I've lived at Chesapeake Ridge for about six months. It's fairly quiet, the amenities are nice, maintenance is prompt in completing request. Some of the office staff are nice, management is mediocre. Residents apparently think it's ok to leave their animal feces in the grass! Parking is absolutely HORRIBLE, it's a nightmare daily!!! The towing policy is a joke. If I decide to move it will be due to parking issues. Otherwise the complex is a great place to call home.

Great apartment, clean, well-maintained landscaping and amenities. There's a pool, computer room, and gym for the residents to use. Maintenance requests are completed promptly. The interior of the apartments are up-to-date, with nice appliances and new carpeting.

Very well, great hospitality especially from maintenance. Neighbors are very friendly and noise polite. Although the gym are is small, it would be nice to expand that for the avid athletes. Very clean and maintained housing, but i would like different paint, because it scuffs very easily.

I am very happy that my husband and I choose Chesapeake Ridge. We had looked at several complex in the area including DE and we due find the price comparable to the standard of the apartments. We have only needed maintenance once and they responded in a timely manner.

Our experience here has been primarily great. The grounds and buildings are well maintained and our personal maintenance requests are answered very promptly. In general people are friendly but respectful.

I have had a very average experience at this apartment facility - the layout of the entire property is a little awkward so getting to the amenities is very inconvenient from most buildings and reduces the time I use them. My apartment smells like smoke all the time, and I don't smoke. I suspect that it used to house a smoker and that the units surrounding mine house smokers (definitely above at least) causing a constant issue for me. I hate the smell of smoke. My water pressure is really low, and the faucets make a lot of noise when on (besides the normal sound of water running). The apartment space is average, adequate but nothing special.

Our move was supposed to be a short-term solution after the sale of our house in June 2015. My husband and I have been so pleased with the entire experience here that we signed a new lease and are now expecting to stay indefinitely. We have been very happy with everything from the friendly and attentive staff to the prompt and courteous maintenance service, numerous amenities, roomy apartment with lots of closet space, clean and well maintained common areas, and most especially the extra special holiday and community parties and events.

Overall good things to say. It has a garage and the landscaping is nice. All of the apartments are newer, and the appliances are great. Noise is a issue if you are on the ground floor near a HVAC unit. Sound by the bedroom will wake you unless windows are closed all year round.

From the time I initially given a tour of the complex and seeing all the amenities and the apartment layout I was sold. Having the opportunity to have fixtures (ceiling fans, TV mounts) installed by management saved me a lot of time, money and safety. The management was very helpful from the start of the process. I appreciate the courtesy they provide of notifying me of events or when parcels are available. I appreciate the fact that they provide garages and I believe the cost is very reasonable. If I don't make the final decision to purchase a home next year, I will definitely renew my lease!

My husband and I recently sold our home and needed a short term rental option. A friend recommended Chesapeake Ridge which turned out to be such an amazingly perfect fit for us! We love everything about this place. The staff go above and beyond and are friendly, attentive and provide prompt service; the community is warm and welcoming; and the amenities are well worth checking out. One of the biggest selling points to date is the way the staff provides extremely nice community events to cater to all residents throughout the year. We love it so much here that we're completely changed from a short term stay to an indefinite one! Kudos to all who help make this the perfect place to live! PS- we continue to love it and signed on for a third year!

Generally neutral. Over time, dependent on character quality of immediate neighbors. Current neighbors are loud and dirty. Throw garbage, gum, cigarette butts all over ground. Spilled food. Business center often overcome by children playing games on computers. Computers are old, chairs broken, keyboards filthy.

My experience at Chesapeake Ridge has been very good. The staff as well as other residents are friendly. The complex offers many amentidies that previous apartments I've lived in have not. The staff is always holding events to build our sense of community, from Halloween parties to Ugly Sweater Holiday parties and even to Pet of the month. I'm glad to call Chesapeake Ridge "home".

Requests are answered in a quick way. Staff very friendly. Willing to help with what ever is needed. Landscaping is kept up on. Very clean community. Parking can be a challenge. The dog park is a plus. You feel safe with the lighting to walk into your apartment at night time. I have never had issues with theft to anything on my patio or damage to my vehicle. The pool in the summer is awesome and kept very clean. The access to the gym and computer room after hours is a huge plus!!

Everything has been great! Easy move-in, well-maintained property, good lighting outside, family and pet-friendly, close to 95, amazing pool, internet, printer, & computers available, and a dog park!! Love the fact that there are pet waste containers & poo bags around the complex. There are benches in front of each apartment and trash cans. Everything you need!!

I love living at Chesapeake ridge. I've lived here for 6 months so far and continue to love it. The amenities are great. The pool, gym, computer room and common area are always well kept. At night time the complex is well lit. It's a very safe community I have never had any issues. The apartments themselves are gorgeous. Everything is well maintained and put together correctly. Every time I have need to call maintenance for anything they have came and fixed the issue same day. I would highly recommend living here. I'm so glad I chose to.

Starting with the apartments first..apartments are nice with spacious rooms and a patio. But the biggest problem is the parking, if you arrive after 8pm during the weekdays very unlikely that you will be getting parking spot in your complex. Also there should be a little more maintainance required when it comes to the building ..you can see spider webs all over the building and the stairs especially.

It is well maintained and the inside is perfect. It has large rooms, large bathrooms, a lot of storage and a handy good size kitchen. The layout is very practical. It is a luxury apartment. The outside of the buildings are attractive and the grounds are maintained by a group who obviously cares about what they do. There is very little noise whether from below or above.

The management office personnel (Deanna and Savannah) are hands down amazing. The caring for the residents they show is far and away better than I have ever seen. They both went out of their way to ensure a fragile package mis delivered by a not to be named delivery carrier ended up secured in my apartment even if it meant carrying it themselves up 2 flights of stairs (large heavy package). I can tell you this kind of customer service is what will keep me referring any potential renters to this complex. Kudos to you 2 ladies, you represent what's best about Chesapeake Ridge.

I have lived there for over five years. What lured me is the availability for garages. The office staff is helpful just make sure you keep on track of any requests that you ask as some will sometimes fall in the cracks. The maintenance guys Bob, Mike, and Tom are a great bunch of guys. They are always on call and available anytime you need them. Bob answered my call when my AC unit stopped working. Even though it was his day off he went out and figured out the issue and ordered the part the next day (he went out at 9-10pm to figure what was the matter). Later he called me to let me the progress and when it was complete. I even saw Mike take care of a snake inside a neighbors garage. He got it with his bare hands and drove away towards the woods to let it go. Mike helped with an ant situtation I had and even put me on the monthly list for the exterminator that is free to any tennant. The landscaping is very well kept, the summer time really is beautiful with all the flowers. During the winter the maintenance guys are out there with the landscaping screw doing snow removal. As with all apartments you sometimes get the bad apples but the front office keeps on top of them if you let them know. It's really a great place to live.

Absolutely horrible period. My experience here would be rated zero if i could on this site. Only rent here if you enjoy nosy neighbors, good for nothing management, and MOLD. I have live here for 2 years and am a current resident. Don't expect compensation when mold destroys your winter clothing as the blame will be put on you. Maintenance is decent, except for the lead guy ---. This man is worthless as i never see him do any work, only park his gator in a no parking zone, sit in his apartment and smoke cigarettes indoors. If you are so unlucky to live next to him, as i am, be ready for him to make a complaint to management every other day about noise coming from your apartment, and the wild accusations that you smoke heroin in your garage... no lie he will make that accusation. Management isn't much better than him, as when I have made complaints to -----, the owner, directly he has brushed me off, telling me staff can park when they desire, even if its labeled no parking. Last time i checked -----, no parking means no parking , not employee parking only. over all this place is garbage. if you enjoy a place where your complaints are overlooked and management does not care about you in any way other than your money.... well you've found the right spot.. would NOT recommend and i hope this review opens eyes for potential renters..

The Maintenance staff are the best!!! as soon as you put In a request for something that needs done In the apartment, they are their In a timely fashion and do a great job. OVERPRICED for what this place has to offer, you can find better deals that has the same things. Not insulated well, utilities bills will be high and my heat was set at 65. I didn't find the dog barking bad at all but the loud talking late at night was bad. Old appliances and the air will find its way to your place. If the price was cheaper, it would be more tolerable but the cost makes it unacceptable. I will say the maintenance staff work hard and do the best they can and the office staff is nice considering I can't stand the management company. I would keep looking.

We have lived at a lot of apartment complexes, and none of them were perfect, but I will say this is one of our top 3. The maintenance staff is super friendly and will come and attempt to fix any problem you have the very same day you have it. They also stay on top of changing air filters which is really important to me. We were lucky in that we have great neighbors, though you can hear a lot of what your neighbors are doing. Parking is hit or miss, I almost always have to try and get guest street parking because otherwise I have to walk quite a ways with my two kids even though we are on the first floor. The appliances are obviously very cheap and have had to be fixed often, and even still we are only able to cook on 2 of our elements. The rent did not go up on the 2nd year, and they often have rent specials. That being said, due to cheap windows our electricity bill is over $200 every month, and they don't include any paid utilities which most other complexes will. The playground and pool are fantastic, and they keep up on spraying for bugs and ants. This has become our little home, and we will be sad when we do leave here.
