The office does not respond to emails of concerns after numerous attempts to contact them. The apartment is great and the community is great although people need to clean up after their animals better outside. I have stepped in dog poop more times than Id like to admit. Other than that I enjoy living here.

Pet friendly. Near all the places I require. Maintenance responds quickly. Quiet. Garage well maintained. Difficult to walk pets when flooding occurs during heavy rain. Happy that trash is picked up more than once a week.

Living here has been good. Some things not to great. Had a parking spot paying for 2 years. And then one day. They gave my spot away. Very unacceptable since now my car have too park in water when it rains. The A/C does not get regular maintenance. Not from the inside anyway. Unless its stop working. That's when someone comes to fix it. The price of rent is ok. But the water/sewer and trash fees are to much

I wont recommend this community, still have so many issues and the management needs someone strong to really fixed all the details as security, cleaning, and noise. The Garage is dirty, it should run a pressure washer twice a year . Needs a lot of details specially security.

Things are kept in poor condition. The floors in the hallways are always dirty from residents leaving trash around or spilling liquids. The trash chute has been broken multiple times. I have reported multiple times about a man who walks around drunk and in his underwear in the hallway and have gotten no response or action taken. This man has personally made me feel unsafe and uncomfortable. Yet the admins haven't even responded to my email about it. The door to my floor has been broken multiple times and when it is broken, it take MONTHS to fix. The elevators remain broken often. The doors to get in the building also are broken or ajar often, so no security. The back of the building where people walk their dogs remains dirty and landscaping isn't kept up. Not to mention 3 out of 5 street lights are usually out. The administrators do not ever respond to emails or calls, they are not very helpful. The dog park is never kept up with landscaping or cleaned and the door to it is always broken. And all of this has been going on for over a year, not just during COVID.

Apartment complex is poorly maintained, zen garden is dirty with a fountain that smells, dog park is full of dirt and poo. Non smoking community full of smokers and cigarette butts. Management team is slow to respond and unhelpful to any concerns. Garage is not secure and there have been several break ins. Absolute nightmare would not recommend.

Frustrating experience. Only positive is the maintenance staff is great. Things look great on the surface, but this is clearly a company that cuts corners to get maximum profit so nothing fits right and is just sloppy. This is bigger issue than the one location, it is a corporate failure.

I have lived there for the past 2.5 years have nothing to say but great things about Avana Bayview ! . The location was great ! The staff was very attentive and understanding during these troubled times. The grounds are well maintained. The renovations are fabulous !!!

I love living here. Just recently been experiencing mold and mildew problems on the floors and walls. Trying to attack the problem the best I can but I never had this issue when I lived in 2-113 and don't know how to get rid of the problem.

Horrible. Everywhere you go there are rats, roaches, flies, dirt. Neighbors across the hall leave their shoes outside the door in the middle of the hallway. You cannot walk your dog anywhere in fear of a rat running towards you or stepping over other dog poop. First floor of building 2 smells like a public restroom. I am glad we there is social distancing happening right now because it is a embarrassing to bring guests and walk through areas that smell, are dirty, have roaches, etc. Management doesnt seem to notice even though they walk around the property.

This apartment complex is awful, dont move here; its not worth the price. My bike was stolen within ONE MONTH of living here, despite there being a designated bike area in the parking garage and being done up with a lock and chain. The staff are indifferent to anything wrong. Trash is often scattered throughout the indoor hallways, and just recently there was vomit on the wall that stayed there for at least 24hrs. When I first moved in, the hallways were laminate wood, as were the inside of the elevators. For some baffling reason, the staff decided to rip out the flooring and put carpet in the hallways and an absolutely gaudy beaded slipping hazard in the elevator. Needless to stay, the floors are always stained. Oh, by the way, theres also a lovely pile of dog ---- thats been rotting in the hallway for the last two weeks. So yeah, consider moving elsewhere.

The staff are unprofessional and they really dont do a good screening before considering applicants. Ive had front door decor stolen, my daughters bike has been stolen, people fly up and down the ramps of the garage, people leave trash and empty beer bottles everywhere and residents dont pick up after their pet..including in the hallways of the apartments. The elevator is constantly malfunctioning and theyre is frequent maintenance issues. For the price you pay, youd expect better.

Avana Bayview is probably one of the best values in the Pompano Beach / Ft. Lauderdale area. I had a short period of time in which to find an apartment and I must have looked at hundreds of listings the quality of the building, grounds, and amenities is excellent for the price.

The air conditioning is not working and I just been here 2 weeks. The toilet was shaking when I moved in. There was a missing piece on the floor. The apartment was not clean. I dont like how they work the towing company is not good because someone took my parking spot and the towing was unavailable.

Great job and the staff is very friendly. The staff is very friendly and the neighborhood is nice. I really enjoy the peace and quiet of the property. Maintenance has improved. The office has helped a lot with renovation and upkeep of the property.

The garage is a deathtrap that for some reason has long pickup trucks at the corners to make it impossible to see if anyone is coming the opposite way when going up. Some doors are exit only and staircases are poorly kept.

We moved here after living in a huge luxury home in Parkland. We have been very happy here especially since they were bought out by Graystar and Renovated. We will stay until we find out forever beach condo.

Overall very good experience. However, I do have concerns about the smoking on the premises, even though it is a non-smoking community. Also, the security issues. Residents, willfully, put stones to keep the doors and gates unlock. Very concerning

Bad place to live. Super Dirty and disgusting. Management is non existence. Tyrone is Terrible and act like he knows how to manage, It is Dirty, Filthy, Urine and Dog Crap all over the place. Look at other reviews before you sign a lease there, for what they charge this place is not worth it. It needs to be shut down for health violations, always police in and out, very Dangerous as they even claim that this is Not a secure building. Tyrone needs to be fired along with Adam. Make Kelly the Boss and get rid of the OLD. This place has high turn overs, not a Safe place to live as they have had several break ins. BE AWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The building has taken a considerable nose dive in the last few months; general landscaping is non existent, security to the building is poor, the garage door is stuck open and has been for months on and off. Carpets are stained, walls marked, common areas are frequently dirty, the dog park is a mess; I want out ... as do so many unit dwellers here, renters beware

Great place. Amenities have all been remodeled and are amazing. Lots of space and affordable. Love that there's assigned parking plus the 5th level for visitors. Megan at the office is always great when you need something.

New resident as of October 2018. The move in process was smooth and Suzanne was very helpful in getting my paperwork expedited. Looking forward to seeing all the new renovations completed, in particular the fitness center.

This community has come a long way. Even since we have moved here a lot of things have changed for better. They have painted and changed the carpets of the hallways, they got us new doors and a whole new staff, who by the way is very efficient.

We see so many bad reviews but my husband and I so far are loving our place yeah they may not get back to you in time.. management that is but i cant complain we got a great deal and have a great view. Its minor things they could work on like cleaning the halls,the garage which the emailed us they will be doing, patios, and the pool is in need to cleaning. However, i couldn't complain much, but we've only been living here since February. I personally love it and hope we continue to have a great experience. I lived in Port Royale for 8 years and the difference is amazing its very quite in our building no loud screaming or hearing everyone walk up the stairs. People i see complain about the stairs with groceries but i use to live in a building with NO elevators so i think were grateful for that. YES the place is huge and walking can be a lot, bu again we arent bothered by it.
