It is a pleasant neighborhood. Shops and Cafes are all in walking distance. I feel very safe. The only negative feedback- there is no guest parking available. No possibility to have guests stay over night.

One can enter building one without needing to pass ANY identity check. One simply enters by way of the delivery elevator. One can go to any floor in building one. NO SECURITY AT ALL! Very frightening and upsetting.

Peter Chen is amazing!

Peter helped me fix my smoke detector and my custom touch less flushing system! This was all done while I was at work and he left my apartment looking just as clean as it was when I left for work this morning!! He even left me some extra batteries for future use. 10/10 :)

Without a doubt One Paseo is the best apartment complex in Carmel Valley. The staff at One Paseo in particular Dan Bulthuis and Witney Weiss are extremely helpful in addressing your needs as a resident of the community.

Too expensive to have used builders’ grade material that is deteriorating within the apartment and giving it a shabby feel. Very poor quality bathroom materials in the bathroom such as a plastic shower stall like one might find in a trailer park. Shower frame is cheap, flimsy metal that is molding and deteriorating. Poor craftsman and poor quality materials give everything a cheap, tired, worn out feel.

One Paseo has cleaning teams working every day. Everyone is friendly in the community and very welcoming. The team down in the leasing office and resident services have always been so helpful and eager to solve your issues. One of the many perks of one Paseo is how dog friendly the community is. My dog and I have made many lifelong friends just downstairs at the dog park. Would highly recommend!

Great Place to Live

Luxury apartments are not new to us. Greystar’s One Paseo property have performed what we expect from luxury apartment living. Starting from finding our unit, the leasing office team are friendly and helpful. Raegan is awesome. She assisted us with all the things we need during the application process and guided us through on our move-in day. The maintenance team is great and is very responsive to our request:s. Santiago was the one who helped us. He is very courteous and fix the problem quickly. There is only one bad experience we encountered so far. The tenants who live right below us are very confrontational. The were bothering us (literally ringing our doorbell) and complaining things that are normal in a multi family apartment building. They complained when our movers were delivering our stuff saying we are loud (of course there willl be heavy footsteps) and they wrongfully called us out for something we did not do. We are just not used to these type of neighbors. Normally, things are sorted out through resident services not the direct confrontation approach. I hope Greystar has a procedure in handling this type of situation.

Overall the location is nice, walkable to a lot of places. The complex it self is very hit or miss, some of the common spaces are really nice, which others are pretty warn down (pool area furniture), a lot of car break-ins, high turn over in the leasing office and poor management.

I absolutely love living at One Paseo!! I have lived here for 18 months and have had so many positive experiences! I have made great friends with fellow residents and really enjoy using the beautiful amenities. I appreciate the constant efforts to improve the resident experience. The office personnel is responsive and professional. I also love being able to walk to such wonderful stores and restaurants. My 20 year old daughter loves it too!

Major water issues/Terrible experience

To anyone who is considering signing a lease for an apartment at One Paseo Living… beware of the many maintenance/pest control issues. I have rented an apartment here for a year now and during this time there have been prolonged maintenance issues affecting the water system. This has included multiple days (at least 10 since the start of the 2022 calendar year) when the water system has been shut off for the entire day. This means no toilets, sinks, showers, and anything else supported by water. There is also apparently no end in sight to fixing this issue. One Paseo Living also suffers from significant pest control issues, with residents having to hire their own pest control companies to address the massive ant, spider and mosquito infestations that impact the apartments. Overall it is not worth paying $3,000 + a month to deal with these terrible issues.

As many other reviewers have noted in reviews on this and other platforms, maintenance is extremely slow (weeks to months for facilities to be repaired) and does not communicate progress or estimated completion times. Despite best efforts from polite and hardworking housekeeping staff, grounds are commonly dirty due to dog poop, spills, vandalism etc. from disrespectful tenants. Management routinely says they take issues seriously, but if tangible action has been taken (none appears to have been), it hasn't produced any results. Note several reviews below that are wildly positive yet suspiciously vague about the maintenance staff that appear to hvae been posted to "balance" critical reviews.

Not only is One Paseo in a great location and beautifully kept BUT the community is amazing, the staff are helpful and friendly and it is safe. I have a 1 year old that is able to walk around/play and I have the satisfaction of knowing he is growing up in a safe and friendly environment. Thank you One Paseo and team!
