I have had a great experience at this property. Problem one of the best apartment complexes in the area. I would highly recommend at least taking a tour. Small gym, nice pool, great maintenance team. Good luck !

For what this place charges, I expected more: All tile on flooring has severe wear and tear, kitchen is very outdated, the washer and dryer is a stackable, and very small, the bedrooms and living do not have ceiling lights, or fans. The worst is the putrid odor of smoke. The persons living below smoke. My entire unit smells of smoke. Had I known that smoking was permitted, I would have never chose to move here. As others have stated, parking is difficult. If you live in the back, you have to pack all your trash to the compactor at the front of the complex. The fitness center is in need of an update, and upgrades. They have two treadmills. One will come to a complete stop suddenly and then start again. The other is stuck on a program that forces you to run at its speeds and then walk. They accept dogs, but expect them to never make noise. The grounds are pretty and I feel safe here,.The staff is friendly, except for the assistant manager. The pool is decent. I've placed two maintenance requests that were addressed quickly. Bottom line, these are very overpriced and poor quality in every aspect .I have every intention of paying the fee to break my lease, and move.

Thus far, moving day has been the only bad day due to start. The apartment was clean on in move in and all amenities functioned properly. Overall I am very happy living in this community. The pool is a huge bonus.

I decided to start my apartment search at Chesapeake Ridge and toured a larger two bedroom floor plan with Barbara in the leasing office. She was very professional, and had me sold as far as what amenities are included with the rent, size and layout of the apartment, BUT as I was about to leave I mentioned before I committed to any particular community I wanted to check a few other nearby complexes. It was as if I cursed the Lord's name during a Sunday morning service, when I stated my next tour was The Apartments at Charlestown Crossing. The "manager" bad mouthed this community stating, the ratings are way off compared theirs, and how much larger they are, that their service is not up to par with theirs and was so adamant on getting my sale that I felt as though I was just another lease in the books, not a human being looking for the best for my family. Fast forward... I decided to still check out The Apartments at Charlestown Crossing, and needless to say... WOW! The staff was so thorough when I asked questions, and the apartments are beyond what I would expect in my new home. There was no pressure to move-in, as they understood my current personal situation. I am happy to say that after only 30 minutes with the staff at Charlestown Crossing that I have held my apartment and will be moving my family in shortly. Along with referring all of my friends!!

My fiancé and I moved in about a week ago and I have felt so welcomed here. From the staff to the people we share the community with, it's been great so far. The staff: The staff are super attentive. When some of the amenities around the apartment needed to be fixed from the last renters, they got it fixed IMMEDIATELY which made me feel like we mattered. The maintenance men and the outside companies they use are all fantastic. The people: All the neighbors and fellow community members I've met have been so kind to me it was hard to take seriously. My first day at the pool, people were introducing themselves to me, sharing things, inviting me to their cookouts... I definitely get the sense that the people here really are a community and I'm very happy to be a part of that! Additional: Walmart is very close (like a couple miles away) so I don't dread going food shopping. However, there's not many options for food. They have a few places really close, but no fast food. For most restaurants And fast food, I would drive into Elkton. It's about 10- 15 mins away. Also found that almost no one will deliver here except for Pats Pizza because that's only a few miles away. Everything else, like I said, you need to go towards Elkton.

This is a wonderful property; the staff and residents are very welcoming! Very great location with ease to restaurants, town, shops and more. The little 'extras' (like pool, playgrounds and monthly community events) just add to the value that you get!

We just moved here , The office staff made the transition so easy , The apartment is perfect for us , it was immaculate when we moved in , I called about an active bee hive on our balcony and within minutes maintenance showed and took care of it , Parking hasn't been a problem at all for us , if people that don't have a permit would use the overflow maybe other tenants wouldn't have problems either , just a suggestion but maybe if they had at least 1 designated parking spot for each unit that might help ?? Other then that we love it here , Staff , neighbors even the pets have been pleasant , we feel right at home .

Great location and amenities for the price. Have used the outdoor grills on multiple occasions. Also the surrounding town is a nice getaway for a commuter like me. I am able to get to Philadelphia, Baltimore, and Washington DC easily given the proximity to 95. The maintenance staff is the real highlight to me, every order is filled promptly and with great care.

We have enjoyed the quiet atmosphere and have met some very nice neighbors. The apartment meets all of our expectations and we haven't had any problems with any of the appliances, fixtures, or utilities.

So far, it's a great place to live. I'm fairly new but so far, from the front office staff, to the grounds, to the value, I've had a great experience living here. I'm new to the state and the area, and so far, it's been great, and I hope to keep living here for some time.

These apartments should not keep coming up as pet friendly and pets welcome because they discriminate against breeds based on stereotypes. Not recommended for pet lovers. Pets should be considered on case to case basis not with a blanket term. Not Pet Friendly if not friendly to all.

The staff are funny. There is an event almost every month so the community can mingle and meet. The property is clean and the landscaping is kept up to date. I love my deck and my electric fireplace.

Chesapeake Ridge is located in a beautiful community with many amnenities, decent size units, ideal location, and for an affordable price. I am very happy with choosing Chesapeake Ridge as my home for my son and I. The only downsize is the kitchens could be more upgraded with stainless steel appliances, and darker countertops.

I absolutely love the property itself, the maintaince staff is quick and efficient. The apartments are well maintained and peaceful. Having the ability to rent a garage is an absolute perk. The landscaping on the propert is well maintained and great for walking with your dog.

Love living here! The staff are friendly and any repairs needing done are done in a timely manner. The grounds are kept beautiful. There is a sense of community here. Only negative is not enough parking and for the amount of rent paid, parking should not be a issue.

So far so good. I have not had a chance to interact much with the rest of the tenants, but what I have experienced so far is more than encouraging. The guys at the management office, starting from Scott, to Deanna, to Barbara, etc. are extremely friendly, kind, and helpful. Even the mail delivery people are new friends by now. Parking is a little stressful if you get in late or at odd hours, but we have always been able to find parking so far. We like that there is a car washer, and I love the trash disposal, it's very modern and "green". I hope to spend more time knowing the rest of the group at CR.

I have lived in other apartment complexes over the past 15 years and I find Chesapeake Ridge to be one of the best especially because of the management provided by Bozzuto. In fact, when I moved into a previous complex the management was also provided by Bozzuto but the complex over the next 7 years was sold and re-sold a total of 5 times and the management of the complex changed and progressively got worse. The grounds are clean and well kept. The neighbors are nice and friendly. Yes, if one is outside, the traffic noise from 95 can be heard, but then, I have lived in the major city and the outside noise is worse that when one hears from 95. The maintenance department is awesome, very prompt and polite. And the management team is great! I highly recommend the apartments.

We've enjoyed living at Chesapeake Ridge. We appreciate how well taken care of the property is and pet friendly as well. The neighbors are a little frustrating with the noise level and banging at times, but it could be worse.

Clean and well kept. Friendly staff, responsive to issues. Communicative about what's going on here and reactive to suggestions. I like having the garage option. I would like a garbage service like I had at my previous apartment complex in PA.

I am very pleased with my apartment and the community. I chose to move here because it has a rules, a good location, and beautiful apartments. The landscaping is beautiful. My only complaint would be the parking. I work long/late hours and before I purchased an attached garage I would have to walk the whole complex to get to my apartment.

So far it has been great the staff members are very helpful at all times. The property is always kept up . The neighbors are very friendly. For the price that you pay for me I think I'm really getting my money's worth. I would recommend this property one hundred times over. I look forward to renewing my lease even though I'm no where near that time period. It has been a pleasure and my family loves it
