The Arcos is a beautiful building with 5 stories. It is located perfectly between the arts district and downtown. The marina is in walking distance with beaches nearby. The parking garage is secure. Pet friendly.

This is a great location. The staff has been wonderful to work with. When things need repairs, they are right on top of it. The neighbors are so so friendly. Amenities are as nice as any five star hotel. Would definitely recommend this place to my friends.

Love it but I wish they would keep the rent the same. Possibly expand upon the dog park and make it more spacious for the animals including better turf or more grassy areas. Besides that everything else is fine.

This is a wonderful community! The residents are contagiously friendly and welcoming. I couldn't ask for better neighbors. Additionally, the community is a stone's throw from Main Street (downtown). The Farmer's Market on Saturday morning is a must!

Normally I'd be able to give this survey all of the highest scores across the board. The timing of this survey suggestion could not be timelier. We really have loved living at Arcos but the past week there was a very dangerous occurrence and we have been completely dismissed by -----, our property's manager, about the severity of the incident. At 11:30pm I was walking in the hallway and heard a smoke detector going off in a unit 2 doors down. After 5 minutes of the continued alarm, I realized I needed to knock on my neighbor's door to make sure they were not in harms way. No answer after banging for quite some time....I tried opening the door and as soon as I did a heavy wall of smoke engulfed me. I entered my neighbors unit and had my wife call 911 after I saw he was unconscious/passed out. There was weed paraphernalia all over his coffee table and I had to yell/shake him for a good 8 minutes (all while coughing uncontrollably from the heavy smoke) until I could get him to come too. I opened all his windows, turned the fan on and finally was able to get him to wake up. EMS/Fire came and he acted as if he woke up on his own accord. Figuring this may be a huge safety liability -- seeing as how the 5 story building is STICK BUILT....I went to speak to the office staff. ------- & ---- area always very accommodating, take the time to listen, and assure us that we are in good hands. ---- was fantastic and directed me to -----, as she is the property manager. As I explained what actually happened, ----- quipped back with comments that truly let me know she sees this as a non-issue. Once she asked me "what would you like me to do about this?" paired with "Well you wouldn't have liked me in college" I knew that the conversation would go nowhere. I am a successful, young professional living in a building with many other young professionals, children & in my opinion, most vulnerable....older residents in wheelchairs who are not as mobile. I do not pay $4500/month for a luxury apartment to be dismissed by a leasing manager with very little regard for human safety/livelihoods. I do expect some sort of conversation regarding this very serious issue to occur with ----- as I do not feel safe going to sleep in the evenings with a neighbor who is obviously skirting our lease rules and putting the remainder of the residents in danger.

Did not use any internet when finding Arcos I drove around and visited personally response on the area I wanted to stay. One of the best features on top of being close to ringling college is the security and safety within the building needing a fog to get in everywhere I felt ultimately secure that my daughter was safe while going to school A+ for security.

It's been great. Met and made new friends, staff has been very courteous and helpful. The amenities are nice. Maintenance on hall and entry carpets has been lacking, but appears to being addressed now. I've loved living in downtown Sarasota, but do to high rent increases, will be moving out in near future. It's a shame the Bainbridgere doesn't reward longevity.

Nice building but hallway carpet very dirty. Storage unit in garage holds residents old furniture & it should not. Courteous staff. Beautiful finishes inside apartment. Hall wars recently painted and look much better.

I love the buildings location! It's close to everything! The staff is very helpful and quick to respond to issues. The people here are a nice mix of older and young professions. The pool area is really beautiful too.

when i first moved in i was sold on the community, but it seems that ever since bainbridge has taken over it has gone downhill. there is constant turnover of maintenance staff, empty promises are made by the front office (go to line seems to be "so crazy we were just talking about that, it will be done in the next month or so", and then never is).

Apartment is good. Too many pet owners that don't care to control their pets. Constant accidents in hallways. Hallway carpet smells. Pet owners let their pets relieve themselves in common area that is next to pool and grilling area.

The grounds and the apartments are not well maintained. I've made many complaints about exterior doors not locking and nothing has been done. The pool area needs to be pressure washed to get rid of mildew and there are many other issues that are ignored.

ARCOS is a very well managed and run property in the heart of downtown Sarasota. When I sold my condo and needed to find an apartment I was fortunate that there was space available at ARCOS. Once I saw the 2/2 apartment and the amenities of the building I stopped looking. My experience since moving in has been very favorable. The management team is great and very helpful. I've not had any maintenance issues. And the neighbors are all very nice and friendly and there is a good diverse mix for you to find your social network if that appeals to you. The building is well sound proofed something I did not enjoy in my old condo building. I would highly recommend ARCOS as a temporary or permanent residence in the downtown Sarasota area.

Everything is great so far except the pet smell in the apartment and I'm sure management will take care of the problem. The common areas are very clean and residents are very friendly. Lots of great amenities and centrally located. The business/ work areas are nice and the ability to print documents has been very helpful.

Overall very happy here. There are always renters who cannot follow the community rules and cause problems for others but that is everywhere. And our management is usually VERY on top of these issues and work to make the community good for everyone.

This community is NEAR the downtown of Sarasota. I wanted downtown Sarasota but could not find a place with the right location and the right rent, so I took this ARCOS place temporarily and continued my search. I have been here almost a year. The ARCOS building is rather large and connected by long hallways. The studio I rent is about 15 ft X 30 ft and costs $1,500/month. The electricity and water are extra, about $100-200 / mo. including trash. All in all it is a reasonable expense temporarily. The unit is on the second floor of a five story building. Pets are permitted and there are lots of dogs. My neighbors are as far or as near as I want them to be, not intrusive. The floor is wood-like, the walls are white and the repair is slow but OK. There are two elevators, located in the middle of the building plus one at the east end. I live near the middle of the building so I am not far from the elevator but it must be inconvenient for someone on the higher floors near the west end of the building.

Management of complex is minimal. Communication tracks with other social media. Community is vertical focused and not horizontal. MANAGEMENT BY WALKING AROUND is nonexistent. But not the fault of local leadership it is the fault of Bainbridge Corporate.

We are very satisfied. There are issues, but they are usually addressed. Lately, however Maintenance requests are not being handled in a timely manner. I placed an order for dishwasher repair about two weeks ago!

Unfortunaly a good place can go down in quality very quicky without proper management...The last repair order was a joke, like a bad mechanic , the replace what was not broken and the problem remain exacly the same as before... Also fedex and Amazon packages all over the groun floor, with out security of any kind... Cars an bikes of Residents parking always on guest parking areas...Poor sauna furniture ( The sauna is not working at the moment) Noisy dogs barking...

It's been amazing living here at Arcos, Sarasota. Location is perfect for walking to all the downtown restaurants and attractions. Pool, gym and spa amenities couldn't be any nicer. Staff is very attentive and kind. Overall, I'd describe living here as relaxed and comfortable. We've really enjoyed our time here.
