Very quiet

Quiet community in the middle of a neighborhood. Ryle school district and they are building new restaurants right at the end of the neighborhood. The people here are nice and maintenance cares a lot. They are fast and the office takes the time to help you when you need help.

Okay. I really like my apartment. Maintenance is very good. They are quick to respond . I had a flood last April. Work has never been completed. The company doing the work never finished. I told office manager.

Well my problem is that some neighbor don't care about who lives around you tha my big pproblem with those people and is not enough parking spots so I'm fine but not happy with this problem is a lot todo to fixed

The move in started off well, but the past year has been troubling and caused me with a lot of concern. I had the A/C break and left my apartment at 95 degrees for two weeks (with a temp. Acu unit. I had the garbage disposal break several times, hot water heater busted, gas leak, and much more. The neighborhood is no longer safe. There is a domestic violence situation next door with lots of fighting. There have been multiple responses across the street and a full search of the neighborhood looking for weapons. This is not luxury living as promoted.

Nice and quiet and the admin is great with kind and knowledgeable workers. I am happy with the community but I wish that I had a driveway. The workers have been kind and really take the time to address the needs and wants of the residents

I enjoy the apartment and the area it's in, I do have lots of issues with the trash and valet trash, I definitely don't think the $30 is worth the valet service. There is trash all over the community and common areas, ppl leave trash bags on the corners of the street. We have so many days of them not showing up and trash just piles up.

My overall experience at this complex has been satisfactory. We enjoy the layout of our apartment and the uniqueness of the design - entering on ground level but being on the second level towards the back of our apartment. Maintenance has been incredibly helpful and kind. On the other hand, we dealt with a mold issue at the beginning of our lease that was not taken seriously by property management. There were obvious signs of a botched clean up job and cover up that we discovered upon finding the mold issue that took place before we moved into our unit. When bringing this discovery up to management, our grievances were dismissed and no action was set in place to amend this issue. We took it upon ourselves to clean it under the kitchen cabinets and sinks to remove as much mold as possible and air out the wet areas that were hard to access. I have issues with asthma and this process was very difficult on my body. We used our time and money to alleviate this issue. There has also been an ongoing trash collection issue at our complex. There is one trash reciprocal for the entire complex and it is continuously overfilled, causing valet trash collection to not adhere to the trash schedule - that we pay for - and causes residents to leave bags of trash littered outside of their units for days. We are forced to pay extra for an irregular service that ultimately causes our complex to look like a filthy dump.

They try to keep it clean. Parking is a huge issue. Overuse of the dumpster is a huge issue. The geese are everywhere along with their droppings. Pool is too small for the size of the property and it's a party environment. Plenty of weed and alcohol pool side. Gym area is tiny.

I am enjoying my experience living here. The apartments are spacious, having a garage is wonderful. I wish we could call directly to our office vs the phone tree type line we get now. Currently, both neighbors on either side of our home smoke and even though it was resported and escalated one neighbor still smokes in their garage with the door only partially opened so all the smoke goes into their garage/home and my own. There are many times when it is a designated trash day and it is left sitting outside my house still the next the morning or they pick the bag off the top and not the one in the trash. Overall, its the best place I have ever lived though and I am grateful to be there.

The place itself is nice, but the fees to live here are astronomical and always changing each month. It's hard to plan for bills. It's unnecessary too. I've lived in many apartments in my life and have never had things like the water bill and trash fluctuate so much! Ex) base rent with all the usual fees could be $1500, but by the time they add the water and 3 trash fees you will pay $2000 that month when rent comes due. It's unacceptable and the fees fluctuating so much it makes budgeting for life increasingly difficult to impossible. So, the space can be nice and mostly well kept, but if budgeting and not feeling ripped off is important to you, I wouldn't choose the columns.

The layout of the apartment is ideal, plenty of room for my son and I. Plenty of closet and storage space. The living room could be a little larger though. We enjoy the study room as it accommodates a day bed and has the computer niche. The complex could certainly offer additional parking spaces for visitors. The maintenance crew is very capable and friendly and always quick to respond to any maintenance request. As for the management team, I find them extremely slow in responding to any form of communication if they respond at all. I have left several voicemails and not received a reply most of the time. It seems that once they get you into an apartment/lease, they don't have the time or interest to respond. This is the first apartment complex I've seen that requires a 60 day notice of intent to renew or end the lease and I personally feel that the two months worth of rent required to terminate a lease early is excessive. A nine percent increase in the monthly rent after the first year is also considered excessive and when questioned, the manager informed me that an increase could be expected yearly. For tenants on a fixed income, IRT LIVING and their current management team make it extremely difficult to remain as a tenant.

The sing luxury should be remove from the front sing. There is nothing luxurious about this place. Do not recommend to anyone. Management should walk around the premises to see how dirty it thing is old and bad painted.

Very pleased with my apartment. Worried about the little ones riding scooter in middle of road with no adults around. Especially when backing out of my garage. I love the storage. Walk in shower. Nicely kept.

We moved into Columns on Wetherington and have stayed because sometimes it's easier to stay than to move. I feel like if this place didn't tack on $400 in utilities and mandatory fees per month then the rent would be reasonable. They make you pay for cable and valet trash (the price has doubled since we moved in) now having to pay $50 for valet trash per month. Our water and sewer is close to $150-200 every month for ONE APARTMENT. It is not individually monitored so we pay an aggregate of our building. Even a home isn't that much. We will be moving out finally after being fed up on getting gouged by the fees.

Love this place!

Great staff- fast customer service. Their app makes everything easy so definitely use that. Ryle district and they have a big lake with fish! We love the pool and they are always looking for things to improve. That means a lot!

Not home much, seems ok. Apartment is little rough. Just touched up, not cleaned very well , kind of high priced foe what you are getting. Cabinets and floors were dirty. Drywall repairs are very visible. I'm embarrassed of my apartment but it works for now

We have been here for two years and it has been great. Nick brought in new gym equipment and a big grill area with quartz and stainless steel. They are redoing the car wash bay now I saw them working on it. The apartments have always been great and we love to see new amenities come in.

Carlos is fantastic the property manager Nick is useless not helpful at all had a water leak in 2023 took 4 months to fix it and the bathroom still hasn't been completed properly another ruptured water line from the dishwasher in Jan 2024 damaged my area rugs this should be replaced by the facility not by the lease holder counter tops are chipping and Nick has done nothing to fix them

Good management staff but very crookish policies or methods of extortion of money from tenants. Example,it is very common to have your water bill higher than yours energy bill. You never see any index of consumption because they just give you a bill out of no where. They literally force you to having cable through them , internet,water , even if you don't want to. Use a third party company to pay bills there by paying extra since you have to pay that company just to pay your bills. Another very wrong thing they do is , you can't pay your rent without paying all their extra additional things which makes it sometimes difficult to do

Clean and safe. An overall good experience. Well lit at night. Convenient to shopping, restaurants, the interstate and the airport. Nice sidewalks and walking trails nearby. Many apartments have attached garages. Finding a place to park can be a struggle at times for visitors. Complex is older so some of the appliances and fixtures are old and could use a refresh.

I love it here. It is mostly quiet, things are clean and taken care of. Our unit is larger than some homes with rooms being good size with lots of storage space. Lots of open air spaces make it seem park-like.

The community doesn't look that good trash is all over the place, there is a drain in the back by the garden area that is not secured properly and I have gotten hurt myself from the drain and all that was done was it was spray painted. The maintenance team is amazing and the office staff is very friendly and helpful but issues seem to fall by the way side we plan on leaving at the end of our lease due to the price and how dirty the community looks. Carlos the maintenance tech needs more help he is on his own at the moment but he is kicking butt even though he is alone.
