This is a wonderful place in everything. But I have no way to enjoy it. Almost every Friday night, all Saturday and Sunday, we have to think about where to go away, because there will most likely be noise - either a party at the neighbor's upstairs (with a large number of guests, they can be heard even when they try not to make noise), or someone will lead guests to the courtyard under the windows, or music and dancing on the roof. But we return home after sunset, and the noise does not subside until midnight. In our past complex, there were strict rules, administration asked people not to even step on the floor with their whole feet because this could interfere with neighbors. These demands seemed absurd to me. But now I cannot calmly rest at home on the weekend, because of the issue of noise, the number of invited guests is not controlled in any way. Many people just use the complex as a place for parties. Here everything is very conveniently arranged for this and there is no control. Renting here is very much like living in a student hostel.

Terrible management for help and maintenance . It is a relatively new apartment so it is understandable that no everything is set up yet. But they should prioritize residents requests that are submitted and relatively urgent

Long story short, I was told at move in I can park in visitor spaces. I have been doing this since April 2021. I called emergency maintenance at 6:00am because the garage gates were malfunctioning and not allowing me to exit. The person said they would be there as soon as 8:00am. This is not an acceptable time frame for what is considered to be an emergency. What makes me the most angry is the lack of compassion from the property manager. Instead of working with me or showing any sign of wanting to make this right; she placed blame and basically said I dont read her multiple emails telling residents not to park there. It seems like your staff is confused and should relay information better. Additionally, she could have solved this with a simple good will gesture and reimbursed my uber, but its more important for her to remain stubborn and right. Im hopeful that the Divisional will make this right and use this as a training opportunity for her team in how to deescalate the situation and keep long term customers happy. Very disappointed in the leadership of the PM here.

The overall move-in experience was great. The maintenance is a joke though. I have been living without an AC for 4 days now. They charge us for these amenities and don't turn up on time to get things fixed. Extremely dissatisfied.

management is terribly run. assistant and main manager are incredibly rude. have talked to just a few of my neighbors and they agree, even the people who come to setup wifi here all have complaints about management. ridiculous for the price we pay for these units.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Lynhaven apartment homes thus far. Nice clean and well kept buildings. They request everyone be accountable and responsible for keeping the area clean as well. Awesome place to live.

The place is nice and the team is great! It made my move easy and things were easy to adapt. It feels like home already. There is always something going on like food trucks, bbq, cookies, which brings the community together.

Lynhaven is located within walkable distance from Santana Row, an entertainment center here in San Jose. You do have to cross a highway to get there and there are homeless setting their tent near the highway. The property itself is relatively new, and I like the amenities offered here e.g. pools, gym, rooftop, etc. The maintenance has been an issue because there is no emergency number to call other then leasing offices phone number. My fridge had issues since day 1 but it hasnt been fixed 2 weeks after my move-in.

We really love the community as this was a whole new place we moved in ( first experience ever)! We also enjoy the pool and spa to have fun and relax at the same time! Plus, weekly truck food provides options for dining without driving or cooking on our own!

It is a great experience living here as it's a whole new community when my partner and I first moved in last year! We enjoy being a resident here and will highly recommend any of our friends who is interested in looking for a great community to live.

Great location, brand new building and good quality appliances n interiors. Just moved in 3 months ago and so far everything is great. Hoping to have the retail section opened up in the Josie building soon which is just downstairs from my apartment!

Great staff service, nice amenities, very modern abs clean, very quiet, great appliances. The pool area and roof top bbq are lovely, clean, and easily accessible. There is plenty of parking. Staff is very responsive to concerns. There are great community events such as bbqs, free outdoor yoga, and at least weekly food trucks.

I have an extensive apartment search in the San Jose area after accepting an employment offer in the area. I also explored other options, such as home rental and room/share, but concluded I needed my own place. I had numerous conversations with the Lynhaven staff. All were extremely professional, as well as helpful and patient with me as I hod a host of questions prior to choosing Lynhaven as my new home! Kudos to everyone on staff and thank you for warm welcome to a great new home! Five stars!!

Lynhaven is fantastic value for the money. They had the poor fortune of opening during the pandemic and are offering big discounts to move in. Below are my impressions after living here a week. The good: * The space feels generous. Ceilings are high, bathrooms are big, toilet is large, hallways are spacious, parking is ample. Even though my place is just nominally ~700 sq ft, it feels great. (This might change after I get furniture - we'll see. Will also see how spacious it feels once the building is full.) * Everything is brand new! Gym is full of new equipment, pool lounge furniture is clean rather than gross, washers have no mildew, paint is pristine. Really refreshing and rare! * The building has fiber internet and ethernet ports throughout the apartment. Obviously this should be table stakes, but a lot of older places don't, so I will publicly appreciate it here. It's nice to be back on fiber-powered ethernet! * I really appreciate that the 13-month lease auto converts to month-to-month at the end - this makes it so much easier to rent here without having to pre-plan whether I'll get a new job or married or whatever in the next 12 months. Again, should be table stakes, but a lot of places don't do this, so I want to praise Lynhaven here. Apartment design flaws (floorplan 1.1, but may apply to others): * One disastrous apartment design flaw is that they've put frontload washers in the entry closet of the apartment. As you know, frontload washers are supposed to be kept with their door open to minimize the growth of mildew. So when you put them in a closet, this means the closet door needs to stay open. And when that closet is the entry closet, it's real awkward to keep it permanently open. * Another design downside is that they cheaped out on the countertops - I'm not sure what the material is, but it's already stained with turmeric after cooking just once. Have seen other complaints, so I know it's not just me. * The bathroom has the towel rack on the far wall from the shower. There are no other racks or hooks, even, though they would have been easy to install. So drying off requires stepping into the cold air and dripping across the entire bathroom's worth of cold tile just to grab a towel. And there's no place for a second towel if you have company. * Kitchen sink is relatively small & dinky (maybe 18 inches? 24?) - not a flaw per se, but still disappointing * The oven vent is super weak and doesn't do a great job of pulling in smoke. Also, GE put the big burners at the front of the stove which isn't well covered by the vents. * The finishes are mixed - example of good: undermount sinks are nice and fancy. example of bad: a lot of the baseboards have gaps with the floor. * GE appliances feel cheap and lightweight, but hard to really know. Dishwasher rack doesn't move easily, and freezer door opens to the side instead of being a drawer. Minor. Management complaints: * There are no generally available carts for bringing groceries or other loads to higher floors. You can check out a cart from the leasing office, but it requires a trip to pick up and a trip to return, plus you have to leave your ID. Would recommend to management that you provision some carts by the elevators. At the moment my solution is to bring a backpacking backpack every time I go to Costco. It's dumb. * Super annoyingly, they wouldn't let me tour Lynhaven because my driver's license nominally expired a couple months ago (even though it's still valid due to COVID extensions). Worries me that this is just a big corporate outfit that doesn't treat people with kindness or trust. * Speaking of IDs, they forgot to give back my friend's ID when she returned her keys. Meant she had to drive an extra 40 minutes to pick it up before her trip. Disappointing. * They will charge you $360 a year for trash valet, FYI. No way to opt out. In general they weren't very transparent about utilities before moving in. I understand that it depends and they can't make promises, but at the same time it felt like they made no effort to be transparent. * Be aware that they won't let you see many units because they're locked and 'under construction'. This was a big bummer and I ended up having to pick an apartment with NW facing windows (ick) which I regret every single night when I get blasted by the sunset. In hindsight, I wish I had been pushier on asking for more tours or that they had been more transparent about how long it would take to get these SW facing units in shape. * When you move in, they'll make you do an apartment inspection that requires you to click 'yes' about 200 times for rooms and features that your apartment doesn't even have. Super inhumane to not at least provide an 'approve all' button. My hand hurts from all the pointless clicking they forced me to do. Again, worries me that this place is run by far-off corporate management with no empathy for actual residents. * They have a dumb gamification system that asks you to follow them ...

Everything seems perfect, this area is pretty quiet, I enjoy every thing here , the pool , the mails toom, the garage set and the people. but please double check all bike and handicap entrances the key is working on every doors ,

Stolen car from inside gated parking garage - During a very stressful situation of getting my son's car stolen from the parking garage of the Property; the office staff didn't seem to categorize this incident as eventful or important, they responded faster to two halfway-painted walls and a stained carpet the day of the move-in, than a car being stolen. They simply didn't show much care and they lacked empathy and compassion towards a concerned resident. From 10:00 AM when this was first reported, 6:00 PM came around without any feedback of video footage findings (despite a camera by my parking space, another one between elevator along the way towards the gate, and one more by the exit gate) never mind a quick "we're looking into it, please be patient". What has happened to common courtesy? The next morning an email arrived with "we reviewed a few cameras in the parking garage and unfortunately did not see any activity regarding your vehicle" while the email closed with an apology to the incident, an apology, after lacking empathy and compassion at the time of the stressful situation, is a little too late. How about showing care by focusing on the cameras I indicated are near my parking space, or the one along the way heading out to the exit and the third one at the exit gate? How about being honest and share if cameras are not properly set up or not working properly. The bottom line, a car can't just vanish. More to come on the outcome.

great apartments, everything is new, the community is clean, the staff is helpful and the property is safe. I agree with all positive reviews! It would be nice to have assigned parking place, but since there are not a lot residents, we have many space to park. Also I would love to refuse "Valet living", because its redundant service

My roommate and I are so happy to call Lynhaven our home! We absolutely love the community, our spacious apartment, and the friendly staff! We can tell that everything about Lynhaven was carefully thought through and executed from large factors such as diverse floor plans and amenities, all the way to the small details like valet trash service, the pet spa, and even the way the hallways always smell amazing! I cant stop talking about how much we love our new home. I would recommend Lynhaven to all of my friends and colleges.

I love living in the Lynhaven Community. The staff are helpful & pleasant. The community is kept clean & safe. The amenities are nice enough that I actually want to use them. The property is overall a great place to live!

Lynhaven is clean, spacious, and management is responsive. Due to COVID I haven't used any amenities, but management has made it fun living here with food trucks every Tuesday, cute gifts on holidays, and safe community events like to-go Thanksgiving dinner.

Been living here for just over 3 months. Great location close to downtown Campbell and Santana Row. Many conveniences nearby (walking distance). Upgraded new apartments with nice views and exposure. Nice quiet residents and good management.

Leasing experience is not good, the guy who gave me the tour didnt notify me that he would be out of office and didnt let others follow up with me when there was a promotion expired within 24 hours after the tour. The phone call system is worse, couldnt reach to the office on site, always be directed to a call center, leaving a message didnt help at all, no one call back for urgent need. Email is much better way to find management team. There are strong construction smell near the Josie building, it will be better if the smell can go away. Kat from leasing team is very helpful and professional.

I highly recommend Lynhaven! Parker (my dog) and I are quite happy with our new place in the Winslow building. The property is completely new and well designed. I'm impressed with the layout options and amenities. Most important has been the management team in working with us on every last detail. Sharon in the leasing office is a rockstar and made the tour, move-in and follow requests a breeze. Looking forward to spending the next few years here!

Its a amazing! I just wish I didnt have ants when I moved in and I wish the exterminator came on weds to treat the situation. We planned for it and nothing happened. Other than my rant about the ants. I thinking its an amazing place!
