How interesting that the previous review comes after I've been uploading my experience to various review sites. That resident must have gotten very lucky... or they haven't been here long enough. The location is nice, but it does nothing to make up for the slew of serious problems this community has. I spent a lot of time and dedication writing my honest experience to help people via a major review site... and it was REMOVED. Here it WAS: Coming across some of the information from prospective tenants for this residence, I've seen a few people upset at the fact that they haven't been contacted or weren't able to qualify. Trust me when I tell you: you can do so much better. I'll post information about my more in-depth review of this residence later, but just to get to some of the basics: (Keep in mind, this is a brand new construction). - Ant Infestation: I thought it was just me, until I found out another tenant said her bathroom was so badly affected her sink was covered in a sheet of black. I don't even know how much money I've spent trying the combat the issue, which I shouldn't have to. I even set out two types of baits which apparently don't work for what ever type of species they decided to construct a building around.(This area is prone to “Crazy Ants”).I hope you like them as spotting partners, because I've even seen them swarming outside the gym. - Fire Alarms Blaring Every Other Week: The first time this happened, it was on a Saturday morning. People were outside in their pajamas. It lasted so long, some of them left. When the fire department arrived, it continued for another 20 minutes because they couldn't figure out how to turn it off, and no one was around to help. Then, it happened again a few weeks later… at 5 am… on a Monday! People have to go to work and school, waiting outside in the cold for unknown periods of time is unacceptable. I found out from a blind resident who was forced out of her home at dawn with her two hyper assistance dogs in tow, it was the third time this happened in a month! The sheriff showed up some time later, so there's obviously more going on than we know. - Leaks and Puddles: On several occasions, I've found large puddles of water randomly in the hall floors. This is hazardous. I later noticed one puddle in the middle of the hall was from a leak in the ceiling! They can remove the ant traps tenants set outside the gym to workout in peace the way they deserve, but nobody cares about people slipping on wet cement? I guess luring new victims is more important. - Constant Entry: There is always SOME new reason why management has to enter our apartments. I have counted at least THREE times in the past TWO months. - Food and Packages: You may get a delivery during non-office hours… maybe. Ordering food, be prepared to wait outside to greet the delivery driver as they won't be able to get in. - Constant Construction: If the building still needs work, why are people living in it? I've come home to construction noise at 5pm. They've even been out there on Sunday evening! ...Sawing and drilling loudly into the side walls. It reverberates through the open-air hallways (another annoyance) and one instance vibrated the walls so much I had ants showing up in places I'd NEVER seen them. Disgusting… (and frightening for someone like me with a phobia of these things). - Shoddy Craftsmanship + Cracks and Crevices: Which is great if you love tiny pests infiltrating the home you pay for, or leaks from the floor above running into your apartment. This is on top of the horrible way the building is thrown together. Sure it looks so nice and contemporary in the office area, but a closer look of the hallways, elevators and the units themselves shows they threw it together without caring. I had to re-stick an evacuation sign falling off the wall already. My bathroom sink is actually CROOKED. I'm still seeing construction workers walking around with materials every week.Again, why are there people here if it's not complete? - Out of the Loop: Of course, we're never told about things like nighttime and weekend construction ahead of time. We're also not told ahead of time when they decide to shut down one of the elevators (we only have TWO for the whole building) for painting. They just leave a sign... in the parking lot... that you find once you give up and walk down the stairwell. It was probably a great help to everyone trying to go UP to their apartment at 6 in the morning.I'm sure no one stood there pressing the button like a maniac on their way to work trying to figure out why it wasn't working. - Resident Lounge: The WiFi they promise is a joke. They never even tell you the password to use it. I only found out by overhearing another resident go up to the office and ask about it. Which does not matter at all because the password doesn't work! They know this, and still have done nothing to fix it. The girl was told when she asked that it wouldn't work.Wow. I tried to condense the information from my ACTUAL review of this place ( ), but this property is so unbelievable, I still ended up writing a book. The info here barely even scratches the surface of the apartment I can barely even use. It's depressing that I was so excited about this…
