I would tell my friends about this community. The unit that I am in is in a good location for me. It has new appliances and fresh carpet.The pond is great along with the ducks and geese.The only thing that I would ask is for parking decals.

The maintenance staff is incompetent. OFFICE STAFF IS AMAZING!!! I love the clubhouse, pool & view. I wouldn't recommend Ashley Park to anyone because of the age and condition of the unit and lack of care on the grounds.

Never had a single issue with either the office and management staff, or the maintenance staff. I'd say I've been a satisfied resident. Quiet neighborhood for the most part, friendly neighbors, very close to essentially everywhere I'd need to go for whatever reason. Has definitely worked out for me all nearly three years I've been here.

Way overpriced. You do not get what you pay for at all. Maintenance isn't good at fixing anything complex like appliances. Their requirement of a 60 day notice and use of a buyout instead of a reletting fee to leave is somewhat unethical. Geese may keep you up at literally all hours or wake you up in the middle of the night. Their HVAC systems are horrible and won't keep your warm once the temperatures are in the 40's or cool once the temperatures are in the 90's. Whoever did the interior work didn't know what a level, measuring tape, or paint tape were. Things have also fallen apart several times. I mean like faucets literally breaking off. The staff spends all of the money on the exterior, but the interior is crap. You'll also still hear gun shots and domestic disturbances here.

My experience is that no one comes out to clean the buildings, Steps been dirty since I moved in 2 years ago.. Piece of wood still laying in the hallway since repairs has been over 6 months, No one removed the wood. Spider webs over light fixture and stair rails never clean. No up keep of the outside of the apartments.

Ashley Park is a great place to live. The location is convenient and close to many different things. The apartment complex is well maintained and generally quite. The value is average for the location.

The community is great and minutes away from downtown Richmond. The staff is very professional and friendly. The community is clean and kept up nicely. The noise level can be a bit loud times with neighbors that live on the upper floors.

There are a couple items Colonial Properties did that I wish MMA would also do. The first is they maintained the pond much better then MMA. There was never algea showing more then one week. The second is the bill for water. It was always $7.00 a month when Colonial had it. When I moved in the grass out back was as nice and maintained like what is in front of the office from my unit to the end going toward Bld 9. Now it's nothing but weeds.

Since moving here in 2017, my experience has been better than I expected. I spent a lot of time searching for the right apartment that fit my budget but also pleased me aesthetically. Since I've been here I haven't had any issue at all. The maintenance team responds very quickly, usually within 24 hours. The office staff is friendly and personable. I also love that there is no breed restriction on pets.

I like the fact that you are centrally located and do not discriminate against dog breeds. However, the spider webs in windows, non working equipment in gym, non working trash compactor, and pot holes make you question why the rent is so high and all the additional fees exist.

Additional fees are high for the price point of this apartment complex. Other complexes offer more amenities and utilities at a lower price point. The other issue is that Comcast is a bulk providor here, but that the contract is limited according to the Comcast representative I spoke with in adjusting/upgrading my plan. Contract between community and Comcast needs to be updated and more options should be provided.

Property is kept well. The only complaint is the influx of Canadian Geese. The neighbors are quiet and polite. They try to have activities in the Club house to promote a sense of community. The pool is kept up well.

Freindly staff and quick response from maintenance staff. The windows are drafty and the walls are thin. I can here my neighbor s getting in and out of the car over the volume of my television. I like club house however there are limited parking spaces near my building making grocery trips difficult.

I wouldn't pick this apartment ever again. It's not what it's worth. I only had a few choices to move into and they take you for every dollar you have. Because of the type of dog I had, I had to pay 2 different types of pet fees just to keep him here. I'm ready to leave!

It has been a wonderful experience at Ashley park. Staff are low key but very helpful for anything that's needed. Maintenance comes very quickly for problems. Very quiet for the most part also. Close to highway for morning commute. I would recommend this community to others!

Moving into Ashley Park Apartments, from the very beginning was a pleasant experience. The leasing staff was very professional and hospitable. Good at collecting rent and passing out packages. Late notifications, high utilities/fees... No real amenities... Placement of tenants show they don't care about the residents...why would you place a family of four with young children above someone who is single....Yet, we both pay the same amount for our water bill?!?

The personal in the rental office is very nice and had really good communication during the process before move in. The maintenance is very good and so far I'm very happy with the place. The location is very convenient because it has quick access to several locations.
