Be Careful renting here! They will nickel and dime you
So I was renting here from May 2023 to End of January 2024. I moved out on Feb. 7 so I would not have to pay an additional early out fees. However, after the move out they still billed me for a fee from Jan 31 to Feb 7. They said the billing is on first of the month. Okay, fair enough I got that. Then next I was getting utility bills, ok paid those, Here it is March 25 and now I'm getting billed again. They found a way to keep my $300 deposit and charge me an addition $39 for "cleaning supplies" see attached. These supplies look like they were delived in August of 2023 so how are they billing me for supplies when I wasn't even moved out yet? On top of that I hired a cleaning company to thoroughly clean the apartment when I left. It's totally outrageous! I actually heard that they do this kind of thing before I moved in. I was reading comments from previous renters. I will pay their $39 to be done with them, but this company is SUPER CORPORATE. So beware before you rent!

Be careful here now, currently, if you are an animal lover. My community posts about an old cat that has been fed here for the last 9 years that is being threatened by a new maintenance team . For me the cat has to be grandfathered in to move there. I am sure he was dumped originally, not his fault. Plus I have cats!!

I lived at Lexington Heights for almost a year and it was a great stay. The staff was super friendly and inviting every time I went into the leasing office and the apartments were very clean and modern. Lexington Heights exceeded my expectations!

LDR: Unresponsive, lazy management. Decent apartment homes in a decent location but don't expect responses to any concerns or issues you have. 1) The day I moved in (late September 2019) I informed Jill at the leasing office that the dryer vents were caked in lint and needed to be cleaned immediately as they are a fire hazard. This has not been done as of 01/2020. 2) Parking is OUT OF CONTROL. People park in fire lanes, in handicap spots, in the middle of the driveway (pictures attached). I have reached out to management multiple times and only received a response after my third request for some sort of acknowledgement. They said they know it's an issue and that they will try to do more to combat it. This was a few weeks ago and nothing has changed. 3) They pride themselves on the "gated community" that they offer. However, the gates have been broken since before I moved in. There is also another exit/entrance that they have blocked off by a small rope. Super secure..... 4) The dog park they say they have is a small gated area with wood chips that is never cleaned up and has graffiti all over the metal gates. 5) The home is nice for the most part, with the exception that doors fall off the hinges even after maintenance puts them back on, the stovetop only works 50% of the time and my request for testing of potential black mold was met with "wipe it up." With how many apartments there are in the area, you're sure to find one better than Lexington Heights. Don't let them fool you like they fooled me.

Do not rent here!!!!! This apartment complex is a joke. When I first moved in, my apartment was covered in spiders and grasshoppers and it took them 4 weeks to take care of it. The apartment was filthy when I moved in. The clothes washer water does not get hot and I am repeatedly told it isn't supposed to. Really? That's why there is a hot setting? The only way to get responses on service requests is by threatening with bad reviews. 2 weeks ago, I put in a request for the outlets on both sides of my stove. I keep getting lied to and told they have come and serviced. They haven't done anything. My disposal doesn't work and has stunk up my apartment and now my closet fell and no one has made it to my apartment to fix anything DO NOT try and have any one to come visit. There is no parking and even if there was, you have to register your guests license plates and you can only have a guest for up to 72 hours a month. They don't tell you this until after lease signing. I will be contacting the BBB and the owners as this place is a rip off (I am paying 1750 a month for a piece of crap). Do not be fooled!!!!

I moved in last year and they have had several management changes since I moved here. I must say the current manager has been the nicest and most helpful out of all the previous ones. I think her name is Lindsey, she seems to actually care about us. Parking has been the biggest issue here, but since she started she has been trying to fix it. My friends who live at other complexes say they have no parking too so i guess the problem isnt just here. The maintenance guy Doug is great and is so nice and always gets stuff fixed. I am personally happy with my apartment, it's very cute and they have lots of amenities. I would recommend this place.

Excellent neighborhood. Good place for families. There is a playground on premises, indoor gym and basketball court. Not too noisy. Neighbors keep to themselves. I would recommend this place to my friends and family.

Went to see these apartments for a friend of mine and LOVED THEM!! Met with Chris and Chelsea and they went above and beyond to help my friend and family be able to move in the apt of their dreams! There was clear communication all around and everyone was on the same page. Hard to do when I'm not the one actually going to be living there but because I'm helping my friend with everything, they've kept me in the loop. The 3 bed I saw was HUGE and REALLY CHEAP!! I left and came back 20 min later with a deposit! The grounds are beautifully kept and the amenities are awesome! THERE'S A FULL SIZE, INDOOR BASKETBALL COURT!! All in all, definitely would recommend this place to More friends!

I hate this place. The only reason I don't leave is because I like abuse. Cersai Lannister seeking the iron throne would be a greater joy than all of their staff combined. Don't live here if you like your privacy they're always in your apt for no reason.

I love the space I live in! It is perfect for just myself and located close to my work. The area also has good restaurants near by plus great shopping like Target and Wal Mart and the mall is only about 10 mins away. During the summertime I also love that I can hang out by the pool that the property keeps very clean. Not to mention the staff at Lexington Heights are very friendly and attentive to my living needs. Anytime I have any problems with my place they try to get the problem resolved for me as quickly as possible. Oh and the common area is a great place to host parties too!

Just moved in and love my apartment! Move in was super easy and the staff are really friendly and helpful. I commute to Federal Way everyday and the property is only about 10 minutes to I5 which is perfect for me. So far I have had a great experience!

I have lived at Lexington going on three years and I love it! The property is beautiful, the staff does a great job at maintaining the property. The ladies in the office are all so friendly and I love the monthly get togethers they throw in the office. The ice cream social was my favorite!!! Overall this place is great!

This complex is laid out in a way that makes it look attractive and has the appearance of a nice safe place to live; Don't Do it! The security gates are not operational most of the time; people entering behind you don't have to enter access codes to get it in, they just have to follow you in. The gates stay open until no other cars enter. I have had my car and my friend's car broken into at night within the last year and a half, and my apartment twice within the last 6 months. Don't do it! Run! The management staff is nonchalant about safety and security, not to mention there lack of customer service. There has been a high turnover of residency in the last 2 years. Not the same environment 4-6 years ago. If is so safe, why do they have extra security patrol service every night? It still does not keep the bad guys out! Don't do it! Secondly, why has the referral fee gone from $150, to $250, to $400? They are desperate for new residents. The walls are thin, you hear your neighbors talking and using the restroom. Don't do it! Parking is terrible - they allow people to park in the fire lanes at night. You pay too much for rent and covered parking to deal with such mess. Don't do it! It's not worth it! Don't let the looks fool you! PS - the equipment in the fitness center stays broken most of the time and strangers get into the complex and swim and play basketball in the gym which over crowds the facilities. If they could get control of safety and security, it would be a nice, convenient place to live. But as of now, I am out of there and Don't You Do It!

Hours posted on their website are wrong. Extremely rude service when asking about problems regarding complex. Gated community but half the time I've lived here gates been broken opening and closing on its own even had a friends car stolen from inside complex. Groups of kids sneaking around I am in a back corner and they hide from security by my back door or sneak down the front stair wells to use drugs and leave trash scattered around. Roomate paid rent a couple days late once so now we have to pay with money orders only, policy says it can happen twice but they said the person who lived in my apt over 2 years ago that I've never met counted as one of them. Parking is a joke after about midnight the fire lanes and handicap parking are about half full since there aren't enough stalls. Ants will be a problem at least a few times a year regardless of how clean you keep your unit. Pool will fill up quickly on hot days from all the other complexs in the area.

If you have a friend over (visiting) bringing their pet the office will automatically charge you a $25 pet fee per Jessica. Now who in their sick mind has this much time to investigate. Let's be real. I cannot wait till my contract expires so I could move the hell out of here I'm so tired with the staff there's a non ending Story with them. Staff is very rude never Smiles never says a hello is the same b******* for the past 3 years. Complaining to corporate they don't do s*** so please stay the way and out of here. For the money you pay here, your better off elsewhere!!!

This is a great place to live. My family and I were very happy staying there. Both property managers were very attentive to our requests. Maintenance was also good. We had to leave due to our jobs, we would have loved to stay longer. I definitely would recommend this place, its safe and close to everything!

I absolutely love living here. I am a resident since 2015. I cant believe its been 2 years already! Yes there has been a lot of new faces in the office but they have all been very friendly, respectful and professional which is all I can ask for as a resident! One time, I wasnt able to come home in time to pick up a package so they offered to leave it in my home for me. They go above and beyond, its the little things that really matter. The property looks spotless every time I come home and leave which is so nice. Maintenance does all my work orders in a timely manner. Paying rent online is so easy. Living here has been very peaceful, I have no complaints!

I had a 12 month lease here and have no intentions to come back. Noise: If you are in the upper levels, you won't have an issue, but if you are on the bottom floor, you will hear everything, Also landscapers are loud, and start whenever they want. Grounds: Overall, the place looks nice, and features nice amenities, but you do have to pay for them if you want to enjoy any of them. Safety: Despite looking like a safe area, there are frequent break ins and no security cameras, Also, there isn't enough parking so cars are strewn about the place late at night. You can get reserved parking, but it will run you another $60 a month. Also if you park in the fire lane(which you will have no choice to now and again), you will wake up to a $60 ticket if you don't move your vehicle before 8AM. maintenance: Requests require 3 to 10 days, and stuff here breaks frequently. Staff: As you'll notice from a majority of reviews, the office staff are rude, and apologize for nothing. The outside staff on the other hand are nice, and considerate. Overall, Lexington heights is an overpriced slum in my opinion. It looks nice, but it's really expensive, the place nickles and dimes you at every turn, and even when you move out, they'll still be charging you for one technicality after another. Please don't rent here.

DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!! Lexington Heights is the WORST place I have ever rented with! I moved out about 5 months ago and never received information about my deposit so I called for it and they said I would be receiving a chunk of it back. It's been 5 months never received that chunk or paperwork with information on what they used MY deposit for when we moved. Again 5 'months later saying we owe them 1500$ for a cockroach problem they have found FIVE MONTHS after we left. They're a profit making scamming company who truly don't care about. I advise no one lives here. Plus their appliances all break down and fall apart.

We have been here since 2010 and our lease will be up for renewal next month. As a renter, I've always kept myself informed when looking for a new home by reading fellow renters reviews. Thus, while I am in the process of making a decision to renew or not renew, I thought I would take the opportunity to post my own review in light that others might find it helpful. When i first moved here, my leasing agent, Alma, was absolutely amazing! She was helpful, professional, great customer service and very caring. When Alma left, her replacement was awful! So awful that I almost move out. Then they hired Miss Huong Phung, I swear she was Alma's twin sister. In fact, she was so good that she was promoted.... so here comes another replacement! Then a new team was introduced. They are rude, not helpful not to mention the rent kept going up. Now, mind you, I wouldn't mind paying high rent if it was worth it ... But it is not! The staff is terrible. Parking is now becoming a huge problem. If you didn't have a paid parking spot then you'll need to come home early or you will not have a parking spot. Walls are thin, maintenance takes forever. Cars are parked every where! Blocking people in. I had a parking warning in bright neon sticker stuck on my car just because I had it under a cover due to a leak. No warning. No communication whatsoever but yet they allowed people parked on the "no parking" and fire lane spots! Wait! Did I also mentio me that there were other cars with covers? Not a good way to treat long term resident! While I like my unit, and don't mind the thin walls.... the staff sucks!

We don't like the major problem with parking or rather the lack of parking spaces. It has really gotten out of hand. The location for us to town and work and the things we do is good. Safety regarding shrubs, etc is great. Multiple cars getting broken into is not good. In regards to noise, I don't think people realize how much their voices are heard from the parking lot sidewalks, especially during the summer.

It's become one of the unsafest places to live in Renton. Thefts and brake ins accur every week here. The office doesn't do ---- about it. The new stuff are very rude and manipulative they won't listen to anything you want to say. Residence here asking for security cameras at the security gate was told due to corporate policy they cannot install this then soon after they installed cameras in there office... Mail boxes are being broken into and the office won't do ---- about it. They get their work orders mixed with other residents work orders. And if you complain about it they have an attitude , never says sorry it was a error or a mistake. They always act that there are the victims. Calling corporate and complaining to corporate won't do any good , I was told the new staff are still in training ...I told corporate the new staff does not need training to talk professional. The stuff and corporate are unprofessional and doesn't take things at all seriously. If you want to move here I would advise you not. One reason being , it has become VERY unsafe here and the staff are always the victims.
