NEW MANAGEMENT IS TERRIBLE!!!

EVER SINCE THE NEW MANAGER AND ASST. MANAGER TOOK OVER IN DECEMBER 2005 THIS ONCE FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT HAS TURNED FOR THE WORSE! I MOVED HERE BECAUSE OF THE FRIENDLY STAFF. THE NEW MANAGEMENT IS UNFRIENDLY AND UNCARING. THEY THINK THEY ARE ABOVE EVERYBODY AND WILL NOT EVEN TRY TO HELP OUT WITH ANY PROBLEMS. IT'S A SHAME TO SEE SUCH A NICE PROPERTY GO TO HELL BECAUSE OF A MEAN MANAGERS AND TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. LEAVE WHILE YOU CAN...OR BEFORE THE RAISE YOUR RENT.

Great People and Great Place

I have only lived in Newport for 2 weeks. So far so good!!! Seems like an awesome place. The office staff is so nice and caring. I'll keep everyone posted.

Changes for the Worse

Check back soon...in the meantime...be prepared for maintenance nightmares...do it yourself is better than these guys...management treats you like you are gulible...don't ask for anything...if you do...expect to wait for months...even if you keep on them...more to come...check back soon.

Best Apartments in Tampa

We lived here for 2 years. No complaints.<br>Excellent staff, caring and understanding. Never had a problem with maitenance, if something needs to be fixed, they are there the next day. <br>Our neighbors have lived here as long or longer then we have, out going community, friendly.<br>Apartment size is very good for the price compared to others in the Tampa Bay area.<br>We don't plan on moving until we are ready for a house (2-3 years).<br>We feel safe. Never had any security problems, security alarms are in each apartment.<br>Excellent, excellent place to live !!

Good value, great staff, but TRAFFIC

My apartment is cute with lots of closets, and a great value for my rent ($530, going up to $565 though). The leasing and maintenance staff are great, although sometimes they don't communicate well, and maintenance requests get lost. BTW, the fitness room does have a treadmill now, and the pool was recently remodeled, new furniture and paving. I love my apartment, and the staff can't be beat...however...traffic here is HORRIBLE. The intersection of Hillsborough and Memorial Highway is a nightmare. It takes me 30-40 minutes to travel 3 miles through this intersection every morning. But I'm still here because I can't find a reasonably priced apartment in a good neighborhood. Is all of Tampa a ------??

Definately recommend!

In response to the previous poster: Yes, they have continued to live up to their excellent reputation! I live here now and it is great. The office staff is by far the best I have ever seen anywhere. The grounds are always clean and there is virtually no noise. Maintenance is fantastic and always responds the very next day if it's not an emergency. The pool is always crystal clear and people are very friendly. This is NOT your average apartment complex! The rent prices are great too! Best in Tampa for your money!

I lived here 8 years ago

But I must say this was a nice place, with decent pricing and a very nice office staff. Of course this was 8 years ago and things do change, but I wanted to add my positive experience. <br> <br>One of the things I remember is during the time I had surgery, I suppose my neighbor must've mentioned this to the leasing office and I later found balloons at my door with "Get Well" wished. I thought that was unnecessary and extremely nice. <br> <br>I lived in a ground floor unit so I had the usual loud kids above me which wasn't fun, but I never complained, and even when my upstairs neighbor asked me about it, I told him it was a PITA sometimes when I was sleeping on a Saturday morning, but I understood cause they are kids. He tried to keep them a bit more quiet, but oh well. I knew my next apartment would be with NO one above me. <br> <br>The grounds were very nice as was the pool. I didn't have a W/D for the connections so used the Laundry room, and that was always convenient. <br> <br>If I had had any problem for the leasing office/maintenance, I don't remember ever having to wait or call them more than once. <br> <br>Overall, it is the only apartment in Tampa that I have fond memories of. I hope the place has kept up it's fine reputation.

THE OFFICE STAFF ARE BEST AND RESPECTABLE!!!!

I'M TRYING TO MOVE OUT THE ARBORS AT BRANCH CREEK BECAUSE THE OFFICE STAFF IS A PIECE OF ----!!!! ANYWAYS I FORGOT THE MANAGERS NAME BUT...GIRL.. I KNOW YOU ARE READING THIS!!!!!!YOU AND THE OTHER GUY THAT'S BEEN THERE FOR 6 YRS. ARE THE NICEST AND THE BEST STAFF I HAVE EVER MET IN MY LIFE!!!!! YALL NEED TO GET A BIG TIME RAISE JUST FOR BEING NICE!!! FOR AS MUCH MONEY THAT I'M PAYING AT THE ARBORS I MIGHT AS WELL GO RENT A 2 OR THREE BEDROOM FROM YALL!!! IT'S NOT WORTH LIVING IN HIGH (CL)--- APARTMENTS IF THE ARE GOING TO TREAT ME LIKE ----... I'LL SEE YALL SOON!!!! I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND NEWPORT APARTMENTS...TRUST ME THEY ARE ON POINT AND STILL MAKE SURE EVERYTHING IS SUPPOSSED TO BE ON POINT TOO.!!!!

Overall I WOULD recommend!

Nice curb appeal...meaning= nicely landscaped..and nice outside condition of exterior. I enjoyed the gym (but no treadmill) the racquetball courts. Feeding the ducks & Monster sized softshell turtles in the lake..both would eat bread out of your hand. Nice neighborhood to walk in the evenings (tampa shores) Great location...easy access to major interstates, close to stores, resturants, malls and grocery stores. Overall the office staff was friendly and prompt with repairs...easy lenient entrance requirements..low entrance fees. Informative monthly newsletter and office staff threw some nice events..Christmas, and pool parties...with food and keg. 2 nice size laundry facilities and car wash area. <br><br> <br><br>Negatives..was not able to negotiate with management during yearly rent increases. At times..noise neighbors (barking dogs..stomping upstairs..stereo bass on the weekends) Water meters were installed so was now being charged H2O/Sewage. :( <br><br> <br><br>Overall I would recommend this complex.

Not bad!

It has been a long time since I lived there but overall it wasn´t too bad an experience. Nice community, nice pool, loved the pond, miss my ducks. Other than the frequent peeping toms, not too bad. The onsite Fl. Patrolman was awesome in helping with the peeping tom incident as well as the office. A few shady things went on resident wise but overall a good experience.
