When I moved in everything was great then my parking spot was moved farther so it hard for me and my children to bring in groceries. Then I was told I cant put lights on my patio, cant have a placemat in front of my door, no where for visitors to park. Weird to change rules one year after moving in.

The floors/ceilings are thin. There needs to be better acoustic barrier for such a premium priced property. I can hear my neighbor upstairs walking barefoot, their dog running, vacuuming, and the appliances during operation! There needs to be more enforcement of a smoke and vape free environment. I see people smoking off their balcony/patio, in front of the fireplaces, while grilling, and on the staircase. I have smelled weed as the elevator doors open. Most complexes tout they are smoke free. We chose One Paseo because its new and we thought the rule would be strictly enforced in order to protect the new investment. Disappointingly, it has not been our experience. Along the lines of enforcement, pet owners are not picking up after their dogs. I have picked up dog poop near the staircase multiple times. This is on carpeted hallway! I didnt want it to be tracked up and down the hall and into my apartment. Its disgusting enough that theres poop and urine in the open common areas but in the interior hallway, its just that much more egregious. If the management allows pets, there needs to be better enforcement so that everyone can enjoy the common spaces and residents do not have to dodge excrements.

Its such a terrible community. From day one things have been broken that havent been fixed. It takes over a month for them to come do a maintenance request. Theres dogs barking non stop everywhere. They refuse to give you a dedicated phone number to security which is really dangerous. The zen pool also known on some signs as the serenity pool consists of people going there with their kids screaming all day or their dogs swimming in the pool and barking. Worst place I have ever lived.

I liked it the first time I saw it, I loved it from the first day I was in. Very comfortable inside the apartment, very enjoyable the atmosphere and the amenities. It is easy to get access to everything inside the village and the near shopping area. You are also very close to Route 5 to commute everywhere and 5 minutes from Del Mar....

Its not a luxury experience and I question whether the cost of rent is worth it on a regular basis. My car has been broken into four times. The Manager and Assistant Manager are rarely helpful. There are more rules than there is willingness to be helpful.

What a great place to live and play?! The staff, security and maintenance are all very friendly and helpful. The common areas are constantly being cleaned and practicing social distancing and other Covid-19 recommendations. I highly recommend One Paseo!

Apartments are very small. The units are very dark. Tiny bedrooms with no natural light. The window doesn't open except for bottom section for minimal air allowed in. The bathroom is very dark. I had to add 2 lighted mirrors. I asked for more canned lights in the bathroom but was denied. Units around pool are very loud with screaming children and no security around pool to quiet them. Lots of guest at pool with no monitoring by management.

My overall experience has been a mix. The second day of myself living at one paseo, I received a complaint about having candles lit. I was told that I was to put them out as they violate the oder rule. Which is a little excessive I feel. The idea that I use the candles as an element of tranquility and peace. To have someone come up and say to me to put them out because they violate a rule feels excessive. I have overall liked the location and some of the feels of One Paseo. Iam deciding between just staying at One Paseo even though my washing machine still hasnt been fixed. Alas I struggle to find faith with the maintenance and staff as when I ask for an ETA the response is usually: we are quite backed up so I cant provide one for you at this moment. Thats not the professional response that one would expect after paying $2900 a month. What should have been said is well get right on it or providing me an eta of when my washer will be fixed.

Horrible noise, not just the neighbors but the delivery trucks and on-going construction making noise at 5am. We have security that is more concerned with where your dog pee's in dirt/landscape then the number of car break-ins we have had. Management team is nice and they try, but are to inexperienced to be running a "luxury" complex with rents this high. Service requests can take weeks to get a reply and emails to management on average take 9 days to get back to you. They spend more time trying to make the property look good to prospects than taking care of the issues for those who actually live there actively paying rent.

I feel that One Paseo is an absolutely beautiful place! The attention to the little details and design are greatly appreciated by us. The staff are very friendly and helpful and a pleasure to be around and work with. Since this is still a fairly new development and all the unexpected things that we all were confronted with this last year, I feel everyone is doing their best to work out any kinks and make improvements as needed! We are really looking forward to the bigger dog area!!!! I have no complaints but will share openly any concerns combined with possible solutions that make life here at One Paseo better for residents and staff. It is an absolutely beautiful community and we all contribute to the betterment of it together as areas for improvement come to our awareness. The staff works very hard at One Paseo to try to please everyone and keep the place in good condition. There are renters that abuse the community drinking at the pool and being loud and it can be a party at times. Im not sure how do you strike a balance between young people and old people. Between respecting the rights of others and people having a good time. I thought I was living at upscale apartments but at times its like a frat party at San Diego State. Im not sure who is the target group Graystar wants.

While the community is beautiful, the building of OnePaseo was rushed and foundational issues were overlooked, causing the shoddy craftsmanship to show after just a year here. The rent is ridiculously overpriced, considering all the amenities that were advertised were closed for 12 months during the pandemic. Management did not handle the shutdowns well and is now handling the reopening of amenities poorly as well. It appears management cares more about getting new people in than their current tenants. As beautiful as it looks in the marketing photos, this complex is much more about looking good than actual substance or value. For your money, I suggest living somewhere else.

Not able to use any amenities which was a major factor when signing our initial lease. There was no compensation for rent. Instead money was used to power wash a garage which is only a year old and re-sealing pavement. That seems backwards.

One word: EXCELLENT. I feel very safe. The grounds are kept impeccably clean. The staff is so friendly and helpful. I plan to stay for a longer period and I am happy that I found this place. You cant beat the close proximity to the shopping Centre, the beach and everything.
