Not the worst, but not great

For the money you're ok - but the facade they put on is not accurate. If you need a garage its probably par with everything else around in Orlando area. If you don't need a garage try and find something else. They're always nice to everyone at first, but if you need something later on - good luck.

Great Place

Lived here for a year now, maintenance is great, they fix the problem immediately, everyone that works here is very friendly and keep things orderly. Very nice place for families, its a quiet safe area.

Good Place to Live

I've lived here for over a year now and haven't had any problems. I am actually renewing my lease. Anytime something needed to be fixed in the apartment it was done in a timely fashion. The ladies in the office are always friendly to me. The gate does break occasionally but this is something that happens in most complexes so I don't see it as a big deal. I never have any trouble with the valet trash but then I only put stuff out a couple times a week and don't pile it up. I love that I can just pay my rent online so I don't have to cut a check and swing by the office.

WHAT IS HAPPENNING?

I've been living here for almost 4 years. And this it was a nice place to live. I don't know if is the new Management, but the last year in my lease has been horrible!. The first thing is that somebody broke my window car! $200 bucks!!! they are no lights out side! I even heard nothing from the office... they simply doesn't care about it!, the apartments use to be beautiful and like new, but I'm having problems with bugs and roaches all the time!. Is disgusting! I clean my apartment every night because I have a baby and I'm founding roaches ever night! sometime they are alive and sometimes not but is nasty to pick it up anyway. And the worst is that the pest control guy said: "what is the problem? they are clean (the palmetto roaches) and they will die anyway! this is florida! but the real problem is... I have to see this? for a $1100 rent apartment? all the areas in front of the door of apartments are dirty, (you can see death roaches for days) I had to clean it 'cause I don't want a see them, the "trash service door to door" its a great idea but sometimes they pick it up the trash, sometimes they don't or they just take the half and leave the rest. The pool is no clean anymore. This apartments used to be the best complex in the area, but you can heard your neighborhoods and the prices are a little expensive! I'm so sad :( and waiting to get done my lease agreement.

THE BIGGEST CROOKS I EVER INCOUNTER

IN 2006 WE TRANFER FROM ANOTHER OF THEIR PROPERTY. I HAD A BRAND NEW 300C AND 2 OTHER CARS AND SOME ONE FROM THE MAINTAINCE SCRATCH IT.DO WE MOVED INTO HELL HOLE#2. THEY WERE GOING CONSTRUCTION,BUT MY APT WOULD NOT BE AFFECT IT.WELL I'M ON A WHEELCHAIR.IN 6 MONTHS LATER THE WINDOWS WERE REMOVED AND THE OUTSIDE WAS BEEN REDONE THE DUST AND DIRT WAS CRAZY.THEY REFUSE TO LET ME OUT THE LEASE.WE DAMAGE THE BEDROMM CARPET AND BATHROOM VYNIL WHEN WE MOVED OUT THE BILL WAS OUTRAGES THEY CHARGE ME FOR A FIRE DAMAGE WALLS THE LAMPS.THEY REMODEL THE INSIDE AT MY COST.THEY REMODEL THE OUTSIDE SO THEY RIPP ME OFF.BY MAKING UP CHARGES.WHEN I TOLD THE GIRL IN THE OFFICE THAT I REFUSE TO PAY THIS BILL SHE TOLD HER MANAGER THAT I WAS BAGGERIN HER.I HAD TO RUN OUT OF THEIR BEFORE THEY MADE ANY MORE FALSE STATEMENTS.THIS MANAGEMENT FROM TOP TO BOTTOM ARE RUDE AND DICITFULL.I TRIED TO WORK IT OUT WITH THEM BUT THEY REFUSE.INSTEAD OF GOING TO COURT.THEY SEND IT TO COLLECTION TO FORCE ME TO PAY OR DAMAGE MY CREDIT.BUT HELL WILL FREEZE BEFORE THEY GET A DIME OFF ME.THEY ALREADY TOOK MY MONTHS DEPOSIT.TELL YOUR FRIENDS TO BEWARE OF CAMDEN PROPERTY'S. BY THE WAY ON MY STAY THEY WERE A LOT OF CARS STOLEN AND DAMAGING AND STEALING GOING AROUND.THE MANTAINCE SUPERVISOR WAS FIRED FROM ALOT OF COMPLAINTS OF PROPERTY MISSING FROM THE APTS.I HAVE SOME MUCH GREIF FROM THIS PLACE I CANT WRITE ALL.DON'T MOVE IN THIS PLACE.THIS PICTURE SHOWS HOW THEY DISREGARD THE LAW BEING HANDICAP ON A WHEELCHAIR DON'T MEAN ANYTHING WE HAD TO FIND PARKING OR THEY WOULD HAVE TOW US OUT.NOT EVEN THE SIXK AND DISABLE MEANS ANYTHING TO CAMDEN PROPERTYS.I HAVE TO FINISH HERE OR I MIGHT AS WELL WRITE A BOOK ON CAMDEN PROPERTY.ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!

Great place

I don't know what some of these people are talking about. I've lived here since July of 2007 and the only problem I had was that my car was broken into. They stole my air vents and my power windows and locks panels. Obviously, this wasn't a theft of oppurtunity or because valuable were left out. Someone else wanted my parts and I ended paying for the theif's new stuff instead of them. I called once when my air conditioner broke in the middle of the night in summer. Maintenance was there within an hour or so. That's not bad considering it was 3am. I don't know if the other people who wrote these comments are spoiled or angry at someone who works here but its just plain not true that the staff is mean and that the gates don't work. They do work most of the time. Gates are bound to get broken as often as they are used. Nothing is going to work perfectly all the time. Anyway, its a great place to live with not much crime. I'm glad to live here.

Don't you dare

To start off, Lee Vista is at a great location but if you choose this place only for that shame on you. I never had so much problem than what I had in my stay here. First of all management is unprofessional. The manager was clearing out rent money one day and somehow was able to withdraw money using someone else's check from my account. So 2 withdraws were made and almost $2,000 was deducted from account. HOW DOES THAT HAPPEN! She made it seem as if it was an okay mistake. OH, and there is one employee that seems as if she just hates her job and therefore hates anyone she comes in contact with. Then, my car got broken into and my GPS and radar detector gotten stolen. Not only that they stole the all 4 lug nut covers from my car rims. The pool is always extremely dirty, the washer/dryer facility was inoperable for awhile, and the gate is always broken. We were locked out of the complex in the rain because the gate would not open!! Ridiculous!

Management Sucks, Security SUCKS, SOME Employees are not TRUSTWORTHY

The worst place to live in. The apartments are nice but security sucks. My apartment was broken into two months after I moved in. The door was kicked in during broad daylight and the management did not acknowledge the crime. They made it seem like it was staged by the living tenant. Two ladies in particular are great: Monica and Jennifer. All others are unprofessional, harrassing, and unapproachable. I would not recommend this place to anyone. If you want support, respect, and good living go elsewhere. Even police officers have gotten property stolen from their garages. The pool after 6:00PM is infested with sexual activities by tenants and non tenants. I wouldn't recommend that you get in the jacuzzi since used condoms have been found floating in the water. This has been confirmed by maintenance workers themselves. The management has been notified about this and have not done anything about it eventhough they "have working cameras" There is drug abuse by people you should trust in the complex- WHAT A SHAME!!!!!!!!!!!

POOR MANAGEMENT

THE PLACE IS GREAT, IF YOU DON'T MIND PEOPLE SPEEDING UP AND DOWN YOUR PARKING LOT ON LOUD AND ANNOYING VEHICLES ONCE THE FRONT OFFICE CLOSES. DON'T BOTHER FILING A COMPLAINT WITH THE FRONT OFFICE EITHER BECAUSE THEY WON'T DO A THING FOR YOU EVEN IF YOU GET SOME INFORMATION LEADING TO THE RESIDENT IN QUESTION.

this place SUCKS,,, the managers dont care about you, they just want you to pay your rent. they dont take care of any of the issues that happen everyday. the gate is always broke. they rent to anyone..... LOCK your doors..... cant wait to get out of this place. if you dont care abour safty and noise then this is the place for u...

Camden Lee Vista is a great place to live

I have lived here for 3 years now. The property is beautiful especially since they changed the color and did alot of work. The staff is very helpful. Whenever I have a service request, it is taken care of immediately. The manager always has a smile on her face. The staff looks pretty happy. They are always saying hello to me when they drive by in their little golf carts. The place is so clean. yes, they have a few issues with that gate, but that's all I can say about this community. You will not waste your money, it is a great place!

Beware!

The continued mismanagement at Camden Lee Vista is beyond believe. Despite several written and verbal complaints, the issues are just being ignored. Point in case. Ask to have a look at the upper pool area and laundry room. Almost all the lights are burnt out and needs to be replaced. The place needs cleaning and the vendor operated machines needs cleaning as well. Laundry is frequently being stained. Also the machines are often just stealing your money and don't expect any help from the staff when that happens. I am pretty sure that the few positive ratings for this place is from Camden staff. The only way to have any action taken is probably via the legal system and sue for non compliance. If this place is reflective of Camden as a whole, I would certainly never consider anything with the Camden name on it.

Its an ok place

I have been there a little over a year. Overall its a nice place. The landscaping is nice but they could use eco-friendly pest control and lawn maintenance. The staff is ok but i don't go in the office much as they offer online rental payments and maintenance request. The apartments look nice and they have completely renovated the outside. They no longer have the parking company to maintain parking but now they have a door trash pickup service that the residents must pay extra in addition to their rent $25/mo. I think that is ridiculous.

Great Place Great Management

The grounds are always kept clean and the maintenance staff are always there and on it! The take into consideration that I do not want anyone in my apt when I am not there and they listen! It's great! The new valet trash is awesome. I think whoever came up with that idea is brillant. I am a busy person and do not have the time to worry about minor things..they take good care of me and I am glad that I chose this place to live!

I hate that I have to move!!!!

My lease just expired and I sure regret that I have to leave. I got transfered from my job so I dont have an option. This is by far the best placed that I have lived. It is well kept, maintenance responds quickly and they send you an email to confirm satisfaction from the repairs just done. The place is safe, clean and quiet. I have never had a problem with the staff and there not rude nor unpleasant. The construction is good meaning I dont hear my neighbors and they dont hear me. The people that live in the complex are the type that you would want as your neighbor. On the down side the jacuzzis NEVER WORK. Dont ask me why, the "business center" run on Windows 98 and there is no internet. The computers run extremely slow and why would you want a business center with out internet????? If you are considering this place go for it. Get an apt with a lake view, there the best!

I love living here :o)

I moved in 4 months ago and I've had nothing but positive experiences with Camden. Staff is professional and helpful, the grounds are well-kept, and I love my apartment. The price would normally have been too steep for me, but I happened to get a good deal on the large one bedroom. It's true the gate doesn't always work, but with any apartment gate anyone can get in after another car if they want to anyway (taxis, pizza delivery guys), so I don't really put too much stock in that. As a single woman I feel very safe here. Mostly I enjoy the people who live here. Everyone is friendly, and there's a nice mix of young families, older people, professionals and students. My building is very quiet. I don't use many of the amenities, but my little brother loves the pools, and there's never a wait in the laundry room. I've heard parking is a bit of an issue around some buildings, but I live in a corner, so there are always plenty of spots. I guess my only complaint would be that since there's no elevator, my grandma can't visit me on the third floor. Overall, though, the place is excellent. If you can afford it, I wouldn't hesitate to move in here.

Worse place I have ever lived

Why oh why did I move here? The last post said that the gates normally work, you must not have left your house for the last 4 weeks, when the front gates have not worked. The apartments are truly just ok for the price. The people in the office are soooooooooooooo rude it is astounding. The property is well landscaped, and i will say that maintenance is a well oiled machine. If you walk the grounds, make sure that you wear shoes, because noone picks up after their dogs. The basketball court closes before any one gets off of work, so you will never be able to play. The office sends out VERY RUDE letters to the entire building because one jackass throws cigarette butts on the ground. Oh yeah, I have gone to the pool at 2-3 in the morning, only to be asked "what the &$^* are you doing here -----" by the 12 year olds at the pool. If i had to do it again, I would have never moved into this place, I cant wait for my lease to be over. Run, dont walk, away from this place. THE WORSE PLACE I HAVE EVER LIVED!

Nice place to call home!

We have been living at Camden for about 5 months now and overall it is a nice place. I email the office on any problems I may have and they always get back to me in the next day or two. Although it can get a little noisy.. but what what do you expect when you are living at an apartment home. Gates normally work. It's a safe place in a decent part of town near the airport. I would recommend living here. Nice pools, fitness center (little dated but gets the job done), car wash, and an indoor b-ball court.

WORST MISTAKE EVER LIVING HERE

Well my lease is finally up, YESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Very Rude Staff, drug dealers, lots of ---------, don't leave any valuables visible... period. Lots of noise late at night(i.e. gasolina, motor cycles etc....)

We love it

We have lived here at Camden Lee Vista since the beginning of the year and we absolutely love it. The office staff is so nice and helpful. They put our work orders in right away and have always been fixed the same day. It is true that the gates are not working ALL the time but they work more than they dont. We love the layout of our apartment. Everything is straight and works. Im a young female and i come home late from work and walk to my apartment feeling very safe. We would reccomend this apartment community to everyone!!

Absolutely dreadful!!!!!!

Absolutely a terrible place to live.<br>1. Rude staff. Nice when the want you to sign then entirely rude when you do.<br>2. Staff changes quite often.<br>3. Low class people living in the community. Cars get messed up and vandalized - could it be because the gates never work? I think so!<br>4. Rent is outrageous and no breaks given for the construction hell.<br>5. They make mistakes and won't admit it and will try to hold it against you.<br>6. They started a parking program. I registered and I'm still getting notes on my car to register.<br>7. When you move in they have a pre-filled form for them to accept packages on your behalf. They get annoyed if you get a package and try to pick it up.<br>8. Lighting is terrible in the parking area (imagine how it was during the construction period). I wait in my car until someone else walks up to the building at night. I don't feel safe!!!<br>9. The layout is terrible and the workmanship inside is awful. Nothing is straight.<br>10. Maintenance men are terrible. On-call maintenance is even worse. My AC stopped during the summer (while I was out of town). I get back to 100 degrees in my apt. I had to page 3 times for over one and a half hours to even get a call back. Regular maintenance men take forever to perform your request and it never is fixed completely.<br><br>Stay away if you value customer service, safety and sanity. It is definitely not worth the cost or the hassle. Find another apartment somewhere else for less, with better service.

DON'T DO IT!!!

When I first moved in here almost a year ago, I loved it! Rosa in the office was so nice and welcoming, interesting enough they all were when I was signing a lease. After that contract was signed...what a 360 from everyone (with the exception of Rosa who is now gone) I don't know what the requirements are to work in that office, but I've never met such rude people in my life! They think your a bother with any questions from a complaint, paying your rent to picking up a package. It's ridiculous! I always leave there mad. I can't wait to get out of this place. <br><br>My apartment itself isn't bad. I have a nice view, and the inside is kept up. The A/C works when it wants to. We already delt with the horrible construction thank god. What a nightmere that was! Banging from 8am-6pm, them going in and out of your apartment anytime they wanted. I woke up one morning to men taking out my bedroom window. I was in the shower once and people walked in EVEN after I yelled to come back another time. We slept a week with our first floor bedroom window out with only a black tarp covering it, I felt REAL safe! We were told when to bring in our patio furniture and we would, but somedays they would not tell you and they ruined our new chairs with concrete. "Call the this number for any care and concerns pertaining the construction" Yeah right, then they don't care and do nothing about it. In the morning and at night all the workers gather like it's a big party in front of the buildings and turn the radio way up screaming and laughing. I can't even tell you the amount of roaches we killed during the construction.<br><br>So I have no issue with the apartment itself. It's the office staff, the annoying workers and construction being done. Oh and lets not forget the gate. It's only closed 10% of the time and when it is, it's broke. One night I had to park in the mail room parking area because I couldn't get into either gate in the front of the building.<br><br>My advice? Stay away, you can get better for the high amount of money you will pay here.
