Amazing office staff. Great location. I love the walkway along the river. The location is so nice because we are in walking distance to everything. Keep up the great job NRYC Regatta team. I already like living here.

THIS BUILDING IS INFESTED WITH COCKROACH AND THEY KNOW IT! I really wish Yelp would let me upload a video showing the magnitude of the situation. I counted at least 30 cockroaches on the day we moved in. Safe to say we moved out the next day. They offered absolutely no hotel accommodations or anything, they bombed the apartment, left hundreds of dead cockroaches littered throughout the entire apartment, and expected us to sleep with them until a cleaning crew came the next day. Oh and don't even try talking to anyone. No one is helpful and no one will put you in contact with someone higher up. Then they have the audacity to offer us a gift card for dinner "for our troubles" that they had absolutely no intention of ever giving us. Found out through gossip that the building flooded a while back, many people moved out because of it and the place filled up with roaches. They knew this very well and STILL allowed us to pay thousands of dollars to move into the apartment. I am disgusted, I am traumatized, it was the worst two days of my life. Thankfully we were fortunate enough to have another place to fall back on, but if we hadn't, we'd be living in a cockroach infested apartment for the next year. They don't care about you at all at New River Yacht Club and oh do they make it known. Please, save yourself from the nightmare before it starts and stay FAR AWAY from this complex.

The building has had its ups and downs but for the most part we have been happy living here. We have one of the larger balcony's which also has is good and bad. I love being outdoors so I spend a lot of time on the balcony. There have been unkind and disrespectful residents that toss their lit cigarettes and other things they smoke onto our balcony which have caused us to purchase so far three sets of furniture covers and two umbrellas. We've had a few other problems but usually quickly resolved. Our hope is that the new leasing manager can do a better job than their predecessor.

The location is the best as you can walk every time you want to go for dinner or cocktails. Would hope that all the upcoming building that is about to happen does not effect the time it takes to get home.

Still pending on rating the overall experience, which for 3 weeks here, most of all things are great due to location, also as I decided to set up my home office. The apartment unit needs work in order to have the home feeling.

The management team is great to work with and very professional. The valet team is nice and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this apartment complex to anyone looking to move to Ft Lauderdale. It is very close to the beach and dining areas.

From the front door to the maintenance staff everyone is very friendly and helpful. When I arrived the apartment had been empty for over a month and they had it cleaned before we moved in. The maintenance staff (Pablo) had to come and fix a couple things and he was there within 24hr and very friendly and helpful. The building is clean, and quiet. Love the view from our terrace. I love the fact can't hear our neighbors thru the walls, that is a major plus.

We toured New River Yacht club with Bryan and he was very informative. We were trying to decide on a place and he was available to answer any questions we had. Bryan was extremely helpful from the day we toured to the day we moved in and after. The doorman and valet are prompt and very friendly! I impressed with all of the staff here at NRYC especially Bryan! It really calmed our nerves about moving and helped us so much:)

Wonderful location in the heart of downtown fort Lauderdale over looking the beautiful riverfront . Walking distance to las Olas , art museum, Bubier park and more food options than I can keep up with (foodie life) . I would like to thank Noel, Bryan and Mike for making my move in smooth and worry free. Also you cannot beat the view from the pool! Overall I am happy I made the move and I'm also looking forward to participating in more events that the leasing office has been offering thus far.

We recently moved to New River Yacht Club from out of state. We are thrilled to have made the right decision to move here. There's nothing like waking up everyday and enjoy a cup of coffee with this view. Noel has been amazing at making us feel right at home. Thank you for the restaurant tips and places to visit, being from out of town that is great information to have.

The new property manager, Noel, and his support staff, Brian, were both amazingly helpful with all lease related issues. They are efficient communicators and have residents' best interest at heart. They are working diligently to keep the building secure, updated and luxurious. Overall, the new management team works to keep residents happy.

Hello. Before I start, I want to stress to the manager and any leasing agent trying to make this better.... You won't. I've lived for a year and you've given up on me 3 months in, I am tired of being pushed around and watching others being pushed around. I am leaving an honest review here tonight so nobody else has to suffer like I did or anyone else. Let me start off by saying, I'm going to be blunt and brutally honest with you on these situations. I have lived at NYRC almost a year and STILL live there thanks to COVID-19. While living there I've had appliance failures, safety hazards and stuff I am genuinely shocked I haven't got an attorney for myself and those who got screwed my NYRC and leasing? find one. The plumbing is so shotty my dishwasher and dryer has broken down repeatedly and malfunctioned ending in me actually needing to call the manufacture myself. The sink is a joke, no hot water once so ever and my second week in... I had my toilet tank quite actually break, which they claim they exam apartments before releasing but they didn't exam mine. There was dirty clothes even stuck behind walls, there ARE NO EXCUSES. THIS. IS NOT LUXURY. It had flooded my unit so bad, it was up to my ankles and there IS still water damage to this day. It too someone an hour to finally get there, and once they finally finished "cleaning" up the mess, they promised to come back and help. That is when they promised to help and never did. I have spent thousand and thousands replacing this and repairing things because the team has excuses of why it can't be done. I've had my A/C unit go out too, keep in mind this in SOUTH FLORIDA... and I would go hours to one time, days without it. One the pandemic hit, their response was more money. Give more money because if you lose your job? They'll ask you to file for unemployment and Kim, we both know that won't save ANYBODY with the prices you charge for these "luxury" apartments. I believe I had someone attempt to break into my apartment and I had a busted lock, it only ever got fixed because I had finally said it was a legal issue but there was still no personal comment back. Everything is over the phone so nothing can be documented, but I'm tempted to even excise my rights and start to record the promises given so if I do leave, and they fight. Proof exists of these issues, it's clear they existed before I moved in the previous resident moved out for a reason. Lastly... this cannot be ignored or blame. shifted, New River Yacht Club ended up being raided for a resident that, that was caught with human trafficking. the reason is allegedly, I know it happened because I was stuck in the lobby with FBI and unmarked agents plowing in with quite literally everything. Do you understand, from a psychology student, what does to someones brain? being caught in the middle of the raid? You offered the residents and me an explanation and a reach out... It never can, my PTSD and stress got so bad from everything living there. I barely can sleep here anymore, I now rent a cheap hotel to stay at when I can't even sleep here. (P.S. I wasn't the only one who got caught in the middle and had that ---- happen to, other poor residents got screwed out of any reasoning or help afterwords for that and I feel bad for the staff who just got stuck in the middle of it too and had to come to work acting like nothing wrong ever goes on there.) These aren't just general oops issues, there are real human issues being ignored constantly and it seems to happen year, after year after year. TRG; I've attempted to reach out to them about this and they have no comment or than email. It's been a month since they've said they've reach out to me personally about all this. I don't even recommend Fort Lauderdale as somewhere to live. Find somewhere better to go, this place will overcharge and just traumatize you here.

Currently a resident. Air conditioning has been out the entire day, 85 degrees in our place. Sent a ticket in yesterday to have it fixed with no response. Today went and spoke to one of the managers and she said she would send someone up in 30 minutes. 6pm still no AC and no one has come or contacted us so we go down to the front office and I get yelled at through the office door saying someone will be up to fix it. Terrible customer service. The previous office manager Edgar was exceptional, please bring him back ????

I have lived at New River for the last 2 years. It has been an amazing experience. From A to Z my stay has been perfect. Not only are the apartments beautiful and spacious but the staff at New River has gone above and beyond to make the community to feel like a family. I have lived all across the nation and this apartment living has been my best experience yet!!! If I wasn't moving out of Ft Lauderdale I would be there another 2 years!!!

I recently moved out of NRYC. Overall, I did enjoy my stay here. The apartments are very pretty, I had a nice ocean view, and I do love the location on the river walk. However, there are some major problems with this place that led me not to renew. 1) The cable service. I cannot express to you enough how bad it is. The building has a contract with Hotwire, which means you HAVE to use them. And it's awful. The On Demand is ridiculous, the Internet is so spotty that I regularly turned my phone's wifi off because it was just so slow. And I use the Internet for work so I was paying a lot for fast internet. The main problem, however, is that anytime you watch an on demand move or show, the sound will randomly cut off about once per minute or so. So you have to pause the movie and start again to hear sound. It's extremely annoying. Obviously NRYC can't control Hotwire, but they could at least not force us to use them. 2) Yes, the train is VERY loud. And I lived on a high floor on the opposite side of the building from the train. I can't imagine how loud it is on the lower floors on the west side. Now, honestly the train didn't bother me after a while because I got used to it. What DOES bother me is that management assured me when I was looking at this place that they were negotiating for a "quiet zone" near the building so the trains would soon stop sounding the horn. They even sent everyone an email shortly after I moved in about how they had been successful and the horn would soon stop. But that was almost a year ago and guess what...train is still sounding 8 times a day/night. It didn't bother me when I was sleeping but it was annoying that you couldn't leave the balcony doors open on cool nights. I love loud city noises when I'm sleeping - the music from the bars and the sound of the cars on the bridge - but the train was too much. And my guests could never sleep well at my apartment because they weren't used to it. 3) For an expensive, "luxury" apartment, this place is cheaply made. The towel bars, toilet paper holders, sink handles, etc. all break with the slightest pressure. I pretty much got used to just having the toilet paper sitting on the back of the toilet. The door locks on every single door were broken by the time I left, so you couldn't even lock the bathroom door. 4) The valet service. The valet workers are AWESOME. This is not a review of them. It's the whole situation that just sucks. For one thing, it's an extra monthly cost because you have to tip them (I tipped about $50 a month but I don't know what's average). But the main thing is that it just doesn't work well. There aren't enough parking spots for each resident so you have to either valet or pay for one of a small number of private spots. During rush hours, the valets are slammed and it can take a while to get your car. Often there are long lines coming in and sometimes there's no room to get out even when you do get your car - you have to wait for them to move all the other cars first. And then sometimes the app you use to order your car just doesn't work, so then you have to go downstairs and wait even longer, or call them and talk to them. It can be very stressful when you're in a hurry. Those poor guys, they work VERY hard. Good things about this place: 1) The pool/hottub area is AWESOME. So pretty, and 90% of the time during winter you have it all to yourself. Summer is busier. 2) The common areas are great. Well maintained. 3) Management really goes above and beyond as far as trying to cultivate a social atmosphere. They have food truck nights where they get trucks to come park in front of the building. They host social hours at the pool deck. They host happy hours at nearby bars. It's a great place for single young professionals to meet new people. 4) The location is great. I loved being able to walk along the riverfront, go eat at the downtowner next door, and there was a coffee shop in the building opening up right as I left. You can hop on the free water taxis right in front of the building and get dropped off right at the start of all the action on Las Olas. There are tons of events always going on at the park across the street. Overall, I did like it. It's just pretty expensive for all the downsides.

I thought the management team was absolutely awesome and so helpful until I switched jobs and had to relocate suddenly. As if moving across the country isn't stressful enough, NRYC has made it very burdensome. I was told I would receive my security deposit in a couple of weeks after my move out- possibly a month. After little over a month had gone by, I called to see where it was. They continued to give me the run around and said it had been sent and to keep an eye out for it next week. Long story short, it has now been almost 3 months and the check "should arrive next week." I explained I was hoping to get this check before Christmas but unfortunately, once you leave the property- they do not care about you or what is rightfully yours. Nor will they give you the supervisor's number... very unprofessional and completely unacceptable.

FOR THE PRICE I WOULD LOOK ELSEWHERE OH AND MANY OTHER REASONS. FOR THE AMOUNT YOU PAY YOU CAN DEFIANTLY FIND A BETTER PLACE FOR THE VALUE. WAY OVER PRICED. READ THE PROS AND CONS BELOW: THERE IS RAILROAD TRACKS RIGHT NEXT TO THE BUILDING. ALL HOURS OF THE DAY AND NIGHT THE TRAIN ROLLS BY. BESIDES THE WHEELS ON THE TRACKS, THE HORN IS EXTREMELY LOUD. YES EVEN THOUGH THERE ARE HURRICANE IMPACT WINDOWS, THEY DO NOT STOP THE SOUND. ANIMALS - YES THE BUILDING DOES ALLOW ANIMALS, I DON'T THINK PEOPLE KNOW HOW TO CLEAN THEM. THEY STINK UP THE ELEVATOR AND ALLOW THEIR DOGS TO PEE IN THE ELEVATOR AND NOT CLEAN IT UP. VALET - WELL IF YOU WANT TO PAY EXTRA MONEY FOR THIS OVER PRICED PLACE YOU CAN PARK YOUR OWN VEHICLE OTHERWISE EXPECT THE VALET TO PARK IT OH YEAH IF YOU HAVE MORE THAN 1 VEHICLE EXPECT TO PAY FOR IT ANYWAYS! THE ENTRANCE TO THE BUILDING IS HORRIBLE. IT'S A TUNNEL SO EXPECT 1 WAY IN AND 1 WAY OUT BUT WAIT! WHEN ITS RUSH HOUR AND EVERYONE IS LEAVING OR COMING HOME FROM WORK, EXPECT TO WAY AND IT DOES BECOME A CLUSTER. THE VALET STAFF, MOST OF THEM ARE VERY NICE AND TRY THEIR BEST, EVEN THOUGH SOME PEOPLE YELL AND SCREAM AT THEM. THE BRIDGE LEADING OVER THE RIVER - IF YOU LIVE ON THE NORTH SIDE EXPECT TO HEAR THE SOUND OF THE VEHICLES GOING OVER THE STEEL BRIDGE. MOST OF THE BALCONIES ARE SOLID CONCRETE - IF YOU WANT TO LOOK DOWN AND THE NEW RIVER, STAND UP - OH AND THE BALCONIES GET EXTREMELY DIRTY. THE DRAINAGE STINKS ALSO. PEOPLE LIKE TO THROW THEIR TRASH OVER THE BALCONIES AND LIT CIGARETTES WHICH HAVE CAUSED PEOPLES BALCONY FURNITURE TO CATCH FIRE. CABLE - SO THEY ONLY ALLOW HOTWIRE (MOST PEOPLE NEVER HEARD OF IT) - I THINK ITS WORSE THAN COMCAST AND AT&T. WELL YOU CAN GET ONE OF THOSE UGLY SATELLITE DISHES BUT EXPECT TO PAY $1,000.00 DEPOSIT. THE INTERNET IS DECENT HOWEVER SOME PEOPLE SAID DURING PEAK TIMES THE SPEED SLOWS DOWN. DO NOT LIVE BY THE GYM OR POOL UNLESS YOU LIKE THE SOUND OF PEOPLE DROPPING WEIGHTS. ALSO SOMETIMES THE POOL SEEMS LIKE A VEGAS POOL PARTY SO IT CAN GET EXTREMELY LOUD WITH DRUNK PEOPLE PROS: THE SWIMMING POOL AND JACUZZI AREA IS NICE. - NO GRILLS - OH YEAH THEY MAY HAVE TOLD YOU THE POOL IS OPEN 24 HOURS - IT SURE ISN'T. CLOSES AT MIDNIGHT - SO DON'T EXPECT TO GO IN THE JACUZZI WITH YOUR GUY OR GIRL AFTER AND EVENING OUT AND HAVE SOME DRINKS. LOCATION - IT IS A GREAT AREA - YOU HAVE LAS OLAS A FEW STEPS AWAY. YOU CAN TAKE A FREE WATER TAXI AND GET DROPPED OFF BY THE CHEESECAKE FACTORY. SOME PEOPLE MAY NOT LIKE THE IDEA IT'S DIRECTLY NEXT TO THE BROWARD COUNTY JAIL. PACKAGES / LAUNDRY - THERE IS ALWAYS SOMEONE TO SIGN FOR YOUR PACKAGES AND THEY ARE KEPT IN A SECURED ROOM UNTIL YOU PICK THEM UP. THERE IS A LAUNDRY SERVICE THAT IS DECENT A BIT OVER PRICED BUT IF YOU CAN'T GET YOUR STUFF TO A CLEANERS DOWN THE ROAD ITS VERY CONVENIENT AND TAKES ABOUT TWO DAYS TO GET YOUR STUFF BACK. DEPENDING WHICH AREA OF THE BUILDING YOU LIVE A LOT OF THE BALCONIES DO NOT GET SUN OR EVEN SEE THE MOON. THE AMENETIES INSIDE THE APARTEMNT - DEFIENTLY NOT LUXURY - VERY CHEAP - THE PAINT ON THE WALLS GET MARKED UP VERY EASY AND IF YOU TRY TO WIPE IT CLEAN, YES THE PAINT COMES RIGHT OFF. THE "WHITE" TILES EXPECT TO CLEAN THEM ALL THE TIME. THIN WALLS - EXPECT TO HEAR YOUR NEIGHBORS IF YOUR BEDROOM IS DIRECTLY NEXT TO THEIRS. ALSO YOU CAN HEAR WHEN SOMEONE IS WATCHING A MOVIE OR HAS THEIR MUSIC PLAYING. I THOUGHT I WOULD SPEND TIME REVIEWING THIS PLACE SINCE IT'S FAIRLY NEW AND THERE ARE NOT MANY REVIEWS YET AND ITS SOMEPLACE YOU MAY CALL HOME FOR AT LEAST A YEAR. NOT SURE WHY THEY CALL THIS PLACE A YACHT CLUB SINCE IT HAS NOTHING AT ALL TO DO WITH YACHTS AND IF YOU DO HAVE ONE NOT MUCH DOCK SPACE. THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO BUILD PART 2 NEXT DOOR. MAYBE THAT WILL HAVE DOCK SPACE AND THEY WILL FIGURE OUT HOW TO RUN A COMPLEX.

Don't move here unless you can tolerate: broken valet service, lots of noise from Brineys and the train (not just the whistle, but very noisy going over the bridge), the siren from the bridge going off at regular intervals before the bridge lowers and the noisy train crosses, clearly hearing your neighbors phone conversation while your trying to fall asleep between all the other noises, walking to Publix in the dark at night (I'm a big male and this doesn't bother me, but may bother other people) and, finally, Hotwire cable, which, if you can believe it, is worse than Comcast. BTW, I live on the north side of the building. The south side may be insulated from some of the noise. Other than that, the apartment is fine. On the plus side, the rent is "relatively" inexpensive.
