My experience has been pleasant. Any problems have been quickly resolved. I really appreciate the security staff that patrol the parking lots at night. I also appreciate the police officers that live in the complex, they respond to non emergency calls quickly. This has greatly enhanced my feelings of safety

    Overall a great place to live so far (one month in) my unit is beautiful with plenty of closet space. I wouldnt be able to find a better place to live at this quality. The staff is friendly, grounds are well kept and the maintenance team works hard to address any issues that come up until youre satisfied. Glad I moved here.

      My experience at this community has been both pleasant and professional as I have previously stated. However the concerning issues that I have are firstly the carpeting in my apartment is atrocious. It is worn, frazzled, torn away from the metal stripping & underlying padding and horribly buckled. It is now at point where I am embarrassed to have company come to my apartment. It really is that bad. Secondly the breezways are dirty, both the aluminum siding and the concrete walkways. Given the amount of rent paid to live here, these issues should be addressed.

        The only problem is parking. Other than that I am satisfied with living here. Everyone stays to themselves and there are people who even get together to watch their pets play around. Love the atmosphere.

          They assumed leases and broke the contract immediately thinking no one would notice. At first the community was looking good was seeing positive changes, then Spring came and that changed. Lawn Care service hit and misses all over the place. Does not weed eat, our landscaping in front of individual buildings look like crap, the hedges have not been trimmed, there have not been any mulch this year, the sprinklers all come on different times throughout the community. No, not happy. The rent has gone up over $200 an apartment and we are surrounded by 3 Section 8 Apartment Complexes. You can not reach anyone at the office. If I wanted to talk to a machine I could call anywhere. Of course, when you need to talk to staff about an issue, you can never get through!

            Average in the design of the apts. The trash area is frequently overloaded prior to dumping. Several furniture and bedding left in this area along with other trash. Maintenance is timely and friendly with repairs.

              I Like it. In a decent area. Convenient to shopping. Do not stay on first floor though. No clubhouse for tenant use/enjoyment. No real outdoor grilling spaces/area or grills. Staff really nice and welcoming.........

                issues with multiple neighbor's or their kids within the 2 mths here. the grounds overall are ok. I would never choose the first floor again per noise from upstairs tenant. it would be nice if there was a way to know they had small kids and I would have asked for a different apartment

                  This apartment complex used to be safe. While they have hired security, security doesnt even do their job. They dont ride down each street to make their presence known. Kids checking cars every night, it has changed a lot over here.

                    Good ,I have enjoyed my stay. Now this is very important Food delivery , fire department, and my guess, carpet cleaning people and other delivery service all have gotten lost when trying to find my apartment. They all have said their [gp] has lead them on the back side of my apartment, I have had to go outside to help them get here. I wish there was help for hanging drapes. Not really liking the locks for the door I'm use to having a dead bolt lock. Currently the kids upstairs sounds like they are going to fall down on me most of the time. I am sure the mother is doing the best she can with them, I am trying to be patient, although I have had to tap on my ceiling and they usually settle down. Oh yeah we need a junk day for heavy pick up, maybe once or twice a year.

                      If I could give a zero or negative stars I would. They dont care about the people that live here. They only care about the money they are making. You tell them about your concerns and they never handle them. They let your neighbors threaten you more than once and do nothing about it.

                                  I have lived here in the community for a few years now. I have seen vast improvements since the arrival of Mel as our new manager and the continued resident first style of assistant manager Jeannie. Across the board, be it in the area of security, the grounds keeping or prompt maintenance timing, I have been very impressed with how far Clearwater has come in such a short span. My A/C recently had an issue and the speed and consideration with which they handled the issue was as good as it gets, going so far as to let me know that they would help if it got too warm which was never necessary with the swift service that was provided. The apartments are immaculate and in a great location. Being from out of state and following work, they have made me really feel like I'm at home...and that in and of itself is priceless, even without the continued improvement and courteous staff. I am not just a proud member of this community but also a thankful one. Thank you, Clearwater.

I live in the 3 bed and 3 bath apartment with loft master bedroom very big with walk in closet. nice place to live for someone how's moving from a house to an apartment.

                                      I will first start off by saying that these apartments are nice and spacious. However I wouldnt reccommend these apartments to anyone as the management is very rude. I was warned by a friend that also lived here about management and I wish I had listen. I never do reviews about anything but I truely feel people should be warned of this place. Not everyone will have a bad experiance so I hope if you go through with it youre one of those people but that unfortunately wasnt the case for me.

                                        Pros: + Ample storage. Utility room plus closets in bedrooms, bathroom, entrance, and hall + Kitchen space and storage. Lots of cabinets, pantry, space for two people to cook at once + Price per square foot is great + Plenty of close parking spaces Cons: - Very poor sound insulation. Can hear neighbors below us talking at a normal level - Poor temperature insulation. Our master bedroom is ~5° warmer in summer and ~10° colder in winter compared to the rest of the house, because of the two exterior walls. General: lots of kids and families. 15-20 minute drive to anything interesting in Louisville. We did have a flea problem and a cockroach problem that were presumably caused by neighbors, but pest control came within a day or two of our requests.

I will find another apartment as soon as possible when my lease ended

                                            Moved in around Jan. 2014 and since moving out always had issues with hot water, air, among many other issues. The floors are so thin it seems that you have to tiptoe around your own home in order to keep the neighbors happy, understandibly considering I could hear the neighbors talking in the apartment next door everyday. The management changed probably 2-3 times in the year I stayed if that tells you anything....

                                              Do not move to a first floor apartment! My neighbor walks all night long... i promise he does not sit down. It sounds like he is coming through the ceiling. The structure is very poor as I can hear his phone vibrate. He smokes so I can hear eveytime he slides the patio door open. Ive complained but the office never got back with me. Ive also had an issue with the motor of my fridge being very loud and they will not replace it. They will accept anyone if you pay an extra fee.

                                                Clearwater farm is a great newer facility. We moved in around end of june 2013 and really enjoy the space we have. We are currently renting the 2 bedroom loft with the spiral staircase about 1200sq ft. If you are thinking about moving in here see if you can catch a peek at any of the open units even if they are not the exact floor plan you are looking for. We had to do it with a one bedroom they had but it felt good to see new appliances and new carpet and new paint. Our only complaint is that the garbage is a longer walk then our old apartment but its really not bad because in their defense they can't have a garbage everywhere or it would really make this place look and feel trashy. The location isn't prime like St. Matthews but it way worth saving the few bucks on rent every month. The rent here when we signed was $805.00. (2bd 1ba w/loft)I don't think they are going to raise it because they told us when we moved in they had just recently upped the price and shouldn't be increasing for a while (Hope that's true still this coming july). If you are a small family looking for a 3 bedroom look for the 2 bedroom loft they are really like a 3 bedroom just a lot cheaper. They also have 2 swimming pools that open at the end of may and they closed around late august-beginning sept. if I can remember right.
