My only issues are the unwanted rats I've constantly seen inside my apartment and the silverfish bugs. This is a major issue that needs to be dealt with ASAP. Rent is too expensive to have to live in these conditions.

Need to do some updating inside apartments. For the price of rent the inside needs some work. Every year, the rent goes up, but no improvements are being made besides out, which is nice but the inside needs it to. Other then that its very nice out here.

The experience is great. The staff is wonderful very courteous and polite and always follows through on any request that i have made. Very quiet complex. Very well kept on the outside no trash around building which alleviates bugs and rodents.

Overprice and not advised that 45.00 would be added to my bill each month for Comcast and 7 dollars trash fees. I could have paid 1250 with all utilities in shockoe bottom with updates applancies. I was also shocked that MAA would ,charge 500 to transfer to a different unit.

My experience thus far has been great with the exception of the current maintenance issue. I recently had 2 issues on the same day. They fixed one, but not the other. The freezer continues to leak after it makes ice. It even began to leak shortly after the technician left my home.

The community is great. Everyone is respectful and mindful of noise and personal. The maintence staff is great fixed all my problems in one visit. The dog park is great my dog loves it. The area around the apartment is well kept and beautiful.

I love this apartment community. Management is very friendly. The grounds are well maintained. The ponds are a treat. The tennis courts are nice, and the pool is always refreshing. I enjoy living here.

My experience has been pretty good so far. There are a few issues I do have and that's with the trash compost. I wish there was one closer to my apartment and also there were a couple of nights I had trouble getting a closer parking space to my apartment. Someone parked in two spaces but fortunately someone was leaving and I was able to use that parking space and also I believe it's my neighbors that live below me that smokes, I can smell it in my bathroom, bedroom and closet but other than that everything has been great.

While Ashley Park isn't the worst place to live in the area, it also isn't the best. We lived there for about 1.5 years, due to unforeseen circumstances. The staff there was mediocre, and maintenance issues were not done in a timely fashion. The large dumpster was always filthy and there were, at times, large rodents living around the area. We could clearly smell the illegal drugs through the ventilation system from our neighbors next door. The apartment itself was not updated at all. All the appliances were at least 10-15 years. The 'fitness center' really isn't what you might think it would look like. The pool was recently remodeled and the grass was somewhat well-kept. Overall, you don't get much for the price you pay monthly, and I don't think I would recommend this place to anyone personally.

Very friendly service from the office team, they were helpful during the whole process. The apartments are nice and affordable, though not updated and the amenities are all extra. Located conveniently near the West End, Downtown, and Midlothian. Quiet complex with nice ponds and fitness center.

This community is very quiet and peaceful. The staff is pleasant and always available to assist me with questions. The grounds are well kept and anytime I need something replaced they are right on it. I have enjoyed living here and feel very comfortable in this complex.

My experience at the complex has good, however my concern is the parking spaces located directly in the front of the apt building. This can be a hazard in case of emergency or with new residents moving in or out. The staff has been nothing more than professionals. The workout facility needs a trash can and sanitation wipes for reseidents to clean the equipment after working out.

I am paying for pest control that has never been done at $10 per month since May 2015. I want to reimbursed $60 for that. I am paying an additional utility fee when I already pay for electric and water which is too high for a 1 bed room apt. Something is wrong.

What sold me on moving here to Ashley Apartments was the customer service at their office. I've also had to ask for maintenance 1 time since which was handled very quickly especially comparing to other places I've lived. It's also a safe community and has great amenities.

Office and maintenance staff are extremely professional and courteous. Complex is an enjoyable place to live, close to highways for convenient commuting. No breed restrictions for dogs, so it's a pit bull friendly apartment community!

It has been an ok experience so far. The model home, is REALLY a model home. And I got most of what I was looking for in an apartment. It feels safe, and is pretty well kept up outside (besides no grass for pets). I would say I am getting what I am paying for.
